#the setting I admit could be a good place for a story if it wasn't...you know...disgusting
Note
CROSSOVER NEXT PART WHEN please
So this next update is the BIG FINALE and as such it is... uh... really long. There's a lot of extra characters in the story (because I am DEAD SET on having an Avengers Endgame moment lol) so that means extra introductions and explanations for a few and etc. etc. etc.
Remember the last really long update I gave? The one that was over 7000 words? I crossed over that mark a while ago, and I'm only ONE THIRD OF THE WAY THROUGH.
yeh,,,
It's a big update, so it's taking a while.

"...Very well, then," rhg!Donnie exhaled, finally admitting defeat. "In that case, I'm not sure I know how to tend to 'mystic' injuries."
"I got it," Ghost volunteered, searching in the first aid for anything especially sparkly or glowing. That would be a good sign. After some rummaging, he managed to procure some mystic cream and began to salve the cuts and sores.
rhg!Donnie watched with interest and concern. He studied the label for future reference. He memorized the patterns in which Ghost anointed the child. He took internal photographs of the angles and shapes of Mikey's scars... and prayed that he would never have to see them on his baby brother back home. He had been concerned that this was the same Mikey he'd met earlier... they looked very much alike upon first glance. But after closer inspection, he saw that they had some differences. The scars were obvious. But this one was younger, and much smaller. Not just shorter, but skinnier too. He looked a lot like his brother in that sense. As for the Leon beside him -- the one that kept giving rhg!Donnie dirty side glances -- he looked like his twin brother. Except bald. No sign of the beautiful and soft hair that rhg!Dee used to braid and style for him before he'd left. He was frightfully thin, too. A thick scarf surrounded his neck to help insulate the miniscule amount of warmth his body could provide. rhg!Donnie happened to glance over at him when he didn't expect it, and saw him pocket a few extra medical supplies, subconsciously stuffing them into his pants. There were quite a few things already in his pockets, rhg!Dee realized. This kid was a thief. Not that it bothered him, he and his Leo had been sneaky like that on more than one occasion. District 12 wasn't a very generous place to live.
rhg!Donnie found himself reaching for his hand the next time he went to snatch something. Not so much to stop him as to simply just... hold something that was so similar to his brother. He knew he wouldn't get a chance like this again for a long time. If ever. It might be stupid, but for a moment he wanted to pretend that this was his Leo. It worked for half a moment, he could almost see his brother here in the room with him.
Leon turned to him as he grabbed his hand, wide-eyed in surprise before realizing that he'd been caught.
"Oh... Old habits die hard, I guess," he explained, sheepishly dropping the tube of ointment he'd taken.
"Next time, try it like this," rhg!Donnie whispered, showing him how to take the tube with better efficiency, while simultaneously distracting the victim while you repurposed their possessions. But he got the feeling this teen already knew all the tricks of the trade.
Leon smiled weakly at him.
"Thanks, but... well, there's not really supposed to be a 'next time'," he explained, while looking back at DvD and 'Phael. "I kinda have a family now... and a home."
"Congratulations," rhg!Donnie said, hoping the genuine delight that this Leon had his family all around him came through, despite the monotonous tone in his voice.
"The kleptomania just sorta... flares up when I'm stressed," he mumbled. "When I feel like I'm not safe. I take stuff so I can pretend that I have everything I might need in an emergency." He laughed as he pulled out all the band-aids and alcohol wipes and gauze from his pockets. "I don't even know what I'd do with half of this stuff!"
"It's better to have most of this than not," rhg!Donnie mentioned, taking half of the pile and stuffing them into his own pockets, despite knowing that if he were to be portalled home again the items wouldn't be going with him. "Just in case..."

The bakery is a front....right? PART 4
Dedicated to @foxy-tea. Thank you for your lovely words!
Danny didn't want to do it, but he had to admit that his mating season peak had arrived and could not work in that condition. It wasn't that Danny was like a cat in heat, wanting to engage in intercourse all the time.
No, his body craved a life partner and a child to smother in fierce paternal love. It was a bit worse if you asked him. If he just manwhore his way through the city over three months, well, they would just whisper about how easy he was.
A bit embarrassing but not uncommon for someone with Danny's good looks.
Instead, his mating season made him a would-be kidnapper.
He had to physically slam a hot pot of coffee on his hand a week ago when a customer had walked in with a baby, and Phantom had tried to leap over the counter to take the babbling bundle of joy as his own.
Not to mention how Phantom reacted to some of his youngest delivery employees. He hadn't realized he was mumbling "Mine. mine. mine. mine. mine" while approaching Manolo for his latest delivery until Peter had stepped into his path with the dirtiest glare Danny had ever seen.
The punch to his throat hadn't knocked the wind out of him- since Phantom had stopped his breathing three days prior - but it was enough to get Danny out of the daydreams of tucking Manolo into bed after a cup of tea and a bedtime story.
We could teach him to bake. We can teach him to ride a bike. We can sit through all his school performances, no matter how bad they are. We could be his dad. Phantom had cried as Manolo had thrown himself between Peter and Danny, his little arms spread wide to protect him. Let me have the child! Manolo is mine! He's mine to love, mine to protect!
Danny had never had such trouble getting Phantom to settle.
In seconds, Peter was quickly surrounded by Andres' friends and the rest of Danny's staff. He had taken a fighter position, looking around like an animal about to maul its victims while Danny wrestled with himself to get control.
He and Phantom are not two separate personalities fighting for control but one person with conflicting instincts.
One of a human's most basic instincts is self-preservation. A ghost's most basic instinct is self-fulfillment.
Danny did not want things to become a free-for-all where someone could get hurt. Phantom tried to fight them all to claim the kids under his protection.
Thankfully, everything was deescalated by Jazz's timely arrival. Danny couldn't really remember what she had done (too busy struggling to hold himself as a human and not go ghost to become the most excellent dad to ever dad). Still, if there was one gift Jazz had, it was being able to reason with spirits about their obsessions.
If she could convince beings whose entire existence depended on being stubborn about a particular subject, she could persuade humans of anything.
Peter had been allowed to leave with no injuries, and even two days paid off, while the rest had realized that the man had just acted out of PTSD due to what Jazz called "projecting trauma in safe settings."
There were a lot of people in this area that understood what PTSD episodes did to them and had not faulted Petter. Manolo even gave Peter a small crocheted fox to help him overcome the fear.
(Danny had given the small fox plushy to Manolo when the kid first arrived at his bakery, proclaiming it had a protective spell to keep fear away. He had yet to be aware the boy carried around with him.)
Jazz had then taken Danny to his apartment, where she had placed him in quarantine. She had been informed by Frost Bite during their bi-weekly mentor/protegee meetings- Jazz was studying under the Yeti in Ghost Psychology- that Danny's Peak had arrived. Danny would jack up his "I need to be a dad" and "I need to be a husband" urges to Fruitloop levels.
Danny would try to force someone into that role if he was around humans or ghosts, even if it was against their will. Ugh, he would be a Vlad 2.0 for a full two weeks!
He could not risk himself around others. So with a heavy heart, he informed his employees he would be stepping away for a two-week long vacation and had made it seem like he left on a plane to visit Jazz overseas.
His staff would take care of the bakery for him, but it saddened Danny he could not be there to help with things. He then sealed off all entries to his apartment and informed the residents of the Ghost zone he was in, "Mating Peak retreat," so no one would bother him past a few already mated servants of the Ghost King.
They would bring him supplies and requests through a no-contact portal once he ordered them through a magical catalog. It was like online shopping for ghosts.
Danny now had to wait two weeks for this to finally go away, and he could go about his ordinary daily life of being perfectly dead and alive. Until it happened again the following year.
Elli told him to be grateful it was only a yearly thing, not a monthly deal. He shuddered at the mere thought of experiencing this every month.
Done! Phantom cheers snapping Danny back to reality. In his hands are a pair of freshly crocheted booties. He hadn't even been aware he was making them.
They look great, Danny tells Phantom, turning them in his hands to smile at the giant sunflowers on each side. A button was used as the center of the flowers, and Phantom even included a few lace designs around them to look like leaf vines.
They are based on the park's flowers.
The park?
Yes, the park where you promised to take me today! Phantom goes from calmly talking to screaming, and Danny winces.
You know I can't go outside. You'll just try to steal a child from the park.
I would never forget to also steal a wife or husband!
Danny sighs, rubbing his face knowing he was telling himself that forgetting a spouse was worse than the idea of kidnapping people. He places the booties on top of an ever-growing pile. Since his quarantine has begun, Danny has made about two hundred pairs of various styles, sizes, and colors.
Danny looks around at the piles and piles of other of his crocheting projects. He's got sweaters, scarves, gloves, socks, hats, beanies, and even blazers for various genders, ages, and styles meant to help with the coldest winter. He could adequately dress his whole street and still have some left over.
All prepared for his nonexisting family.
He has been making them at the same speed he can fly, i.e., 200 mph. He's made some yarn dealers in the zone extremely wealthy. He can't help it, though. Danny has frozen every inch of his apartment too far too cold levels for an average human without proper wear.
He's been working fast because his human mind knew that the cold was terrible for his lover and children, so it wanted to keep them nice and warm. While his ghost side added layers of snow to the floor and ice to the walls, he even made decorative ice sculptures that he desperately reorganized again and again to find the perfect balance of the cold. Only his electronics were not frozen over, so even his furniture had layers of ice- some with designs to make them look fancier.
He's also cooked up a storm in preparation for feeding his family. Only to realize a spouse and kids were not coming, thus forcing him to donate his meals to the ghost delivery people. They were ever so happy to have five-course meals shoved at them just for bringing the king more yarn.
Danny throws himself face-first into the pile of snow from his couch, allowing the softness to cushion his fall. There is a terrible itch under the skin. It's begging him to leave to find someone to kiss and worship. Unwillingly, Alvin's face appears in his mind before he turns over and stares at his ceiling. He's made all the constellations into small carvings on the ice. I can't go outside. I can watch another movie or make more bagels instead.
Watching another romance movie won't bring me a mate! Phantom hisses.
I know but-
Suddenly Danny senses flair as someone crosses over his wards. Sitting up in alarm, Danny makes a break for his room as even more people join the first and break into his guest room through a window. Not that he can't take whoever they are, but if he comes face to face with them-well, Danny thinks he may keep them.
That's not something he's willing to risk.
Phantom is already throwing out some severe pheromones that would likely infatuate them to Danny, babbling about this being their chance. Four adults- spouses!- and a child- a son or daughter!- have entered their main haunt. They had to give them food and warm clothes and cuddle them until they never left!
No!
He can't force them to stay!
He had to make them stay even if it meant chaining them!
No, they would be miserable!
Phantom could make them happy forever!
The effort to stay in his human control took so much effort Danny started to aggressively twitch as he fumbled with the hidden room in the back of an old wardrobe. He's breathing heavily, trying to get his blurry vision to focus so he can open the darn thing and get in. Finally, it does, and Danny just barely closes it when a figure bursts through the door.
He watches through a small crack as the figure carefully looks over his frozen domain. It's one of the vigilantes. Red Robin.
What is he doing here?
The man walks into his room, leaving behind disruptive snow that goes up his ankles.
Thank the Ancients, his footprints do not appear in his own snow. Otherwise, a perfect trail would lead the hero straight to him. Instead, he watches with a hand over his mouth as Red Robin carefully searches his room.
Danny cuts off his need to breathe as the sound would give him away. Still, he's twitching so much that he's practically shaking as the hero carefully breaks the ice over his drawers and pulls out his clothes in quick, careful movements.
Go away. Go away. Go away. Danny thinks desperately. He should have tried calling someone. Jazz. Ellie. Even his parents or Vlad!
None of them would cause his instincts to want to force them to play house- though he would likely still try to imprison them since he would like to protect them non the less.
But they could at least do something and get the poor vigilante somewhere safe!
Never leave. Never leave. Never leave. Phantom purrs, and oh no, an intense burst of pheromones is sent through the room. Red Robin freezes; from what little Danny can see of his face, it's flushed red, and gosh, he wants to smother that man in so much love-
"Guys, I think I came in contact with the drug," Red Robin pants after pressing his hand to his ear. "I don't know how, but I am definitely feeling something. Think it's airborne, but not sure."
He doesn't finish his sentence before Redhood and Nightwing are suddenly in his room. Nightwing has a gas mask over his face while Red Hood swings a gun around the room, looking for a target.
Danny almost whines at the gentle way Nightwing helps Red Robin into a sitting position. He's looking him over with such loving protection that he- that Danny- Phantom wants him- wants a husband-!
"Shit," Red Hood hisses, body pushing back as if some strong wind had hit him. "Yeah, it's definitely in this room. Felt a bit of it, even with my built-in filters. Wing?"
"Did the room get colder?" Nightwing asks as he helps Red Robbin to his feet. The other man seems to be feeling better with his gas mask, but he must still be effect by Phantom's pheromones.
"The wardrobe." Red Robin gasps, pointing unknowingly right at Danny. "The ice around it is getting bigger. And...it's leaking."
What? Danny looks down only to see in horror a knocked-over jar of fresh ectoplasm. He hadn't even been aware he had broken the thing when he crawled here.
The jars were the ones that he gathered with Jazz and Ellie after a three-day foraging trip. All ghosts were made of Ecoplasim, but just like you couldn't stick blood into someone without being comparable, you couldn't use any random ectoplasm for other people- humans or ghosts.
It had to be some of the purest natural kind, not linked to any type of beings, like a river of ectoplasm or the frozen pillars in the farthest parts of the Far Frozen. Giving someone ectoplasm from one's body could taint them in the donator's obsession.
Yes, Danny could make more people protective of each other, but it would likely cause them to be Fruitloop-level protective. They just didn't have the filter like he did to not go mad.
That pure kind was now leaking out of his hiding place and into the white snow of his main lair.
Danny only has a second to panic before the door is wrenched open, and he falls into a stunned Red Robin.
He goes limp from the shock as Phantom purrs, settling in his mind now that he's pressed against a possible mate. Like Danny said, it's not intercourse his ghost side is after, it's close contact, and this is enough to satisfy it.
"Shit, it's Danny. He-he's not breathing, and he's ice cold. I think he's de-dead." Red Robin says in what sounds like tears.
No. My husband is sad. Danny and Phantom think, a terrible pulse of pain bursting across his chest. He can't get his body to move to offer comfort, though. It's been a whole week since he last saw someone in person, and this is so nice. Why did he ever fight this instinct? It felt so good to give in.
He could stay in Red Robin's arms forever.
Red Robin was never going to see the clear sky again. He was never leaving this apartment.
"I found something," Red Hood's voice is behind him. "It looks like it is Lazarus' water, but it's clearer. I think this is our drug. Danny must have ODed."
"No! He can't- we have to do something!" Red Robin cries, and Danny slumps further against him like a broken doll. He's not blinking. Blinking is for humans. Danny isn't a human.
His unfocused eyes stare at wherever Red Robin has him positioned to look.
"There is nothing we can do, Red Robin," A new voice says though not unkindly. Phantom doesn't turn his head but can see Batman walk up behind Red Robin, wearing his gas mask. He places his hand on the trembling vigilante. "You need to put him down."
"No!" Phantom purs as the arms around his shoulders bring them closer to his husband's body.
"It's too late for him, Drake. We can only honor his death."
That....that was a voice of a child. A child is in his main haunt.
Phantom wails in joy.
He gets out of his husband's arms, leaping over Batman, and his arms are around a boy in red, green, and yellow. Phantom smothers his face against the hood covering the boy's head, and short sobs rank his body. "My baby! You're my baby!"
"Unhand me!" His little grunts slamming a knife into Phantom's side, but that doesn't matter because Phantom has his son and his husband in his nest.
A bullet harmlessly passes through his forehead after a loud bang, creating a hole in Phantom's wall. He'll take care of that after he smothers his baby in cuddles.
Nightwing swings a baton at Phantom, but that, too, passes through his body without harm.
"Shit! Danny put him down!"
Huh, was that Sam?
"Danny, I mean it. Drop him!"
Oh, Tucker too!
"Daniel Fenton, you let that boy go right now!" Jazz sounded upset. Maybe she should hold his baby. "Are you listening to me?"
"Danny is not here right now." He hears his body say.
"Ohhhhh. That's not good. Okay, Danny time for a nap!" Ellie flies into his face, her hand glowing green and he has a moment to gasp at the betrayal before she blasts him.
He drops, knowing no more.

