I've been real absent online the last couple of months, but I can't miss out on @iwtvfanevents 'a meal to remember' because we are so incredibly blessed with beautifully creative and talented people in this fandom who constantly inspire and allow me to forever-wander in the world of Louis de Pointe du Lac, my most darling and favorite character ❤️ this won't be nearly as organized as I'd like it to be, won't say all I want to say, and I will inevitably miss somebody and/or some fic, but just know that there is so much wonderful content out there, especially by so many of the people on this list that anyone can check out at any point:

twelve days/nine months by @devotiondroid & @weather-mood daniel/louis/armand modern human au quite literally the fic that saved the holiday season for me. when new chapters of 'twelve days' would post, I would drop everything to go read it and would count down the days until the next update was set to happen. 'nine months' is a wip in the same verse and just as stunning. it's no surprise it's amazing; it's toni and it's bri, two people shining with so much talent it's blinding. and their powers combined?? oh my god. (there's also a one-shot in this verse called 'saint valentine' and my brain broke reading it, idk) now, just a list of @devotiondroid fics that changed me as a person: daniel/louis (and a little louis/armand as of now) human au quicksilver/mercury a danlou noir au that I reread a couple of weeks ago just to feel something again and then toni up and posted its prequel 'mercury' and I simply couldn't cope. the noir vibes paired with the gorgeously yearning story is just !!! everything.

it's so interesting thinking about lestat in those weeks and months of hunting louis, of how he found out things about him from others, how he got lily so involved, how she died because of it all, and the way bri and zaya took all of that and then showed the mental state of lily throughout it all, how much lestat's vampiric control ruined her....................amazing. it's everything.

you can make an imagine of Morpheus being freed by his wife, I'm a big fan of the vampire diaries universe, so I thought of Morpheus's wife being a tribid (witch, wolf and vampire) imagine a furious wife with a thirst for revenge for her imprisoned husband I'm sure that would be chaos in the mansion

Okay...this got out of control, it's probably not really what you wanted kkkkk but it's in this vibe and I really liked writing it! I'm a big fan of TVD universe too so it was super fun writing it! Thank you ❤️

"NIKLAUS!" the screams of Y/N echoed through the Mikaelson's mansion at New Orleans. It wasn't unusual for the family to be locked away or daggered because Niklaus was paranoid, but this time it was different. As a tribrid – part witch, part vampire and part werewolf – it was a little harder to contain her, but Nik always found a way, especially to protect his twin. This time a witch who owned him a favy helped him lock her in the basement to make sure she wouldn't look for her husband.

Dream of the Endless and Y/N Mikaelson were not on very good terms the last time they saw each other, it wasn't something awful but just a little fight between the couple because Morpheus wouldn't share the burden of his duties with the kingdom with her. For Y/N it was like he didn't trust her enough to do so, but for Dream it was just a way to protect her, she might be a powerful tribrid, but she was still his wife and he would protect her with everything he had.

A few days after that Dream was imprisoned by Roderick Burgess and Y/N was naive enough to think she could count on her family. They hated Morpheus since day one for taking her away from them and the one who hated him the most was Nik. One would think that after more than half of a century she would lose hope and stop fighting back, but that was not who she was.

With time no matter how much she screamed her twin would never come for her and Y/N was now completely alone missing the being she loved the most.

"Why are you screaming?" she heard the voice of a little girl and when she turned towards the owner of it she saw a kid that reminded her too much of Niklaus for her own good.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Hope Mikaelson, ma'am. And I don't understand who and what are you doing here?"

"Mikaelson? As far as I remember my brothers and sisters are the only Mikaelson's around." seeing the confusion on her face, Y/N couldn't help but find it funny. "I'm Y/N, Niklaus' twin sister. That fuc…forking. That forking hybrid locked me here."

