hello good human, I am here to talk about bench trio because I have a problem (/lh)
I am so unbelievable soft for this trio it’s unreal and for the past few hours the only thing I’ve been thinking about is tubbo and ranboo giving tommy soft affection (/p)
so, it’s the bench trio meet up, and they’re all hanging at tubbo’s house, planning to go off on some grand adventure for tommy’s vlog channel.
only thing is, tommy wakes up with a pounding headache and an itch in his throat. but, of course, mans is in denial and goes over to tubbo’s anyways.
and when he arrives both tubbo and ranboo immediately notice somethings off, and are just like, “nope, no way. not happening. you’re staying right here” but tommy’s stubborn and not having it, so of course he puts up a fight, but then he breaks into a harsh coughing fit and curls up into a ball. tubbo and ranboo are extremely concerned, and ranboo scoops tommy into his arms and carries him to tubbo’s room.
they find out that fatherinnit isn’t able to pick tommy up for a while, so they take care of him themselves. tommy feels like absolute shit for nothing them so much, but they comfort him and tell him they really don’t mind, and that it’s alright.
Ranboo goes into absolute mother hen mode and it practically cradling tommy the whole time, but tommy is touch starved is too tired to push him away, so Ranboo just holds him and gives him soft affection and reassurances as tubbo fusses around getting medicine and whatnot
also ranboo giving tommy belly rubs when he complains that it hurts, and tommy’s head just lolls back and he lets out super soft giggles
NO THOUGHTS ONLY THIS

Squeaky Clean (MCYT Tickle Fic Exchange)
word count: 2,315
prompt: “dsmp beeduo where they're trying to do chores around the house, but they keep just poking at each other and it turns into a tk fight :D”
this is my fic for @theraspberryler’s mcyt fic exchange! the person i got for the exchange was @sageinacage, and the prompt I went with was mentioned above! hope you like it, sage :)
warning: this is a sfw tickle fic! don’t read if that makes you uncomfortable :]
Tubbo was grateful that he and Ranboo had commissioned Foolish to build their mansion. He was a fantastic builder, and had created a beautiful home for the two of them in Snowchester. It had everything he wanted, but there was only one thing about it that he didn’t like.
Why did he have to make the place so damn big?
The two platonic husbands would find that the mansion had a lot of room, so because of that, it would take forever to get dirty enough so they would have to set aside time to have a cleaning day. However, when it did get dirty, it got dirty. Cobwebs were in the highest ceiling corners, dirt was scattered along the floors, and Ranboo and Tubbo knew they were in for it.
Unfortunately, today just so happened to be one of those days.
“Okay, here’s what I think we should do. We should dust off the chandelier first, because in case it falls and breaks, we’ll be able to clean up the shattered glass on the ground, and it would be annoying to do that if we had already sweeped the floor-”
“Uh, Tubbo, I- I don’t think we’re going to break the chandelier…”
“You never know! If Foolish had trouble with it, then we might too!”
“Well, yeah, but he had trouble building it.”
“Yeah, yeah.” Tubbo scoffed, the grin on his face showing that he wasn’t actually annoyed by the other’s comments. “Anyway, we should build our way up there and break down the towers afterwards. Next, we should sweep the floor, maybe mop it if it’s, like, really dirty. It’s going to take a while since this place is so freakin’ huge, but we’ll get it done!”
“I-” Ranboo paused, looking at the list of tasks that Tubbo was currently writing down. “...Are you sure we’re going to get all of this done in one day?” He questioned. “I mean, like you said, this place is very big.”
“Pfft, duh. It’s a mansion.” Tubbo said, seemingly unbothered by the grueling task ahead of the two of them. He grabbed a nearby extendable feather duster, twisting it around in his hands. In a moment of playfulness, he pressed the button that extended the duster outwards and brushed the feathery end across his face. Ranboo’s face scrunched up, giggles coming from the enderman as he stepped back.
“Tuhubbo!” He whined. Tubbo gasped, this newfound discovery exciting him.
