This is how I decorate now and intend to at my new place. If you want to see a pic with non coloured lighting to get a clearer idea: no. I always use my coloured lights and my lamp is very orange tinted. I love yellowy beige as a neutral colour but I've wanted a green living room for a long time. My bf (who will be living there) is voting for the yellow but says that all design choices are MINE 😈

Breakfast from the coffeeshop further down the road. Mum had her Braised Duck Porridge (卤鸭粥) with extra skinless duck meat. The porridge is given a huge boost in flavours with a ladle or two of the fragrant braising sauce. Mum bought Bak Chor Mee (肉脞面) or minced meat noodles for sis. She opted for mee pok (面薄) which is flat yellow noodles.

As for me, mum got me Vegetarian Rice with four dishes. From the left, eggplant & long beans stir-fry, curry mock mutton, sweet & sour mock pork and vegetables omelette over white rice.

And it is back to just me and mum having dinner. So we get the usual one pot Noodles Soup (汤面) with pork ribs, yong tau foo (酿豆腐) and plenty of lettuces to go with. Mum also added some black fungus to the standard stuffed bitter gourd, eggplant and bean curd puff & skin.
