"Both of you, faithless fools who would dare to take up arms against the king of earth and sky!"
The words "Zonai Ganondorf" entered my head and I haven't been sane since. Perhaps in the Zonai version of the legend, the warlord "Gannon" sought after the secret stones, and the incarnation of Hylia draconified herself to stop him alongside the Ancient Hero.

I’ve been reading the Grishaverse books/watching the Netflix show for the first time over the past couple weeks or so and I just have to say that I think it's so funny whenever Kaz gets snarky about Inej's proverbs or Matthias's religious talk or Jesper’s Jesperisms or anyone else being even slightly philosophical or theatrical or whatever because Kaz Brekker is the most dramatic bitch in all of Kerch. Like. I'm pretty sure this kid graduated top of his class from the School of Dramatic One-Liners with a double major in "Commit to the Aesthetic" and "Writing Epic Love Poetry Whilst Maintaining the Bad Guy Reputation". Dude wanted to impress a girl and wasn’t sure if getting the whole ass king of Ravka to find her long-lost parents was enough so he bought an entire warship from his friend who absolutely would have just Given It To Him but noooooo Mr. Protecting-My-Investment over here had to pay a fair price otherwise it doesn’t count.
The only, and I mean the ONLY reason I don't say he's the most dramatic bitch in the entire Grishaverse is because Nikolai Lantsov exists and that man once wore his entire army uniform under his jacket to go volcra hunting in the Shadow Fold on the off chance he would get to make a dramatic reveal at the end. He put a spring-loaded curtain in front of the weapons rack on his personal ship just in case he had guests he wanted to show off for. I wouldn’t be surprised if he did the dramatic flourish every time he opened those curtains for literally no one but himself. I also wouldn’t be surprised if he made that set up after he had guests he wanted to show off for. That curtain either went up two hours before he used it or it was the first thing he built on that ship there is no in between.
I need copious amounts of Expo markers, PowerPoint slides, and glitter to figure out which one of them takes the title it is CLOSE.

The whole “swallowing a secret stone to become an immortal dragon” thing is really interesting if you think about it.
Mineru says its forbidden, but surely something that’s forbidden has happened in the past and had consequences, right?
Perhaps it’s implied that Farosh, Dinraal and Naydra were once Hylian or Zonai and ate a secret stone.
It would kinda make sense really. There are barely any references to the three goddesses in botw and totk because this era is so far away from all of the other eras/timelines the games are set in. It’s entirely possible that when Hyrule was founded rather than disappearing into the heavens and leaving behind the Triforce after finishing their work the goddesses swallowed their secret stones, assuming they have them, to become immortal and watch over the land. The dragons, at least prior to totk, were known as servants of their respective springs. Maybe that’s what remains of their consciousness; the need to protect what they’ve left behind. It would also explain their names, as if their real names (Farore, Nayru and Din) have become obscured and lost in translation over thousands of years
Maybe one thing that comes into question with this is their appearance. The three dragons are covered in white scales and have either red, green/yellow or blue spikes depending on their element. Yet, Zelda/the Light Dragon is more furry, with a narrow snout, antlers and blonde hair. She’s obviously meant to bare some resemblance to Zelda, so do the other three dragons give us an insight to what the goddesses looked like? Do their differing appearances make them Zonai? Or were they Hylian? (If my predictions for the end game are correct, there might be another dragon, but please don’t say any end game spoilers if you reblog. Even if you tag them I will still see them in my notifications)
Dragons definitely appear to be more relevant in totk and I wonder if when/if we get dlc it would be focused on the origin of the three elemental dragons. I think it’s the perfect opportunity to do so

I don't understand the Yona hate. All of Yona's lines are like "Hi, Sidon's very best super extra special friend, I hope that you and I can be the same kind of super special friend. The three of us should do things together." She is literally telling you that Sidon has two hands and so does she.