“Awww, Ranboo! You have a ticklish face! How did I not discover this sooner?” He cooed, swiping the feathers across Ranboo’s face again. The other giggled, pushing the brush away. To retaliate, he grabbed his own feather duster from off of the table and extended it, using the rounded end with the handle to poke at Tubbo’s sides.
“HeHEY- quhuit it!” Tubbo snickered, stepping back. Ranboo chuckled, pressing a button to shorten his duster to its regular size.
“Alright, this is fun, but we should start cleaning before any more time goes by.” Ranboo nodded, starting to walk out of the room and into the foyer. Tubbo followed close behind him, walking up the stairs behind Ranboo. Once they got to the top, they both placed down trails of wooden planks that they would easily break down later.
“The chandelier doesn’t look too bad.” Ranboo said as he pressed the button to extend his duster.
“Mhm.” Tubbo quietly agreed, doing the same. He smiled to himself, thinking about the reaction from earlier. He looked at the rounded end of the duster, an idea forming in his head.
Ranboo, on the other hand, was trying to stay focused. He knew how long it would take to clean just the first floor alone, so he wanted to get it done as quickly as he could. However, the sudden prods to his side were making that task difficult.
“Ranboo…” Tubbo sang, finding amusement in watching his platonic husband try to bat the duster away.
“Tubbo, dohon’t.” He tried to act stern, but couldn’t fight back a small grin.
“Ranboo, pay attention to me!” Tubbo whined playfully. “Stop paying attention to that dusty, old chandelier.”
“The reason that it’s dusty is because you’re distracting me from cleaning it!”
The ram hybrid poked around at Ranboo’s side as he tried to clean with one hand and swat the handle of the duster away with the other. It wasn’t until a poke towards his ribs made him squeak, and he snapped his head towards his platonic husband.
“If you poke me one more time, you are so in for it.”
The two friends stared each other down. Tubbo contemplated the possible negatives in his head, but quickly realized that, being 100% honest, there were none.
So, he poked Ranboo again.
And then immediately started running.
Ranboo scoffed, a grin on his face. “Oh, you are so dead!” He retracted his duster, then quickly turned to run after him. Tubbo giggled as he led Ranboo through the house, running down corridors and trying to throw Ranboo off, but the other was on his tail the whole time, not that far behind.
“Get back here!” Ranboo yelled as he ran.
“In your dreams!” Tubbo suddenly turned around, holding his duster in front of him like a sword. Ranboo didn’t hesitate to extend his own, stopping in front of Tubbo and holding it firm.
“Ranboo, you’re about to pick a fight that you won’t want to lose.” Tubbo smirked, swinging the duster in front of him, only for Ranboo to block the hit with his own.
“A fight? It’s not going to be a fight when you’re wiggling around on the floor and squealing.” The enderman sassed back, walking towards Tubbo menacingly. Tubbo stepped back, but felt his heart skip a beat when he felt his back up against the wall. He had reached a dead end.
“Not so confident now, hm?” Ranboo asked when he saw a smirk drain from his face. He dropped his duster, wiggling his fingers at Tubbo and closing in slowly. Tubbo giggled nervously before making a move and dropping his own duster onto the floor, then lunging forward and tackling Ranboo to the ground.
“Two can play at that game!” He smirked, drilling fingers into Ranboo’s armpits. The other let out a surprised yell as he fell to the floor.
“Tuhuhubboho, nohoho!” He giggled, thrashing from side to side.
“What? You thought I was just going to let you wreck me? Think again, bossman!” Tubbo grinned, moving down to the top of Ranboo’s ribs. He let out a shriek, his thrashing increasing.
“NohohOHO- TuhuHUBBO! Gehehet ohOHouHut of theHEHerehe!” Ranboo commanded, his laughter now louder than it was a moment ago. Tubbo disobeyed, digging fingers in-between the top ribs. He watched as his platonic husband laughed and held onto his wrists, but was distracted by a small blur of black and white fluff swishing back and forth behind him.
“Awwww, your tail is wagging!” He cooed.