"I didn't know my father well enough to know why he would put you here, but if you're his sister then you're also my aunt." she smiled brightly and Y/N couldn't imagine how that child was Nik's kid. "I'm gonna help you, because we are family… Always–"

"–and forever." the tribrid completed her niece's sentence. The only way to let her out would be through Niklaus' blood, perhaps a descendant of him would work the same way, but Y/N didn't like that idea. She might not know Hope, but she was family and they protected each other above everything. "It's too risky for you. I assume from your late statement that Nik is…not around?"

"No, he…isn't. It's mostly me and mom. There's also Jackson and the rest of our pack, but the others are…gone. For now." her semblance was sad when saying it, but it quickly changed to her happy face once more. "But you're here and I've to free you!"

"I…cannot stay here once you do that, child."

"Why not?"

"My husband is in trouble, I can feel it. I must help him, he…needs me." through the century she could feel it, the way he seeked for her and worried about her wellbeing.

"But can you…come back? Please?" there was no way she could say no to that, perhaps Hope would be the first Mikaelson to not hate her beloved husband.

"We're Mikaelson, Hope. Always and forever." and that was worth a thousand promises. Once Y/N was free from that place she didn't even look for her siblings, all the tribrid did was run. She could feel him, Dream was in distress and far away from New Orleans. Y/N Mikaelson would burn the whole world for him.

Roderick Burgess was no longer alive, yet his son Alex still kept Dream of the Endless locked and deprived of his freedom. It angered her that he was still there, alone and thinking about the consequences of his absence to the world. No matter what others thought, she knew her husband was kind, he had a good heart. Oh, how the tribrid missed him, her body and soul were calling for him every single moment. To exist without him was like dissecting slowly, feeling her body lose strength until there was nothing more. She needed him as much as a vampire needed blood.

Dealing with wanna be magicians would be hard if she wasn't part witch herself, especially because they didn't know a tribrid could ever exist, Y/N truly was an aberration of nature. Firstly she had to compel Alex's husband, Paul, to invite her in and the rest was easy. Taking down every single guard was almost fun, mortals and their weapons thinking it could hurt someone like her. Killing was in her nature, but now she felt the need to do it for revenge. They were all guilty for imprisoning or helping keep him there. But the owners of the house would have their fate chosen by Morpheus, all she did was compel them to go upstairs and stay quiet.

"Dream…" there he was, trapped in his own cage with no clothes. At this moment she thought that their deaths were too merciful. When his eyes finally met hers it felt like her heart would explode, her dream was so vulnerable and…quiet. "It's me, my dream. I'm sorry for not being able to find you sooner, but I'm here. They will never harm you again." he finally stood up, at that moment Morpheus knew it wasn't a mirage or an illusion made by the others, it was his wife and she was here for him.

"Y/N…" it was the first time in a century since he said a word to anyone. "You came." Dream too remembered very well of the last time they saw each other, the hurtful words he threw at her and the way he left her at the waking world. If it wasn't for Roderick Burgess he would've come back to her, apologized for all he did wrong and begged for her forgiveness. But his wife didn't know that…and yet here she was.

"Of course I did, my dream. Nik…He…He trapped me, I was unable to find you. If it wasn't for that I would've come sooner!" Morpheus cursed himself for ever thinking she would leave him for something as silly as a little fight, that she would give up on him…on them. "All that matters is that I'm here now and you will never leave my sight ever again." Y/N put her hand in the glass and closed her eyes, she could feel his hand on the other side. It was as natural as killing, just like with any other part that made her a tribrid, her power strong and controlled making the ground shake until not only the binding was broken but the whole glass cage. The little pieces of it floated in the air like feathers until her eyes opened and it all fell into the ground.

"I'm sorry!" Morpheus was holding his wife like she would vanish any moment, it was as if this was all a beautiful dream. How many nights had he wished to see her face, to feel the warmth of her skin, the smell of her scent? Now here she was and he would never let her go again. "I love you." he did, he would always love her. Y/N didn't waste another second, pulling him in for a kiss, it was filled with passion, lust, but most of all…it showed how much they missed each other.

