These are all going to be Evelyn/MacCready-centric because I'm LOCKED IN on those two rn

Long post because brevity is not my strong suit & I got carried away again, as I do with most things.

OTP ask game

4. What do physical trait do they love the most about each other?

MacCready wouldn't openly choose a favorite, but it's definitely her hair. He loves playing with it, and getting to do so means they're in a situation where they can relax and just be. It does as much for him as it does for her. Touch-starved couple things. Also on a monkey-brain bonding type of beat.

As for Evelyn, she loves Mac's eyes and his hands. I think choosing between the two would kill her. He always looks at her so softly, and it makes her feel like she's drowning in him. Disgusting! With his hands, she likes watching them, specifically watching him work with them, but generally as well. It's something of a fascination/fixation for her. Whether he's cleaning his rifle, running his fingers through her hair, or writing something, he's always very gentle about it. To her, his hands are like a breath of fresh air. Like aloe to her burns. Like learning that cotton and thread counts exist after only knowing sand paper and its varying grits. This metaphor is getting weird now sorry, I've been looking at getting new sheets recently lol

9. Do their friends and family like their significant other(s)?

MacCready doesn't have too many friends in the Commonwealth. They're all mostly mutual friends that know/love Evelyn already. Duncan LOVES her, though - he's a very social kid. They have a lot of fun together. Eve will often use a stealth boy while giving him a piggy-back ride so they can scare MacCready. He hates this because he startles easy when his guard is down. He learns to keep an ear out for them when he notices it's gotten a little too quiet, but he hams it up when they do the reveal just to hear them fall into giggle fits. Nothing sounds more like pure bliss to him than that.

As for Shaun, he was very hesitant at first about Mac, but he came around when MacCready introduced him to the world of comic books. They'll sit in a room with a huge spread in front of them and just read together in silence, handing off comics to each other as they finish them. They could discuss them for HOURS on end, too. MacCready is very impressed with Shaun and his interpretations of things and often consults him for his viewpoints on different lore aspects. Shaun is also helping Mac with his grammar/spelling. This leads them to collaborate on various writing projects, with the ultimate goal being to write a comic of their own. Evelyn is in fucking shambles over them both being such huge nerds.

10. Have they had romantic partners before?

Yes and no. MacCready had Lucy, but Evelyn's past partners were all sexual. Except that one time she was married (we all know how that ended *ominous cryogenic crackling sounds, gunshots* smh), but it wasn't really a true relationship despite the legal paperwork. Points for both of them trying though ig.

Side note: Evelyn isn't jealous of Lucy. Sometimes MacCready talks about her and I feel like Evelyn has the potential to be the jealous type, but she's really not. Idk why I feel the need to clarify that because the distinction is important to me: she's more the type to mark her territory tbh

23. Is there top/dom and bottom/sub energy?

Evelyn has the dom energy without a doubt. Day to day, she definitely LOVES having MacCready on a leash and he is more than happy to be dragged around by the scruff of his neck. She gives him head pats as needed for reassurance of course. No one is shocked by this.

The surprise is entirely behind closed doors because they lose a lot of that energy in the bedroom. That, for these two, is a safe space where they escape to the quiet intimacy of one another. THAT'S where their soft sides can freely come out and they can give/receive the comfort they both desperately crave. Not to say they don't get down and freaky with it from time to time (see: below), but their sex life is more like a Hozier song as in it's deeply passionate & there's lots of worship and affirmation/TLC given. Total opposite to their public life, but they deserve to be treated with gentleness.

When they do get freaky with it (drop everything and fuck after clearing out a building of enemies kind of deal), it's usually quick and dirty. The idea that they don't carry those dynamics into the bedroom continues during their more public, fuck nasty stints. They're both pulling each other's hair and biting and scratching, both equally as desperate and domineering. It's mostly fueled by adrenaline, partly by the need to affirm that they're each okay, to basically be like "that was close, don't you dare fucking do that to me again". Plus, they're both oddballs and something about the way they work so seamlessly together and hardly need to communicate really gets the blood pumping/makes them feel really close. Work is very intimate for these two, especially when a job is done right. Fucking after a job is the same as a cigarette after sex to them, with the added bonus of burning off the rest of their adrenaline.

