Today I am feeling frazzled but instead of leaning in and falling into a true pity party I am trying hard to find positive outlets. I got my husband out the door to an appointment he didn’t want to attend but that was very necessary. Then started the coffee, choosing a flavor that will fill our home with beautiful scents. I went out to the deck and using my calm app did a meditation. Today’s topic happened to be humanity and kindness. I enjoy my deck time so much. I went on Pinterest to review how to repot houseplants. It is supposed to reduce anxiety to care for houseplants. I moved them from the deck to the kitchen and followed the steps to rinse them and added the nutrients rich soil to the pots and set them upstairs in the loft. They look so pretty along my office wall. I made so brownies for my husband and for some folks who have been kind this week. I listened to the rosary and I was starting my housework. I am still feeling tightly wound but I feel much better than if I had allowed those negative thoughts to take over.
