I had to be up early for my dental appointment. They usually have you waiting for ages in the waiting room (even if you’re the first appointment of the day & come 30 min early as they request), so I did some practice questions while waiting. I made sure to request a medical note this time (I didn’t know how last appointment), so now I don’t have to worry too much about today’s absence because it will be excused. I took it easy for a few hours after my appointment becauseI always get in a weird mood post-dental work (especially if they use anesthetic & the x-ray equipment which is really painful for me). I spent some time chatting with my mom then did some more practice questions (they’re good for slowly building up my drive to study). I got through most of my remaining lectures for the exam & can easily finish the rest the next day with the remaining practice question files.
Today’s Productive Activities:
+ Completed 3 pathology lectures
+ Completed clinical practice questions
+ Focused for almost 4 hours
+ Attended dental appointment, booked upcoming appointment, requested a medical note (missed a lecture for this appointment), sent my medical excuse to my student affairs officer
+ Made a heathy breakfast

I ended up just skipping all of my lectures today. My exams on Thursday, so I’m focusing what little energy I have this week on studying. Today’s main goal was trying to finish the last 3 anatomy lectures included in the exam. I’ve got a dental appointment tomorrow, so I’ll be missing my lectures then too (they’re all lectures coming in the exam that I self-studied, so it’s fine + while my attendance this block isn’t the best, I can miss these lectures as long as I don’t skip too much in the next half of the block). I’ve started using a new study source for anatomy this block and it feels like such a massive difference, but I won’t know if it was actually effective until post-exam.
Today’s Productive Achievements:
+ Completed 3 anatomy lectures
+ Completed physiology practice questions
+ Focused for over 3 hours
+ Washed a load of laundry
+ Edited & printed my meeting notes

I felt more energetic this morning which was great, but my digestions was a little rough due to my snacking the day before. I made myself some delicious soup and it really helped. My trainer made me do a km of endurance training which was intense (I just recently started learning for to swim properly). I was very sleepy for most of the day and ended up taking a few naps. Luckily, I still managed to get through a few lectures between the naps.
Today’s Productive Achievements:
+ Completed 4 gastroenterology lectures
+ Completes week three’s practice questions
+ Focused for 2 hours
+ Made a healthy lunch/dinner
+ Did a load of laundry
+ Went to swim practice
+ Deep cleaned the cat litter boxes
+ Picked up groceries

Good evening!
I’ve had the last week off and will be continuing classes tomorrow. It’s been nice to have an extended period of time off usually our breaks are either really short (3 day weekend) or right before an exam so they just devolve into self study days. I feel mostly refreshed. Today and yesterday I focused on cleaning up and washing all my dirty laundry, so I could go back into the block with fresh surroundings.
Today’s Activities:
+ Studied for 131 min
+ Washed my bed sheets, blankets, & duvets
+ Remade my bed
+ Vacuumed my room
+ Temporarily repaired 2 of the water damaged tables I’ve been meaning to get to for ages (I have a plan for them but I’m going to do it over the summer break)
+ Made breakfast, lunch, & dinner + made a lunch to take on campus
+ Swam 1 hour
+ Put away laundry
+ Cleaned the litter boxes

Good evening! Finally back on my studyblr, 2 weeks later than expected,. I didn’t expect to be so busy the last 2 weeks but I had a lot of extracurriculars + my swim classes stuffed in my schedule. I have a consistent issue of signing up for too many things at the same time and being spread thin. Luckily, I have nothing aside from swimming & my low-commitment track & basketball practice (don’t have to come if I’m busy or just not feeling up to it). I do have an intro to taekwondo later this week that I’m excited for. It’s only one intro class, so no need for any long-term planning to fit it in w/ my other sports.
Today I spent most of the day cleaning & doing laundry but managed to get some studying & summary making in at night. I did one session at home & second session out w/ a friend at a cafe. There’s a new season of Hilda out, and I LOVE that show and ended up watching a few episodes today. It’s such a light-hearted series.
Today’s Productive Activities:
+ Studies & summarized 2 lectures
+ Focused for 145 minutes
+ Made a study plan for my finals in 2 weeks
+ Washed my bedding
+ Washed my laundry
+ Vacuumed rug & sent to cleaners
+ Vacuumed room
+ Cleaned up an accident by my cat (bless his lil messy soul)
+ Finally got rid of the plant I was deluding myself into thinking wasn’t dead yet (she’d 100% passed ages ago)
+ Took out the trash

Only had a meeting on campus today, so I went in for that then headed home. I wanted to grab groceries on the way back but the parking lot was full and there was no where nearby to park. I really wanted to have roasted carrots & chicken thighs today, but unfortunately because I couldn’t get any groceries I don’t have all the ingredients. My exams tomorrow afternoon, so this is the final full day of studying (I will be revising before the exam). I can’t wait to finish this exam because I have a whole week off with nothing to study for after which rarely ever happens w/ our schedule (usually we would have an exam immediately after the break).
Today’s Productive Achievements:
+ Completed 3 lectures
+ Completed all the remaining practice questions files
+ Focused for a little over 4 1/2 hours
+ Cleaned the litter boxes
+ Made a healthy dinner
+ Went to my meeting

I skipped half of my classes today, so that I would have enough energy to study when I got home. I don’t understand why they would overfill our class schedule the week of an exam. Tomorrow’s schedule is worse because there’s a 3 hour break midday & I can’t focus enough to study on campus. I’ll probably stay home & study in the morning and only attend the afternoon lectures. I’m ngl I’m feeling a little burnt out but luckily there’s a week off after the exam, so I just need to hold out a few more days. Surprisingly, I’m not too sore after yesterday’s endurance training. Just 10 more lectures to get through before the exam!

