THE WAY IN WHICH I FUCKING GIGGLED IS INHUMANE THIS SHITS SO SOFT DUDES (AND SO FUCKING LONG I ACTUALLY HAD TO INCLUDE A KEEP READING BREAK).

STEVEN - steven's kisses are soft. gentle, and oh-so-smooth, yet extremely public. when you first started dating (when steven's nerves were at their very highest and you were just starting to get to know each other), the most steven would do in public is lay a quick peck to your cheek. I think during the beginning of relationships, steven would absolutely give it his all in private, but would be extremely nervous about pda. think…the kind of shyness where people would still know you were dating, yet would never see him actually kiss you. steven likes having a piece of his life just to himself, and that includes you. but as you fall in love, as he begins to realize (with a little nudging from marc), that you actually want to be kissed in public—that that is your love language—the boy makes it his new mission to make it up to you. and that starts with him getting off of work one day, and instead of kissing you on the cheek and accepting the tea you brought him like usual, his hands come to the sides of your face as he pushes his mouth to yours. it’s the softest, yet most fervent kiss you’ve ever shared. and so, it becomes your lil’ habit: kissing in the foyer of the museum as the rest of the world watches.

MARC - soo….I firmly believe marc spector is an ah-mazing fucking kisser. now, I don’t think that this is necessarily a controversial opinion, but I think that even with his lack of meaningful relationships, he gives it his all when he kisses people. like his kisses are the kind that always steal your breath and make you feel like you’re floating. like imagine a kiss that makes you swoon?? that’s his default, m’kay? BUT. when marc is in love—head over heels typa beat, his kisses are a lot more subtle. marc has no problem kissing your mouth, in fact it’s one of his favourite things to do. but sometimes he doesn’t have the time, or, something comes up when the two of you are in public and he needs to leave quickly. so, when that boy is in love and he doesn’t have the time to tell you, he kisses your knuckles. he’ll be in the car, admiring how fucking beautiful you are, and as you turn the corner he’ll pick up your hand and kiss your knuckles. or if you’re in the middle of sex, and you’re just on the verge of coming for the first time, he’ll kiss your knuckles before pinning them above your head. sometimes you miss it. sometimes, especially at the most random times, you don’t really register that he’s doing it. but when you do catch him in the act, you just smile and kiss his knuckles back…an unspoken acknowledgment.

JAKE - NOW JAKE?? OH MY GOD, JAKE… so we all know jake lockley isn’t the biggest talker (I mean he literally stayed fucking silent for ever as marc and steven fought over the body, so his self control and ability to not ever fucking say a word is pretty high). he’s just quiet. a smooth-talker when he does choose to open his mouth, but for the most part, quiet. even around you (not that he wants to be). part of jake’s main insecurity is that he isn’t as vocal of the feelings he has for you as the other guys, and he isn’t as vocal as you. you always unapologetically tell your boys you love them. except when you say ‘I love you’ to steven and marc, they say it back. jake, not so much. again, it’s not that he doesn’t feel that way. he does. that boy’s so in love with you it physically hurts him. it’s just he can’t, he’s not good with words. but he is good with his actions. so whenever he feels like telling you how much he loves you; when the words won’t come out no matter how hard he tried, he kisses you on your forehead. wherever he is, whatever he’s doing, when he wants to say it, he’ll just walk up to you, cradle your head and press his mouth right into your hairline. it’s so much more different than his other kisses—a lot more gentler and full of emotion—that even without him having to explain it, you know what it means. forehead kisses are reserved for your love, and your love only.

headcanon request: dancing with the moon knight boys?

🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

you ask, and you shall receive.

JAKE - Jake fucking loves to dance. Like yes, he might be this big, bad, murderous man, but he will not hesitate to take every opportunity to dance with you. (His favourite place being the kitchen.) He likes to do the salsa, or at least some variation of it, because let’s be honest, y’all get way too distracted. Especially when you’re trying to keep an eye on the frying vegetables all while dealing with his wandering hands. Anything that’s high energy and allows him to be pressed up against you as much as possible, he will try at least once. He would also definitely take you to impromptu dancing classes, and of course everyone swoons over him—tries to not-so-subtlety dance with him in the process. But he never lets go of you once, refusing to be partnered up with anyone else.

