Well, if there's anything the epilogue was about, it was about keeping hope in the darkest of times. So that's what I plan to do. Hope that this isn't the end, and that we'll see them again.

Usually if you just block the channel in question it stops recommending it. But blocktube also looks promising!

Yeah, that's what I tend to do, a healthy amount of "don't recommend this to me anymore" whenever I see channels like that.

Hello! I'm ALWAYS looking for more fic recs!! I've found my favorite type of fanfic is stories that aren't necessarily canon, but could be canon.

Post-Canon Bees Schnees looks great, that's definitely what I'm reading next.

I've read nirav's plaguemates, I'll have to take a look at their others.

I recognize lescousinsdangereux (long name!) from you're a mountain, full of glory. Though I must say after reading that description I have to second guess the T rating...

The_Valaxy's A Spark of Life was... really good, and I loved their RWBY Live Happily Ever After! (go pollination!!). The Maidens watch MasterChef sounds great, so that's definitely going on the "to-read" list!

I tend to shy away from smut, but Partners seems to be really well liked, so maybe I'll check it out.

I've read In this narrow cell. It was uh... Well, like the tags say, the smut got out of control fast.

As for pollination... I've read both Grounded Lighting (the quintessential pollination fic imo), and Linked in Life and Love.

Given that I'm planning on taking my own pollination fic on a slight detour for some bees schnees first, I need to get reading these!!!

Honestly? Probably nuts and dolts, because that would mean Penny was alive and I really miss her :(

Still hoping that the island is actually the afterlife and we get to see Penny there!!

But seriously, I like both, but I do think that Ruby has more canon chemistry with Penny.

Who is your ultimate OTP in RWBY?

This is genuinely a tough question and I am agonizing over it. It probably changes day-to-day, because there are tons of ships that I really do love.

I can easily name my OT4 (pollination) or OT3 (frosen steel), and whiterose is the overlap between the two, so you'd think whiterose but-

Right now I'm mostly thinking about ladybug and freezerburn, but thats probably because my new fic is both of those as the primary on the way to pollination (insert shameless plug for One Never Steps In The Same River Twice on ao3).

I also have a soft spot for Pfennig/Cold Steel (Winter x Penny), and Renora is amazing, I love both Ren and Nora so much. Their character arcs are perfect and watching them grow with each other is amazing. Their scenes in the manor in volume 8 was incredible and I cried watching it the first time (and every time since but thats not important I cry watching nearly every episode of RWBY) and Nora is the character that has grown on me the most since I started watching.

If I had to come out and choose... it's probably between Ladybug and Renora (which is ironic because I don't post much for either because I can't find quotes for them that I like!!).

Right now, I'd probably actually say Renora.

You are fans of RWBY no matter what volume it is, you are a sect that believes that all RWBY is good and wonderful and when someone differs and points out the bad, you simply block it so that your bubble does not burst.

I guess this is because I said I like volumes 4 and 5?

I really don't know how to respond to this like,,, yeah I am a fan of the show and therefore I think the show is good and wonderful like why is that a surprise? Isn't that a valid way to be a fan of anything?

I don't see you pointing out any bad things about the show for me to "simply block," (and if you were blocked you couldn't send me asks) and since this is coming from my v4/5 post, I'm guessing you didn't read it fully since I talk about how I thought the fight at Haven wasn't very good. (Love the rest of the volume though!)

You're welcome to point out the bad, but most of what you'll consider bad I probably won't. At the end of the day, I am a fan of the show, and I'm here because I like it. Don't really know what else to tell you :P

As for being a conformist, I don't see how providing my own analysis for why people disliked v4/5 makes me such. I don't tend to really post my opinions on the FNDM here, so it seems to me like you're making a bit of a reach and your real goal here is just to be rude. I mean, "we are not all as simple as you"? C'mon, that's just mean-spirited for the sake of it.