Many "I love you" were said while they kissed as if time had stopped and the rest of the world didn't exist. At that moment it was just Morpheus and Y/N, a husband and wife who were separated for too long. Revenge could wait, but not for long…the Mikaelson's were known for their cruelty and the tribrid wouldn't let Burgess get away messing with what was hers. Blood would rain in this house…more than already did.

Hello, semi-new reader here! You have upcoming fics called Eternal Summer and Love for the summer titles with have similar vibes. I assume both are set in the summertime before 7th year? Can I ask how those fics summary differ cause I keep on getting them mixed up?? (only if you’d like to share) ❤️

Hello! Welcome! Aha I'm so sorry, this was very confusing of me 😂 But yes, I'm happy to share and clarify!

Eternal Summer is my big canon seventh year (potentially also post-Hogwarts) multi-chapter fic. I initially posted it January 2021 through January 2022, and have since taken it down to embark on rewriting it. Despite its title, it's not summery 😅 It was initially inspired by rewatches of Gossip Girl and The Vampire Diaries, so those shows' aesthetics and tone have largely informed this fic. It's dramatic, a little dark, a little soapy, a lot smutty, etc.

The title itself comes from song lyrics, but I later realized the phrase is also in Sonnet 18, which was a very kismet thing for me. The way the phrase is used both in the song and the sonnet is to evoke nostalgia ("and if our days are numbered, we'll find eternal summer, I see it all in bright color" / "but thy eternal summer shall not fade"), and this is also how it's meant to function as a title. It's about hindsight and that feeling of a certain time (in this case, Jily's seventh year) being just the height of happiness. Though it wasn't without challenges, I see their seventh year as a really golden time for them. It was the only year Jily got to be together as a couple in Hogwarts, and it was their last year all together as friends in that way you only have in a very picturesque, insulated school environment. For this cast of characters, seventh year is an "eternal summer" in their mind that they yearn for and dream of finding again after they leave Hogwarts.

Love for the Summer is not overtly connected to ES, but is subconsciously connected, both for me and (I think) a lot of readers. I started writing LFTS in the spring/summer of 2021 when ES was updating, and it was really just an outlet for me to write plotless and indulgent fluff and smut 😂 But because we were suffering from the angst of ES at the time, it kind of felt like/was perceived as a "fix-it" fic of ES?

But that history aside, LFTS is a standalone light-hearted, fluffy, steamy, rom-com kind of fic that has allll the summery vibes. Really, it's just a place for me to indulge myself in a bunch of summery tropes with Jily being super lovey and having no drama 🥹 The title is also from a song, but this one's far less deep and is really just a summer bop.

I would say I have a harder time trusting guys because of my Biological Father (he is a narcissist), I can still get along with the guys though I just prefer to keep my distance until I know I can fully trust them and I have a pretty good relationship with my mother so that's not really an issue with the female but I will still keep my distance, I would say I have a harder time connecting with people that's doesn't share some similarities and interests.

My style depends on my mood but you can almost always see me in sweatpants, a ring on my finger and a Sports bra (at home not outside).

My personality will depend on the person but I'm usually kind and caring but standoffish to most people I don't know, with my friends I feel comfortable as I often have known them for a long time (15 to 3 years).

I have an attitude but I'm very hypersensitive and emotional though I'm a person that prefers to keep quiet about my thoughts and feelings as I try my best to avoid conflicts, I'm an introvert but if comfort enough I will talk someone's ears off.

My favourite shows are The Vampire Diaries (I was always a Klaus girl) and The Originals. I like other shows like Alice In Borderland (Personally one of my favourites as it's survival-based), Gilmore Girls and Animes.

I’m a 21+ writer who is literate and writes multi-paragraph to Novella style responses in the third person. GMT Timezone and a regular responder hoping for the same. That said, real life always comes first to me and I deeply respect my roleplay partner and their time. ❤️

I have zero limits and I’m a huge fan of angsty stories with darker themes (taboo is fine with me) but I also like fluffy scenes. I’m OOC friendly and really like sending through things like memes, songs that remind me of the characters… I can even make social media accounts/screenshots at times to add to things if the story is in a modern setting.

