So. Apparently halfas are like phoenixes or something, which Danny would’ve really liked to know.

See, usually with ghosts if they’re forced to retreat to their cores they reform as was, but apparently, since they’re still partially living, schrodinger's people and all that, halfas have to regrow their body from scratch. At least that’s what he’s understanding from Frostbite.

But how come he has to deal with it? It’s Dan’s fault for trying to pull such a stunt! Oh, it’s either him or Vlad? Well fuck, he might have calmed down and is going to therapy in both the living realm and the Zone, but he’s waaay not equipped to raise a child except for like, monetarily wise.

Well dammit, how long will this core incubation thing last, he has his new job in… let him check which offer he accepted again… He has his new job in Coast City that he needs to finish packing for and then all the rest of the stuff to do.

What do you mean it’ll take months?! He doesn’t have months?! Urgh, fine. At least being a mortician isn’t that exciting, nor dangerous. Just hand him Dan’s core and he’ll figure things out for the living side of things. He’s sure Tucker and Sam wouldn’t be against helping, if only to try and claim favorite aunt or uncle spots.

been staunchly avoiding typing too much on most of these but i have some thoughts about this one!

you know... i had actually never even considered kirby for the shipaganza. mostly because i think of him as holding such a strong and unique position in the hearts of everyone who knows him, in a way that is devout but also seems fairly romance-free. and i'm actually very interested in the complex relationships that he has with his friends! but i wonder if not considering him was maybe a disservice, because if anyone has an abundance of the capacity for love, it's him, right?

i think that kirby could eventually occupy a similar heart-space for starstruck as bandee, though it would take longer. i strongly suspect that bandee's love of kirby would rub off on her, if nothing else.

i'm not sure either of them... really understand the premise of romance or dating, so it might not be a typical sort of thing. but i think they could giggle and laugh together and shoot each other slightly smitten looks when the other one isn't paying attention, and be very invested in each others happiness.

he adds a pass by her window to his early morning flight, on the off chance she might be up to join him. she's always thinking of him when he's off saving the world, and distinguishes his star from all the others in the sky with ease. the irresistible allure of adventure vs someone who has never seen any of the wonders of your planet before. someone who finds as much unrestrained joy and delight in the mundane as you do. eating paper cups you find on the ground.

I often think about the promo pictures that prime used and how they didn’t actually happen in the movie. But this particular one for the “now” promo, we can almost connect this to the movie except for one thing. This was obviously from the piano room scene and i think they did the forehead touch after they got up from the staircase but it bugs me out that alex’s jacket doesn’t match!!! He was wearing a leather jacket at first but got changed into a jacket similar to the one he wore in the campfire scene.

Another one are these pictures, at first i thought they are for the royal courtship photos lol but immediately doubted bc alex is just wearing a tshirt? lmao. But i think the bench pics was supposed to be similar to the phone call scene in alex’s bedroom. Where henry’s supposed to info dump alex w his dorian gray brainrot (them in the bench thru phone call) but got cut out.

And of course these ones… when they first came out, i was especially excited and expected to see them running around the palace/white house stealing kisses on the hallways etc etc lol what a dream!! But also the outfits don’t follow and unfortunately they’re all just for promo purposes.

Still, i think the last two pics are very great concepts. I can’t look at these pics without thinking about the song “i can see you” by taylor swift bc it’s clearly written for them.

I feel like the fandom is sleeping on the 2023 live-action Jigen Daisuke movie.

Do you want to see Jigen very confidently state "I can't stand kids, they irritate me", then proceed to lay his entire life down for a traumatized little girl?

Do you want to watch him wreck a bunch of assassin's shits with only his hands and a table?

Do you want to see some actual real-life badass fight scenes that we never see in the anime because it would cost a fortune to animate?

Do you want to watch Jigen actually get his time to shine and show off not only badass gun fighting skills but also brilliant strategy?

Do you want to see a very gay florist who for some reason isn't in fact Lupin in disguise?

Do you want to see a kickass old lady gunsmith who for all intents and purposes has basically adopted Jigen?

Do you want to watch him fight back actual tears on TWO (2) separate occasions?

Do you want to see him fully adopt a child like seriously I cannot stress enough how wholesome his relationship with Oto is I actually melted into a puddle of feels several times

Then WATCH THE MOVIE PLEASE I promise it's really good!

Also Tetsuji Tamayama is very very handsome