once again alessia found herself sat alone in the same cafe as last time, profound deja vu setting in. her leg was bouncing anxiously and her eyes flickered to the door every few seconds, nervous you'd not show despite having been the one to extend the invitation to her.
but this time alessia knew she was early, having been far too worried about what you might actually have to say to her that she'd shown up a whole forty minutes before your agreed meet up time.
having sat in her car for the last twenty five she'd ventured inside, waiting until it was five minutes before you'd hopefully show to order your coffees, remembering what you had gotten last time and crossing her fingers it was what you'd want again.
her body relaxed the moment you walked inside, raising her hand as you spotted her, the blonde cursing to herself at the awkward gesture as you sat across from her with a smile, seemingly quite relaxed which alessia didn't know if it was a good thing or a bad.
"is this mine?" you asked gesturing to the iced coffee in front of you as the blonde nodded, rambling out that she hoped it was right and that if it wasn't she could easily get you another. "hey, alessia breathe. this is my regular order, it could be two degrees and i'd still get an iced coffee." you joked.
the two of you made some polite small talk, alessia asking about your week as you enquired about hers. the two of you swapping a few stories and a laugh before you decided to put her out of her misery, easily sensing her obvious nerves for why you'd asked her to meet with you in the first place.
which you could hardly blame her for given how your last conversation had gone, and it had taken you a lot of thinking to actually move past that.
"so i obviously asked you to coffee for a reason." you started, alessia nodding as she finished the last mouthful of her drink, setting the empty glass aside.
"i know that the last time we spoke was a bit...tense?" you smiled awkwardly, as one does when the last time you're present in front of someone you scream at them about your dead dad and then promptly collapse into a disgusting sobbing mess.
"and i appreciate you giving me the space that i asked for." you thanked her softly. "there's obviously a lot of history with us alessia and its not something either of us can or should forget, the good and the bad alike." you continued, the blonde across from you twisting her rings around her fingers, clearly still apprehensive about what you might say but listening intently.
"i won’t lie i was so incredibly angry with you for a really long time. and i was hurt and upset and i didn't understand why you did what you did or why you thought i’d have not supported you from the beginning.” you continued, alessia accepting your words with a nod.
“it took me even longer to actually come to terms with my pain and start to move past the anger because it didn’t do me any good, leaving it and you behind. i remember when you won the euros i was grateful to be living overseas because i don’t know how i’d have coped seeing your face plastered everywhere when i had been trying my best to move on with my life.” you were perhaps a little blunt in your words but the blonde across from you appreciated the honesty.
“i got over the breakup a lot faster than i actually got over losing you. i may have lashed out at you about it but you weren’t wrong, we were a huge part of each others lives for a long time before we dated. and i think i felt like once I moved past losing you as a partner, it hurt more to grieve the actual history and years of friendship and that immense bond we had before which was just suddenly gone.” you admitted quietly, a flash of pain glancing across both yours and alessia’s faces momentarily as the blonde was briefly plagued by the memory of her own feelings toward the loss.
“but look i think there is some merit in saying that people change. and i can see that you're making an effort to try and show me that's not who you are anymore." you noted, pausing for a second to collect your thoughts.
"i still feel that the kiss was a mistake, and that it can't and won't happen again. i’ve moved past those feelings for you and i just can’t risk being hurt like that again.” you remanded softly, alessia's stomach clenching at the memory of your lips on hers but she made sure this was disguised, nodding along. unbeknownst to her all of this was also playing on your mind, but you’d shoved deep down how good it felt to lean into the feeling of her lips on yours in favour of not ever wanting to be so let down again, you had your walls up for a reason and you’d learned to protect yourself as best you could.
"but you were right, we do both live here now and its obvious our mums are clearly back in one anothers lives again so we are going to have to interact regardless. so, i guess what i'm trying to say is that i'm open to trying to be friends again." you revealed, alessia's eyebrows shooting upward unable to disguise the obvious surprise on her face at your words.
"but slowly. i still have a lot of trust issues after everything, and they don't just go away overnight." you warned as alessia nodded furtively, clearly trying to hold back the grin which you could see tugging at the corners of her mouth.
"okay." the blonde breathed out, biting her bottom lip to stifle her smile as you shook your head with a smile of your own. "okay?" you chuckled, sipping on the last of your coffee.
"okay. yeah this is good, this will be good. but slowly! i can do slowly." alessia nodded, more as if to reassure herself than you as you hummed. "and just friends less, that other chapter is closed now and i don't want to open it again." you cautioned gently, aware that obviously all of this would be triggering things for her too, not just within you.
"i understand. like i said, i've missed you. to have you back in any capacity is more than i deserve, thank you." alessia admitted quietly with a shy smile, her heart admittedly pounding. again there was the soft vulnerable shy side of her you’d rarely seen growing up, and it was obvious that in her maturity there’d been some changes to her once almost aggressively over confident demeanour.
but between this opportunity that alessia been presented to have you back in her life coupled with the fact you'd just not called her by her full name without correcting yourself, she was quite the happy mess.
"to friendship." alessia lifted her empty glass with a grin causing you to laugh. "really?" you raised an eyebrow in amusement as alessia nodded and gestured for you to do the same. "it's empty! its bad luck to cheers with an empty glass.” you accused pointing to her finished coffee with a roll of your eyes.
"there's some...watery coffee like liquid left." the striker peered into her glass with a wince, the two of you sharing a look and a wide smile.
"fine, to friendship." you knocked your glass into hers, downing the last mouthful of your coffee as the blonde sipped the few milimetres of melted ice left in her own, grimacing in disgust.
"so, how do we um…do this?"
~
walking into training that afternoon there was seldom a thing someone could have said to wipe the shit eating grin off of alessia's face.
she was always known to be a positive person by nature, never unkind or rude to any of the staff or her team, always yelling out encouragement during drills or games, cracking jokes or messing about with the girls who she was closer to.
however to those same girls it was also not hard to see that today there was very obviously an extra bit of pep in the young lionesses step as she sauntered into the cafeteria for lunch, flashing around a toothy grin.
"you're even more chipper than usual less. have a good morning?" lotte questioned with a surprised smile as alessia sat down with her tray of food, humming in agreement. "would you like to elaborate?" lotte chuckled picking at her chicken as vic sat down followed closely by katie and caitlin.
"russo! you're glowin today. have a cheeky midnight rendezvous did we?" katie teased as alessia's face blushed bright red which vac wasted no time teasing her about, pinching at her cheeks as alessia shoved her off with a playful roll of her eyes.
"no. just caught up with an old friend for coffee." alessia explained with a shrug, shoveling a mouthful of food in as lotte narrowed her eyes slightly. "not..." she trailed off with an insinuating look as alessia avoided her eyes.
"oh less." lotte sighed, shaking her head as she picked at her food. "not the ex missus from the bar?" katie caught on quickly with a shocked look, alessia hissing for her to be quiet and smacking her arm across the table.
"an ex girlfriend? you like girls? why am i the last to know about this?" vic scoffed in offence shoving the blonde beside her. "cause you chose not to come out that night! russo here got beyond blind pissed and called her ex missus who had to come and pick her up, and the poor girl was not happy about it." katie caught the dutch girl up as caitlin shoved her, nodding to alessia with a firm warning look.
"oh was that private information? sorry less." katie winced slightly as vic rounded on alessia with a hundred questions. "okay fine i'll tell you! just shut up for five seconds." alessia huffed at the shorter girls persistence who immediatley went quiet, all four girls now looking to the blonde for an explanation.
so with twenty minutes left before they were expected into the gym, alessia opened up about almost everything between you and her, well as much as she was willing to share with her friends anyway.
"christ russo, you planned on leavin without even tellin her? harsh. i'd have dumped ya too, and kicked your arse!" katie whistled, caitlin stomping on her foot with a firm look at her girlfriends inability to clearly read the vibe of a room.
suddenly the training staff called for everyone to head toward the gym as the girls stood, alessia appreciating the forced cut off of their previous conversation as they all dumped their trays and split up to head off out of the cafeteria.
"i stand by what i said early on, are you sure this is a good idea? that you're able to be just friends with her? that break up had you really not okay for a long time less." lotte questioned softly, eyes shining with care for the younger girl.
"look i can't answer that right now. but i would rather have her in my life as a friend than nothing at all. she’s been my best mate since we were five lotte and we've spent too long apart, i miss her." alessia admitted with a sigh, lotte nodding in understanding, pulling her into a tight side hug before they were split up for drills.
~
"oh look what’s come crawling out of its cave, it lives!" your older brother harry teased as he opened the door and let you in, causing you to shove him with a roll of your eyes. "hello stranger." your older sister lilly called out from the sofa causing you to groan in annoyance.
"sorry i have a life outside of mooching off mums cooking and fully stocked up cupboards." you retorted back, shrugging off your jacket and hanging it up by the door.
"they're not here yet." harry added as you glanced toward the backyard where several people littered about. alessia hadn’t been wrong your mum had organised another get together with the russo’s, however of course being the hostess with the mostess she had also invited several of her other friends and their families along too.
“why are you both hiding out in here then?” you chuckled, wandering into the kitchen and shaking your head at the amount of prepped food, enough to feed twice the amount of people. though it would mean you could likely steal some leftovers for your work lunches this week and that was a promising thought.
“i’m taking a break from all the polite small talk and lil’s sick of people touching her tummy.” harry chuckled nodding to your pregnant sister who nodded in agreement. “how is my little niece or nephew doing?” you grinned happily, thumping yourself down beside her and looking at your sister with hopeful eyes as your brother ventured back outside.
“i already told you we’re not finding out the gender until the baby comes, nor will i be revealing any names!” your sister warned making you groan in annoyance, giving her a pout to which she just playfully shoved your head away.
“buzzkill. where’s oli then?” you asked, unable to spot your sisters husband anywhere. “work. he’s taken up every second weekend to try and help us save for the little one.” lily patted her stomach. “you know for some extra money we could capitolise on you being pregnant. i’m sure thats like a fetish or something somewhere.” you shrugged casually as your sister looked at you like you had four heads.
“i’m not even going to dignify that with a response god you are so weird!” your sister shook her head as you only grinned. “so how was your date then? i don’t see a ring!” she teased as you rolled your eyes. “is there anyone mum didn’t tell?” you huffed in annoyance at the ever meddling behaviours of her. “please you know her hairdresser, the market attendant and her nail lady are all rooting for you to find a husband or a wife soon.” that caused both of you to break out into a laugh.
“i date all the genders and yet here i am the only single sibling. i’m honestly shocked mums not tried to set me up with someone or sell me off like a prized cow yet.” you rolled your eyes with a smile.
“oh believe me she’s open to it! but you’re lucky she’s so gullible because i personally know you didn’t go on a date, you were just avoiding alessia.” lily quirked an eyebrow knowingly. “i was not!” you defended though you quickly abandoned that strategy at her firm gaze, seeing right through your lies.
“it didn’t work anyway she just came over afterwards.” you sighed as your sisters eyebrows raised. “oo did you two have hot hate sex?” lily asked as your eyes bugged and you smacked her on the arm. “what? of course not!” you scoffed in offence with a deep seeded frown.
“please if you think i didn’t know the two of you were more than friends once upon a time then you’re even more of a moron than i thought. harry and i have known for years!” your sister chuckled as your mouth formed a small o in shock at the reveal.
“how?” you questioned with a frown. “well firstly because you didn’t just deny it-“ she started as you groaned. “and secondly you were both horrible at sneaking around. the shared love bites alone were enough, you’re just lucky mums so oblivious.” she chuckled as you sighed, head thumping back on the pillow.
you’d told her way back then that both you and alessia had decided not to be friends anymore after she kept going to college from you, but you’d never told her the true nature of your relationship.
“why didn’t you ever tell me that you knew! especially after i came out!” you shoved her in annoyance. “i figured you’d want to leave it in the past. plus with dad and everything you had enough going on without the added stress.” her voice softened as you nodded.
“so she came over afterwards? are you two working it out then?” lily asked curiously as you shook your head firmly. “not like that. but we are slowly working on building a friendship back.” you revealed as your sister squeezed your shoulder in a silent understanding.
“well that’s nice then. but come on, if we don’t go and mingle soon i fear mum will send in a search party.” your sister rolled her eyes before you helped her up, the two of you making your way outside, greeted by cheers as you were passed from old family friend to friend giving pleasantries and half sincere smiles.
and that’s exactly how alessia found you as the russo’s arrived, the sun already setting as they made their way around the side of the house, gio and luca bickering as mario warned them to drop it.
they were a little later than everyone else, as arsenal had just won 4-1 with a lunchtime fixture much as alessia had encouraged her family to come here and she would meet them later they never missed a match where they could and she was grateful for their undying support.
as her family dispersed to greet everyone alessia’s eyes of course found you first, a soft smile coming to her lips as she watched your head go back with a laugh at something.
long gone were the days the two of you would hide away from everyone up in your room, it had seemed time had busted you right out of your shell as the blonde watched you effortlessly and confidently engage in conversations with everyone, joking around and waving your hands about as you clearly told some sort of story which had the group around you in stitches.
but well aware that the two of you were trying to go slow alessia chose purposefully not to go to you first, instead making her way around to those who she knew saying hello. she found herself engaged in a heated conversation with her brothers and a few of her dads friends about the match which just passed, playfully taking the mick out of them for the fact they were spurs supporters and that’s who she’d just beaten.
“lessi darling have you eaten anything since you played?” your mum interrupted, grabbing her arm with a smile as alessia shook her head. “well we can’t have that. come with me!” alessia laughed as she was lovingly dragged inside where the rest of the food was, chatting away with the older woman as she piled a plate high with it.
“mum for god sakes stop force feeding people!” alessia’s head turned as you appeared, stepping through the back door with a playful roll of your eyes. “she hasn’t eaten and she’s just played a full match! let your mother be a mother would you.” the older woman swatted at you as you grinned,
“heard you lost, what a shame.” you sighed toward the older girl who rolled her eyes. “no it’s not like golf, remember the team with the most goals wins!” alessia quipped back, thanking your mum with a kiss on the cheek as the woman placed a stacked plate of food in front of her.
“boring.” you shrugged, sending her a smile and offering her a drink which she accepted, your mum excusing herself back outside. “you went to a sold out semi final of the world cup without even knowing the rules of the game, and as an english woman. you’re lucky you didn’t get your head kicked in on the train home!” alessia laughed after she’d swallowed a mouthful of food.
you chuckled at that and retorted that you were not anyone’s favourite person that next day at school especially your very torn up very australian students. but the comment did have you thinking back to that night, where you had to see her for the first time in years and she didn’t even know you were there.
your coworkers had all but dragged you to the match, and despite not being a football fan you didn’t live under a rock. you knew alessia was in the england squad, your social media had been drowned in friends and family all posting and sharing about the teams extremely successful tournament.
englands love and pride for football ran deep and despite being in another country it seemed you just couldn’t escape the beloved strikers face following you around.
it had been the same for the euro’s however you’d been able to try and avoid that as much as you could with that not being something many australians bothered about. but with this tournament happening on the same soil you worked and lived on, it had become ten times harder to ignore it.
it had taken two days of stress and panic for you to actually come to terms with the fact that you’d be seeing her again, even from hundreds of metres away up in the stands, kept safe by the four walls of the corporate box you were all being treated to. your coworkers had forced you into a matilda’s jersey however you made a point of buying an england scarf as to not entirely betray your home country.
it had comforted you to know that at least alessia wouldn’t know you were there, and unlike every other time you’d supported her at a match in the past her eyes wouldn’t meet yours with a cheeky grin and a point in your direction when she scored.
that didn’t however stop you from cheering when she did, you were after all still very proud of the team and knew what this would do for womens sports even if you weren’t personally a die hard football fan. the cheers which were very quickly silenced by the murderous glares of the australians surrounding you in the box.
“you wore an australian jersey?” alessia gasped in disbelief as you revealed that to her. “i was trying to fit in! i had an england scarf.” you defended yourself with a laugh, the two of you sat on opposite ends of the lounge after alessia had finished eating.
“traitor to your own country.” alessia tutted making you roll your eyes before the blonde let out a large yawn, quickly covering her mouth as her cheeks flushed red with embarrassment. “sorry!” she apologised, shaking her head as if to wake herself up a little.
“don’t be. i was actually going to head home pretty soon, do you want a lift?” you offered hesitantly, alessia assuring she didn’t want to be a bother. “you’re not, pretty sure everyone’s made a point to tell me you only live a few minutes down the road. and I’d like to get out of here before they break out the karaoke!” you joked as alessia couldn’t help but nod in agreement, accepting your offer.
it took the two of you a further hour to say your goodbyes, the time now ticking over past eight in the evening you accepted the boo’s and the jeer’s that you were bailing early, brushing them off with a smile and a hug.
promising carol you’d come over soon and see her properly you finally made a break for the exit, alessia following suit as you made a beeline out the door and toward your car.
“they don’t ever get tired of making the point we grew up and aren’t thirteen anymore huh?” you laughed as you both buckled up. “oh look at you! so grown up! so beautiful, looking just like your mother!” alessia cooed sarcastically, reaching over to squeeze your cheeks and shake your head back and forth as you laughed and swatted her away.
it was almost scary how easy it felt to slip back into this light banter with her, chattering away as if no time had passed it surprised you how effortlessly the chips had fallen into place.
though despite that your walls were still very much so up, and you knew there were certain topics of conversation you’d avoid with her, and you still wanted to take it slow.
“hey this is really random, and please feel free to say no. but do you want to go get ice cream? there’s a gelato place not far from my apartment and i’ve kind of been craving it lately.” alessia asked apprehensively, fiddling with her hands.
“weren’t you just yawning a few minutes ago?” you chuckled, not catching the way alessia’s face flickered into disappointment for a moment before a smile quickly tugged at her lips.
“but hey who would i be to say no to ice cream.”
~
“this is me just up here.” alessia pointed as you nodded, driving a little down the street until you found a park. “you really are quite close, i could have walked from my place.” you smiled as the two of you got out of the car.
“the winds picking up and it’s supposed to rain tomorrow you might want a jumper or something.” alessia noted as you nodded, opening the back door and frowning at the empty seats.
“oh my jacket!” you remembered with a groan as realised you’d left it at your mums house, and of course it was one of your favourites. “dressed inappropriately for the london weather, remember you’re not in australia anymore!” alessia teased as you closed your door with a huff.
“i had one! i left it at back at mums place.” you sighed, wrapping your arms around yourself as indeed the wind had picked up. “typical. wait here.” alessia rolled her eyes playfully, stopping herself from inviting you inside well aware that might be a little too soon.
“less its fine i’ll warm up as we walk!” you called after her but the stubborn blonde dismissed you with a wave, glad to be facing away from you as she hurried toward her front door, hiding the smile which wound its way onto her lips at you again not calling her by her full name.
progress.
“here.” the striker returned a few minutes later, holding out a large charcoal grey coat in your direction, having slipped on a hoodie underneath the puffer jacket she was wearing earlier and tied her hair back into a low bun.
“your arms are so long.” you shrugged it on with a huff and rolled up the ends of the sleeves making alessia laugh. “not my fault i had a growth spurt and you’re the same height as when you were twelve.” the blonde smirked causing you to push her with a roll of your eyes.
“i am not! i’m barely a head shorter than you.”
“wow i didn’t realise heads were a metre long.”
“at least i know the size of my own legs. i saw you fall over before!” you grinned, the blonde indeed having tripped over the leg of a chair and tumbled down to the ground, relentlessly ribbed by her brothers for it she had been grateful no one else had seen.
or so she thought.
“thank you though.” you spoke more sincerely, definitely grateful for the barrier from the icy sharp poke of the london evening wind.
as the two of you walked it took every single ounce of your restraint not to focus on the fact that the coat smelled like her and that her scent had changed over the years from how you remembered it.
no longer was it plagued with notes of bergamot and lavender, or her infamous green apple shampoo. now you found yourself drowned in the faint but still ever present aroma of what was likely a rather expensive perfume, much more floral and light but still with some woody undertones, like how the ground smelled in spring after it rained.
it seemed ridiculous to say but she smelled rich, and yet still just as ever alluring as she had when you were younger and you’d steal her hoodies. relishing in pretending that she was with you in bed on nights where the two of you had to be apart, the blonde away on some sort of football tournament or camp.
if anything that made it a little easier to just tell yourself it was someone else’s coat given the unfamiliar aroma, to delude your poor overworked mind that you didn’t notice that you could still find yourself in a drunken haze on how intoxicatingly comforting it felt to wear her clothes, which had always hung off of you in the most ridiculous ways given your height difference.
because you wouldn’t dare to fall back into that trap, you couldn’t.
“can i try that one please?” alessia asked politely with a smile, pointing to a rocky road flavour as your eyes surveyed the counter, biting down on your bottom lip as your options ticked over in your head.
“oh yum. hey try this.” she nudged your shoulder with hers and held out the half eaten spoon toward you without a second thought. you knew she hadn’t meant anything by the casual gesture, the two of you had always shared food or drinks without a care.
but now, with your walls up and already struggling to pull your head out of the hazy fog caused by the fact you were wearing her coat and drowned in her smell, the simple gesture felt far too familiar for you to accept.
so you shook your head, pushing it back toward her and avoiding her eyes you felt look toward you. “can i please get a scoop of the caramel peanut butter and one of the cake batter please? in a cup.” you requested with a smile toward the young girl serving you.
“can i get a scoop of the rocky road and the cookies and cream please? in a cone.” alessia ordered her own, moving toward the counter as you were preoccupied with reading all the other weird and wacky flavours in the small but seemingly busy shop.
with you distracted she wasted no time paying for both of them with a simple tap, thanking the girl and grabbing both her cone and your cup, chuckling at your sweet tooth and making her way to you.
“that’s not fair! you payed for coffee too.” you scowled once you realised what she’d done, the two of you sitting down on a small table outside. “you can pay next time then.” alessia smiled over her ice cream causing you to roll your eyes.
“so do you have a busy week? though that’s probably quite a stupid question given your job.” alessia asked and quickly clarified with a sheepish chuckle.
“you’re not wrong. but they’re actually a great group of kids, a couple i have to keep an eye on but i love teaching them at this age. they’re just starting to learn and develop opinions and big feelings and watching that and encouraging it is so rewarding. much as those big feelings can sometimes be very overwhelming.” you laughed and suddenly realised you were rambling, a slight blush covering your cheeks.
“sorry. but no my weeks okay? I actually have monday off because they have an excursion and i drew the lucky card of not having to chaperone.” you sighed happily, as much as you did adore your class to wrangle over 40 kids in an environment outside of the school was often a nightmare, so you weren’t upset at missing out and having a three day weekend.
“did you really draw cards?” alessia asked with an amused smile. “no we draw names out of a hat.” you teased before explaining there was a rotating roster of which grade teachers had to attend each excursion.
“but a three day weekend means rory is dragging me out tomorrow night. which feels illegal given it’ll be a sunday!” you chuckled with a shake of your head, your long time friend forever trying to harass you into going out with her had meant she’d capitalised on this opportunity as soon as you’d make the mistake of mentioning it.
“what about you?” you switched the focus back to alessia who paused to swallow her mouthful of ice cream. “a few of the england girls are around london for an award show tonight so we’re going out tomorrow night to catch up. though for some reason they’ve decided to let tooney plan it so god knows what we’ll end up doing!” alessia rolled her eyes with a smile.
“award show? look at you, the little football mad girl from Kent going from mud wrestling and slumming it in the boys team to living it up in london rubbing elbows with celebrities.” you grinned as the two of you decided to start walking back.
“hardly, it feels so odd. people knowing who you are, wanting your attention or an autograph, knowing you’ve made their day even just by giving them a wave. you ride out the highs but then there’s the lack of privacy and all the media assumptions and the news articles and the criticism of every single match. i’m so incredibly grateful for all of it but sometimes its a little much.” alessia admitted with a sigh.
“i’m sorry i can’t even begin to imagine how that feels.” you empathised with the taller girl with a small frown. “i don’t even think i know how it feels. one day it’s the best job ever and you’re getting silverware and praise and the next you miss one kick and feel like you’ve let an entire country down.” alessia continued with a wince.
“social media would really make it worse huh.” you winced along with her at the thought of the millions of trolls which could hide behind the anonymous natures of theirs accounts. “god you have no idea. it was really bad when all the contract negotiations were going on with united before i moved to arsenal.” alessia sighed as you listened intently.
“everyone was telling me what to do or assuming what i was doing and that would lead to another news article speculating about my future and suddenly everyone feels the right to tear down everything. my football, my family, my weight, my appearance, everything. and it felt like i couldn’t escape it anywhere, even my own teammates were questioning what i was doing and where i was going if not with united but without a contract signed with arsenal yet because of the transfer window i legally couldn’t tell anyone what was happening.” alessia vented, the two of you finishing your ice creams as you dumped your empty cup in a nearby bin.
“sorry! that was…look its in the past. but yeah, social media sucks.” alessia caught herself becoming overtly emotionally at the memories and quickly breezed over them. “hey that sounds awful and i’m really sorry you had to go through that, but less don’t diminish the fact it felt horrible. people can be so cruel and cowardly on social media.” you grabbed her arm and gave her a smile so soft it had alessia’s knees wobbling.
“thank you. if anything nowadays it just drives me to train harder and play better, the best way to shut them up is by proving them wrong.” alessia shrugged, wrenching her eyes away from yours for fear of drowning in them.
“wow well it’s comforting to know all those years of torture kicking footballs at my head was worth it then.” you smiled bumping your shoulder into her. “mmm yeah using you for target practice really paid off, thanks!” she bumped you back with a grin as the two of you arrived to your car.
“text me when you get home safe yeah?” alessia asked with a slight frown as you nodded, unlocking your car and shrugging off her coat, folding it neatly and handing it back to her. “they have these crazy things called heaters in cars now.” you joked before she could offer for you to keep it, not wanting to entertain the thought.
“thank you, that was nice. catching up and stuff!” alessia smiled, rocking back and forth on the balls of her feet. “yeah it was.” you agreed sharing her thought, as nice as it could be for exes who suddenly decide after six years to try and be friends, nothing weird or hard about that at all.
a silence fell between the two of you, both sizing the other up and very clearly unsure how to end things. did you hug? did you both just part ways? did you say goodbye?
you both obviously picked up on the slightly awkward tension and chuckled shyly, and then with a few more moments of silence alessia decided to go for it well aware of a potential rejection.
she stepped toward you and opened her arms slightly, clearly hesitant as you paused. but then your arms were wrapped around her and your face was pressed into her chest and alessia held her breath for fear if she even moved slightly you might disappear.
your body filled with a warmth you’d not felt in years as her taller form wrapped around you in a tight hug, the double layers of clothing covering her only bringing more comfort as you could have melted into her.
but your walls suddenly sprang back up and you pulled away, sending her a rushed smile and a quick goodbye before slipping into your car as she made her way to her front door, watching as your car pulled off and disappeared around the corner.
busy driving you failed to see your phone light up with a notification as you turned your music louder to try and distract your mind from overthinking.