STEVEN - now, shockingly, once you and Steven get more familiar with each other, he is incredibly coordinated. I mean spinning you around, pulling your body back into his and dipping you type a shit. Similar to Jake, he’s very good with fast-paced routines, but Steven definitely prefers intimate slow-dancing. He’s a soft romantic, after all. So really, there’s nothing better than having his head on your shoulder, swaying you back and forth with your hand in his. When he dances with you, he always puts on his records—purposefully picks the cheesiest, most romantic ones in his collection (though sometimes, if you convince him enough, he’ll let you use your phone). His go-to’s are always Edith Piaf, Frank Sinatra or Etta James. Simply because they just set the right mood, and Steven is all about setting the tone.

MARC - at first, marc was the least likely to initiate dancing. It’s not that he doesn’t want to, because he really does, more than anything. It’s just that he’s never actually tried. Being that his home wasn’t nourishing; wasn’t loving nor supportive, that kind of easy-going feeling associated with dancing wasn’t really in the cards. He simply never had the time for it. But everything changes one night, when he’s watching you and Steven laughing and dancing in the reflection of a nearby mirror. And it’s from that point, when he realizes how much you love it, that he starts to teach himself. He does it at first whenever you’re at work, watching basic tutorials on YouTube (in his mind, if he taught himself to cook, he can teach himself to dance). Except, for once, he’s not a natural at it. He’s completely uncoordinated, which aggravates him because of course this stubborn ass man wants to be perfect for you—wants to surprise you with these brand new acquired skills. And then you’re coming home early one day, and you catch him stumbling over his feet, cursing at himself at he tries to get his footing. He nearly gives up, until you wordlessly take his hands into yours and begin to move in circles. He steps on your toes a couple of times; bumps into you over and over again. But eventually, as he follows your footwork, he gets the hang of it, because Marc is a fast-learner.

Soon, it becomes routine that no matter where you are, no matter what the situation is, your boys love to dance with you. And you wouldn’t have it any other way.

MARC - so I feel like it’s the presumption that Marc has insomnia, or at least has an incredibly difficult time falling asleep. and it’s not like Steven, where he wants to be awake. Marc desperately wants to get some fucking rest, it’s just his body betrays him. yet somehow, some way, that’s never the case when you’re with him. like if lavender and other sleepy scents were a person; it’d be you. he could be hyped up on caffeine and sugar, and would still effortlessly fall asleep beside/on you. it starts with you in bed first, and then some time around 1 in the morning (cause he still likes to stay up and watch tv or some shit), Marc finally joins you. you’re asleep by the time he settles behind you, though he considers you have a sixth sense, because you’re always waking up just a little to roll over to face him. the two of you cuddle like that: limbs intertwined with your faces nearly pressed together. BONUS: Marc always places his hand overtop your heart to assure himself that you’re still alive and there with him.

STEVEN - now Steven is actually incredibly similar to marc in the sense that he needs to be wrapped up in you; it’s just his execution is a lil’ different. regardless that Steven has come to terms with Marc and is no longer afraid of staying up, he still slips back into those old habits. he tries to stay awake as much as possible, though his efforts prove to be worthless because he’s the type of person that can fall asleep anywhere and everywhere. on your shoulder on the trolley? happened more times than he can count. curled up in his chair at his desk? absolutely. standing up in the kitchen as he’s burning your eggs? all. the. time. though his favourite way to fall asleep is with you on the couch: underneath him with his head stuffed in the crook of your neck, and your arms around his back. Steven Grant is the big spoon that wants nothing more than to be engulfed by you, and you have no problem with that.

