Artist ask!! 9. What are you currently trying to improve?

Hi @the9mm!

Backgrounds lol I spent so many years going out of my way to avoid backgrounds that once I finally started to get into digital art, I found I had an easier time when it came to fixing my mistakes/experimenting where I couldn't with pencils.

...and when I did add in a background in older work, it feels like a bare minimum to get it rounded out when I know I used so many layers of colors 😂 with digital yeah there's premade brushes but you still need layering/picking appropriate colors. I mean I don't know how far I'll be able to push my skills, but I reckon it's like hands: there'll be days I can do it well...and others will be missing a knuckle or a finger, but the idea's there 🤣