You hated Jeon Jungkook with every bone in your body.
When given this information, one might ask why you despise a man who has been nothing but nice to you since you became his new roommate at the newly built, Skyline View Apartments, although those who wondered about your dislike for him never had to hear him fucking the daylights of a new girl every single night.
You resented Jeon Jungkook so deeply that it had become an obsession. Day in and day out, the melodic moans and rhythmic thumping from his bedroom invaded your peace, a constant reminder of his promiscuity and your own solitude. Each passionate encounter was like a dagger piercing through the thin walls, leaving you seething with envy and frustration.
I mean, honestly, could he really make all those women feel that good?
---
The apartment was a patchwork of sunlight and shadows, dust motes dancing like tiny fairies in the afternoon glow streaming through the half-closed blinds. You sat on the edge of the secondhand couch that had seen better days, fidgeting with your phone as you checked the time once more.
"Any minute now," You whispered to yourself, the words lost in the quiet expanse of the room.
Your gaze flitted over the ad you'd posted online – 'Roommate Wanted: must be clean, quiet, and okay with late-night baking sessions.' The rent, unyielding in its monthly appearance, had become a specter haunting your bank account. Sharing your space wasn't ideal, but neither was the idea of moving back home to two unsupportive, narcissistic parents.
A knock at the door jolted you from your thoughts. You took a deep breath, smoothing down your shirt as if the gesture could iron out your nerves.
You opened the door to reveal a young man with a bright smile and a duffel bag slung over his shoulder.
"Jungkook?" You asked tentatively.
"That's me, you must be Y/N," he replied, his voice carrying the warmth of a summer breeze. "I hope I'm not too early or anything."
"Right on time, actually." You stepped aside, gesturing for him to come in. "Welcome to what might be your new home, I guess."
"Thank you," Jungkook said, stepping past the threshold. He surveyed the room with an appreciative nod. "You've got a great place here. The ad didn't do it justice."
"Photography isn't really my strong suit," You admitted with a self-deprecating chuckle.
Jungkook set his duffel down, careful not to disturb the arrangement of magazines on the coffee table. "I'm pretty easy-going. As long as I have somewhere to sleep and cook some simple meals, I'm set."
"Ah, you cook?" You perked up, interest piqued. "That's definitely a point in your favor."
"Nothing too fancy," Jungkook confessed, scratching the back of his neck sheepishly. "But I can manage well enough not to starve."
You laughed, the sound more relaxed than you felt. "I tend to bake when I'm stressed. So, between your cooking and my baking, we might not be the healthiest household."
"Sounds perfect to me," Jungkook grinned.
"Listen," you started, suddenly serious, "I really need someone to split the rent with. And you seem nice enough. But are you sure you're okay with the rules? My work schedule is kind of erratic, and I need quiet to focus when I'm at home."
"Totally understand," Jungkook assured you.
"I keep odd hours myself sometimes. For the record, I'm clean and respectful of shared spaces. I would want the same if the roles were reversed."
"Guess it's settled then." You extended her hand, feeling the strange mix of relief and trepidation churn within you. "You're welcome to be my roommate, as long as you want to."
"Well I wouldn't be here if I wasn't interested, now, would I?" Jungkook replied, his handshake firm and reassuring.
You nodded, laughing quietly, "I guess you're right. Let me show you around."
---
As the days turned into weeks, your initial reservations about Jeon Jungkook began to dissipate. Contrary to the image you had built up in your mind, he turned out to be an ideal roommate. He was considerate, always cleaning up after himself, and never complained about your late-night baking sessions that sometimes left the kitchen a mess. He was quiet and respectful of your space.
You found yourself growing closer to him, drawn in by his infectious laughter and the genuine interest he showed in your life. It was as if a friendship had blossomed from the ashes of animosity. You began sharing meals together, chatting about everything from work to your dreams for the future. For the first time in a long while, you didn't feel alone.
That is, until about two weeks ago when Jungkook started banging every girl that he found within a 5 mile radius.
---
The clock struck midnight, and you lay in your bed, the moonlight casting ghostly shadows across your room.
You had been trying to fall asleep for the past hour, but the hope of rest was dashed each time a new wave of noise crashed through the walls from Jungkook’s side of the apartment.
"Ugh, not again..." you muttered under your breath, pulling the pillow over your ears as if it could shield you from the cacophony next door.
A rhythmic thumping against the shared wall set a maddening tempo, accompanied by the high-pitched squeal of bedsprings in protest.
You could hear Jungkook's voice, a melodic baritone, now moaning without any hint of restraint or concern for his roommate.
"Seriously, does he have to be so loud?" You grumbled, annoyance simmering as you kicked off your tangled sheets.
It wasn't just the volume; it was the frequency. This had become an all too familiar soundtrack to your nights, and with every encounter audible through the paper-thin walls, your patience wore thinner.
"God, do they ever get tired?" The thought came unbidden, as you sat up, clenching your fists in frustration.
You paced back and forth, considering banging on the wall or maybe even screaming into your pillow. Each stifled cry and laugh from the other side felt like an invasion of your already cramped personal space.
"Okay, think... headphones. Where are my headphones?" You whispered to yourself, fumbling through your nightstand drawer in desperation.
Stressed and sleep deprived, you froze with a sudden realization: your headphones were in Jungkook's room.
You mentally cursed yourself for leaving them there, how could you be so damn forgetful?
"Are you fucking serious?" You groaned, mentally debating on whether you should interrupt Jungkook's late-night escapade or not.
"Tomorrow," you vowed silently, "I'm buying earplugs. Or soundproofing. Or moving to the moon."
As the seconds dragged on, punctuated by the occasional 'Yes!' and 'Right there!' from next door, your initial irritation gave way to a begrudging resignation. You knew this wouldn't be the last night spent battling for sleep against the symphony of Jungkook's indiscretions.
"It's now or never, Y/N. Just get it over with."
Summoning a newfound resolve, you rose from your bed and marched determinedly towards Jungkook's room. The hallway was dimly lit, the only source of light coming from a cracked doorway that spilled out a warm, amber glow.
With every step, your anger fueling your actions, you were prepared to confront him about the disruption he was causing.
Clenching your fists tightly, you hesitated for a brief moment before knocking forcefully on his door.
The sounds from within abruptly ceased, replaced by an eerie silence that seemed to stretch on forever. Your heart raced in anticipation as you waited for a response. After what felt like an eternity, the door creaked open slowly, revealing a disheveled Jungkook standing on the other side, bare chested with a sheet hanging loosely around his waist. His eyes widened in surprise at the sight of you, clearly caught off guard.
As you stood at the threshold of his room, you were met with clothes strewn across the floor. The air was heavy with the scent of passion, mixing with a tinge of regret that hung in the air like an unanswered question.
"What the hell do you want, Y/N? Can't you see I'm busy?"
He gestured with his hand towards the inner parts of his room revealing a girl who seemed to be about your age, wide eyed and clearly uncomfortable with the situation that was playing out before her.
Your anger flared, the frustration of sleepless nights fueling your words. "I want some peace and quiet, Jungkook! This is not the first time this has happened, and I'm tired of being subjected to your...activities." You couldn't help but glare at the girl, her presence only amplifying your annoyance. "And who is she? Another one of your conquests?"
Jungkook's expression hardened, a mixture of annoyance and frustration crossing his features,"Y/N, you shouldn't come barging in like this! The stuff that I do in my time is none of your fucking business. And besides, we were just catching up."
"Catching up?" Your voice dripped with sarcasm. "Is that what you call it? Because I've heard more than enough catching up these past few weeks."
The girl let out a whimper, her eyes wide with fear, as if she was suddenly realizing the gravity of the situation.
Jungkook sighed, running a hand through his hair. Turning to the girl tangled in the covers he stared with apologetic eyes, "Look maybe you should just leave for now. We can finish what we started another time, yeah?"
The girl nodded, hastily gathering her clothes and making a beeline for the door, completely avoiding your gaze.
With a scoff, you turned your attention back to Jungkook, taking in his frustrated expression, "There, are you happy now? She's gone."
Jungkook's eyes narrowed as he took a step closer, his voice low and controlled. "You know, Y/N, you don't have to be so judgmental. Just because my lifestyle doesn't align with yours doesn't give you the right to invade my privacy and shame me for it."
Your anger flared even hotter at his words. "Invade your privacy? You've been invading mine, night after night! This is my home too, Jungkook. I deserve some peace and quiet."
He scoffed, crossing his arms defiantly. "And what about the peace and quiet I deserve? What if I told you that you're not the easiest person to live with either?"
The words stung, but you refused to back down. "I'm not the easiest person to live with!? That's bullshit! This is my apartment, or did you forget?"
He shook his head, frustrated by your accusations. "You act as if this place belongs only to you. Don't forget, Y/N, we agreed to this living arrangement equally. I have just as much right to live here as you do."
You threw your hands in the air, frustration finally starting to boil over, "Of course you fucking do! I don't care whether you have sex or not, or with who for that matter! I just wish you could be a little quieter. Is that too much to ask for?"
Jungkook laughed harshly, "If you don't care who I fuck or when I do it, then why are you standing outside my door right now, getting mad at me for that exact reason?"
If murder wasn't illegal, you would strangle Jeon Jungkook with your bare hands right fucking now, no regrets.
But instead of giving in to the violent urge that bubbled within you, you took a step back, trying to regain your composure. It was clear that this argument was going nowhere, and you knew that escalating the situation further would only make matters worse.
"I came here to address the noise issue, Jungkook," you said through gritted teeth, your voice strained with frustration. "I've been struggling to sleep because of the constant disruptions, and I wanted to talk it out like adults. But clearly, that's not possible."
Jungkook scoffed, "Are you saying I'm not mature enough to handle this situation?"
Oh fuck, someone should restrain you before things get violent.
"What?? When did I say th--" You paused for a moment, thinking before allowing a sly smile to spread across your features, "Yes. That's exactly what I'm saying."
Jungkook's eyebrows shot up in disbelief, his eyes narrowing in anger. "You think you're so high and mighty, don't you? Always acting like you're better than everyone else," he spat, his voice dripping with venom.
You smirked, the tension between the two of you crackling in the air. "Well, at least I have some self-control. Unlike you, who can't seem to keep it in your pants long enough for me to get a good night's sleep."
His face flushed red, a mixture of embarrassment and rage contorting his features. "You don't know anything about me."
"Oh please," you scoffed. "Enlighten me then, Jeon Jungkook. I'd love to hear your story that justifies keeping the whole apartment complex awake every damn night."
Jungkook's jaw clenched, and you could see the anger flickering in his gaze. But instead of retaliating with harsh words or escalating the tension further, he surprised you by exhaling slowly, seemingly calming himself down before suddenly leaning in close enough that you could feel his warm breath fanning across your face.
"Are you sure you're angry because it's too loud for you to sleep?" He whispered, a devilish smirk etched into his features, "are you sure it's not just because you're jealous?"
"Jealous?" You sputtered, taken aback by his change in demeanor, "of what? Of the fact that you're fucking every girl and their mother?"
Jungkook nodded slowly, "Do you want some of the action, Y/N? Do you want me to fuck you so good you see stars?"
Your heart pounded in your chest as you stared at Jungkook, his words hanging in the air between you, the tension between the two of you reaching its peak. A part of you was shocked, but another part was aroused by his audacity.
"What the hell are you suggesting?" You hissed, your voice barely above a whisper. "You really think I'd let you do that to me?"
Jungkook smirked, a predatory gleam flaring up in his eyes. "Don't tell me you're not curious. You've seen me with other girls, you've heard the noises... do you ever wonder what it's like for them? To be in my arms, to be with me?"
Your breath hitched as you processed his words. Was this really happening? Was he really saying these things to you?
"You know, Y/N, you keep complaining about all the girls I've brought home these past few weeks, but you've never once stopped to ask me why."
"Because you have the same sex drive as a horny teenager?" You retorted, crossing your arms over your chest.
He took a step closer, his body language commanding your attention, "I was home that night." He whispered, eyes sparkling at your retort, a twinkle of mischief in his gaze.
"W-what do you mean? Which night?"
Jungkook's voice lowered, dangerous and seductive, "The night you came home with Taehyung."
"I-I don't know what you're talking about," You stammered, feeling your body heat up as his gaze lingered on you.
Jungkook's smirk widened, "Oh, I think you do, Y/N. You came home that night, tipsy and flushed, your hair still wet from the rain that had been pounding on the windows."
You laughed nervously, trying to act innocent despite the fact that you knew exactly what he was talking about, "What...what do you mean?"
"I heard every noise you made that night, Y/N. Every cry, every scream, every moan, every whimper."
He leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a low growl, "And I watched you. I watched you give yourself to that boy, your eyes closed tight, your body arching back and forth in rhythmic motions. I saw every flush of color, every quiver of your lips, your nails digging into his back as you came undone."
You froze. If you had known Jungkook was home that day, there was no way in hell you would have left the door open as Taehyung fucked you into oblivion. At least...that's what you want Jungkook to think.
Your heart was pounding in your chest, and you could feel the heat rising to your cheeks. You wanted to deny it, to push him away, but at the same time, a part of you was yearning for more.
"Jungkook what are you--"
You couldn't finish your sentence before he was upon you, his mouth devouring yours in a passionate kiss that left you breathless.
You knew you should stop him, that you should push him away, but the arousal that Jungkook had stirred within you overcame any rational thought. You moaned into his mouth, your body arching into his, desire and want consuming your whole being.
He gently pushed you against the wall, his body caging yours in. Your lips met in a passionate collision that sent sparks flying between the two of you. Jungkook's tongue darted out to taste you, delving deep into your mouth with a groan. You welcomed him eagerly, your hands running through his messy hair before moving to his back, nails scratching lightly against his skin, leaving trails of desire.
He pulled away for a moment to run his nose along your jaw, inhaling deeply. To him, you tasted like cherry lip-gloss and wine, and Jungkook loved it. He captured your bottom lip between his teeth, sucking on it softly before whispering hoarsely against it, "You have no fucking clue how long I've wanted this. How long I've wanted you."
His hands slid down your body, caressing your curves, making their way to your hips.
He lifted you up just enough that you wrapped your legs around his waist, arching into him.
Jungkook's free hand found its way under your shirt, tracing circles on your stomach before working its way up to cup your breast.
You moaned into the kiss, your head spinning from the mix of emotions coursing through your body. You've never been this intoxicated by someone before.
The scent of his cologne filled your senses, making you dizzy with want and need. You pressed your body against his hard length, feeling him stir against you. Your heart skipped a beat at his arousal, and in that moment you wanted nothing more than to feel him inside of you.
You pulled away from the kiss, gasping for air as you looked at him with heavy-lidded eyes. "Take me to your room." Your voice came out husky, a mere whisper.
Jungkook didn't need to be asked twice, pulling you closer towards his room. As the two of you moved, he nipped at your neck, causing you to gasp and squirm in his arms.
The sound of his footsteps echoed in the empty hallway, the sound of your passionate breathing filling the air. His room is only a few steps away, and he stumbled through the door, out of breath.
The two of you tumbled onto the bed together, your bodies entwined in a sea of need.
"You're everything I've ever wanted," he murmured against your skin before kissing his way down your neck towards your clothed breasts. His hands roamed over your body, exploring every inch of your softness as his mouth traced a trail of fire across your collarbone. Your bodies moved together sensuously, practically in unison.
You paused for a moment, looking down at the obvious erection he was sporting beneath the sheet that was somehow still wrapped around his waist.
You could feel the warmth of Jungkook's body as you sat next to him, his chest rising and falling rhythmically with his breaths.
You couldn't resist the temptation any longer; You reached your hand out to touch the bulge in the sheet that covered his waist. Boldly, You slid your fingers over the fabric, teasing him as you dragged the seets downwards to reveal a hard, hot shaft.
Jungkook groaned softly, his eyes fluttering shut as you wrapped your hand around it, encasing it within your warm, soft palm. It twitched in response, pulsing slightly under your touch.
Jungkook moaned softly, his lips parting as he watched your every move, hunger burning in his eyes. You had never felt so powerful before, so in control.
"You're going to drive me crazy, Y/N." Jungkook whispered, a hint of warning in his voice.
You grinned, happy to have succeeded in your goal, "But you know I love pushing buttons." you replied, voice thick with desire.
"Keep going." His voice was ragged, broken. He grabbed your hand and laced your fingers together, guiding your hand up and down his length. The fabric of the sheet brushed against your knuckles as it lay draped against his thighs.
You began to stroke him in sync with his movements, your breath hitching slightly at the feel of him. You took in the scent of his skin, warm and slightly salty with arousal, and the sound of your entwined fingers rubbing against the sheet, rustling softly.
You leaned forward, pressing your lips to his neck as you continued to stroke him. His skin was warm against your mouth, and you savored the taste of his sweat.
You nipped at his earlobe, delighting in the way he shivered beneath your touch. "Jungkook, can I suck your dick? Please?" You asked, your tongue dancing along his jawline.
He nodded against your lips, his hips bucking slightly, seeking more contact. You slid your other hand down to caress his balls, gently cupping them in your palm. They were heavy and full, and you couldn't help but wonder what they'd feel like in your hand when they were covered in your juices. The thought sent a fresh wave of heat through your core, and you found yourself growing wetter and wetter by the minute.
"Y/N..." he moaned, his voice hoarse. "Please..."
You slipped the sheet away from him to allow yourself better access, quickly falling to your knees in front of him, and boy, did Jungkook love the sight.
You marvelled at the size of his cock, large and thick, glistening with pre-cum. Your heart was pounding in your chest as you wrapped your lips around the head, feeling his warm skin against your tongue.
Jungkook moaned deeply at the sensation, his fingers tangling in your hair as he felt the hot wetness envelop him. You licked and nuzzled the underside of his shaft with your tongue, teasing the sensitive skin with each flick before taking more of him in your mouth. You pulled back slowly, the head of Jungkook's cock slipping from your lips with an audible sucking sound, and then slid back down, taking him to the root with a loud gulp. Jungkook's hips bucked up off the mattress involuntarily, craving more.
You hummed in approval, cheeks hollowing as you bobbed your head up and down, creating a rhythm that sent shivers down Jungkook's spine. You cupped one of Jungkook's balls in your hand, massaging gently as you continued to deep throat him. Jungkook's taste exploded on your tongue, filling the room with a musky scent that made the both of you shudder. Each time you withdrew, you flicked the sensitive tip with his tongue, driving Jungkook insane with lust.
"Fuck baby...just like that." He moaned, threading his fingers through your hair, pulling you closer to him.
Jungkook's muscles tensed under your touch, his thighs trembling with the effort to hold still. He felt himself growing closer to his peak, his cock throbbing in your mouth. The sounds of your breathing grew louder, faster, and the room was filled with wet, slurping noises as you sucked harder. His eyes fluttered open when he felt your teeth graze against the sensitive skin at the base of his cock, and he cried out, arching into the touch.
"Ahh, shit, that mouth feels so good.”
You looked up at him through your eyelashes, a smirk gracing your lips. "Like that?" You asked, voice rough with desire.
Jungkook nodded, unable to form words as his body was consumed by pleasure. He reached down to stroke your hair, feeling the silky strands between his fingers as you moved faster, taking more of him into your mouth. Jungkook's hips bucked wildly now, meeting the rhythm of your bobbing head. He could feel the familiar tingle spreading through his body, his heart pounding in his ears.
"Fuck, I'm gonna-- shit, I'm close."
With one final thrust forward, Jungkook came, his release hot and thick in your mouth. He groaned loudly, almost giving out as he lost control.
You welcomed every drop, swallowing greedily as you continued to stroke Jungkook's length.
The room fell into silence, the only sound being their ragged breathing. Eventually, you pulled away, a satisfied smile on you face.
"That was amazing," Jungkook whispered, his cheeks flushed with arousal.
You leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. His hands cupped the back of your head, holding you close as you tasted your own handiwork. "I'm glad you enjoyed it," you whispered, your voice still thick with desire.
Jungkook nodded before fiddling with the hem of your shorts, "Let me make you feel good too, Y/N. I wanna taste you."
You felt a shiver of anticipation run down your spine as he began to run his fingers up and down your thighs, his touch sending shivers coursing through your body.
"Jungkook, I'm all yours," you whispered, your eyes never leaving his as he continued to explore your body.
He smiled softly before slowly kissing his way up your inner thigh, his tongue tracing a path that sent a rush of excitement coursing through your body. He paused for a moment, his knees brushing against your legs as he looked up at you, his eyes filled with desire.
"Just tell me what you want, babe," he rasped, his voice low and full of lust.
You bit your lip, unsure of what to say. You had never felt this exposed before, never this vulnerable. But you knew that this was what you wanted, this connection with him, and you trusted him implicitly.
"I-I want you, Jungkook. Please, just touch me."
Jungkook nodded moving himself slightly have have better access to your dripping pussy.
Smiling, he slowly pulled your shorts down your legs, revealing your most intimate parts to him.
You part your legs slightly, inviting him in as he pressed his lips to you slit, exploring with soft little licks and kisses. His warm breath bathed you sensitive skin, sending shivers down your spine. "Oh fuck..." You let out, arching your back slightly into his touch.
His tongue dove in, tracing your folds and flicking against your clit, lapping at your juices like a hungry animal. Your hips jerked forward involuntarily as he began to suck on your sensitive bud, drawing out a moan from the depths of your throat. "Jungkook..." you panted, gripping onto his hair tightly. He sucked harder, pulling on your clit between his teeth, and you gasped, feeling your whole body tense up.
"You taste so good," he mumbled against your entrance, tongue darting around inside of you.
To him, you tasted both sweet and salty, driving him wild.
Your breath hitched as he started thrusting his tongue in and out, in sync with his fingers that are now rubbing your entrance. His other hand squeezed your ass cheek, pulling you closer, and you whimpered, unable to focus on anything but the sensations coursing through you. Each thrust of his tongue hit your G-spot, sending shockwaves of pleasure through your core.
"Fuck, Jungkook," you cried out, throwing your head back, hair falling in front of your face as you lost control.
You tried to push him away, needing a moment to catch your breath, but he didn't budge. His tongue pushed deeper, exploring every inch of you, and you can't help but whimper
"I'm so close!" You warned, voice thin and breaking.
Jungkook smirked, feeling a sense of power in being able to bring you this close so quickly. He quickened his pace, his tongue flicking and thrusting inside of you, driving you closer and closer to the edge. Your hips bucked wildly, your back arched, and you cried out, your whole body trembling with pleasure.
When you could finally take no more, you cried out his name, your body shuddering as wave after wave of pleasure washed over you, your orgasm gripping his tongue and clenching around him. Jungkook continued to lick and suckle at your sensitive folds, drawing out every last drop of pleasure that he could, until you finally collapsed back down onto the bed, spent and breathless.
He gently pulled away, giving you space to recover, his own breath coming out ragged as he stared down at you, awe written across his face.
"Y/N. That was incredible. You're incredible." He leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss to your lips, his hand reaching up to stroke your hair.
You leaned back slightly to meet his eyes, "I want you inside of me, Jungkook. Please."
"But...don't you want to take a break?" He asked, concern clear in his voice as he looked into your eyes. You smiled softly, understanding the concern behind his words.
"No. Please, Jungkook, I need you."
"Fuck..." He lowered his head and you found his dick, hard again after eating you out.
You gave him a few swift strokes, eliciting a moan followed by a string of curses.
You guided him towards your entrance, slowly opening your legs to expose yourself to him. You wanted him, needed him, and began taking him in slowly, inch by inch.
A low growl escaped his throat as you enveloped him fully, the two of you moving in perfect sync. His hands gripped your waist tightly, pulling you closer, deeper.
"Fuck, Y/N. You feel so good," he groaned, chest heaving.
Jungkook thrust into you with a steady rhythm. His hips slapping against your ass as the two of you moaned in unison. The bed creaked with your movements, filling the air with an erotic melody. Your nails dug into Jungkook's back, leaving red marks visible against his perfect skin. He growled, biting down on your neck as he lifted you up and slammed you down onto him with more force. Your breasts swayed with each movement of his hips, nipples hardening against his chest.
"You feel so damn good," he growled, his hips bucking faster with each thrust, his eyes never leaving yours.
You moaned softly, meeting his thrusts with fervor. His breaths came out ragged, panting as he continued to move inside of you.
Your bodies moved together in perfect sync as he pinned you down, not wanting to lose the feeling of being this close to you. He leaned down, capturing your lips in a passionate kiss that left you gasping for air.
To him, you tasted of both of your combined sweat and his essence as he nipped at your bottom lip before devouring it once more.
Your legs wrapped tightly around his waist, urging him to go deeper. He groaned into the kiss and complied, slamming into you harder as he felt your inner walls clench around him.
"Fuck," he muttered against your lips, the word lingering there as you both pulled apart to gasp for air. "You're so fucking perfect, Y/N." He slammed into you again, his pace quickening as he lost control. His fingers dug into your hips, marking your flesh with his nails.
The sound of skin hitting skin filled the room, echoing in the silence. Your head hit the headboard with every powerful thrust, eyes rolled back in ecstasy. You whimpered Jungkook's name, voice hoarse from the pleasure coursing through your veins.
You felt everything, each inch of him inside of you, and every touch that sent shivers down your spine.
You gripped onto his hair, pulling him closer for another deep kiss. Your tongues tangled together, hearts racing as the both of you lost yourselves in this moment. With every stroke of his hips, you felt the burning sensation between your legs intensify.
It was as if he was setting you on fire, and you couldn't get enough of it. His cock hit your G-spot over and over again, driving you wild with desire.
"Fuck, Jungkook!" You screamed, "I'm close!"
Your nails dug deeper into his skin, Jungkook hissed but didn't pull away, instead, he growled low in his throat and took your lip between his teeth, marking you.
You responded by biting his neck, hard enough to leave a mark of your own.
"Ah, Jungkook!" As Jungkook slammed into you harder and harder, a familiar coil began to build inside of you, bubbling up until finally waves of pleasure crashed over you, one after the other as you found your release.
Your moans and gasps filled the room, drowning out everything else, and Jungkook followed suit, his orgasm overtaking him not long after yours.
"Holy shit, Y/N, I'm gonna-- fuck!"
With one final thrust, Jungkook groaned and his hips stuttered, his warmth filling you up completely.
Your tongues tangled as the two of you kissed, your hearts beating together.
As you caught your breath and lay there together, your bodies still intertwined, you couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of completion. The air was thick with the mingled scents of sex and sweat, and your skin was slick with a sheen of perspiration.
Jungkook stroked your hair softly, his fingers gentle against your skin, and you could hear the ragged rhythm of his breathing. Your gaze met his, his eyes filled with vulnerability.
You leaned forward, lips brushing against his cheek, and whispered, "So, was all of that earlier...just to make me jealous? So I would give in and take the initiative?"
Jungkook's cheeks tinged a shade of pink, hiding his face in the crook of your neck, "You have no idea how long I've been into you. When I saw you with Taehyung, I just...I don't know. I saw the way you were with him, and I realized that I wanted to be the only one to make you scream like that."
Woah, that was some confession.
You swallowed hard, feeling a mix of surprise, joy, and confusion wash over you. "What do you mean, you've been into me for a long time? For how long?"
Jungkook took a deep breath, his eyes meeting yours with a blend of fear and love. "Since the first time I saw you. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I just couldn't resist you. You're everything I've ever wanted, and I knew I had to have you, Y/N."
You felt your heart flutter at his words, and you gently caressed his cheek. "I...I've had feelings for you too, Jungkook."
"Although this absolutely fucking pains me to admit, I knew you were home that day. You know, the day with uh, Taehyung. I did that on purpose. I was...I was t-trying to make you jealous."
Jungkook laughed, continuing to stroke your hair, "Well it fucking worked."
You chuckled softly at his admission, your heart swelling with affection as you traced his jawline with your fingers.
"As long as we're honest with each other, it's all good. And honestly, I don't think I would have been able to resist you either," you admitted, a shy smile playing on your lips.
He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against your forehead. "I want to make sure we get this right, Y/N. I don't want to rush into anything, and I want to make sure we're both happy."
You nodded, understanding the importance of taking things slow. "I agree, Jungkook. We can take our time, and we'll figure this out together."
As you lay entwined, your sweaty bodies still glistening from your passionate encounter, you felt a sense of peace wash over you. This was just the beginning of your journey together and you knew that, as long as you had each other, you could face anything that came your way. The world had just opened up in the most unexpected way, and the two of you were ready to explore it together, side by side.