JAKE - so contrary to popular belief, I like to think that Jake is incredibly affection, and actually loves being romantic (with the right person, of course). Just like—besides him straight up having no threshold of “oh no, murders wrong”—he’s actually quite put together. He’s far more responsible than both Marc and Steven combined; very much aware of routines, what’s needed and what’s missing (especially when Steven forgets to buy milk for the third day in a row). So I like to think that when he’s not out working for Khonshu, he actually has a decent sleep schedule. He goes to bed roughly the same time every night, and wakes up no later than 8:30 every morning. But, his main rule is he will not go to sleep without you, and he will not leave the bed in the morning until you’re both awake. He’s extremely protective in the sense that he needs to know exactly where you are when he goes to sleep and when he wakes up. especially since he knows anything can happen when he’s unconscious. which is why he needs to be touching you, similar to Marc. either he’s holding you from behind: your frame tucked into his, or when your on your stomach, his arm will be under your pillow, with your leg draped over his. he just needs you to be as close as possible.

steven grant would stand up for you if someone was being rude to you and he may be a little awkward in the way he goes about it but, god he just tries to make you feel safe and valued and he knows how it feels when people are rude all the damn time so he won’t tolerate it when you’re around.

YES OKAY LISTEN—

He might be a little bit of a pushover when it comes to people being rude to him (and when I say that I mean he kinda tolerates it. Like, he’ll respond, but it takes him a lot to reach his breaking point, ya know), BUT THE SECOND SOMEONE IS RUDE TO YOU?? THAT BOY WILL NOT HESITATE.

Except you don’t realize this until one specific incident. To set the scene, you’re in the museum, waiting for Steven to get off work, with two fresh coffees in your hand. And then as you’re walking around, this guy comes around the corner, bumps into you and spills your coffee all on his suit.

And even though, it’s technically that motherfuckers fault, and you are apologizing profusely, this bitch starts to yell at you.

So obviously I think the one thing the moon boys cannot tolerate is anyone being rude to you. They’re pretty good at deescalating a situation with just their words (Jake, not so much but that’s a topic for another day), but if someone is full on screaming at you, that’s where the fucking line is drawn.

So the second Steven sees said pissed off man, and then you, who’s nearly on the verge of tears (cause you’re an angry crier), he’s moving faster than he ever thought possible.

Then somewhere along the line of calling him a ‘fucking knob’ and trying to tell him in the most intimidating way to ‘learn some bloody manners’, the guy gets dragged out by security. And once he clocks out, after you give him his still full cup of coffee (as yours was the one that got demolished), he’ll press kiss after kiss into the side of your face, handing you back the coffee, mumbling “I’d rather you have it, love.”

Girl- imagine Marc, Jake, and Steven move in with you right? Everything's great, except Jake and your large orange cat (named Cheese) hate each other- for example, any time things are getting ✨steamy✨ Cheese walks in and tries to get in between you two. And even if you kick him out he just sits at the door and meows until you let him back in. And it's just with Jake, he's fine with Marc and Steven for some reason. One day when you came home from work, you could see Jake sprawled out asleep on the couch, right? But Cheese is sitting on his chest, pawing at his fake mustache- and you catch the exact moment when Cheese rips the mustache off and Jake sits up and yelps, holding his upper lip. And Cheese just runs over and proudly places the patch of hair at your feet, rubbing his face against your calf while you're trying to breathe because you're laughing so hard- 💀💀

one minute dustin was screaming for him, crawling up to the gate with your hand intertwined in his, and the next, you’re both tumbling through—a harsh sound of snapping bones as you meet the ground: dustin with a sprained leg and you with a broken wrist.

except, with the shock of it all; caring for dustin as he mourns the death of a friend all while trying to keep him alive, you don’t notice until steve does.

and when steve finds out??

homeboy is terrified

AND I MEAN FUCKING TERRIFIED

because when he tries pulling you up through the gate, and you wince as he grabs your hand, the world tunnels.

steve cares deeply for people. but when it comes to you?? an injured you????

all hell breaks loose.

sure the worlds pretty much ending and people just died horrifically, but you’re hurt.

you’re hurt, and truly, that’s all that matters to him.

he gets the team to help you up, always one hand on your shoulders and the other around your waist.

times running out and the gates are opening dangerously, so by the time you all haul ass and get to the hospital to visit max, he’s getting you immediate help.

and he stays with you the entire time.

not once does he leave your side. even when the doctors have cleared you, and the nurses discharge you from your room, steve insists on staying in the hospital.

