[ID: A 3d model of the engine pulling the taffy train, from toonkind DND. It has a tender shaped like a bubblegum machine, with a big glass bubble full of candy on top. The locomotive is organically shaped in a dr-seussian way, and instead of smoke or steam, the funnel is expelling puffs of pink cotton candy.]

Out of curiousity: I'm finally watching the D&D games related to the engineer, and I see the episodes after the taffy train cross-continental (which is absolutely fabulous so far) are from the neverending train. But they're not the whole series so I have to ask: Does the over arcing (at least i'm assuming there's an over arcing) plot of the neverending train need to have all episodes watched to understand it?
sort of but not really? the Engineer’s playlist is literally just all the games that he’s been in so far; it’s not necessarily that you should/have to listen to all of them. In fact, lots of people skip NETrain games and finish the Taffy Train saga first- which is its own playlist here.
NETrain is ongoing and very much its own separate thing, especially as time has basically diverged after it (all the events that happen to Engie there only take 48 hours in the real world, though how long he was actually on that train is like... yeah it’s very ??? that train). It is influenced/inspired by the cartoon series Infinity Train, though it is different, so it is a neverending train where each carriage is a new and different environment which presents challenges. Aka each is a new game for the players to get through, and there are different mixtures of said players each time! That said it is best to listen to them chronologically because Stuff Does Happen...

Hey! I did a commission recently for two people in the Toonkind DnD server: @heartlessreapercore and @mirasorastone ! This was a blast to draw, even if backgrounds aren't my forte!
If anyone wants to listen to the game this title card was made for, you can listen to it here! And if DnD homebrew interests you but you haven't heard of Toonkind before, I sincerely recommend checking out the Toonkind race and all the different Toonkind games out there on YouTube, like The Taffy Train Cross-Continental, the Never Ending Train saga, the Star Trio games, and many more!! There's even a long-running campaign called The Silver Screen! Please check these out if DnD's your thing! You won't regret it!

The amount of dread I felt while watching the screen turn black at the finale of Taffy Train Cross Continental is unparalleled. Beautiful storytelling.
listen I know it might be silly to be very pleased to hear that but I am very pleased to hear that
