The world is oftentimes such an ugly place, but sometimes it can be so beautiful.

Like, when two choirs, one from Croatia and the other from Zimbabwe, met on the opposite sides of a Lisbon subway station and both sang to each other.

I unfortunately do not know what the Zimbabwe children choir sang to them (although it was so beautiful), but the Croatian klapa Kastav sang 'Kuća puna naroda' (a house full of people).

And let my reward be a house full of people, my life, give me a voice, so I can embrace you with songs.

modern ramsay runs theon over in his obnoxiously red kia soul and theon has to limp to the nearest payphone to call his dad who doesn’t pick up so he hitchhikes to asha and qarl’s apartment instead and makes asha cauterize his toe stumps by heating a butter knife over a macintosh apple yankee candle (gift from alannys when asha moved out but qarl has debilitating asthma so they never light it) and obviously this doesn’t work and he gets an infection and almost dies and he calls barbrey (manager at the mildewing two-screen movie theatre he “works” at) in a fevered haze to tell her that he’s dying from foot necrosis so he can’t come in today so sorry!!!!! she fires him and keeps his last paycheck.

These are mostly just doodles I was doing while I was trying to get used to drawing ingo and emmet , particularly the facial expressions, the hair , the coats, and the hats .... lord the hats

You can just tell I don't draw hats often , I considered drawing them without hats in all the stills, but they're just too iconic , I couldn't do THAT. at this point, I hadn't tried to draw the warden version of Ingo despite the song being about him more so than Emmet.

I think I finished like half the lyrics, and I was working on the singing at this point. The instrumental was the first thing I made , just a fun lil experimental instrumental based around the Hyperfixation I had.

It was back when submas was blowing up on Twitter, too, so that fed my Hyperfixation

There's still a lot more left. These aren't even related much to the pv, but they're cute and fun

So, I saw Sweeney Todd on Broadway almost two weeks ago, and this idea hasn't left my mind since. Just the idea of Ingo as Antony singing to Johanna is really sweet, and the song itself is really pretty! Makes you temporarily forget that the musical is about murder and cannibalism, lol!

#i didn't take the best video #but i hope it's clear that this agglomeration I recorded here was not even close to the entirety of the people gathered up to protest #it was so massive you couldn't get to the plaza where the protest was meant to culminate #because there was so much people it was entirely occupied and it was physically impossible to advance #the subways were filled to the brim in both directions and you had to stand in line to use them. which NEVER happens #people who you could never even concieve of going to a protest were there. people ideologically opposed to protests were going. #people of all different political leanings were singing their own songs and suddenly united singing our national anthem in unison #you do NOT fuck with our public education. universidad gratuita pública laica y federal. #on a tangentially related note #there were basically no reports of repression even though they had been going crazy with police brutality in all the previous protests. #i think it's bc there literally weren't enough cops to handle this amount of people #a revolution is sounding reeeeeeally appealing right about now
