so confused why there’s people insisting that dazai couldn’t have known about chuuya’s trick until the elevator scene or until he shot him because like…are we talking about the same dazai here?? the same guy who says shit like this
there’s no way he’d be fooled, he knows the real chuuya too well. idk if he knew chuuya would come to meursault but once he showed up dazai definitely saw through the entire act immediately