Tumblr media
"Have you still not showered!? Amor it's almost midnight and you need to rest!" Pablo came back after throwing out the trash and you were still in front of your computer frantically trying to finish your essay that wasn't even due until the end of the week.
"Mhm.." was all you answered not really paying attention to his words since you were almost ready to start writing your conclusion paragraph.
Suddenly, Pablo closed your lap top and you were looking at him with a shocked face. Thankfully you always work in Google Drive so everything stays saved, but you were angry he just wouldn't let you finish this tonight if you wanted to do it!
"Pablo!" you whine but he was taking away your lap top plugging it in before coming back to where you were sitting in the dining room.
"Don't Pablo me! Come on, time to go to bed nena!" he said reaching out for my hand helping me get up from the chair and I still felt tempted to finish the very last paragraph.
"I have one more paragraph to do...and then I'll.." he would even let you finish that sentence as he was already tossing you over his shoulder smacking your ass while walking towards your bathroom.
"You are being so bratty tonight! What am I going to do with you nena? Huh?" he said after placing you down and turning on the shower.
"Let me do what I want?" you said smartly knowing that's never going to happen and Pablo turned towards you with his infamous smirk.
"Now that's not something I usually do princesa..come on now, arms up!" he said and you rolled your eyes knowing that would annoy him but still doing as he asked as he took off your clothes piece by piece and opened the door for you to step into the shower.
When you came out seeing your lap top plugged in on the sofa and no Pablo in sight, you quickly got dressed and walked towards it only to be interrupted by Pablo's coughs.
"Yeah, good try..get your perky ass to bed right now nena..or I'm gonna make it red!" Pablo said making your cheeks blush and you knew he would do such thing if you pushed him too far.
"I made you some camomile tea to help you relax and get some sleep" he said placing the cup on your nightstand and you smiled at his kind gesture.
When he got into his own pajamas (boxers and old Barça t-shirt), he joined you in bed smiling when he saw you sipping on your tea already yawning a few times.
When you finished the tea, you felt so sleepy that you could fall asleep sitting up. All the exhausting from the day finally set in and you were moving closer to Pablo out of instinct wanting to be held before letting yourself go to the dreamland.
"There we go, put your head right there on my chest and get some rest..mi nena buena" Pablo praised moving his fingers through your hair gently while you nuzzled your face into his neck taking in his strong scent.
"Thank you for taking care of me amor..I needed some rest" you admit looking up at him and he smiled proudly nodding his head before leaning down and capturing your lips in a sweet kiss.
"If only you would listen to me more often princesa.." he teased and you whined shaking your head before moving even closer tossing one of your legs aver both of his wanting desperately to play with his hair.
"Pablito??" you used the nickname whenever you really wanted something and he knew it very well.
"What does my princesa want now? Huh?" he said smiling down at you secretly admiring just how beautiful you looked in that moment with messy hair and tired eyes.
"Can I play with you hair please?" you say blushing a little and he smirked nodding his head while kissing the top of your nose playfully.
"It's all yours preciosa.." and those words were enough for your fingers to start massaging his scalp while you cuddled close to him and closed your eyes feeling safe, loved and ready to get some very needed rest <3
Hope you enjoyed the story anon :)

Notes: I've been pondering this story for several weeks, and now I'm finally getting it down on paper.
Warnings: Date gone wrong, canon-typical language, self-esteem issues, mention of dirty thoughts, food and dessert descriptions, tiny bit of food kink?, past fat-shaming, still fluffy with a happy ending (mention of future relationship)