2p! America and 1p! norway with a streamer girl s/o and one day people say really mean stuff to her on stream in a game so she just ends the stream and just. cries. (I need some comfort rn people on game can be MEAN omg)

1p Norway mostly worries about how she is. He'd offer to make her a hot drink and to let her just talk about it, he's not very good at giving advice or verbally comforting but is good at listening to people. He doesn't play many video games, nor does he understand much about streaming, but he understands that she's upset and he wants to try and help her feel better as much as possible.

2p America offers to shit talk back if it ever happens again, his morals go out the window when in an argument. If she doesn't like that, he'll try some other approach. Comforting has never really been his strong suit, people crying makes him freeze up, so he mostly tries distraction of any form, likely cuddling and watching something to make her feel better. He is trying, it's just usually not good.

What did you eat for lunch today? I’ve been eating nothing but New Year leftovers for the last two days - today, it was baked salmon and beef in truffle sauce. Would you rather vacation by a beach or a lake? Beach, only because I haven’t had many experiences with lakes and wouldn’t know what it’s like to live near one. But I like the sea anyway, so.

Have you watched any good horror/thriller movies lately? It’s not so ‘lately’ anymore but the last one I watched was Parasite, which I ended up loving a lot. The plot twist was impressively done.

How would you feel about traveling abroad alone? As exciting as it sounds it’s also a bit daunting, which is why I’ve always kind of backed out of doing it. I know that something will feel much less scary as soon as you try doing it, so idk why I haven’t done traveled by myself yet when I’ve wanted to do it for quite some time now – I even have too many bookmarks on my Airbnb at this point lol. I hope to finally try it at least once in 2023. What was the last thing you watched on TV? I’m currently half-watching the telepathy episode of Run BTS.

Do you know your blood type? Honestly, I keep forgetting what it is.

Yesterday, did you get up before 9am? Yes, I woke up at 7. I think my body clock is able to tell that I go back to work Wednesday lol.

How is your hair? Uh, fine, I guess. I just showered so it feels healthy and bouncy rn.

Name something great that happened today? While watching Wrestlemania 38 this morning I realized that the match I was watching was being officiated by a female referee. Idk how long WWE has been doing this but it felt really good :) and it helped me get into the match more.

How many different people of the opposite sex have you really cried over? Like, because of love? None. I’ve only ever cried from loss-related situations, like when my grandpa died or as a kid whenever we had to bring my dad to the airport.

The Philippines is still largely a cash-basis country though - especially in the provinces!!! - so the habit bites me back in the ass occasionally because I keep forgetting to withdraw for out-of-town trips lol. My friends have most definitely had to cover for me more than once.

How old were you when you started buying your own clothes? Towards the end of high school and start of college. I was a late bloomer as I wasn’t really given the avenues to express myself when I was younger, so it took me a while to find my footing and figure out what I genuinely wanted to wear.

Who does most of the chores in your house? My mom, only because she likes stuff done a certain way.

What is your least favourite household chore? Folding clothes. It strains my back, but generally I also don’t like touching other people’s clothes even if at that point they’re all squeaky clean.

What was your first job? Did you like it? My first job is also my current one, although I’ve been promoted since then. As for liking it, I will say that I was definitely wide-eyed at first - as any fresh grad landing her first job would be - but I can’t be any more jaded at this point. It’s the people who make the job easier to stay in.

What was the last food you were craving? Did you get some? Baked sushi. Yup, I bought a party tray for media noche.

Have your wisdom teeth come through yet? I’ve since had two of them removed and I know at least one more is bound for extraction because my dentist already pointed it out lol.

How many weddings have you been to? A lot when I was younger; I can’t possibly count them all because I know I’d miss a few ones. I haven’t been to one since 2007 though.

