There is no hint of malice in Changsheng's eyes. Nothing but pure, instant, teamwide healing with no circle impact or energy hunting. What a kind world.

Why are lizards and salamanders so similar in shape?

#it’s also just basically the ancestral shape of the sarcopterygian fishes that we are descended from #African lungfish look so much like salamanders you’d be forgiven for confusing the two #mammals and birds and tortoises and frogs are just heavily modified from this splayed-stance long-tail tetrapod shape #snakes and caecilians are just variation on the theme of ‘how much leg is actually needed for my lifestyle’ where the answer is zero #but remember that salamanders and lizards are really only superficially similar #answers by mark #anon #anonymous

thank you so much for creating Slay the Princess- i’ve been itching to play it again!!!! it’s such an unique experience and i can’t understate how much i absolutely adore it and its premise!!!

if i may ask, how many different versions of the princess are there? i know you get only a handful each playthrough, but a letsplayer i watched after had some very different experiences.

Aw, thank you so much for enjoying the game!! We had a lot of fun making it, so it's wonderful to hear that it left such an impression ^_^ I believe there are... 19 main princess designs? With a little variation depending on choices! For instance, there's a possible dramatic change in appearance in one of the Chapter 3s based on a choice you can make, and another Chap. 3 has a somewhat major change in design and atmosphere depending on how you got there.

And perhaps there are more coming with the Pristine Cut.... perhaps........ 👀

horribly curious because I've seen lots of different takes on this and I'd like to know what the general consensus is

#ive seen arguments for and against it being thk's room. like the theme of the nursery being a variation of the shade's theme #and how giving thk a nursery in the first place would instill some uh. ideas so why do that. its also implied wl used to sit in there a lot #and she did not see them as her child so idk! #It could be hornet's. i forgot the arguments for and against that one but i also think this is timeline dependant #and some people think its just unused. a room manifested from regret. im totally clueless myself #i need to brush up on my lore lol #hollow knight

i've made this post before but i'll say it again: emma h2o just add water and her family should have had a dog, preferably a giant affectionate one. like imagine emma is taking a bath obvi in her mermaid form, the bathroom door handle starts to rattle and emma panics, begging the person on the other side not to come in. then in trots the enormous fluffy gilbert family labrador that gives her the confused head-tilt dogs do when they don't understand something at the sight of her tail, much to emma's relief. i'm right

Utterly in character and absolutely perfect that Ashton saw Keyleth, heard her say both "I've been angry for 30 years" and talk about the productive use of anger (shortly after having an epiphany re their own anger and self-pity) and openly say "I hope we never find out what a world without the gods looks like" and turns around and is like "well cool first half! anyway time to be weird at a skeleton."