"Chef, we have a problem at Table 5."
Luca sighs when Petra tells him this - she's his most trusted waitress, and she can usually handle anything on the floor. "What kind of problem?" he asks.
"The woman's date snuck out on her, and he stuck her with the check." Petra points out into the restaurant space, and Luca sees the patron in question. She's plump and pretty, but the way she's hunched over her table, Luca can tell how upset she is.
"Was the guy acting weird?"
Petra shrugs. "I mean, he was a little under-dressed, and he'd been twitchy. I guess he was looking for his opportunity to dash - he mentioned needing the bathroom, then he disappeared. That said, the lady has been lovely; I just hope this doesn't sour her on this place for good."
"Okay..." Luca ponders a minute, and then he takes his apron off. Calling to his staff, he says, "Chefs, I'll be right back, keep it moving!"
"Yes chef!" "Heard, chef!" Luca smiles to himself; he's always known his team is dependable.
--
When Petra comes back to check on you, she's not alone - she's accompanied by a striking man with dark blond hair and an attractive lift to his eyebrows.
"Petra, is this the manager?" you ask. "I'm good for the check, I wasn't trying to angle for a discount."
Petra shakes her head. "No ma'am - this is Chef Luca, our head of pastries. He just wanted to chat with you and see how you were doing." She pats your shoulder and takes her leave.
"May I sit?" Luca asks.
"Sure," you say. FUCK, he's cute - up close, you can tell that his nose and jaw could cut glass.
He sits across from you, and his expression is sympathetic. "Petra told me the basics - are you ok?"
"Well, like I said, I'm good for the check - but mostly, I feel stupid," you admit. "All the warning signs were there that this was a set-up."
"Oh?"
"Yeah - I'd known Oliver for five years, and he'd never gone out with anyone who....who's built like me - and then suddenly he says, "Oh, let's go to this great place I heard about, but can you put the reservation under your name?" We get here and Petra asks us about splitting the check - he says there's no need, it'll be just one check, and when I thank him, he says, "No, thank you for coming out." "
You pause, and then you groan in annoyance. "Shit, I bet he heard about me getting my inheritance from my aunt; that's why he knew I could afford this place."
Luca winces - he's heard of some cowardly shit in his time, but this is ridiculous. "That's the worst; I'm sorry."
"Not your fault, but thank you," you say. "Petra was great and it's sweet of you to check in." You pull out your purse. "I'll pay up and be on my way."
"Actually, do you have to go just yet?" Luca asks. "If you're not in a hurry, I was wondering if you could do me a favor."
Your mind briefly goes to a dirty place, but thankfully it doesn't show on your face. You put your purse back down and look at him questioningly. "What kind of favor?"
"I have a new dessert I'm working on, but I don't think it's quite right yet. Want to try a few samples and tell me what you think?"
That's not what you were expecting, but you won't argue with a handsome man presenting you with handmade delicacies either. You nod, and Luca signals Petra to the kitchen to get a tray together.
Petra returns with a plate full of different variations on the same dessert, along with a glass of sparkling water for a palate cleanser. Your eyes go wide - there must be a dozen different versions of this miniature treat in front of you. Each piece is unique, either by stacking order or by ingredient proportions.
"You don't mind me eating in front of you?" you ask Luca. Unfortunately, you've had it happen once where someone made oinking noises while you ate, and you've never quite lived it down.
"I wouldn't be in this business if I did," he reassures you.
"Ok, that's fair." Looking down at your platter, you decide to start from the left top corner and work your way down each column. It's hard not to notice Luca's eyes on you as you go through, but you figure he's just gauging your reactions.
It's all absolutely delicious, but there are samples that particularly stand out. When you're done, you have your answer. "Keeping in mind that I am the opposite of a professional at this sort of thing," you say, "I think if you took the stacking order of the third one - plum then chocolate then cookie - but then used the proportions of the seventh one where it's heavier on the chocolate than the other ingredients ... I think you'd have a winner."
Luca breaks out into a smile that makes your heart flutter. "I can see that," he agrees. "I'll test a full size version - and maybe you'd like to come back and try it tomorrow?"
"...Chef, are you asking for a food taster or for something else?" After the stunt Oliver pulled on you, you don't want any confusion.
"Well, let me put it this way," Luca says, helping you to your feet and hooking your purse over your shoulder. "If you were to come back tomorrow...there would be dinner before the new dessert premieres - if you're up for that?" He's still holding onto the strap of your bag, and it means you're looking right in his eyes.
"I am," you tell him with a smile. "And even if there weren't dinner, I'd still owe you for saving my night, so...yes. I'll be back tomorrow."
--
Years later, you and Luca still can't agree which of those nights actually counts as your first date. If someone were to ask Luca, he says it was the first night when you tried his desserts. If that same person were to ask you, you would say the dinner the next night was the change because that's when you had your first kiss.
Petra, who's no stranger to these conversations after all these years, keeps her opinions to herself - but in her mind, you're both off the mark. From what she could tell, Luca was yours as soon as he'd looked at you.

part 1 ❀ part 3 ❀ part 4
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Life aboard the Scarlet Pearl was unlike anything you imagined. You'd heard all the stories of the crew and their captain, of how they were ruthless and fearsome, in strength as well as in numbers. Yet, for as cunning as they were said to be, they were just as commendable.
Pirate King Maximoff and their crew were said to ravage their way through the richest cities and take as much as possible. The government did everything in their power to stop them, but the pirates were always five steps ahead. On top of that, weeks later after the pillaging, the lower class people were suddenly able to afford better meals, to keep the fires in their hearths going all night. They could finally afford to live comfortably.
There was no way for the government to question it without looking greedy or heartless, so to save the shame of having someone else take better care of their people, they kept quiet. They'd soon find that people who lived in better conditions were happier to do labor.
You'd admired Pirate King Wanda ever since.
Growing up with a silver spoon in your mouth made it so you never even had a moment to question where your next meal would come from, or if you'd freeze to death during winter. When you were young, you'd never thought to question it. As you grew older, however, it became more and more obvious to you that something was not right.
On the nights you'd sneak out of the Manor, dressed in one of your lady’s maids' old dresses and worn out boots, you'd head down to the pub and eavesdrop on the stories people would tell. It didn't take long to learn of the famous Pirate King, even less time to learn of how desperately the townspeople longed for them to show up here. You had no one to tell, but you wished the same.
So, the fateful night they finally arrived, you knew you had to join their crew and set sail with them. You couldn't bear another minute of being around people who looked down their nose at others who had less than they did.
Which leads you to the present, elbows resting on the ledge of the ship, reminiscing on the months that have passed since you arrived.
You'd been utterly shocked and embarrassed to find out the very pirate you so brazenly spoke to in the Manor was the Pirate King Maximoff herself. She'd had a good laugh about it, but ultimately didn't hold it against you. She didn't want anyone to know she was a woman, anyway. As much as it annoyed her to admit, people were more likely to be afraid of her if they thought she was a man. She always made sure those people regretted that, though.
The setting sun kisses your cheeks as you breathe in the salty air of the surrounding sea. You've worked hard to prove your worth, and you have the callouses to show for it. The crew were rightfully wary of you at first, but thankfully, it wasn't long before they welcomed you with open arms.
Pirate King Maximoff, while never rude or hateful, still kept somewhat of a distance from you, always watching you work from her place at the helm. Her chief mate, Natasha, is never far, ready and waiting for new orders to pass along. She was the hardest to crack, but you'd recently had a breakthrough that left you smiling in your bunk later that night.
The wind whips through your hair and you sigh. You couldn't imagine yourself anywhere else now.
“Shouldn't you be getting some grub with the rest of the crew?”
You spin around quickly, startled at her voice. Captain Maximoff stands a few feet away, her eyes calculating as they usually are. Her tan skin glows in the sunlight and you're reminded, once again, of how utterly… handsome she is.
“Captain,” you acknowledge with a tip of your head. “I… I just wanted to have a moment to myself first.”
“I see,” she replies, “then don't let me keep you.”
“No!”
She stops, turning to you with an eyebrow cocked. You hope the flush along your cheeks can pass as being under the sun for too long.
“I mean, um. You don't have to leave.”
She tilts her head, quiet for a moment as she reads your expression. She's very good at it. You'd learned that quickly.
Whatever she finds must be enough to convince her to stay, because a few seconds later she takes the spot beside you, clasping her hands behind her back as she stares into the water.
“Do you do this often?” she asks curiously.
You tear your eyes away from her profile and back to the horizon. “Sometimes,” you confess.
“What for?” she prods.
“I’m not entirely sure,” you say. “I guess to remind myself how small I am, how minuscule my existence is in this vast world. That what I’m doing and have done is right and for the betterment of others more important than I.”
The captain doesn't immediately reply, contemplating your words. When she does speak, it's quiet.
“You are important, though. You are not minuscule. What you have done is important, I cannot deny that, but you must know it is for your betterment as well.”
You turn your gaze to her, frowning. You find her already looking at you and her stare is hard, willing you to believe what she is saying.
“I would not have agreed to let you on my ship if I thought you were not a good person. You've more than paid your dues. I will not hear another self-deprecating word from you.”
You swallow past the lump in your throat. “Thank you, Captain.”
Her eyes flit back and forth between yours. Without a word, she grabs your wrist and begins walking away, leaving you no choice but to follow. You're smart enough not to question her.
She takes you to her quarters, and when she shuts the door behind you, the locking clicking into place with finality, your heart begins to race. She walks around you until she stands in front of you. You try to hold her stare, but soon find your eyes dropping to the hollow point of her neck.
You've longed to touch her golden skin for ages now, knowing you shouldn't, but unable to fight the desire. There have been times, fleeting moments, where you thought your Pirate King felt the same, thought you’d caught her looking at you with hunger rather than inquisitiveness. Like the way she's looking at you now.
Feeling bold, you raise your shaky hands to trace the exposed skin along her open collar.
“If you still feel you have debts to be repaid,” she starts, her hands coming up to your hips, “you may repay them directly to me.”
You finally meet her eyes again. Now, you wonder how you could have missed the yearning, the equal desire burning there. You grip her collar in your fists and pull her into a kiss. Like a dam being broken, the Captain presses closer into your body, now cupping your cheeks as she deepens the kiss, flicking her tongue along your bottom lip. You open for her with a gasp, groaning when she licks the roof of your mouth. Your head is spinning, eagerness turning the kiss sloppy, yet no less heated.
She begins moving backwards, tugging you with her as her lips trail down your neck, licking and sucking marks into the skin there that have you whining and begging for more. The back of her knees hit the edge of her bed and she falls easily onto it, taking you with her. She's got you on her lap, hands bunching up the skirts of your dress around your hips.
“I thought you were crazy for refusing to wear trousers on deck, but I must confess it's much better access this way,” she teases.
You smile, cheeks pinking. “I'd hoped you'd find me prettier than the others,” you admit.
“Trust me, from the moment I saw you, you were the most beautiful creature I'd ever had the pleasure of seeing.”
You have to kiss her again for that, tongue sliding against hers in a way that has you shivering and throbbing for more. You pull away, shifting back until you can kneel on the floor in front of her, holding her heavy-lidded stare.
“May I try something I've thought about, night after night since joining your crew?” you ask.
She nods with an interested quirk to her brows. You pull one of her legs forward so her boot is easier to get to. Biting your lip, you lift your skirts and yourself, shuffling forward and hovering for just a moment. When you lower yourself to sit atop her well-worn leather boot, it's still warm from the summer sun.
You see when it registers with her, what you're doing. Miraculously, the unflappable Pirate King’s cheeks begin flushing as you slowly grind your wet core on her boot.
“Christ,” she whispers.
You moan, clutching her thigh, your hips rolling your clit into the firm pressure of the leather. It feels far better than you expected. You rest your cheek on her knee, panting hotly against her trousers as you continue riding her boot. Movement out of the corner of your eye catches your attention. You moan when you realize she's unbuttoned her trousers and stuff her hand down them. You can see the way she's circling her fingers and it makes you grind faster.
She moans above you and your eyes snap to hers. She pushes your hair out of your face, tugging on your bottom lip. You suck her thumb into your mouth and she curses, eyes going glassy as her concentration splits between rubbing her own clit, watching your lips around her thumb, and the way your hips roll sinfully.
You're either an angel or the devil,” she decides.
You pull off her thumb to mutter, “I'm whoever you want me to be,” then suck it right back into your mouth.
“What if I said I wanted you to be mine?” she whispers.
You whimper, squeezing your eyes shut before opening them, sending her a pleading look as your hips pick up pace. Your pussy glides across her boot smoothly now, your wetness doing more than enough to help you along.
“Yeah? Wanna be the Pirate King’s kept woman? Want the rest of the crew to know you belong to me? I think you'd look even more stunning with my marks upon your beautiful neck.”
You can only nod, muffled moans slipping past her thumb in your mouth. Her hand quickens in her trousers and you stare, transfixed, your orgasm so close you can taste it.
“Come, my love. Come for me,” she pleads.
Your eyes roll back, the endearment going straight to your core. You grind harder, faster, until finally the building pleasure crests and swells and overwhelms you, coursing through your veins like wildfire. You moan and whimper, twitching as you ride out the high.
“You too,” you beg, breathless, pawing at her trousers until you can get your hand next to hers.
She cries out, then grits her teeth as your fingers help her reach climax. She throws her head back, mouth falling open on a silent moan as she comes, hips bucking into your hand.
“So beautiful, so handsome,” you praise and she groans, yanking your hand out of her trousers and tugging you back into her lap.
She kisses you fiercely, passion coating every second as the two of you come down. When you've both caught your breath, she kisses the tip of your nose, tipping both of you over to lie fully on the bed. She wipes her hand on her already soiled trousers, but you bite your lip, hesitating. Meeting her eyes once again, you lift your fingers, wet with her desire, to your mouth.
“A demon is what you are,” she accuses as you lick your fingers clean.
You smile. “You can't return me now. You're stuck with me, I'm afraid.”
She sighs dramatically. “Whatever shall I do with you?”
“I may have a few ideas, my Captain,” you tease,
She pushes you onto your back, kissing away your giggles until they turn into gasping moans.
(The crew hoot and holler when they see you next, your neck littered with bites, and a proud Pirate King smirking at your side.)

okay so first off, your stories are so great?? LIKE SUB SCARA TOO. *tucks hair behind ear and blinks cutely* I love your blog sm?? diehard submissive genshin boys right here ✌️
But if you want smthn other than smut, thennn... how about a really touchy reader going away for a good month for some sort of work related occasion and how the genshin guys would feel about being away from the reader's touch for so long?
if you can, mind if you include Xiao, too? 🥺 any other guy is fine too
That's all, have a good one, you cool person on tumblr ✨️
So used to your touch, but you've got work!
Characters: Scaramouche, Xiao x reader (separate)
SFW CONTENT
Summary: they're so used to your touches — hugs, kisses, hand holding — all of it. How would they feel if you're gone to do work and it's been a month without your loving touch?
A/n: THANK U SMM FOR UR KIND WORDS AAHHH— I just think putting a brat mf into his place is nice *smile* Anyways, thank u for ur ask <33 This was nice to write :] I'm sorry if it sort of sucks aahh I haven't written anything sfw for so long lol- I wanted to put in another character, but I got a little busy
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Xiao
Upon hearing that you'll be gone for a month, he allowed you to give him a long hug. Just so it could be burned into his memory for a while. Xiao's a busy man as well, needs to protect the citizens at dead of night. Yet he doesn't hesitate to come when you call him for a cuddle session. Spitting words of 'no respect for my work' as he doesn't let go of you while you play with his hair.
He's still busy when you're gone. But his mind is elsewhere when he fights. He knows you won't call for him since you're gone for work. Yet he hopes he'll hear you.
When he gets a little free time, Xiao goes to the room you were staying at while you were here. He remembers how whenever you called for him, you were always in the same spot, ready to give him your love! As much as he wants to say you're getting in the way of his work, you really aren't. You're a breath of fresh air and you're there to care for him.
Xiao wasn't the one for a lot of physical contact, but when you came along, he looks forward to it all the time. And now he's waiting for you to come back.
It's been a month. He's still fighting and checking in on your room. Sometimes he holds his own hands, even if it's embarrassing for him, just so he could remember how yours felt in his. How you peppered his face with kisses once you had finished cleaning up some wounds he got from some fights. Xiao knows you're busy. Is that how you feel when he's gone? Oh how he couldn't wait to go in your room and see the lights on.
Scaramouche
First few weeks he's relieved to be free of your constant intruding. Relieved, he says. In fact, he's getting more upset, worried? Scara wouldn't admit that he misses you. He misses you a lot
Yeah, you did inform him that you'll be gone for a month with a nervous smile and he had just shook his head, saying a simple okay. He didn't expect it to be so boring and lonely.
Whenever Scaramouche comes home, you're already running around the corner to greet him with kisses. When he's just making something in the kitchen, you appear, setting your head on his shoulder, hands around his waist. Or those random touches whenever he's just sitting on the couch, watching boring news while working.
Yeah, he missed it alright. That's why he spends more time at work, just so he wouldn't have to go to an empty house. At some point he's wondering if you just left him, not thinking of coming back. Just a few days and it'll be a month without you.
Even if it felt like more than a month. Scaramouche can only imagine your touch now. He's deep in his thoughts and waits for you to return. He just wants you back. See your stupid smile whenever he speaks about his dumb coworkers. He would never admit he misses you or your touch. He often sits in silence and wonders, will the door open and your cheery voice come through?

