Guess who just finished the last of the 10 essays we had all throughout the year, and a month early too? Yep that’s right, your girl right here ;D

After getting over a super irrational fear of failing contact lenses, everything just suddenly felt so much lighter and easier! I finished all the other essays through sheer determination and a pinch of idgaf, but the last and hardest case report came so easily, I finished in 1 week, and I feel like I managed to cover the topic even better than the exemplar essay!

Had some free time today, so decided to sit down and plan out food for the upcoming week! Got topsy turvy when I forgot I do this Sunday, and just kept thinking about tomorrow haha. Super excited for Tuesday night and homemade slow cooker beef stew, yum~ Planning out my meals like this allows me to keep track of my time for studying, plus cooking helps me alleviate stress from exams!

Hi, you can call me Lua, which is my nickname because my actual name is Laura. I just started art school at the federal university of my state in Brazil and I am currently in the process of adaptation to this new routine and since my desire is to keep my study life  organized I decided that entering the studyblr community would be of great help, because it keeps me more motivated and focused on my goals.

I am a eighteen year old girl.

I am brazillian, therefore my native language is portuguese, not english. 

I am learning english for professional reasons and sometimes I teach it to kids, as well as other subjects, such as physics. 

I am going to be a art and english teacher (hopefully, I will work hard for it)

I love drawing and journaling, both activities help me copy with my own personal issues.

Hey guys, my name’s Kamryn and this is my first post on my studyblr! I’ve had several accounts over the years and have never willed myself to create content, but with this next school year coming around and my life going towards some big changes, I think it’s about time! About Me:
-Senior in high school
-Theatre Nerd
-Planning on going to college as a Biology and Pre-Med major 
-Future surgeon (If I can handle it haha)
-In the process of applying to college (help) My Interests:
-Anything Shakespeare! I know that’s weird, but the challenging level of his pieces intrigues me
-HUGE science geek. I’m the kid that religiously studies Science Daily and reads books about proteins that cause different disorders and diseases… for fun. 
-I love going to art museums. Can’t draw anything for the life of me (even a circle won’t survive my poor artistic skill), but I adore art museums. 
-STUDYING IS A HOBBY!!! A lot of people find it to be a drag, and it usually is, but I love being able to follow along in discussions and really understanding content. 
-Spanish language and culture has always been a favorite of mine. I’m planning on minoring in college. What I Will Post About:
-Photos of my notes and books to hopefully motivate not only myself but to motivate others
-Interesting studies I find (because like I previously stated, I’m kind of a nerd for science)

✨Hello!✨

I figured now would be a good time as ever to do an introductory post about me since it's the middle of summer and I don't have a particularly busy schedule at the moment. 

My name's Iandivi Peralta, and I am a sophomore in high school. I am 15 years old, and have been following the studyblr community for the past three to four years I believe. I live in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois which is only 1 hour south to where I live. I can speak both English and Spanish fluently, and I am also trying to learn Japanese and Korean.

Currently I am taking a driver's ed course over the summer, to which I attend to every other day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). For the 2017-2018 school year I am enrolled in English Honors level 2, Spanish Honors level 3, Japanese Honors level 2, Chemistry, Geometry, Latin American Studies Honors, Urban Studies 1, and Film Studies (although I am planning to also enroll in Media Collage).

I plan to go to the University of California in LA to study psychology, but it isn’t totally definite since I also want to study film in the far future.

Happy Halloween!!! May your day be blessed with lots of candy and spoopy fun! I had a genetics exam today, so this is my filled out review sheet my super awesome TA made for us. Always use your resources! My ruler made the Punnett Square outlines bleed, but it kinda looks like it’s dripping, which is pretty cool. Our professor gave us extra credit if we came to the exam dressed up, so I wore the only thing I had, which was a maid costume haha. I bought it for cosplay purposes, but it was still a little embarrassing >< 

In other news, I have discovered I say “in other news” a lot. I attribute this to Welcome to Night Vale, which I am 2/3 of the way done with by now. It makes the morning and evening commute bearable!

I started a studyblr not too long ago to motivate myself during quarantine and was wondering how on earth everyone takes such nice pictures of their notes! No matter how hard I try the lighting is always mediocre and it just doesnt look great, like how?????

Hi! Thanks for the ask!

I totally get what you mean about the lighting and taking nice pictures- when I first started my studyblr I had no clue how to replicate the clean bright look of the typical study pictures. I’ve tried to think of some tips for you:

Firstly, try not to worry too much about the look of the photos because I, and the vast majority, of studyblrs will reblog whatever you post regardless of the quality of the picture

NATURAL LIGHT!!!! Like I cannot stress this enough. It makes the biggest difference to any photo that I take. I used to take all my pictures in the evenings when it was dark cause that’s when I got home but I now try to take them in the middle of the day with as much light as possible

Try lots of different angles and set ups. For each set of notes I usually take pictures from at least 4 different angles so play around with it so you can find out what you like

Use apps to edit the photos! I personally use VSCO cause it’s got everything I look for but another popular one is snapseed. I usually always increase the exposure, contrast and clarity. I sometimes also alter the saturation and colour tone of the picture. The important thing is not really to use a specific filter, rather edit each photo individually because every photo will need to be edited in slightly different ways
