(( primus and unicron being in tfa is a rough bit of canon. 

cyclonus certainly implies some level of unicronian influence and rung is canon, as is primacron (who’s hangin’ out in a blackhole in the middle of the milky way, no less)

I swear I remember some weird tidbit about primus being gobotron but that could be some remnant of fanon. 

nevertheless, primus is the ‘easy’ answer for sari’s entire existence, tied up in a nice bow by vector prime thinking of her as familiar. any other answer besides spontaneous pregnancy ala megatron gets complicated fast. 

as far as i can tell, one or two people in charge of tfa didn’t want gods involved because of the disaster of previous series amount of gods featured in previous installments. which is pretty fair: unicron got really annoying in energon.