I love writing side characters because I truly believe friendships are just as important as the main romance.

I’m open to all sorts of plots for the below pairings. I’ve included a few tidbits but I have ideas in my head for them all. That said, I’d love to come up with something together and work as a pair to make an awesome plot. Bold is the character I want to write as.

The Umbrella Academy

- Klaus/Diego

• Open to anything here with no solid ideas. Pushing Daisies style detective drama? Commission Klaus instead of Lila? HS!AU or a Group Home concept. Together in the 60’s AU. Commission Diego or Klaus.. Up for so many things :)

- Klaus/Five

I’ve got a couple ideas for this. TW for suicide in the first!

After a safe landing into the present, things mostly go back to normal except that Klaus isn’t coping. He chooses to die and is accepted up by the Lil girl in the sky. Except that Five isn’t happy with this and goes a day back in time to stop it. Then it happens again a week later. He goes back. So on and so forth. Eventually Five realises that the best way to stop this is by giving Klaus reasons to remain.

The second idea is a loose concept with the Handler picking Klaus up and keeping him for a few years prior to her collecting Five. She moulds him into someone obedient enough to stay where he’s been put and makes him firm on the belief that leaving would be stupid. As Five joins the commission, The Handler takes him to Klaus just so he also knows that leaving would be the worst possible thing. They can spend time with each other so long as Five completes his missions. The consequences of stepping a toe out of line aren’t worth thinking about.

Bring me your ideas too! Them stuck in the 60’s together waiting for the others to land? Five ending up the same age. Forced to survive together, Five getting a job… Klaus being Klaus.

Just… Five being ‘I hate everyone but him’ and them being the definition of someone will die / of fun!

- Klaus/Axel

• A few more scattered thoughts. The Swedes being assigned to watch the Hargreeves in the 60’s and Axel being in charge of Klaus (can also do the same plot in the modern era) or a cute slice of life thing with Axel returning to the modern times and courting Klaus all old fashioned like. Open to anything:)

White Collar

- Neal Caffrey/Peter Burke

• A cat and mouse love story! Love the idea of them having a romance whilst Neal is on the run and Peter is meant to be catching him, not waking up beside him with a note next to the bed - some clue to solve. This can all eventually lead to canon time with Neal working for Peter and the tension still being there!

Doctor Who

- Clara/Twelve

Happy to set this at any point!

I’m thinking perhaps a story where Clara is travelling in her TARDIS, similar to her splinters she winds up meeting people connected to the Doctor.

May I suggest the Class gang watching a horror movie together? Wholesome friend vibes with spooky seasoning ❤️

As we know the class kids have a rough Halloween (see the creeper) I think some wholesome vibes are needed.

“Thanks for doing this with me guys,” Tanya said. “My mum banned me from going to the party.”

“Can she ban me too?” Charlie muttered, thinking of the vampire teeth April had talked him into wearing.

“What was that?” She asked.

“Nothing.”

Matteusz grinned. “You’ll be a cute vampire Charlie.”

It didn’t seem to cheer him up. Charlie only pouted more.

“So, what film are we watching?” April asked, oblivious to her best friend’s annoyance.

“Well since a certain someone hasn’t seen the classics, I thought we could start with Coraline.”

Ram made an interesting squeaking noise.

“What?”

“It’s creepy, okay?” Ram said. “For some people.”

Tanya only grinned. “Well now we’re definetly watching it.”

“Yes!” April said. “Sorry Ram, it’s my favourite too.”

Tabya covered her eyes with her hand. “Just watch out unless…”

“Ugh stop,” Ram said, flinching away.

“I’ll hold your hand,” April said.

“I haven’t seen it but it can’t be scarier than my family’s stories,” Matteusz agreed.

“Or what we’ve seen,” Charlie added. “Put it on.”

“Okay, you’re officially outvoted.”

Tanya switched on the film and switched off the lights. The eerie music of the opening credits began. They settled on the floor, a fluffy blanket over them, with Tanya between Ram and Matteusz. Despite the scary film and being sandwiched between two couples, she felt comfortable. This was her family after all.

