Okay, last question from me (probably) what are your favorite and least favorite tropes in horror movies?
Hmmm let's see....
Favorites include (but are not limited to):
Everything was hinting that there was a ghost / monster, but then a perfectly rational explanation showed up, except that OOPS! RED HERRING! Say hi to your doom with a big sexy reveal scare.
This person is horrible. They will come to an appropriately gruesome end. Let's watch, shall we?
Go back and watch this movie again to see all the clues to the wonderfully twisty ending!
Here are some obscure but accurate mythology / history / literature references just for the nerdy people in the audience.
Nature abhors a rich asshole.
Sometimes it's good to have a monster on your side.
Sometimes that monster can be you.
The marginalized character is 100% done with this bullshit and that monster / killer should be running.
Here's a monster. It is unaccountably sexy. Make of that what you will. (AKA the This One's For The Monsterfuckers trope.)
All of this could have been avoided if you just listened to the spooky people.
Least Favorites include (but are not limited to):
All of this could have been avoided if the protagonists weren't so arrogant and abysmally stupid.
All of this could have been avoided if people would just FUCKING TALK TO EACH OTHER.
Sure, the female lead will wreak bloody vengeance, but first we have to have gratuitously graphic assault scenes to give her purpose.
Exactly how long can we drag out this intricate torture scenario / really gross injury visual? Let's find out.
Here's a twist that makes no fucking sense whatsoever. And a plot hole the size of the fucking moon because we ran out of ideas.
You want an explanation? Here's a racist stereotype as a plot device. That's all you're getting.
And here, have a grossly inaccurate witch stereotype while we're at it.
Let's kill some animals for shock value.
Pregnancy is already scary. Let's make it worse.
Fetishizing real-life serial killers sounds like a moneymaker.

I saw your post on Instagram with the song Mary on a Cross, and the song sounded good.
So I found it on YouTube and I loved the song. I listened to a few others, and I think I may like the band, Ghost now.
So. Thanks for introducing me to another good band!
Ah, I'm so glad you like them! This has made me so happy. They're my favourite. 🖤 Welcome to the Nameless Ghouls Cult!
I've been a fan of Ghost for about 10 years now, and it's actually weirdly emotional for me to see them getting more popular, haha!
They deserve it.
I saw them live in April and it was one of the best nights of my life (I’m sorry about the terrible quality of the photo - I had to use my old phone)!

We think it may be reversible.
Remember how basilisks are a part of the Day of Unity?
Now remember how in The First Day a basilisk invades the school, drains the witches magic, but it ultimately their magic gets restored?
Yeah, we think this may be how it plays out but loosely.
That's an interesting idea, and one I don't think I've heard before. Something I have been thinking about is where the series will go from here. The past two seasons have been building up to the Day of Unity, and that’s happening now. So, what next? You present an interesting possibility of the Day of Unity succeeding, and then season 3 could be about figuring out how to reverse the effects of the draining spell. I’m not quite convinced due to how little we’ve heard about basilisks since the reveal of Vee, but I’m not going to rule this idea out, either.

You made a tutorial for the origami pride bottle?
That sounds amazing I'd love to see it get posted if you can do it.
(BTW, I'm actually @randomdragonexe the person who you tried replying to, I'm just using my main account.)
I made a tutorial for how to fold the origami stars— the bottle fill videos are probably a tutorial enough for the bottle filling portion lol
So, I'll be posting the star folding tutorial tomorrow :)

How do you feel about the Nightmare on Elm Street movies and Franchise?
Freddy is my favorite of the 1980s franchise villain crop. Having had my struggles with involuntary insomnia, I know what it's like to go a few nights without sleep and it's a horrible experience all on its' own, without the added peril of a wisecracking monster waiting to slash one to ribbons.
I think I've watched "Never Sleep Again" about half a dozen times and used to have spirited debates with a previous boyfriend (who was firmly on Team Friday the 13th) whether Freddy vs Jason was an accurate reflection of how such a battle would actually go. (We disagreed on the particulars, but we both loved the movie for what it was.)

Love the thought of Leo just casually being well traveled to absurd degrees. Like one day they’re facing their new Big Bad of the year and like, Draxum or whoever says that the key to their fight is located somewhere in, like, Latvia or some place, but no one knows where to start.
Then Leo’s like “oh I know a place” and when asked how the heck he could know of one it smash cuts to Leo falling through the ceiling of said place due to a portal mishap.
Also love the idea of Leo, being as accidentally (and then later, purposefully) well traveled as he is, sometimes taking his family on outings to different places all over, maybe to some new Yokai spots he found along the way.
In these places, Leo 100% lets his bros get scammed by tourist traps.

So Luz’s meeting with Dad-Titan in the finale actually really nicely explained WHY there needed to be the whole time-loop with Luz being the one to teach Phillip/Belos how to use glyphs.
It affirms/reinforces the idea that Belos was always nothing but a fraud who never had any true understanding of the power he was using. Because it’s clear he COULDN’T figure out glyphs on his own and never would have without help. At the end of the day, ALL the knowledge and power Belos had was either given by others or stolen from them.
Instead, it was ALWAYS Luz who figured out how glyphs worked. SHE was the one who actually connected with the Titan. Luz was always the one to understand the magic she was using.