Do you watch Youtube? What channels do you like? Yes. I watch so many BTS fan channels that make compilation videos of the boys; but I also enjoy informative ones like Vice Asia, Insider Business, National Geographic, and channels for entertainment like GMM, ODG, Try Guys, Jolly.

Have you ever used a public pay phone? I was born in the final leg of the era when they used to be prevalent, but I’ve never actually used one.

/[Insert cool updates from Butch Hartman course]?

As far as I imagine the agents are involved, I think mostly of felines, deerfolk, moths, bees, foxes, nagas, hares, bears, humans and androids (instruments, robots, droids, synthetics...)

For the backdrop environements, I feel like emulating my quite forested suburb of a hometown with alot of additional unique flair would suffice plenty, albeit with tweaks over the geography and human geometry, like adding Y2K translucent solarpunk buildings, some edwardian park landmarks and 70s stylish constructions. With much cyan + some magenta neons signage and lights from a bigger coastal city at night, and the warm woodland (browns, amber, olive greens...) tones at day.

Definitely gonna try my best to use much linguistic diversity here, considering the subject matter of several cultures (timely and divine wise too) taking much material from my constructed world project and IRL...

I imagine this cartoon world between a game and a productivity suite, in a place akin to software toys but agnostic of medium. That being said, I play around with the technical parts of my conworld down to the history of data processing, operating systems, and alot of technological matters that are ~80% similar to OTL. There are morphological freedoms, geo-syndicalist political culture (not yet solarpunk but quite closer) and a strong sense of navigating past present and future as one that goes beyond nostalgia.

Library economy and heavily stylized graphics are present. Also, I am inspired by a huge thread of franchises, from Halo 2 to Bionicle, with elements from Helluva Boss, Lackadaisy, Quake 1, Portal 2, Powerpuffs, Wakfu, Alien 1, Wolfenstein The New Order, The Stanley Parable, TIS-100, Quadrilateral Cowboy, The Witness... and overall history & contemporary culture.

Also got some 'Game of Prosperity', Prospero, Landlord's Game, Monopoly, Cluedo, Werewolves of Miller's Hollow Pact, Century A New World, Carcasonne, Hypnospace Outlaw, Senators, print & play games, GURPS, Cyberpunk RED, D20 system, Pathfinder and many many indie TTRPGs.

My mainline story concept rn is pretty much a curiosity-driven addventure where Klara & Nil, assisted by Ava & Constanz get to adapt and overcome trauma as they integrate into my fictional world and empower themselves and others to do the same. A couple of sidearcs are present, one about synthetics' rights and another about accepting oneself to reach their full potential.

It happens in my conworld, initially around my hometown of Maskoch and then extended to the full ranger of the planet

Core target audience are Zillenials, with some Millenials and Gen Z folks included. The actual number of actor characters goes beyond the recommended maximum of 20.

I will disclose the specifics for the main actor agents / characters on a later date... but like I wrote, the main goal of the narrative is to improve the world around us and empower ourselves too. And also better relate to autistic folks like the author that I am.

*The meta-narrative may include heavy use of time travel, some use of mystical magicks, nostalgias, controversial social issues, profound topics, politics, autism, furries and queers, among many other taboos.

👁️ EYE - what colour are their eyes? do people notice their eyes? is there anything special about them (shows emotion easily, literally magical...)?

He has blue eyes, nothing special about them. They have seen too much, and Thomas (his boyfriend) loves looking into his eyes.

🎂 BIRTHDAY CAKE - when is their birthday? do they like celebrating it?

Born April 10, 1895! He did before the war, but now he doesn't like to though he will bake himself a cake anyway (if his mother doesn't).

🌋 VOLCANO - how bad is their temper? is it a slow boil, or a instant explosion?

His temper is very controlled, probably due to his taking the war SO seriously and his leadership role. Rarely do we see him lose his temper but he is a scary man in general so when he is angry with you he will sound so calm and direct some men piss themselves I swear.