Black Christmas 🎄
Pairing: Wednesday x You (any gender)
Summary: It's the Holiday season and this time you are spending it at Nevermore Academy since your folks aren't around this year. Wednesday and the rest of the crew are also at Nevermore this year so you decided to do something special for your Girlfriend, Wednesday Addams.
WordCount: 1.5k words
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You knock on a dorm door on Christmas night the stillness in the air made you reminisce of home. you lived outside the city but your quiet town wasn't too bad, The quiet nights with barely any cars driving through and the falling snow made you feel calm.
You hear the door begin to unlock and you see a bubbly blonde girl with colorful dyed hair opens the door. "Oh hey Y/N! I'm just now heading down to the Holiday party with Thing." You can see the stitched-up hand on Enid's shoulder waving at you with his index finger.
"Hey Thing." you say to him "Wednesday inside?" You ask the two
"Yea you know Ms. Gloomy, typing away at her typewriter," says Enid with her sarcastic but bubbly grin
"I can hear you" you can hear Wednesday exclaim from inside the room
"Good luck and don't miss out on the holiday party! We definitely need you and Wednesday to complete our dancing crew"
Thing begins to tap on Enid's as if he is asking if he was a part of the dance crew.
"Of course, Thing. I can't wait to tear it up with you" She says as they begin to walk down the hallways leading to the party below in Nevermore's halls.
You walk in to see the half-colorful and half-black room the two girls share. As Enid said there was Wednesday typing away at her typewriter. You get closer and look at the sheets of paper that were typed and put to the side of her desk or the papers that were thrown away in the waste bin.
"How's the story going?" You ask
The ding of the of typewriter hits the emptiness of the room and Wednesday takes the page out and crumbles it up and throws it on the floor.
"Not that great huh?" you say as you pick up the crumpled paper and check its contents. "Wow, you are writing a Christmas section of your book?"
"Viper's partner has invited her to a Christmas gathering. I cant seem to put into words of a Christmas celebration other than setting fire to a tree and dancing on the ashes as my mother and father would do." She exclaims while putting in a new sheet of paper in the typewriter.
After you and Wednesday decided to begin dating her writing shifted a bit from being a loner. She added two new characters that help her solve her cases. A ragtag sweet talker who had the strength of 40 men and Viper's partner that always has her back. Clearly, you could tell it was based on you and Enid, Wednesady would never admit it though.
As Wednesday begins to write up another attempt of doing this section of the story. You put your hand on hers and say "How about a break?" "Let's go to the party downstairs. It could be a lot of fun" you say to her but she seems reluctant to go downstairs and deal with all the bright lights and happy times.
"No. I rather work on this section. The sooner the better I don't have to worry about this Christmas fiasco" she said. You grab her chair and spin her around to look at you. "Wednesday it's Christmas. It's time to spend time with the people you love. Your family is in the Real Bermuda Triangle....Whatever that means. So you are here with me Enid and Thing."
Wednesday looks at you with open eyes, her pupils were as dark as the midnight sky. "How about this you come with me to give you your Christmas gift and if you are still not up to the Christmas spirit, then you can go back to wringing your story" you say.
Wednesday gets up from her chair with her platform black boots. "Deal" she replies and puts on her black jacket.
"By the way, You have to close your eyes" you explain
After 10 mins of leading Wednesday through hallways and stairs. You finally make it. "Ok just hold on a few seconds," you say as you begin to shift around moving things and putting things into place. You move behind her and slowly say "Ok....open them"
Wednesday slowly opens to see the Nightshade room has been turned into a dark morbid Christmas Addams wonderland. Wednesday was stunned but as you know no emotion shows on her face. "I tried to do my best with what I had. Was tricky getting the Christmas tree black, let's just say it's a huge fire hazard."
In the middle of the room, there is a black Christmas tree that has been littered with skull ornaments. scorpions, severed baby doll heads.
"This is absolute, dark, horrid, and downright distasteful.....I love it" said Wednesday with a slight smirk as she looked at the Christmas tree. Every Ornament seemed to be brought from a shop from in town. Then Wednesday notices an ornament that seems to be a picture of You, Wednesday, Enid, Thing, Eugene Xavier and Bianca/ She raised her hand to put it on the Christmas tree and the picture as she got closer "Ash... you sprinkled ash on it"
"Yea, since we can't burn it I burned a couple branches on the campus grounds and brought the ashes here. The Groundskeepers are not gonna be happy with the scorched earth." you said as you started to rummage through a bag that was on a chair nearby. a black skinny rectangle present with a silver bow and ribbon was taken out the bag.
"Hey" you say to Wednesday.
She turns around to see you holding out a present to her.
"What's this all about?" she asks
"Merry Christmas," you say with a bright smile on her face and hand it over to Wednesday
She opens them and begins to widen her eyes it's a picture of you and her and you got her a hardcover Notepad with a Raven standing on top of a skull with her initials on it.
"Just a little something to have me always with you and while you are gone something to write when you don't want to move over to the typewriter." you say.
Wednesday looks at the picture of you two, the day was very special for her. This was the day you both did a cemetery date on a full moon. It was interesting to watch the Wolf Pack wolf out and have a great time. You made ink black pasta which took you a couple mistakes until you got it right but it was worth it.
"Thank you," she said with her normal Wednesday tone. She looked around and put her picture of you two down then reached inside the book and found an ink fountain pen inside. She began to write inside the book. You tried to look over her shoulder but she was blocking it with her small stature.
She got up and held the book to her chest.
"You ok?" you ask
She turned around to face you and held up the book and opened up the first page to show you a page writing that says "You are the candle in my dark ice path in the night. I love you, Merry Christmas." You smile at the gesture, Wednesday pulls the book down to reveal her face and shows she was slightly blushing but still had her half-dead emotionless face.
"I love you too Wednesday....my" You say then try to remember what her father says to her mother. "Mi Caria"
She smiles and chuckles at your horrible pronunciation but you did your best. "Mon Cher" she says laying the book down on the chair and hugs you and looks up at you.
You take out your cell phone and begin to play some classical music to dance to from a nearby Bluetooth speaker. You hold up your hand and grab it and you dance and look into the eyes of each other. Wednesday lays her head on your chest as you dance and you smile since you never felt so vulnerable and loved from one person.
"I think i know how im going to end that section of the story now with Viper." Wednesday says to you as you two continue to dance.
"Oh how so...." you say looking down at her
Wednesday Addams the little dark starlight of Nevermore Academy looks into you with her black eyes as if she is pulling you in with magic.
"Like this" she says as she places her hands on the sides of your face and pulls you towards her and kisses you on the lips. She is usually super cold but this time her lips are warm as if she is melting away any ice between you two.
"Now that is my kind of ending" you smile and so does she. "Wanna go to the holiday party, I know Enid and Thing are waiting on us" as you gesture towards the top of the stairs to go back to the school.
Wednesday nods "But I have a Christmas present for you back in my room....Well, two now. So we have to get that first"
"Awesome! I can't wait to see what it is." You exclaim
"Let's just say one of them you are going to need to stretch." she says with a smirk
(Didn't think I would be able to write another Wednesday story. I just finished watching the show and wow loved it. For this one, everyone is aged up just because of the way it ends.
Its Christmas and i wanted to write another story. So here we are. It was a fun one to do after my Christmas events. So it was a good time. The funny thing about this story is it was going to be short then turned into this ahaha. But either way if you have any ideas for another story hit the Ask button below!
Thanks and love you all and be sure to leave a comment on the story to help me improve. I know I'm not the best writer but its fun.)

Tumblr media Tumblr media
The last thing you remembered before waking up was celebrating your first major score with Max. Playing the part of a down to earth girl, you got the attention of a next generation business tycoon. A few dates here and a sob story there about your deadbeat dad in debt with the wrong kind of people, that poor sap did what he could to help get your family out of trouble. Not only did you make off with more than double the intended amount, it took even less time than you planned.
You almost felt bad, but it didn't make a dent in the guy's inheritance.
You impressed Max. Made him proud. He told you that before he kissed you and danced the night away. You expected to be on a plane with him to the Bahamas by now.
Instead, the two of you found yourselves in a dark room with a single lamp and no windows, still in your clothes from the night before.
"Hey," Max said as your eyes adjusted to the dim light. He didn't look roughed up, thank God, but his hair was a bit of a mess and he was cuffed to a metal chair by the ankles and wrists. "You okay?"
You weren't hurt, minus a slight headache, but you didn't want to admit to him that you were afraid.
"I'm okay. You?"
"Peachy," he deadpanned, arching his back like he was trying to get comfortable.
"What's going on?" you asked as you tried to stand only to find yourself strapped to your chair, too. It didn't budge as you attempted to tip it since it was likely bolted to the floor. And even if you had something to pick the cuffs, you couldn't reach it. "Where are we?"
"I don't know," he said as you struggled. "Just take a deep breath and sit still."
"Sit still? Are you kidding me? We-"
"Sit. Still."
"Yes, sir," you muttered.
You weren't sure how Max was so calm, but you eventually stopped moving. Did your now "ex-boyfriend" arrange this once he realized you played him? No, Max assured you that the mark was a safe target, that he wouldn't find or go after you.
So what the hell was going on?
The single door to your left swung open and you tried not to tense up as a man you didn't recognize entered the room. You weren't sure who you were expecting, but you didn't imagine a built, gorgeous man with light brown hair to grace you with his presence. The touch of scruff on his face added to his good looks.
Why am I fixated on how handsome this guy is when I'm strapped to a chair?
"Good. You're awake," the guy said, checking to make sure you were still secure. "Max."
"Nick," he said, not giving anything away as he sized him up.
It wasn't easy to get a read on someone like Max. Most of the time, you never knew what was true when he spoke to you and what was an act. That's how good he is.
A lingering silence stretched as the temperature in the room seemed to rise. Or maybe your body began to warm up from the unease of the situation. "So, you two know each other."
"We do," Nick confirmed, placing the back of his hand on your forehead. For some reason, you didn't flinch at this touch. "Mmm. You feel a bit warm."
"Don't touch her."
Max didn't raise his voice, but something about the slight possessiveness in his voice and Nick's touch nearly made you moan. You shook your head lightly as Nick's hand fell away. Was fear bringing out some undiscovered kink? Or maybe you were going into a fight or flight response.
"I'm sorry we had to meet under these circumstances, sweetheart."
Sweetheart?
"What exactly are the circumstances, Agent Fowler?" Max asked, his shoulders slumped in a bored stance.
Agent? Fuck!
Nick kept his attention on you as he rolled up the sleeves of his sweater. "I work for the CIA," he told you as you swallowed. When did your throat go dry? "Your friend Max and I go way back."
You glanced at Max as Nick walked behind him, but he kept his face neutral.
"He fucked me over on a deal. Took a beating from my boss when I showed up empty handed. Had to work my way back up."
Max didn't confirm nor deny Nick's claim.
Your eyes narrowed. Max bribed cops occasionally, but you didn't know it went as deep as the CIA. That would explain why he was here.
But what about you?
"When I heard he was back in the city, I didn't take him in. I watched him," Nick continued, smacking Max's shoulders lightly before he moved beside him. "Both of you. He taught you well."
You didn't squirm as Nick looked you up and down, but something in his gaze left you dizzy.
"Congrats on the score, by the way, but you should really watch who makes your celebratory drinks."
That explains the headache. Just don't say anything. He can't do anything if you keep your mouth shut.
"You two were about to head to the Bahamas, right?" Nick casually asked.
"Yeah," you and Max said at the same time.
Max's brows pinched as you shook your head again, feeling a bit lightheaded.
Maybe he'd give you some water if you asked politely.
"So, Max may have screwed you over," you said carefully, trying to shift the topic away from the recent con. "That's why we're here?"
Nick nodded as he approached you and checked your forehead again. Why did he keep doing that? Why did his touch feel so nice?
You almost licked your lips when he smiled down at you, trying your best to ignore how handsome he was. "You know I had nothing to do with whatever went down between the two of you and I'm sorry it went south, but we can make it right."
Your gaze flickered to Max. As much as he taught you not to let your emotions get the best of you, worry crept into your eyes because you cared. You didn't want Nick to hurt him.
Max, on the other hand, showed nothing behind his blue eyes.
"I'm sure you will," Nick assured you. "For the record, I'm not sending you to jail or letting your old 'boyfriend' know where you are. I just want to ask some questions."
The chuckle Max sounded harsh to your ears. "You set this whole thing up for questions? That's dramatic."
"I guess it is," Nick shrugged.
Your eyes dropped to his hands and bit your lip when you saw the veins, reminiscent of Max's when they roamed your body.
What the hell was the matter with you?
"And what makes you think we'll answer your questions?" Max asked.
Nick smirked as he crouched down so he was at eye level with Max. "Where's Madeline and when's the last time you spoke with her?"
You never met Madeline, but you knew she took Max under her wing. They were involved for some time as well before she screwed him over. Could anyone in the game ever trust each other?
I can trust Max though, right?
Max glared, tight-lipped, as he slowly exhaled through his nose. "You tell me, agent," he said before the back of Nick's hand met his cheek, making his head snap to the side.
"Please, don't hurt him," you begged.
"All he has to do is answer me."
Max, to his credit, didn't make a sound as he glared at the agent, but he did begin to shift in his seat. His hands gripped the chair as he breathed in and out through his nose. It almost looked like he was struggling not to snap. "Oklahoma City. A year ago," he finally answered, his voice a bit strained.
"Very good," Nick grinned, smacking the opposite cheek lightly before he glanced between the two of you. "See, while you two were knocked out, I injected you both with a serum. Something we usually reserve for extreme interrogations. I know many people think truth elixirs don't exist, but they very much do. That's how I know you'll answer my questions."
You felt your heart rate increase as Max scoffed. "Bullshit. You have no way of knowing if we're lying or telling the truth."
"Oh, Max. You're so used to lying that you almost believe it. That was why your voice sounded so strained," Nick said, pushing himself up and crossing his arms. "Because while your instinct is to lie, the drug makes you want to tell the truth. Resisting it is extremely uncomfortable. Even the most disciplined of liars cave."
"So, what do you want?" Max demanded. "Revenge because I fucked you over?"
"So you admit that you did," Nick said, his jaw clenching.
Max's mouth snapped shut.
"May I have a glass of water?" you asked gently.
Nick smiled to himself, which unnerved you. "I'm sure you're feeling a bit parched, but I'll take care of that later," he said, slowly pacing around your chair. "When did you start working with Max?"
You took a couple of breaths in and out, a light burning sensation moving from your head all the way down to your toes when you didn't answer immediately. Nick wasn't lying when he said it was uncomfortable.
"About a year ago," you said, taking another breath. It wasn't as strained as Max's first answer. Maybe because he had been lying longer than you have. "I almost got caught lifting a wallet and he stepped in and helped. I haven't looked back."
Max may have both saved and damned you that day.
Nick hummed, brushing his fingers along the back of your neck. Your back bowed and the action didn't go unnoticed by Max since he sneered at the agent. "Was this your first big score?"
"It was," you exhaled, closing your eyes briefly. "He had me do odds and ends jobs to be sure I was ready."
"When did he start fucking you?" he pressed, his fingers gripping the back of your neck hard enough to make you gasp when you didn't speak right away. "C'mon. You're doing so well."
You gazed at Max through your lashes. The tingling began again like a flame was close to your skin. "Six months ago," you said after a few seconds.
"You care about Max, don't you?" Nick questioned, releasing your neck as he moved beside you. As much as you missed his touch, which was strange, you kept your eyes on Max.
"Yes, I do," you said softly, not trying to resist this time. "How could I not?"
The questions confused you. If Nick had been watching you, then he already knew you and Max were sleeping with each other. Why ask about it?
"Do you like fucking her, Max?" Nick asked.
"Of course, I do."
Why did that make you want to preen?
"I'm sure you do," Nick said, giving you an almost apologetic gaze before he asked the next question. "But you were also planning to ditch her in the Bahamas, weren't you?"
No.
A second passed followed by another. The man across from you avoided your gaze as he hesitated to answer. Max wasn't the kind of man to hesitate. He was trying to lie.
His silence was the worst kind of answer.
"At first, yes," Max admitted, gritting his teeth before he continued. "Fuck, I only saved her that day so I could use her. It paid off. I was going to leave her with enough to get by for a short time and take the rest for myself."
You deflated, unable to mask the hurt you felt as your vision blurred. You thought you meant something to him beyond the job. Of course, you were just another mark. A stepping stone for him to get what he wanted.
You should've seen it coming, yet he blindsided you.
How?
"Why?" you asked breathily even though you were upset. It was getting more difficult to concentrate. Did Nick give you too much serum?
Max held his head high. "Because that's the job. I'm not supposed to feel anything. None of us are. Feelings jeopardize what we do. So I planned to walk away from you," he explained, trying to get out of his chair for the first time. "But things changed, okay? You changed my mind."
Nick regarded you, his gaze softening as you rapidly blinked. "Were you planning to screw him over?"
A tear slid down your cheek as you looked Max in the eye. Was he worth crying over when you weren't worth a thing to him? "No," you whispered, glancing away from both of them.
"Hey, look at me," Max gently ordered. You didn't listen. "I know I'm a piece of shit, but I wasn't going to leave you. Nick is trying to fuck with your head. It's what he does."
Well, it's working.
"Bullshit," you muttered, sniffling. "I don't mean anything to you."
"I care about you so much. Fuck, I may even love you," Max said like it pained him to do so. "I can't lie about that. Look at me, please."
"I don't think she wants to look at you, Max."
"He's right. I don't," you said before you could stop yourself.
"Baby, listen-"
"No! You fucking liar!" you yelled, wishing you could fling yourself across the room and smack him. "I let you in. I gave you everything and you were going to leave me, you asshole!"
Your chest heaved as the room went quiet. You had more that you wanted to say, but already felt vulnerable enough given the circumstances. It wasn't like it would make a difference. Max probably had another job lined up and a new girl to take under his wing.
Nick moved to stand in front of you, effectively blocking Max from your view. "Look at me, sweetheart," he whispered, wiping a stray tear from your cheek. "Now you know the truth. The kind of man he really is. I'm sorry."
"Nick, I said don't touch-"
"Shut the fuck up, Max," Nick said coldly enough that you froze and he wasn't speaking to you. "He can't help himself. It's what he does."
"Don't act like you're the hero," you scoffed, wishing you could be anywhere but there. "What do you want?"
Nick didn't seem surprised that you got back to business as he crouched beside you. "Heard you two got more than double your original score. I want half."
"Fine. Half. It's yours," you agreed before Max could argue. As far as you were concerned he had no say.
Nick tilted his head as he traced a finger along your jaw. "That easy?"
Your eyelids fluttered. You needed to concentrate. "Yeah, that easy. Now if those are the last of your bullshit questions, will you let me go?"
"Do you find me attractive?"
You sputtered at the shift in topic, heat blooming between your thighs as Nick gazed at you. "Yes," you said, your eyes wide when he smirked. "Shit."
"I don't think Max heard you, sweetheart. You might want to say it again."
"Yes, I find you attractive, okay? You both look weirdly alike," you said, not looking at Max as you let out a breath. "Fuck, I hate this fucking serum."
It was strange. If Nick grew his hair out and darkened it, and shaved, he'd look like Max. God, was he related to him, or was that a coincidence?
You didn't want to examine that thought any further at the moment.
"Why did you ask me that?" you asked, whimpering when Nick's fingertip grazed the column of your neck.
"Because I want him to know that you want me," Nick said as a matter of fact.
"Why?"
"Maybe I want to fuck him over. Maybe I want to fuck you. Maybe both."
Perhaps you were the closest thing Nick could get to revenge. He could've locked Max away or beat the shit out of him, but he brought you into this mess. Even if he let you go and Max could prove that he cared about you now, that trust wouldn't be easy to repair should the two of you leave together.
You laughed because you weren't sure how else to react to the situation. Max fucked Nick over and planned to do the same to you. Did Nick want to fuck you so he could say he got his girl?
But I'm not actually Max's girl, am I?
"Well, fucking me would fuck him over."
The way your pussy throbbed, you enjoyed that idea.
"I won't tell you again not to touch her," Max said louder than before.
"You don't get a vote," you snapped, as good as it felt that he wanted Nick to stay away from you.
"Plus, she wants me to touch her," Nick said, his hand drifting down to your breasts. He barely touched you and you felt like you were on fire. "Don't you, sweetheart?"
You tried not to reply. You tried to hold it back, especially when you felt Max's icy gaze on you, but you couldn't stop yourself. Bitter desperation flowed through you at your lack of control. "Yes."
"Good girl," Nick said as he moved his hand down to push your dress up. "Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention. You may have been wondering why you feel a bit warm. Maybe even dizzy or aroused. The serum I gave you had a little something extra in it."
"What the fuck did you give her?" Max said above a whisper, practically vibrating in his seat with true anger you hadn't witnessed from him before.
"Just a bit of an aphrodisiac," Nick said with an all too proud smile. "She'll feel a little better once she gets off."
Well, fuck.
It could've been a lie, but it would explain why your body felt hot and why you were reacting to their words and Nick's touch.
Your legs parted as much as they could with an airy moan as Nick slid his hand up your thigh, the warmth between your legs smoldering compared to the icy air surrounding you. "You're an asshole."
Nick tutted as he pushed your soaked panties aside with his thumb. "Now that's no way to speak to the man who's going to fuck you dumb, is it?"
You attempted to squirm away from his touch as he brushed his fingers along your folds. Your cunt wept for him before he even brushed your clit, an embarrassingly loud and sensual sound escaping as his finger moved in teasing circles. You should've been ashamed as Max watched Nick play with you, but it turned you on more.
"You know if he hadn't fucked me over, I wouldn't have found you. Lucky me," Nick said, sliding a finger with little resistance. "So fucking wet and already twitching around me. Can't wait to feel that around my cock."
"You made your fucking point," Max said, his voice low and throaty. Maybe this was turning him on, too. "She had nothing to do with what went down between us and she already said you'd get half of the money, so let her go."
Nick pressed gentle kisses along your cheek and temple as he pushed a second finger in, your thighs shaking lightly as they plunged deep. He pressed the heel of his hand against your clit with enough force to make you cry out. "You always know how to ruin a good thing, Max. And I can't wait to ruin her. I should be thanking you."
"Fuck you."
"No, but I will fuck her," he promised, smiling against your skin. "And you'll watch."
Oh, fuck.
"She's not a slut for you to use," your partner argued.
Ex-partner.
"No, Max, you're the one who uses people," Nick reminded him, curling his fingers as you moaned and ground your hips. "And she may not be a slut, but it won't stop me from fucking her like one."
"Please," you moaned, unsure of what you were asking for. All you knew was that your body was ready to burst into flames.
"It's okay, baby," Max said, his breathing heavy as you met his gaze. "It's okay."
"How sweet. Like you need his permission to let me touch you when I'm the one in control," Nick said, his scruff tickling your skin. "Don't worry. I'll make it good for you."
Your cheeks went hot, your head spinning as he played your body like a well-tuned instrument. You weren't sure if you were eager to feel Nick inside you because of the aphrodisiac or because some part of you wanted Max to hurt. Maybe both.
"Tell her how pretty she looks, Max," Nick suggested. It sounded more like an order.
Max's tongue poked out to wet his upper lip as you panted. "You're so fucking pretty, baby. You always are."
The praise sent another wave of arousal through you.
"She likes hearing that," Nick mocked, but you were too blissed out to care. "Don't worry, Max. You'll still get your money. I get to fuck her. And it's not like she's not getting anything out of it either. We all win," he said, moving his fingers faster as the coil tightened in your lower abdomen.
Max drank in your pleasured expression with a groan. "Don't hurt my girl," he pleaded.
His girl.
Nick chuckled when you mewled. "She isn't your girl anymore, but I won't hurt her. Hell, maybe I'll even let you fuck her one more time," Nick offered like he wasn't knuckles deep in your pussy. "But I'm not letting her go. Not after I ruin every hole of hers and make her mine."
The intensity of his words made your core pulse and explode, crying out with your release. The gush of wetness soaked Nick's fingers and the seat beneath you as a fresh wave of tears threatened to spill over. He pulled the digits free once you rode out the intense orgasm, gently kissing the corner of your mouth.
"Next time, you don't come until I say so," he whispered, taking the opportunity to kiss your lips when you turned your head.
Your mind was still in a haze as he coaxed you to kiss him back. Once he pulled away, you dared to look over at Max, clenching when you saw the bulge in his pants. He couldn't even touch himself to get off.
You allowed yourself to close your eyes as you recovered, your breathing evened out after a minute as you opened them. The orgasm made you feel a little better like Nick said, but you still wanted more. Why?
"You still care about Max?" Nick asked, groaning as he licked his fingers clean.
"I shouldn't, but yes," you admitted.
Damn him, but you still cared.
Max let out a breath and actually smiled softly.
"You still want me?" Nick asked, keeping his eyes on you as he stood up, even as your gaze went to his crotch.
The guy drugged you, abducted you, took advantage of you, and didn't give you any water, but you wanted him.
You clearly had some issues you needed to sort out at a later date.
"I shouldn't want you either, but yes."
"She really is perfect, Max. Just like you said she'd be."
The air crackled with tension as Max smirked and your thighs began to shake all over again. "What?"
"Oh, baby. I wish I could say I'm sorry, but I'm not," Max said, twisting his wrist a couple of times before the cuff came loose. He could've freed himself the entire time? "You're just so much fun to play with."
"Hey. Don't be mean to our girl," Nick said as Max got his other hand free.
Our girl?
"I guess that was rude," Max agreed, rubbing his right wrist. "I'll make it up to you."
"What the hell is this?" you asked, gripping the chair so hard your fingers ached. "What the fuck, Max?! Was this some twisted game?”
"Not really a game, but it was fun," Nick said, moving behind your chair and reaching around to grope your breasts. "See, Max really did fuck me over and I really did keep an eye on you two. It was fun watching you. Could see why he kept you around."
You arched into his touch, unable to push his hands away as Max licked his lips.
"But Nick got tired of watching and confronted me before the job was done. I offered to make things right if he let us finish it. Money. The promise of me helping with a few ops since I do have a few skills," Max explained, unbuckling his pants with a sigh. "And the cherry on top: you."
"You were going to trade me?"
Max had the audacity to look offended. "Not trade. I wasn't going to let you go. I told you, baby, I care about you."
You would've given anything to believe that, but the words sounded hollow. And if it was the truth, it didn't set you free. It shackled you, just like you were to the chair.
"So we decided on a compromise: we share you," Nick said, pinching your nipples through the fabric. "And the way you came on my fingers with Max watching, I know you want both of us. Didn't I say you'd get something out of this?"
They can't be serious.
You felt like you were going to be sick. "The serum?" you whimpered.
Was it all an act to get in your head?
"It was Nick's idea to do this 'interrogation' as his own form of personal punishment for me and he really did inject you with something to sweeten the deal," Max said unashamedly. "Even now when you're afraid and upset you still want us. You admitted it. And I know that greedy cunt of yours needs to be filled up."
Damn him for being right.
"Let me go," you whispered, needing to get far away from them. "Please."
"Let you go? Oh, you won't even be able to walk after you've had us both," Nick swore as you whined. "We'll have to carry you out."
"But we won't tell you where we're taking you. It's a surprise," Max said, his smile as cold as his eyes as he took his cock out. "Now get her out of that chair so I can watch you fuck her. I want her sobbing and begging before I fuck her, too."

