Anon: Hello! How about Geralt x fem!reader where the reader is Geralt’s wife, together trhey have a daughter(pretend that it’s possible :P). I imagine Geralt as a protective dad, who doesn’t want his daughter to get hurt. Maybe their daughter has a crush on a someone from town.

The fire was casting a warm glow around the room. Outside the sound of an axe coming down on wood could be heard. I looked at the pile of chopped wood next to the fireplace, there was enough for two days. But Geralt always chopped wood when he was frustrated.
Diana was asleep in her little room tired from playing in the snow with her friends. When I tucked her in she whispered to me that she had a crush on a boy from the village. She knew her dad could hear many things humans couldn't hear. But she didn't know the extent of his adhancements. I only replied that that was normal and we would talk about it in the morning and kissed her goodnight. I closed the door of her room. I could already feel the tension in the house. Sighing I walked towards the kitchen/common room.
Geralt was already pulling his boots on and he was out the door. I flinched as he slammed the door shut. In these moments I knew he needed to have some time for himself.
Being his wife for years I knew all his moods and since Diana was born this one happened quite frequently since we moved at the edge of a little town that was almost a village. He was very protective over her, we both were. She actually came as a surprise. But because my blood was from a witch and a human it still happened. He slowed down with hunting. Most of the money came from my healing potions and our food from hunting or farmers.
I poked around in the fire removing a few burning logs to make the fire smaller.
I had fallen asleep trying to wait for Geralt. The movement of the blankets and fur woke me up. The room was still dark. I felt his arm wrap around my waist. I felt his breathing at the back of my neck.
“She won't get hurt.” I broke the silence.
His arm around me tightend. I could almost hear his thoughts. I turned around in his arms. I caressed the side of his face. I could only make out the sharpest features. He let out a deep sigh. I could imagine the pained expression on his face.
Geralt became possessive over me and Diana sometimes. Actually quite a few. But I knew why. All the years of loss, pain and not showing his emotions made him afraid to lose a the great things in his life.
“We can't protect her from emotional pain and struggles. We can only give her the love she needs and learn her things about the world. To do that she also has to go outside.”
Geralt grunted. “We could also lock her up in a tower.” His deep voice sounded kinda loud through the quiet room. I huffed. “And you’ll be the dragon?” I said with a teasing smile. I could feel his mood getting a little bit better. “One day she will grow up and be as strong as we are. I mean her mother is a witch and her father a witcher.” I continued.
He buried his face in the crook of my neck. “I still don't like it. No boy is good enough for our child.”
I rolled my eyes and laughed. If I had as good as an eyesight as my husband I just knew I would see him pouting.