I was very exhausted the whole day, which wasn’t ideal. I still managed to get some studying & practice questions in but not as much as I would have liked, considering that I’ll have less time to study tomorrow because I forgot I actually have swim training tomorrow I can’t miss. Hopefully, tomorrow’s training helps me feel a bit more energized. I need to restock my snacks soon & get groceries in general.
Today’s Productive Achievements:
+ Woke up at 6:45 AM
+ Completed 1 anatomy lecture
+ Completed 2 physiology lectures
+ Completed 2 gastroenterology lectures
+ Completed the practice questions for the second week’s lectures

I really needed to buckle down & properly go over the lectures, so I deleted all my social media apps & used a focus app to help me concentrate. I’ve been trying to be more disciplined in my life this block, but had been too focused on diet & exercise, leaving out proper studying (only kept up with pathology & clinical lectures). I will still be focusing on diet & exercise as a healthy body makes for a more productive life, but I will be replacing my usual social media scrolling w/ studying (which is why I removed my social media apps, they’re too tempting). Usually I would swim at least once during my weekend, but I will be skipping my swim to focus on the upcoming midterm this week. I will still be attending my 2/week track team practice & will swim again after the exam. Unfortunately, because I need to get through a good chunk of study material & practice questions these 3 days, I had to delay an outing with some friends. It’s only delayed by a week though, so I will hopefully be seeing them soon!
Today’s Productive Achievements:
+ Woke up at 9 AM
+ Washed my duvet, sheets, & blankets + remade my bed
+ Completed 2 anatomy lectures divided into 3 sessions
+ Completed a physiology lecture
+ Completed the practice questions for the first week’s lectures [57 pages]
+ Focused for a little over 5 1/2 hours today
+ Made a healthy breakfast, lunch, & dinner [adequate protein for my workouts + consumed 5 different vegetables throughout my meals]
+ Vacuumed
+ Completed the requested edits for a document I worked on

First day of online classes and I’m already tireddd. I got a new kitten and had to keep waking up to feed him. The classes weren’t too hard but they really droned on. I’m figuring out how to more effectively take notes on notability so they’re still a bit messy.

Good morning! It’s the second week of classes and they’ve already given us dates for looming quizzes, midterms, and finals. We just started but they already feel like they’re tomorrow. I’ll need to start studying for a biostat quiz I have later this week. I added them to my calendar, but I took the photo today before I added them.

100 Days of Productivity Challenge Day 42/100
Good morning! I really didn’t want to get out of bed this morning...T-T. I woke up 3 times in the night and each time was for a different reason. I ended up sleeping in bursts instead of one big sleep cycle, so I’m not refreshed at all. I gotta try and take a nap this afternoon or something. My dumb baby has decided to make an appearance in today’s photo.
I just tried paprika flavored Pringles for the first time today and my god they’re delicious. They’ve beat out my favorite flavors, BBQ and hot & Spicy, by a long shot. I just might become addicted to these I just love paprika so much!
Here’s a quick rundown of my day.
Woke up at 7:45 AM
Attended class, 1 hour
Attended lecture, 1 hour
Attended class, 1 hour
Had an hour break,

100 Days of Productivity Challenge Day 38/100
Good morning! Today is another day to do my best. I’m in a planning mood, so I wanna try and get some plans put together or revised for my workouts, finances, schedule, etc.
I’ve been sleeping like a rock lately and it’s amazing. I actually wake up and can focus on classes as opposed to last semester where I’d be completely out of it for most of my morning classes and struggling to stay awake. I’m pretty sure it’s cause I’ve been working out consistently. My resting heart rate went up during quarantine because of how sedentary I was but it’s back to what it was before quarantine now! I was gonna rest today but I’d like to use one of my InBody scans today, so I can have something to track my progress. I know they’re not very accurate but I’m not using it to get exact numbers. I’d just like to be able to vaguely track my progress to see if I’m going in the right direction. Since I’m heading there anyways I may as well try out a new class. There’s a TRX class that I’ve been curious about so I might pop in if I feel like my body is up for it. If not I’ll just walk a bit, stretch then head home.
Apparently I have to fast for 4 hours before the InBody scan, so I”ll have to do it a different day. I also found out that the T in TRX stands for torture. My arms have never been so abused. It felt great after but I was close to calling it quits mid session. I also accidentally showed up over an hour early, so I spent a a while just walking on the treadmill acting like I didn’t show up way too early...T-T. Tomorrow’s the rest day for my poor achy muscles. I’m gonna sleep so well tonight.
Today’s goals are to get through my Thursday classes and try and hit the gym if I’m up for it.

I'm switching to digital notes on an Ipad this semester. I'm still adjusting to using notability and the Apple Pen but it should help me cut down on the insane amount of paper I use up on notes. It'll also be easier to carry around all my notes, textbooks, slides, etc. on a tablet.
Currently, my classes are online for 3 weeks (may be extended) and as far as I know am only going to be on campus for midterms, finals, and labs.
Here's to a new academic year!

100 Days of Productivity Challenge Day 37/100
Good morning! My legs are so sore today. I probably shouldn’t have run the day after a spin class but oh well. I have yoga this afternoon so soreness shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Today’s gonna be a short day at the gym. I’m just gonna pop in for my yoga class then head home.
I really wanna have iced coffees but it’s way too cold for it. I could have one in the afternoon and a bath after to warm up but then I’d have to skip my morning coffee. I’m trying to limit myself to one cup of coffee a day so that my eyes don’t get too dry.
My lil kitties look as cute and precious as ever. They’re such good girls.