Nick and Max wouldn't plot against each other down the road, would they? Hehe. Love and thanks for reading! ❤️

Ahhhh so I have to admit I have been working on something, it's a very big project for me.
It's 30 000 words long as of now, and I estimate to be about 1/2 - 2/3 of the way through the story. I'm super excited about it, however I don't want to get to a point where I'm almost done and don't finish, which is why I am writing it so much.
I want everyone in the kyalin Fandom to be right there with me when it's ready. So I'm going to do my best to finish it before I start posting.
How would I describe it???
A Kyalin mystery slowburn
Here's a snippet from Chapter 3 (spoilers ahead)
“Here,” Tenzin said, passing Lin a notice.
“So secretive,” Kya joked, pretending to lean over.
“It's not that secret,” Tenzin said, “two more came forward getting letters, bringing the total to-”
“Forty-nine.” Lin finished. The names added to the list weren't familiar to her. An Earth Republic mayor, and a fire nation general. “Something tells me there's one more out there,” Lin said.
“You think? An even 50?”
“Stopping at forty-nine would be good thinking on their end,” Kya said, “I mean, it would have everyone worried over the 50th letter, which doesn't exist.” She elaborated.
Lin raised an eyebrow, shrugging it off.
“What are the odds they get out anyway?” Kya asked.
“You mean the dirt?” Lin clarified.
“Yeah. Are the threats… real? Do you think they actually know something, or is it… broad enough to make yo- people think they did something.”
“Well we've bounced around that idea for a while,” Lin said, “but I think the general consensus was that… they were a little too close for comfort.” She looked to Tenzin, whose harrowing eyes reflected the anxieties of her own.
Her own letter bounced around in the back of brain, waiting to be unpacked. She had divulged so much into dealing with the case, and worrying about Suyin, she hadn't put much thought into how she would deal with the information revealed by her letter.
What she would do.
What she would say.
She didn't inherently think she had anything to be ashamed of, but there were plenty others who wouldn't see it that way.
It would be career ending, perhaps enough to chase her out of town in search of a fresh start.
If Suyin was still alive, Zaofu could make for a nice retirement place.
“Excuse me for a moment,” she said, getting up. She made for the bathroom down the hall, but instead opened the window at the end of the hall.
Delicately, and with precision, even in her wine-induced stupor, she climbed outside, hanging onto the ledge.
She'd done it a thousand times in her teen years. Scaling the air temple had been a right of passage, and a necessity, when she was with Tenzin.
It was second nature to her as she hauled herself to the upper floor.
Luckily, the window wasn't locked and she got back inside with ease.
She walked quietly down the hall, praying she didn't wake the kids. It was as she remembered. Almost nothing had changed, and a strange wave of deja vu overcame her.
It ended when she entered the left door, and not the right.
Kya's room was one she hadn't been in much, especially as she got older. It looked as she had envisioned. It was tasteful and colorful. Lin envied her ability to pick out pictures and tapestries of varied colors, still managing to make them go together.
First she checked the nightstand, which had a lot of interesting things, but nothing she was looking for.
She checked the duffle bag on the chair, nothing but clothes and towels.
She sighed, looking around.
She noticed the bed was lifted slightly off the floor. Tenzin used to keep… stuff under his bed.
Perhaps these airhead all thought alike.
She got on her knees before laying herself gently onto her stomach.
She outstretched an arm under the bed, feeling around until her palm landed on a box.
She pulled it out, and allowed herself to stand up before setting it on the bed and opening it.
The unmistakable waxy green seal.
The inky handwriting on the back with a clear name designation.
The clear indication that it had been open and removed multiple times.
She held it in her hand, her fingers frozen.

NOAH KAHAN - STICK SEASON [WE'LL ALL BE HERE FOREVER] WRITING CHALLENGE MASTERLIST
---------------------
I felt a pit in my stomach as I walked to the door of the restaurant.
This wasn't even my place of employment. I had no obligations or expectations here, but I still had raging anxiety sitting in my chest.
Maybe it was the association I had with early rising and restaurant doors. Maybe it was the memories of yelling and pressure and intensity. Maybe it wasn't related to any of that. Maybe it was all just fear over seeing someone that I hadn't seen in a while that meant the world to me.
I shook my head, trying to calm myself down. It wasn't successful.
Once I accepted that I couldn't just dismiss my anxiety, I picked up my hand and knocked on the door.
I stepped backward, taking a few more deep breaths.
The front door opened suddenly. I felt a need to collapse to the ground when I saw Luca in the doorway. I fought that need.
"Hey," I said awkwardly, messing around with the strap of my duffel bag.
"You made it," he replied happily, stepping forward to hug me tightly. I closed my eyes as I hugged him back. "I told you to call me when you were on your way. I would have made plans to get you settled."
"I know, I know," I muttered as I stepped back.
"I'll call someone in, so I can get you set up in the guest room-"
"No, no," I shook my head. "I came here to see where you're working. That was your offer."
He chuckled. "Well, come on in then."
I followed him into the restaurant. I looked around at the sparkling location. Shining counters, organized inventory, the blue sign just under the clock that read 'Every Second Counts'.
"What do you think," he asked.
"It's beautiful," I mumbled, still looking around the entire building.
"Oh, believe me, this is nothing," he waved it off. I looked back at him. "Well, nothing when compared to the quality of the food."
I chuckled. "Impress me."
"I always do."
He tapped a part of the steel tabletop so I could stand across from him. He continued working while I put my bag down next to me.
It felt weird to watch someone else cook. I had grown so accustomed to running around the kitchen and getting as much work done as physically possible. But now, I was standing there, twiddling my thumbs. It just felt... wrong.
"Do you... Do you need help with anything," I asked.
"No, no," he shook his head. "I am making something for you. You are on a trip."
I held my hands up. "Alright, alright."
The silence after that was nice.
It was the first time since getting on the flight that I didn't find myself fixated on the work that I was missing. I was finally letting myself breathe. I couldn't relax fully. I don't think that I had the ability to. It was still momentary bliss.
"How've you been," Luca said after a while.
"Good, good," I replied, playing it as polite. Like I would speak with my relatives at big family dinners and shit like that.
"You're still working in Chicago?"
"I haven't worked there in a while," I explained. "I moved to New York. Carmen Berzatto apparently mentioned my name a while ago."
"He did?"
I nodded.
"I don't remember him ever being that kind... did he have a change of heart?"
"Honestly, I think it was an accident."
Luca laughed, having to stop what he was doing for a few moments. "That sounds more like him."
I chuckled with him.
"But New York is good?"
"Yeah, yeah. It's the dream, right? The big-time restaurant and the fancy guests."
"I guess so."
His eyes moved to me. I saw them trace me, looking for a sign of... something. I shifted a bit in my spot, grinning at him. I wanted to know what he was looking for. I wanted to know what he was thinking of me.
"How are you doing," he said.
"You asked that already."
"I know but you told me that everything is good yet you're sitting in front of me on a very sudden trip to a different country."
"You invited me out to visit-"
"Yet you didn't tell me when you were on your way."
I froze. He was right.
"What's going on?"
I took a deep breath. "I... I took a leave of absence."
"What," he asked. "Can I ask why?"
"I... I broke," I confessed.
Admitting it felt like some kind of betrayal to myself. I was already dealing with enough guilt from running away from work, but now there was even more guilt because it wasn't just because of my own weakness.
"I was in the kitchen, in the middle of dinner rush, and then everything felt like it froze," I continued. "And I... I couldn't move or talk. I was just... gone. And then, it all hit me at once. I couldn't breathe. Nothing made sense. Everything was going too fast. It just... it wouldn't go back to normal.
"If it had just been that once, then I could have explained it away as nothing. But it just kept happening over and over.
"I could hide it for a while but then, I just kind of snapped. I ran out of the kitchen; I hid in the alley out back and just sobbed. I just remember thinking that I had to get out. So, I decided to take the leave of absence and try to figure out what the fuck was wrong with me."
"I'm sorry," Luca said. "That sounds terrifying."
I just kind of shrugged.
"Are you... Are you seeing a therapist at all?"
"I have an appointment set for when I get home. I just... I needed something- someone familiar."
Luca stepped out from behind the counter so he could drag me into another tight hug. I closed my eyes, hiding my face in his shoulder. That was the most detail I had told anyone about how I had been feeling.
"Can I ask you something," he asked after a little while. I hummed. "Why don't you just leave entirely?"
I scoffed as I stepped back. "And go where?"
"I don't know... here?"
I shook my head.
"I could put in a good word-"
"I can't do that," I stopped him. "I can't just run away."
"Why not?"
"Do you have any idea how hard I have worked for this?" I snapped. "How much of my life has been dedicated to this?"
"That doesn't mean that you have to end up hurting yourself!"
"You don't get it!" I stepped even farther away. "I don't just do this for me. New York is the best place for me to make everyone happy. It's for my family whether it be supporting them or giving my mom a chance to see her dream that she didn't get to pursue or for my dad to get the chance to be proud of me. All of this goes so far beyond me! It's not that I don't want to leave! I can't!"
Luca didn't reply.
"I... I look at my parents and all I can think of is how disappointed they'd be if I didn't keep going, keep pushing myself."
"I'm... I'm sorry."
I looked away before stubbornly wiping away any tears that found their way to my eyes. "I'll... I'll leave it all one day. I'll leave all of it behind and find something that doesn't terrify me as much, but I just... I can't yet. I can't."
"I shouldn't have pushed so hard," he replied. "I... I'm so sorry."
"It's okay," I mumbled, running my hands over my face. "Can we just... Can we focus on literally anything else?"
He nodded, going to step around the counter again. "I've thought about you a lot over the last few years."
"Really," I asked.
"Yeah. I... I always felt... wrong for leaving the way that I did. I felt like I had abandoned you."
"If it helps, I never thought that. I just hoped that you were happy."
He offered a grin in response.
He started working again.
As silence surrounded us, the air seemed to shift. The weight wasn't gone. I don't think it ever would be. But it was lighter. As if I wasn't holding it on my own anymore.
And maybe that extra pair of hands was all I needed for now.

the heart that matches mine
Wednesday Addams x Reader
Summary: You and Wednesday attend Nevermore's Christmas Eve party; with matching sweaters.
Requested by @dingus85
A/N: This story is part of my Christmas Special event. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas. <3

"Pretty please?"
You begged, holding both matching Christmas sweaters in your arms, the soft fabric molding between your fingers as you looked at Wednesday with your best puppy eyes.
Wednesday huffed, she regarded you with a serious look before snatching one of the sweaters from your hands without a word, making you squeal in happiness.
It was a sight to behold; Wednesday Addams walking down the stairs with a white and red sweater filled with reindeer and Christmas trees, holding onto your hand — who also wore a sweater, exactly like hers.
Given that there was practically a blizzard roaring outside, the students were gathering at the school's venue for a fun night on Christmas eve; Principal Weems had ordered a few snacks, there was music playing and the place was warmly decorated with orange blinking lights and a large Christmas tree in the middle of the room.
As soon as you both entered, Enid was making a beeline to you; "OMG, you two look adorable," she exclaimed, the little Christmas hat she wore bouncing with her excitement.
You could see she contained herself from pulling you and Wednesday into a hug, making you chuckle; "thank you, Enid."
"How do you always manage-"
"Don't ask." Wednesday cut off Enid's question to you before she could finish, making the werewolf grin.
"Your soft spot is showing, Wednesday," Enid winked, "anyways you guys gotta try the gingerbread, it's to die for!" And with that, she was running off to Ajax's side again.
You squeezed Wednesday's hand once it was just you two, her sweater was a little too big on her, the soft fabric getting between both your palms as you pulled her along.
Most students were dressed the part, even Weems had a red dress and white shoes that fitted her to perfection. The tables had Christmas-themed towels over them, each one with an ornament on top; the song playing was one you didn't know but the melody was a soft, pleasant one; and the array of golden lights attached to the walls and ceiling got the room all warm and magical.
"You have to admit it's a nice holiday," you said, walking around the Christmas tree and to the table filled with snacks.
"There's a disgusting amount of colors for such a small room," Wednesday grumbled, taking a tiny bite of the gingerbread and furrowing her brows when she realized it really was good, "we could be celebrating in infinitely better ways." Her eyes were set on you as she finished, on the glow that the many lights cast over your skin.
"You know what my favorite part is?" You asked with a grin, sneaking an arm around Wednesday's waist and pulling her body closer to yours. There was something about seeing her with a fluffy sweater that got you wanting to squish her to you and not let go.
Naturally, her hands came to rest on your shoulders as an adorable tilt came to her brows, trying to solve your riddle.
You twirled her around until you stood under a little mistletoe trinket, the smile ever present on your lips, "extra excuses for me to kiss you."
Wednesday's lips quirked up in a small, mischievous manner. Her hands closed around the collar of your sweater and she pulled you toward her with intent.
It was the most you'd ever get from her in the middle of so many people; Wednesday wasn't the most affectionate, but she was intense in her own way; with how she hardly ever lets go of your hand or how she kisses you quickly yet passionately enough to get your knees weak.
She pulled away only enough to brush your noses together; "to this, I could get used to."
Your nose scrunched with giddiness, you pushed strands of hair behind Wednesday's ear, your fingertips grazing the soft skin of her cheek; "merry Christmas my little raven."

