I didn't know The Breakfast Guild was originally a webcomic! Do you have a place to read it online?
On the last page of the pitch there is a website that is where I put all of the comics. Unfortunately I don’t really update it anymore because it ended up being too much work for me. There are four chapters that are the old version of the comic and one chapter of the new version. Both a pretty old now though.

for the D&D asque:
66, 64, 39, 36, 32, 15, 16, 5, & 9?
Right, half-drow traumatized Ranger man, here we go!
5. How does your character express they’re comfortable?
By not being so uptight.
Jace is, as a whole, always somewhat on-guard about anything going wrong, and is therefore either always subtly on-guard for something going wrong, or a really stiff individual.
If he's not being overly polite and isn't consistently fretting over something, he's managed to find a rare space that he's comfortable in (the fact that he actively goes out of his way to show affection to Chester and the two Displacer cubs he somehow adopted/was chosen by says a lot about how comfortable he is around the two and around theGuild Hall as a whole)
9. What is their favorite scent?
Freshly-cut pine.
It's part of why one of his few downtime activities is whittling.
15. Describe their ideal date.
Jace hasn't even had this idea cross his mind, really, so he hasn't had the time to think about it.
If he did, it would probably actually be a night out in nature together. Hiking around the hills near Holtan, topped off by some roasted food over a campfire, heading back into town, getting a few cool drinks...
The man's gone through a lot, but he is also a Ranger. He likes being able to actually enjoy nature a bit. It was nice to him during his exile when he needed it.
16. What keeps them going?
His need to either find redemption, or a meaningful way tp make a difference, however that comes about.
32. Does your character daydream? What do they usually keep their mind occupied with?
No, he doesn't, at least not often. He's been alone with his own thoughts before and it terrified him. So he tries to keep busy as best he can with things like whittling, caring for the displacer cubs, helping care for Chester, going through his parents' journals training any of his many skills, foraging, etc.
Although between Ashes and Oz (and to some degree, Squirrel), along with his one main bluff and performance with that one banshee near Haaverthorne, he has started to realize that maybe he can afford his mind a bit of time to think about things that aren't awful, because occasionally good things come out from that.
36. What makes them blush?
Uh, alcohol.
He also hasn't seen enough over displays of affection from anyone yet because he's a very cagey individual when it comes to personal relationships, but if it ever happens it's going to reduce him to a very bright purple (because drow) stammering mess.
39. What does your character believe their party lacks?
Used to think it was general intelligence.
Thinks that a bit less so these days.
Uuuuuh a healer, at this point. He knows Ashes and Oz can heal, but that's not their main specialty or role, and even though he took the time to learn Cure Wounds (via a level-up), he does think the party likely needs a dedicated healer given how reckless the party has been in running into big fights (which he has accepted at this point is because they can't just sit there while bad things happen, and everyone has learned to tackle things strategically regardless)
64. What is one thing they want each party member to know?
He wants Ashes to know she's not Surtr, she's her own person.
He wants Oz to know that being a Emerald Knight isn't going to be the determining value of her worth as a person, that there are far more things that make her a worthwhile person as-is.
He wants squirrel to know about the concept of morality.
He wants Rothgar to know that he's not annoyed at him so consistently because he's a dwarf, but because he's an extrovert.
66. Outward Passion or Quiet Rebellion?
Wants to claim the former, is actually the latter despite his best efforts.
