23. What’s the story idea you’ve had in your head for the longest?

Answered here but I can share a little more.

Essentially, Zuko works at a school with a loathsome pedagogy. So he quits and transfers to one where the rest of the Gaang work as teachers. Katara doesn’t trust him because of where he came from, but, eventually, there is lots of ❤️ between the two of them. I really love the idea of this story, but the subplot is killing me and I can’t seem to get it to clarify itself yet. It involves Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee. I know that. But it’s just...stuck in research and development at this point.

Review: Who doesn’t LOVE an adventure story with Zuko and Katara!?

In this tale, Zuko & Katara are required to rely on one another to complete the mission ahead, as they once again, set out on an adventure to save the world.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Gaang have their own missions to complete, which all coincide.

The Conduit is said to be a very ancient being that was created by the Spirits in the Spirit world to be the opposite of the Avatar! A prophecy foretells that The Conduit must be stopped at all costs. But it’s so powerful; it’s going to take the ol’ Gaang working together to take it down!

The Adventure is intriguing & the Fluff is AMAZING!!!! I love it SO MUCH!!!

This story is now completed! (Finished in Nov. 2020) And promises us a SEQUEL!!! XD

all that lies within by @tonguetidee - this has to be my favorite fic so far. the concept is genius. zuko and katara on an adventure during the events of the boiling rock?? sign. me. up. (honestly just read all their works because their writing is amazing)

family portraits by princess_zel - this fic just warms my heart. it really shows the off the family dynamics and it’s really sweet. disclaimer: it also includes sokka x azula but it’s not the main focus.

butter sunlight by bombshells - it’s slowburn so there’s no romantic zutara yet but it features zuko abolishing the monarchy. it’s incomplete but it’s definitely worth the read.

blue brought us together by @hugs4zuko - this fic is a modern au and it’s literally the cutest.

the ninety-nine percent fresh series by glowgal - modern au featuring actress!katara and zuko who is head-over-heels in love with her as he should be 😌

the ghost of you by @the-savage-daughter-0627 - this fic was so heartwrenching yet so, so good. warning: it features character death.