In my opinion, the reason the reunion scene was skipped was because the author couldn’t figure out a way to write it non-romantically and gave up after a while
honestly. i kinda agree with you nonnie.
it just. the set up to the scene is sooooo romantic. you have lloyd being absolutely devastated at the thought he's not going to see any of his loved ones ever again and that he's been dropped back into his terrible life, to the place he admitted he'd rather die than go back to,,, and then someone knocks at the door and when he opens it this is the sight that greets him:
Tumblr media
his best friend, the person he's closest to, the one he's spent years with, the one he promised a peaceful life at his side, the one he wanted to grow old with, the one he sacrificed everything for, the one he effectively gave his life to save, the one he thought he'd never see again, standing at his door, having crossed literal dimensional barriers to get to him, a soft and teary smile on his face as he tells him "i missed you"
like. c'mon.
i'm all for platonic interpretations, i'm aroace, i love me a good best friendship as much as the next guy, but,,,, isn't this,,, like,,, really fucking romantic??? extremely so??? am i??? reading too much into it?? because it feels really, really romantic to me.
and like you say. where do you go from there. what response could lloyd give that doesn't involve throwing himself at javier and clinging to him with all of his strength. what conversation could these two have that doesn't involve them seeing how truly devoted they are to each other. what resolution does their arc together have that isn't them spending the rest of their lives together, at each other's side, like they so dearly wanted to.
but. alas. that wasn't the story bk moon wanted to tell. and that's very much his right. i just think that if he didn't want me to assume there's no in-character and narratively satisfying version of that conversation that doesn't end with them kissing he should've at least tried to give us something. and not completely skipped it lol
but that's just my opinion too :]
#hey i got an ask#Anonymous#tged#the greatest estate developer#tged spoilers#lloyd frontera#javier asrahan#llojavi#ch 401#and like. god. this really was his favorite scene to write uh.#i just. i don't get it. what was going through his head. what was he thinking. what was the point of all of This.#i just need ten minutes locked in a room with him. preferably with a translator but i am willing to compromise. just gimme ten minutes.#i can make him spill the soup i know this#fuck if i think too long about how this is the. second last chapter we get. before we officially end the novel with the two of them sharing#a relieved smile at the fact they can finally live their lives together without worries. i do go a little crazy.#this would probably be a hot take if there were enough opinions about tged for it to be considered spicy in the first place. but. i don't#love the extra chapters. the one with javier making a wish to a shooting star is acceptable tho it does create more questions than answers.#but the others are. meh. i would've much preferred if tged had ended in ch 401 with an open ending. maybe ch 402 if only because i did want#to see lloyd interact with arcos and marbella as suho. but there would be no last minute shoehorned wedding in my ideal ending.#i just!! i don't like forced romance!!!! i don't like compulsory amato/heteronormativity!!!!!!#i want my fictional relationships to have proper build up and chemistry and to be narratively satisfying!!!!!!! fuck!!!!!!!#i'm good. i'm okay. this is fine. we're all fine.#anyway. yeah

It's not often that Price asks Ghost about his personal life.
While he hadn't any explicit details, the Captain had been more than aware of his lieutenant's upbringing, alongside his work involving Roba. Had Ghost been a little older, Price was sure the lieutenant would have already matched him in grit and trauma. After all, life never was kind to men like them.
Because of that, Price had respected the man's privacy; it wasn't like he needed a full life story to see Ghost as both a respectable and reliable force of nature. In the Task Force, it's not your past which makes you who you are, it's what you do from here on out.
Actions speak louder than words.
So it's hard not to make comments and have a few questions, after Price has spent the last few hours watching his soldiers eyefuck each other all day. As they have been doing for nearly a month now.
"You and Spice..." The Captain cuts right to the chase, looking up at Ghost from his desk, his expression a cross between being concerned and curious. "Is there something up I should know about?"
Ghost groaned to himself, remaining still in front of Price. No doubt, he knew where this conversation was already going, even as he dreaded it in its entirety.
"...Wha's this about, Captain?"
Price chuckles, having found the answer he was looking for in that response right there. The Captain knows his men and he knows them well, even though Ghost might try and act like it's not true; the lieutenant had been no exception.
And if the Captain's own cunning hadn't been enough to tip him off already, then better yet, he now uses his head to gesture, "Your collar, Simon."
Ghost can't see it yet -- he's kicking himself in the ass mentality as the realization dawns on him -- but some of your lipstick (though barely in Regs on you) had smeared on the corner of his mask, leaving faint marks of the past lust-filled encounter he'd just had with you earlier this day. Left there and forgotten for the perusal of all his colleagues.
Who's to say how long that's been visible there. That would only explain the odd faces Soap and Gaz kept making toward him since returning from lunch. Ghost had merely thought the behaviors had just been the Sergeants' usual ogling natures. Clearly, he'd been mistaken.
The man can't bring himself to do anything other than straighten up and listen, now looking as defeated as he looked irritated. There'd be no lying his way out of this one.
"I'm talking to you about it because I know you'll give me a straight answer," Price admits, placing his pen down now and putting an end to his paperwork, so that he could fully face his subordinate.
No doubt, Price knew if he asked you about it, he'd only receive lies and half-truths. Ghost could be just as dishonest, though the Captain has found his shortness much more digestible. "If you two have something-"
"We don't."
Price can't help but let out a small chuckle at Ghost's quickness to deny that fact. "Right," he says. "Look, Simon, you're both adults. What you two choose to do outside of work is no one's business but your own..."
Ghost tries desperately not to tune Price's words out, however good-intended they were. This had all merely been obvious advice to him, and completely wasted at that, because nothing else was going on. Nothing at all.
Ghost had just been a pit stop on the road for you, and you had just been a minor distraction throughout the day that he ought to forget about already. That's how it looks. That's how it's been.
It didn't make the man's stomach turn any less rationalizing it that way.
At some point or another, Price had come to his conclusion, deep within the unprompted lecture.
"...I just need to know you can keep whatever's goin' on... discreet, yeah? Behind closed doors."
"It won't happen again," Ghost bluntly states.
"Ah," Price shrugs. "That's not-"
Price stops himself when he sees that the lieutenant won't budge. He hadn't been judging by any means. Believe it or not, the Captain had been the first one to come around to you before everyone else.
He always saw you as a troubled soul just needing some focus. And you make mistakes, ones you acknowledge, which the Captain has been more understanding about than you felt you deserved. He wouldn't judge the lieutenant's interest in you.
However, Ghost had already come to a conclusion even before stepping foot into this office; the thought of you and that other man had yet to leave the lieutenant's mind, even hours later.
Images of you kissing that strange man, that man that was not him, it hit him like hot flashes throughout the day, burning in him slowly every time he had to see you again. Between that and this, Ghost figured it'd be best for you both to quit now while you're ahead.
If the jig was up then let it be up for good, Ghost thought. He didn't need the complications anymore.
"Had that been all then, sir?" Ghost asks.
Price sighs, sinking back in his seat in casual defeat.
Alas, there had been another reason Price had been interested in prying into Simon's private life. So the Captain switches things back to an environment both men are comfortable in. Work.
"No," Price says. "There had been something else for you. An assignment."
"What's the mission?"

The sun sets over the base.
A tangerine sky sits above with a peach-colored sun, and the summer air warming the evening. The day was coming to an end now, everyone clocking off so they could do it all over again tomorrow. You were standing in the parking lot with Gaz when Ghost finally found you.
You stood off by your car, a cigarette half gone through, perched between your two fingers, stained by your lipstick. Meanwhile, the Sergeant stood beside you, gabbing on about God knows what that had you laughing yourself to tears.
It doesn't take you long to notice the lieutenant approaching, and for those laughs to all but whittle away. You start to sniff the air, your nose scrunching as you groan unpleasurably. You turn to Gaz. "What's that smell?"
Your eyebrows furrow with disgust, nostrils continuing to smell the air around you, until your eyes have comically fallen onto Ghost's, who stands with mild bemusement a few feet away from you.
"Oh," you say. "It's just Manchester."
Oh ha ha, Ghost had thought. He'd have to remember to laugh in the future.
"Ouch," Gaz laughs himself now.
You turn your back to Ghost once you see he won't indulge you with a reaction, bringing your attention back to Gaz. Those you more or less used him as something to look at as you waited to hear what the lieutenant wanted.
"A word," Ghost says.
You chuckle like you didn't think he was serious. However, seeing as he hadn't budged, you groan, flicking your cigarette away and looking back over at Gaz.
And then, you rest your hand on the Sergeant's shoulder, letting your fingers graze him soothingly as you make your way over to follow the lieutenant. "Tell me more about it later," you purr.
Ghost didn't even want to ask.
Tumblr media
You admit, when Ghost pulled you into an empty room you thought you two were going for round two. While you hadn't been planning on it -- your crotch definitely still throbbing from your last interaction -- you had been more than down for another go at him.
However, fucking you had been the last thing on Ghost's mind. Well, not the last, but it wasn't the first.
He makes sure the door's shut behind him before turning his full attention to you. "You're getting sloppy," he points to the lipstick smear.
You giggle, bringing your hand to your mouth rather mockingly. You hadn't actually noticed that you left that there, though you wish you had. It was perfect. "Who saw?"
"Price," Ghost sighs. "Though I'm sure the entire team knows by now."
Now you've started laughing, which only seemed to further irritate the man, feeding more to your sick humor. It's no secret you like to sleep around, so it made no difference to you if people knew or not.
However, it had been a first on the team.
"Hey," you start to tease. "You should be proud. You bagged a baddie. That's worth some boasting, yeah?"
"Stop it," Ghost no longer felt interested in trading banter with you anymore, wanting you to hear him when he says, "Look, I'm putting an end to this, Spice."
You scoff now, mockingly. "Don't tell me you're embarrassed now-"
"No," he stops you right there. "Of course not."
It takes a moment for his words to take meaning to you, but once they have, your whole demeanor changes. Gears shifting. For a moment, Ghost could have sworn you looked upset.
"Why?" You ask.
Why? Because now it's become a disruption. A hiccup at work. "This has gone on long enough," he answers. "Let's not pretend this was going to be a long term thing here."
"I wasn't."
That makes Ghost pause for a second, though he hadn't been sure why. It had just been the way you'd said it -- like that hadn't even been a thought to you, this small thing being something more.
"We're on the same page then," he says plainly. "It's done."
Only that answer did little to satisfy you. In fact, it did the opposite. Frankly, you had no intention of ending things; not without it being on your own terms that is.
And you had a funny feeling the lieutenant wasn't ready to end things either. He has plenty of buttons to push for you to find out.
"Did a little bit of lipstick spook you, Manchester? Or was it the whole jealousy thing-"
"Enough," Ghost intersects. He knows if he doesn't put his foot down at some point, he couldn't rely on you to leave this. Not without making it messy, which had not been something he signed up for. Then again, he knew he'd been playing with fire when he decided to involve himself with you. It's that which got you both here in the first place, and he'd be a liar to say it hadn't kept him warm all this time.
You cross your arms like a pouty little princess, going as far as to look grumpy while doing it too. Of course, you were being more dramatic than you actually felt about the matter, it wasn't like you couldn't find someone else to sleep with. Though, there hadn't been anyone quite like Simon...
"You know, this wouldn't be an issue if you'd just take off that stupid thing-"
"That's not happening."
"Why?" You start making jabs at him now. "Scared you might like having it gone-"
Ghost takes an intimidating step forward, no longer wanting to use words to silence you. Not when his presence could do the trick. He glares at you, demanding your silence.
Silence you would not give him.
Any time the lieutenant felt the need to step up to you, it only triggered your fight-or-flight senses to do the same. So you step forward yourself, keeping your arms crossed and a smile on your face, as you glare back at Ghost, reading everything he had to say in his gaze.
You look him up and down, letting your eyes grow half-lidded and sultry. "You know," you coo. "I think you might like a little kiss on the lips. It might make you act like less of an asshole."
You approach him, until your toes are a small tap away, his body-heat resonating through his uniform to you. The sound of his breath making a low, irritable huff as he exhaled made the hairs on the back of your neck stand, as you kept your eyes locked on his.
Ghost doesn't budge, not wanting to further humor whatever it was you were trying to do. Not that you made it easy. Any time you came close like this, your perfume blanketed him like a warm welcome, your eyes inviting him in. And you knew what you were doing too.
"Don't tell me you never thought about it," you purr, bringing your hand down to his. "I have."
Oh, Ghost has thought about it, from time to time. Mostly when you were alone together and he had you close to him. They were often mere seconds. Urges that pass where he's watched your lips, seeing how full and lush they were, just begging for his mouth to take them in with his.
You continue to let your words try and coax him into action, letting your fingers run delicately up his arm, slowly as you spoke.
"And I'm not talking about those short little pecks we give each other when we fuck," you tell him. "I mean something real. Something deep. A kiss."
You've seen Ghost's eyes drop to your lips now, lingering, taking in every detail. Battling with his own self control. And yet, he remains still, refusing to budge.
So you push even further.
You let your hands slide up slowly, making sure that he's felt every small essence of you which grazed him, until you've let your fingers fall short of his collarbone, where the edge of his mask lie.
"Come on, Manchester," you step on your tippy toes now, mocking his accent as you speak. "Give us a kiss."
Even now, there was just something about the way the air felt between you two this close. As though the air around you had become a bubble, zapping the oxygen out, and slowly drawing you near each other for another breath of fresh air.
Ghost would sooner suffocate if it meant he didn't have to long for another scarce breath of you that wouldn't last long enough to really ever fill him. You would sooner let the flame burn the oxygen away, until its suffocated you both in its ash and soot, if only it meant the fires which burned you would be hot.
And boy did you make those flames look inviting to burn in.
Ghost stops your hand just short of reaching his mask, his touch both tentative and yet so sure of itself all at once. Though his gaze softens, his tone does not.
"No more."
You pull your hand from his and step away, giving him the distance he's so asked for. "Fine."
Somehow, Ghost had doubted everything had been fine. But time had not been on his side for him to see.
"I'd tell you not to be a brat about it," Ghost starts to quip. "But I know that'd be asking for too much."
You cross your arms and smirk. "Glad you know me so well, Manchester," you say. "Now, was that it then, sir?"
"We've got new orders."
You pause, straightening up some.
"We do?"

Part Five Here!
You know what, how about I put some plot in your porn now. I wanted to have fun typing this, so I'm not trying to spend too much time dreary on about mission details and whatnot (since this is fake and my "military" knowledge extends to Google, my ex-husband and my time in ROTC, so in other words, inaccurate), so I hope this reads snappy and kinda flowy.
At the end of the day, you already know where I'm trying to go with this. An easy breezy read. Some chapters might be short, some might be long, it'll be whatever feels right. However, I'm finishing up the outline to this, that way it's not just a meaningless read. And, I'm still working on my other WIPs, I promise!

I wanted to ask, in the kids turned sparkling au, Starscream was teaching Miko how to be the next winglord. Assuming he lived after Predacons Rising, or died and came back like Optimus, would she still treat him like a secondary parent, and eventually become winglord?
Ah yes Starscream.
Previous part here.
━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙ ━━━━━━━━━━━━
The matter of Starscream was one Tari did not like to consider. She had memories of Starscream trying to kill her when she was still Miko, but she also had recollections of a time when things were better. She remembered Starscream carrying her through the skies, letting her small wings flutter with the currents before she had learned to fly. She could still recall when he'd held her in his arms, telling her tales of Vos and the glory of the city he proclaimed would one day be hers. She had listened with such intent that even as a fully framed adult, she couldn't help but sometimes wonder if he was still out there, and if he still cared.
She was happy being a Wrecker, and she was happy being away from her family, even if she missed them at times. But as she aged, she felt a void within her, one that was for once, not caused by the loss of her Sire. She remembered stories of the great city that even after Cybertron's restoration, was not again floating in the sky. Starscream had always said that it was the duty of all fliers to watch over their city, to protect it, and to ensure that all who followed after them would have a place to call home.
Tari remembered, and so she decided to act.
Before Optimus's return, she set out on a journey across the stars. Her goal was simple: Find Starscream and get him to help her restore Vos. Sure, he might have been a Decepticon, but her memory painted him as a far more reasonable mech than some of the Autobots she dealt with on a regular basis. And without her Sire? Well... maybe digging up a few old memories would do something good for her aching spark.
It was far easier than she expected to find Starscream, although it hurt to track him down. He was hidden on Earth, her world of origin (a fact she will only begrudgingly admit). When she found him, he was wrapped up in his plans to get back at everyone and everything. She took him by total surprise, and their first meeting was by no means the one she had been hoping for. Starscream didn't recognize her, all he saw was her Wrecker badge.
Tari: Starscream! Hold your fire! I come in peace!
Starscream: An Autobot comes in peace? HA! As if I would believe that!
Tari: My designation is Sagittarius, Tari for short. Don't you remember me?
Starscream: A flier named after this mudball's constellations? How the mighty have fallen.
Tari and Starscream shot at each other for a while, and in the end, Tari had to hunt him down several times over the course of a few months. It was due to this hunt that she ended up with Bumblebee and his team on Earth for a time. She needed the extra guns to get into the Decepticon base on Earth where Starscream was supposedly hiding out. Her adventures with Bumblebee and his team were a whole other series of shenanigans. But in the end, she got her prize.
"Well Autobot? You've caught me. Are you going to kill me now?"
"No, I want you to talk to me. Please, just take a moment and remember me Starscream. I've already lost Optimus, I don't want to lose the only other bot that came even close to being my Sire."
"..."
"..."
"Mistress of the Terran skies. That was your full designation... wasn't it?"
Silence reigned over the duo for a time as Tari led Starscream out in cuffs. He would still need to answer for his crimes... but she would do all she could to lessen the sentence. For once, he went along without argument and allowed Tari to take him back to Cybertron to face justice. Seeing her reminded him of what he had been hoping for all those years ago when the war still raged. He had all but forgotten the precious sparkling he'd been so keen to raise once Megatron died. Predacons, Vehions, Terrorcons... it had all kept him distracted, especially as he sought out his old frame once more.
He would need to make things better.
Tari returned him to Cybertron and worked with anyone willing to side with Starscream during his court case. With a lot of effort, she was able to convince the Council that keeping Starscream alive was not only beneficial, but in the best interest of all of Cybertron. How did she do this? Why, she simply made it clear that Starscream had named her the heir of Vos... on live television. What was the Council to do? If they claimed Tari was lying, they would be disregarding the words of the Prime's sparkling. If they claimed her station was irrelevant, then they would earn the collective ire of every flier on Cybertron. There was almost no choice but to let Starscream out on parole and give Tari the funds needed to begin preparing to rebuild Vos.
Tari and Starscream were still rather tense, but working together on a common goal eased a lot of the pain that had developed over the years. Starscream guided Tari in her efforts and covered for her when she returned to the Wreckers. He laid low when she wasn't around and taught her as much of the old culture of fliers as possible. Over time, the wounds healed, and Starscream was able to proudly call himself Tari's mentor. Optimus was not made aware of Starscream's station in Tari's life until Vos rose into the skies once more and Starscream was there to announce Tari is official heir. It was a shock to say the least, but Tari relished in the companionship of her old secondary caretaker.
"Thank you for coming back with me."
"Thank you for giving me a second chance. To see Vos rise once more is a far greater accomplishment than anything I ever did during the war."
"You aren't so bad Starscream."
"HA! Lord Megatron would have a thing or two to say about that!"
