this is messy but i had to scribble it down before i forgot it.

bad-end fireteam shitstorm! they're doomed to fail in every timeline, but some are worse than others. they got off easy in the 'canon' one.

atticus finally succumbs to the darkness after losing everything, even his ghost, in spite of trying to save them all, and dies screaming madness into an apathetic sky.

wolf gets taken in the dreaming city and his ghost is destroyed in the process. he haunts dark corners alone, a shadow in the shape of who he once was, until another guardian finds him.

amelia falls to her death in an abyss where the dark is too deep for her ghost to save her. he sits alone, lost and forgotten, gathering moon dust until his light finally fades away.
