i’m playing around with a concept for a monster!din fic, something like a Beauty and the Beast AU with creepy vibes and eventual smut, inspired by an amazing idea from @thepoisonofgod​ and our friendly neighborhood monster!din from @tuskens-mando​!

here’s a lil snippet:

Maybe if he eats enough ripe peaches, Din will be able to imagine the taste of your mouth. Spring, he thinks as he walks away, his hands fidgeting restlessly at his sides, two fingers tapping absently on his metal thigh guard. You must taste like spring: honey and tight pink flowerbuds and dewdrops. And if he pulled off his gloves, you’d feel warm under his hands, like sun-baked river rocks, and soft—fuck, yeah, definitely soft—like the brushed suede of new sage leaves. As delicate under his rough hands as freshly unfurled butterfly wings. Din scowls, and his hands curl into fists. All of these are breakable things. Good things. Corruptible things. Things he’d ruin. He’d strip the scales from your wings until you couldn’t fly. Even if he didn’t mean to, even if he tried to be gentle. He’s too brutal and hard for you—all beskar and blaster fire. He always has been. Even before he became… this.

Since my Cowboy Pedro photobashes gaining attention again in the wake of recently published interviews I felt appropriate to make a small disclaimer for the new followers I gained because of those, besides just saying "thank you"💜

Unfortunately, I won't be posting much of this kind of art in the foreseeable future for a number of reasons. While being a tedious type of work that requires a certain set of skills, editing doesn't improve me much as a visual artist and gets stolen infuriatingly too often. That's why I quit it several years ago.

However, if someone is adamant in their wish to see more of my edits and use them for projects, I am open to a few photobash and matte painting commissions for a market price. Each project can be discussed individually in DMs. Some examples of previous works can be found on my Redbubble and archived IG (thepoisonofgod).

Soft isn’t in ch11 but it is in my ch12 wip so major spoiler warning

Singing wasn’t one of his strong points, no matter how many times you told him he had a lovely voice, soft and dark and velvety.