⚾ BASEBALL - can they play sports? what is their best position if they play a team sport? what's their strong suit (speed, power etc.)?

He can play cricket (bowler), Aussie rules football (centre) he is good with power he is very built from the war. When he gets home though he doesn't do much sport, maybe a game of cards with some pals every Friday night.

✏️ PENCIL - is there a particular quote / lyric that you associate with them?

I have a Pinterest board with 300+ pins and multiple playlists with 100+ songs --- I have so many. But a couple I think of rn are:

He isn't, probably because he is so used to such loud sounds. Maybe if he is asleep and it catches him off guard he'll think it's a bomb or grenade.

Ms. Cupid in Love - which has been surprisingly nice. i like the atmosphere and the story, the styling suits the characters and i even like all of them. it’s a comedy so it’s silly but i like that for me amongst all these darker things am watching

The Tuxedo - tbh am not sure why am watching this but it does give me weekly amusement for those ~25 minutes haha

Cupid’s Last Wish - now that we finally are getting this on youtube am so ready to break my heart! and possibly laugh. am not sure quite yet how this is going to be but the first ep did get me super emotional

the gay innuendos in this drama are insane and i love them for it jdfghfjkg

My Country: The New Age - currently a bit on hold bc i am just not emotionally strong enough. but i wish to continue soon

Not Me - putting this here bc i have plans to binge this during the weekend now that i have time for it. ready to get my ass handed to me, again

Theory of Love - also mentioning this here bc i just finished rewatching this and am just. i think this was even better now on my second watch bc you end up looking at many of the scenes very differently when you know things about the characters. surprising to none, i cried my heart out

You’re My Sky - i’ve had some ups and downs with this one. i was very hyped for this in the beginning as i was positively surprised by how good this series felt. i loooove the cinematography of this and the filming style is just everything to me (i cannot stop looking at the added noise. it makes this show feel like some retro movie). then in the middle i got a bit bored as things seemed to be a bit slow and just circling around the same things. and then ep 11 came along and absolutely ruined me but also recovered my love for this series. it’s a hidden gem. please go watch it if you wish to see how loving sports can shape relationships (especially fah and thorn punched me in the gut with how their relationship gets tied with the sport they both love)

Enchanté - tbh i was not very interested in this one back when it started. the trailer wasn’t that appealing to me and i was still high on bad buddy so i wasn’t ready to start anything i wasn’t 100% into. but i think my curiosity got the best of me once i started seeing gifs of ep 7 or something? looking forward to binging this once the final ep drops

Semantic Error - my dear aamna already came to tell me that i need to watch this and with all the gifs i’ve seen am very intrigued ^^ just waiting for the right mood to hit one of these days

Kissable Lips - i watched the first ep back when it dropped and didn’t really get into it but maybe now i can watch the whole thing (and cry?)

KinnPorche - i am very curious about this one (also very intrigued by the fact that this airs on iqiyi?? what) and i feel like this comes as a good bday present to me so going into this without expecting anything but ready for everything

Star and Sky: Star in My Mind - after spending the last week with Safe House s3 boys (yes i indeed got up every morning at 6.45am to watch the midday stream, don’t at me), i am looking forward to this a lot now. i would’ve checked this out for joong anyway, but him and dunk seemed to have a good chemistry in the house so now am expecting good things from this ^^ also the trailer looked super angsty so ready to shed a lot of tears

(not mentioning the dramas we don’t know any dates for yet or those that are happening in the very far away future so this doesn’t become ages long)

just soft boys. whom i adore. god i’ve missed joong’s pretty face so bad, am still not really sure it’s real that i get to see him again like this ;;

sorry this became so long! am just currently floating in all of my dramas haha. wishing for most of them to just come out Faster. please i beg. (especially Vice Versa has me by the neck and is dragging me across the lawn, i get way too hyped about that ;; like the fact that they’re doing readings now... absolutely insane, throw me to the lake)