“what if your stitches come loose, sweetheart?”

“Steve…steve, honey, I don’t have stitches.”

he manages to keep you in the waiting area—tempts you with m&m’s and shitty coffee from the cafeteria.

he’s very attentive.

I mean, steve harrington is quite possibly one of the most attentive people ever.

but he becomes even more so.

every time you shift to get comfy, every time you wince as you try to steady your shaking limbs…

he’s there with tender touches and soft kisses into your hairline as he mumbles different things like:

“you should let me do it, baby.”

“no, —, honey, just…just sleep for now, okay?”

“just…here have your m&m’s. let me hold your coffee.”

he takes off his jacket and folds it on his shoulder so that way you can sleep there, all while cradling your hand in his lap.

every once in a while (more like every thirty minutes), when you’re fast asleep, he gets a nurse to check out your hand.

at first the nurses are a lil’ annoyed.

this is the third time this random guy has asked them to look at your wrist, and every time they’ve told him you’re fine. you can go home.

but when they see him look down at you, all soft smiles and relief, they decide to humour him without any prompting.

because people who suffered from the “earthquake” are filtering in, coming and going…

yet steve stays with you.

it’s only until the next morning, when you’re dragging his tired ass home that he actually realizes you’re okay.

You both are more than okay, and you have no problem showing each other just how happy you are to be alive.

Since they woke up to see you not next to them but smelling something good from the kitchen and decided to check it out to find you their adorable girlfriend cooking for them.Making a sneak attack seeing you be busy with the fruit part of the breakfast they wrap their arms around your waist surprising you letting out a gasp.As telling them that this was supposed to be a surprise for their hard work.

What kind of music do you think the Moonboys listen to? 🤔

This is a really good question!!

I feel like I kinda already touch on that with the playlists I’ve made for both Marc and Steven (I haven’t made one for Jake yet). But, those playlists are also a mix of songs that I personally associate with them and not necessarily what I think they’d listen to.

So to be specific…

STEVEN - Other than ABBA (Chiquitita, One of Us and Slipping Through My Fingers are his favourite, you can’t convince me otherwise), I think Steven listens to softer-ish music?? Like he DEFINITELY cries to Mitski when he’s just super fucking overwhelmed (especially First Love/Late Spring, and I Bet on Losing Dogs). But he also listens to old French music when he’s content. Though he only listens to them on records. As a record collector myself, I like to think I can pick people out who vibe with a record player, and he’s one of them.

MARC - NOW. Marc is a lil’ different. I definitely think Marc is the type of person to like a little bit of everything?? Like he has, at least, one favourite song from each genre. Which makes him super fun to listen to car radio’s with, because he won’t be opposed to any station you put on. BUT, he definitely has his preferences. And one of his guilty pleasures is Nirvana. Music is incredibly powerful, and so I feel that after the abuse from his mom started, he would’ve turned to an outlet (other than Steven). So of course pre-teen/teenager Marc is going to turn to the most angsty shit there is. Thus…Nirvana. At the time, he would say Smells Like Teen Spirit is his favourite (because what person doesn’t say that at some point in their lives). But now, he would say that he always loved Heart-Shaped Box. (He also definitely would’ve gone to a friends house to watch Unplugged in New York, because his mom probably would never let him have the tv. I take no criticism.)

JAKE - so Jake is a little trickier, just because we saw so little of him. (I wanna say he would like any sort of Spanish music, but I think that’s kinda typical??) Strangely though, I think he’d honestly be into Lionel Richie (All Night Long and Endless Love, to be exact), and possibly even 70s disco? Idk I could just be projecting entirely, but I feel like he secretly listens to Donna Summer in the safety of his limo. And if that’s the case, Last Dance is one thousand percent his favourite. Now, I also believe that Jake is the type to make a playlist specifically for sexy time. Both of you have given your own input, songs that each of you like that help get ya in the mood. The things like nearly 10 hours long, and a lot of it is just The Weeknd, Doja Cat, etc. (you put Let’s Get it On in there as a joke, but Jake’s adopted it as “the warmup song”). THOUGH I WILL SAY, CLOSER BY NINE INCH NAILS IS ON THAT FUCKING PLAYLIST TOO AND ITS BOTH OF YOUR GUYS’ FAVOURITE FOR OBVIOUS REASONS.