Morgan Dante has f/m, m/m, poly, & bi stories but are mostly vampiric in nature lol they also just released a f/f with a creature that looks similar to the shape of water! (Also have read their books and I love them ❤️)

I’d have to look at who I’m following and come back for art recs ❤️

Secret Santa here! I'm most likely going to draw brilin as opposed of writing it, if that's ok with you. If it is, i was wondering if there is anything specific you would like to be included in the drawing? Your answers has given me a couple of ideas but also how do you imagine them visually? (individually and together). Like, clothes they'd wear (cuts/color palettes), visuals (for example how Tamlin is associated with roses) or even fancasts for them? Also do you prefer something canon-compliant or AU? I'm also ok with drawing either SFW or NSFW, depending on what you would prefer 🥰

I don't have a fancast in mind for Briar. (Ever since I saw this version by @vivictory-draws I've been spoiled to imagine her that way, flowered bodice and all.) Mostly I just picture her with long, straight black hair, brown eyes, etc. I don't picture Tamlin as any particular actor either, except I did imagine similarities between him and early 90s Brad Pitt in his "Interview with the Vampire" and "Legends of the Fall" era. His hair was GLORIOUS. Also, the animated version of Alucard from Netflix’s Castlevania gave me major Tamlin vibes the first time I saw him. I don’t know what your style is, so I’m just throwing things out there.

I love Tamlin in green (it goes with his eyes), and I imagine Briar would choose red or a rosy pink for herself. I don’t know enough about clothes to suggest any particular style or cut. Medieval-ish??? Tunics are mentioned in canon, as well as “gowns”, but when it comes to specific eras I am a bit lost. Feel free to follow up with another ask if you want me to weigh in on specifics.

In terms of setting, I prefer the fairy tale nature of Prythian to something modern, myself. But I wouldn't say no to a holiday theme! Like kissing under the mistletoe, sitting on “Santa’s” lap, etc. There's very little I would say no to, especially since this is a gift. ❤️

I would say keep it to SFW for now, but since I don’t know your style, I don't want to impede on your creativity. I am more comfortable with SFW for a holiday gift, but I look forward to seeing your catalog of work once this event is over! 😊

When it comes to poses, I'll let you choose. If it gives you ideas, though, I've seen some ACOTAR fanart lately that uses famous paintings as poses: Gustav Klimt’s “The Kiss”, Frank Dicksee’s “Romeo and Juliet”, his version of “La Belle Dame Sans Merci”, anything by Alphonse Mucha, etc. I also like near kisses and quiet, intimate moments, but again, I’m not picky.

also lol, this is definitely a weird take but i use the vampire emoji for erik because it’s the closest emoji in the person category i have emulate his character, or at least his vibe. definitely an odd take, and there are the rose & mask emojis but i dunno, the lil vampire emoji makes me think of him! okay that’s all 😂

i guess that begs the question, are there any emojis besides the rose and theatre mask that you associate with phantom?

*I'll often hear a song and think "ooh that's Phantom-y" - whether because it sounds like something from the musical or something Erik would play on the organ (I mean I'm sure everyone associates Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor with POTO, right??), or because of the vibe/lyrics. A couple less obvious examples I can think of is that "Youngblood" by 5 Seconds of Summer gives me strong E/C final lair vibes, and "Freaking Me Out" by Ava Max inspired a short literal-Angel of Music phic I wrote a while ago 🎵

*My favorite melody from POTO is Angel of Music because I am E/C trash 😆 I just love the Mirror and Wandering Child and then how Christine brings it back in the final lair ❤️ And that solo violin during Angel of Music with Christine and Meg? *chefs kiss* 👌

*Some of my favorite holiday traditions (I celebrate Christmas) would be decorating the tree, watching Christmas movies, and sending cards. My husband and I also do the pickle ornament on the tree! 🥒🎄 (It's just for pride, there's no special present involved.)
