Haven't had a lot of time to colour it, so I went with a black and white old movie look. Hond characters as classic movie monsters. Quasi of course can be two at the same time! XD And as the Phantom. Phoebus is Frankenstein's monster, Esme is the wolfman- or wolf girl, in this case, Clopin, Dracula, and Frollo as the Mummy- I chose him as that because if you have ever watched Eerie Indiana, Tony Jay was in an episode of that- dressed a mummy.
Some more #soundtrack collecting. Got more #disneymusic with #TheLionKing #thelegacycollection #TheHunchbackof NotreDame and #Hercules. Got some #HenryMancini #PinkPanther and the original #Ghostbusters #soundtrack. Then I focused on some tv with #Westworld #Music #moviemusic #televisionmusic
“Such a clever witch...So typical of your kind to twist the truth to cloud the mind with unholy thoughts!"”
You know, I don’t think I’ve photographed these two together- well not outside of the safety of the box. XD
I finished doing some touch-ups to my Frollo doll: new paint job, braid/edging around the shoulder piece, a new collar, and re-bodied him too. I had to elevate him a little on a stand so it looks right- as he is actually a little shorter than the Disney store Esmeralda doll.
Well, he hates parties, but he made it, begrudgingly. XD
Drawing him was a lot easier than making it! So it's about time I got around to drawing this proper. Inspired by the Midnight Masquerade' series released in 2020.
Of course, being in the digital medium with all of the freedoms inherent therein, I can add on all the details and flourishes I couldn't do on the physical version, like with the ridiculously long hat sash, and with the added 'cape petals' if you can call it that - taking the gothic stained glass windows of the Cathedral as inspiration to incorporate into the design: in fact so much so, I based the stained glass pattern on the real Rose windows- just a very small part of it. And of course which are what the panels with the flames on represent; the tall gothic windows.
This masquerade mask design incorporated a flaming torch, his horse, and the eyeholes of the mask incorporate the red hooded figures as seen in Hellfire.