ive seen some fics about teaching marc how to cook/bake, but I feel like marc can already cook??? like he clearly had to be independent from a young age and that probably included having to make his won meals since his mum clearly wasn't going to and his dad looks exhausted </3

MY BOY IS THE NEXT GORDON RAMSAY OKAY.

you’re like dead on the money with the independence thing. cause there was no way in hell his mom was making him food, and his dad was probably always at work.

so one day when his mom is passed out in her room, and the time is nearing 7 o’clock, marc takes the money his dad left him for pizza, and instead goes to the convenience store. he’s either buying kraft dinner or cup of noodles/mr noodles (I don’t know which brand the us uses🤷🏼‍♀️), and yeah, he kinda burns it and it doesn’t taste great, but it’s something.

from then on though, he becomes determined. whenever him and his dad went grocery shopping (cause once again, his mom ain’t doing shit), marc was always slipping in ingredients for recipes he found in old cookbooks. he’d pocket pages of recipes, lists of different spices to use—anything he could get his hands on, he tried. his favourite things to make as a kid were chilli and spaghetti, but he’d also learn to make matzoh ball soup and challah. and because kid marc still loved his mom, he definitely made extra in case she was hungry (not that she ever did, but he always made a place for her at the table) :(

truly, I could on forever about this. but in short, marc spector is the most amazing cook you’ve ever met. and yes, he loves taking you out to dates at restaurants, but he’d much rather make dinner with you.

Hey so how would the moon boys react to their s/o who's a fashion designer make something for them?

After noticing their clothes getting cuts and needing new ones.You decided to make them something that they'll like after sketching some designs of clothes they would like.

Also because you're a fashion designer you wanna treat them to new clothes made for them.Even writing down little notes of how each of them like their clothes whether it's colors or sizing,ect.

Maybe even work on something for sexy times with them that their s/o might wear that has pretty golden hieroglyphics on it to surprise them after they come back from work.

If your taking requests or not then you can ignore this.

I think out of all of the moon boys, Steven’s the one who would most fuck with the concept of designing clothes—especially if you’re doing something for him? Sign him the fuck up.

Like Marc and Jake would love that you love it and would be one thousand percent supportive (Jake especially when he finds out you can make lingerie), but Steven would be the one sitting with you at your desk, taking measurements, picking colours, buying you all the supplies you would need, etc.

Okay but like just imagine doing a mental health day with steven and marc.It's where you guys relax for the entire day by doing skincare while eating some of your favorite foods/snacks.In the background there's a show or movie you guys all like or been waiting to watch for some time.

Extra kisses and cuddles are highly recommended during this day.Cause steven and marc we're looking for this after having a tiring night and want to relax.

Okay so I know without a doubt Steven would be obsessed with mental health days.

Steven is so attentive and caring that he would take a whole day just to shop around for bath bombs, face masks, or any new skin care products you’d want to try.

And although Marc is just as caring and attentive (he likes to show people the love he never got as a kid), he doesn’t think—much less know—mental health days are a thing at first. Like with his life as a mercenary and his past experiences, he’s been expected to just deal with his problems and move on. So you’re definitely the one to introduce him to the concept.

But when you tell him that he can take a day just to himself to deal with his stress and anxiety? A day just to relax and do nothing but watch tv and eat Ben and Jerry’s (you two have your own respective cartons cause there’s no way either of you are sharing ice cream) with you? Homeboy becomes the shocked pikachu meme.

And then, much like Steven, he becomes the KING of self-care. Not really for himself (cause he has trauma and unresolved issues still), but for you. He’s always asking if you’re drinking enough water or if you’re feeling okay that day. He even becomes your personal sound board (as you are to him) when you have any sort of frustrations and turns out he’s actually really good at giving advice.

Truly, self-care with Steven and Marc is the best thing in the world. And I want nothing more than to have the two of them (plus Jake) comfort me.