I think a big part of why I’m so hype for Tears Of The Kingdom is that the fusion mechanic is, visually, the stupidest (affectionate) thing I have ever seen but it caters to the child in me that built swords out of markers.

you cant tell me that merlin hasnt learnt how to use a sword after 10 years of following arthur and the knights around and watching them training.
you also cant tell me that arthur didnt personally decide to train merlin after he realized that the fool was going to follow him everywhere, head first into danger.
and you also don't dare telling me that gwaine, protective gwaine, the one that calls himself merlin's best friend (there is a bet going on about who is merlin's best friend, I'm pretty much sure, and merlin knows about this and just messes around with the knights for fun), didnt march straight to merlin, grabbed his arm, took him to the training grounds and shoved a sword to him because 'i won't have you dying for princess' sake, he already believes himself important enough'.
and you just TRY telling me that everyone else didnt jump on this train and started giving merlin tips or used him as a sparring partner as an excuse to teach him some swordfighting, and this goes on for years, and it becomes something natural and familiar between the inner circle of the knights, and then word spreads also outside of it and all the other knights, especially the new ones, are way too confused about who exactly this boy, this servant, is.
you shouldn't even open your mouth against me about how one day merlin is sparring against leon and they are just chattering and doing light footwork until things get animated and it turns into a real (even if friendly) fight and, under everyone's unbelievable eyes, merlin disarms leon, first knight leon, the second best after arthur. and merlin just shrugs this off, fawning over leon because 'you're not hurt are you??' and. leon just laughs. he completely cracks down and start laughing and gwaine swears under his breath and arthur is still looking at merlin like he has grown a second head (and, maybe, there's also some pride there. and something else we wont name) and percival whispers 'has leon been possessed?'
and youd be wrong if you think that, after that day, arthur doesnt call merlin into his chambers one evening and makes him sit at his table and there is a sword on it. and arthur tells merlin to pick it up, to tell him how does the blade feels in his hands, and merlin is like, 'sire, have you forgotten how to use a sword?' but arthur just ignores him and tells him to try it. and merlin does it, and tells him, a bit begrudgingly, that it's the best sword he has ever had his hands on, it flows perfectly, no hitch at all. and it is. it's beautiful and the hilt just fits perfectly in his palm, the engraved lines of a dragon pressing against his skin, the blade thin and light like air, almost bending at merlin's will. arthur nodding at this with something in his eyes.
and you cant change my mind that, when merlin goes to give the sword back to arthur, arthur just steps forwards and fasten its sheat at merlin's waist, ignoring the confusion on his servant's face (and if the tips of his ears are red, he doesnt say anything). 'you keep it,' arthur just says, brushing his hands against merlin's for a second, before clearing his throat and turning away.
you wont make me think that merlin didnt just stare at his king, at arthur, and then at his new acquired weapon, and then smirked (or tried to, it probably was a softer smile than he had intended), and said 'of course, my lord'.
and if, when in thoughts or anxious, merlin's fingers naturally touch the hilt of the sword, and if, when worried and agitated, arthur takes it upon himself to personally check that his manservant always has the sword he gifted him on his body, well. that's between them, and none is the wiser.

have this headcanon that the Zonai Construct’s, being sentient, would naturally develop an interest in Hylian/Hyrulean customs over time, in particular names
Maybe Link explains to them that names often mean something nice, so the Constructs pick name of concepts they appreciate, like
“Hello, I am The Sky At Dawn”
“Hello I am Cloud Gulls In Flight”
“Hello I am Completing Tasks in a Timely Manner”
Except one Construct hears that names can be just a bunch of cool sounds, and takes this too literally like:
“Hello my name is *engine revving noises*”

【China Five Dynasties & Ten Kingdoms Period Musician and Dancer Garment 】
During the Five Dynasties period, the development of costume art showed a trend like “hundred flowers bloom”
At that time, clothing styles were diverse and there were fewer restrictions and constraints, and bolder artistic exploration began. On the one hand, the development of fine arts and aesthetic theories during the Tang and Song Dynasties also injected vigorous vitality into the art of clothing; on the other hand, the skills passed down from previous generations gave clothing a richer and more diverse style.
These influences, inherited from previous dynasty, became an important part of the fashion at that time and gradually developed into a classic paradigm. Among them, the long-skirt style attire originated from the late Tang Dynasty is still widely popular and favored by women. When matching this type of shirt and skirt, they often wear their hair in a tall and unique bun, creating a taller and slender silhouette. This style was inherited from the late Tang Dynasty and incorporated into the new trends of the times, making it appear solemn and beautiful.
This garment refers to the brick carvings of Feng Hui's tomb and restores the image of musicians from the Five Dynasties and later Zhou Dynasties. Their hair is in a high bun, their temples are hugging their faces, their hair is tied at the top, and they are decorated with precious pearls. They wear blouses and long skirts, and appear to be light and swaying in their steps. They have the beauty of smart, pretty, harmonious and elegant rhythm.
