Note
For the song lyric game;
A dull mind can't cut you
Sleeping dogs won't bite
Something creaking above you
In the attic at night
I drop everything and
I start wandering and
Spellbound I
Lose sight of the picture
Spinning wheel cries
For me to prick my finger
And character is; Prince Olympius
Title: Quite the Dark Horse Rating: T-M Characters: Prince Olympius; Ryan Mitchell; Diabolico; Kelsey Winslow; Lord Drakkon; etc. Relationships: Prince Olympius & Ryan Mitchell; Kelsey Winslow & Ryan Mitchell; Ryan Mitchel & TJ Johnson & Kai Chen & Aisha Campbell & Eugene Skullovitch; Prince Olympius & Marah & Kapri & Devin De Valle & Cassidy Cornell. Additional Tags: Found Family; Protective Ryan Mitchell; Demon Blood Infused Ryan Mitchell; Alternate Universe - World of the Coinless; Alternate Universe - Shattered Grid; Implied Assault/Sexual Assault; Unlikely Friendships. Summary: When Olympius was old enough to start walking around on his own instead of being carried around wrapped in his wings, Diabolico decided to entrust their future ruler in the hands of the not-quite-human that was no longer useful for the reasons he had been taken. The human that had been raised in the demon realm since he was the smallest of children, now with goat’s horns and talons and very little to look forward to. This did not exactly end how Diabolico would have thought, once they took over Mariner Bay and made an agreement with Lord Drakkon about an exchange program, of sorts; wherein some of his sentries and some of the demons would be trained for purpose if ever there were enemies come sniffing about once they heard about Rita Repulsa’s demise and wanted to try their own luck with Earth. Ryan knew he’d probably never see his sister again (still angry as he was that their father let him fall and only wanted to save her) but there was no reason he couldn’t do his best by the little Prince he was in charge of. There was no reason he could find to refuse help when some of the transfers offered up their assistance in any way they could for a demon toddler who couldn’t seem to stop getting out of the palace and irritating Drakkon. From showing him how to be gentle (he was forgetting) to putting themselves in harm’s way when older demons lost their temper. It wasn’t what he would have gotten, had things gone to plan, but it was...something. At least Olympius no longer chews on his fingers with so many needle teeth, and there’s someone else to pick up the sounds of little feet on less-than creaky floorboards. He doesn’t even mind how often Kelsey has laughed at him.

Something something about Worthikids song Spinning Wheel being about how people think that once your out of the worst of mental illness it’s smooth sailing from there but in that recovery phase you’re always at risk of slipping back into it