“YehehEHAhah, thahat’s a thihing ihihit doHOHoehes!” Ranboo said sarcastically, before an idea popped into his head. “Buhut yohou knohow whahat ehelse my tahail cahan do? THIHIS!”
Tubbo couldn’t tell you what happened. One moment, he was tickling Ranboo and relishing in his laughter. The next moment, he was the one doing the laughing.
“NononONONOHOHO!! Gehehet ihihit ohoHOUT!” Tubbo squealed when he felt something fluffy sneak underneath his shirt, and quickly got off of him to escape. Ranboo, however, wasn’t having it, and crawled on top of Tubbo just as fast.
“I’m a man of my word, aren’t I? I told you that you were in for it!” Ranboo smirked, now having the upper hand. “The end of my tail is quite fluffy, and I don’t understand what’s so funny about that. But hey, it makes you laugh, and I love hearing you laugh, Tubbo!” He squeezed up and down Tubbo’s sides, his squirming and laughter quickly escalating.
“KnOHOhock ihihit ohOHOFF!!” Tubbo squealed, trying to push Ranboo’s hands away. The side squeezes combined with the fluffy tail swiping across his tummy was more unbearable than he ever imagined. He had to think fast if he wanted the upper hand again. And think fast he did. With quick thinking, Tubbo felt around on the floor until he felt the handle of his duster, then grabbed it and started to swish it across Ranboo’s face. Whenever he tried to move his face away, Tubbo would simply move the feathers along with it.
Eventually, Ranboo cracked a little bit, and Tubbo grinned widely. “Yohou thihink you’re so sneaky, huh?” He asked with a giggle.
“Yehep!” Tubbo continued to swipe the feathers across the face of the giggling enderman, hoping his idea would work. It was hard to focus with the side squeezes and swishing tail, but after persisting, Ranboo stopped squeezing with one hand to try and push the duster away. Tubbo took it as his chance to strike, grabbing the other’s wrists and pulling him to the ground. He sat up, swaying the duster along Ranboo’s face.
“I can’t believe how I never discovered this sooner, Ranboo! Your face is ticklish, that’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!” He complimented, slipping his free hand under Ranboo’s shirt and softly scribbling along his stomach to keep him on the ground.
“Shuhut uhuhup!” Ranboo sucked his stomach inwards, trying to squirm away.
“Shut up?! Why, I outta-” Tubbo paused, an evil plan forming in his head. He stopped the tickles and let go of the duster to unbutton the bottom buttons of Ranboo’s shirt. Anticipatory giggles came out of Ranboo’s mouth as Tubbo positioned both of his hands over his head, holding them there with one hand.
“Now, Ranboo.” Tubbo, sitting next to Ranboo’s head, picked the feather duster back up, holding down the button so that it would extend a little bit. “I know swiping these feathers across your face makes you giggle uncontrollably. Although, it got me thinking. Is there anywhere else I can use that on his body that makes him laugh like that? Well, there’s only one way to find out, bossman!” He grinned, reaching the duster outwards so it hovered inches above Ranboo’s exposed stomach, then lowered it and did small, rapid swipes across. You could only imagine how wide the smile on Tubbo’s face was when Ranboo instantly broke.
“PFFFT- ahaHaHAHA!! Tuhuhubboho, nohoho! Thahat’s so baHAHAD!!” Ranboo squirmed back and forth, kicking his legs and sucking his stomach in.
“Bad? I’m sure you mean good, your tail is wagging again.” Tubbo giggled as his friend blushed. “Awww, does someone have a little ticklish tummy? Now that’s adorable.”
“Yohou’re ohohone to taHAHALK!” Ranboo snapped back as a squeak flew out of his mouth before he could stop it.
It was now Tubbo’s turn to blush. “Hey! Watch it, pal.” As an act of “revenge” for the tease, he swiped the duster across his stomach more rapidly, the ticklish sensation increasing.
“NOHOHOHOOO! TuhUHUBbohO!” He laughed, legs thumping on the floor.
“Feeling a little giggly, my beloved?” Tubbo asked, knowing the answer already. His heart melted when he realized that Ranboo was laughing too hard to give a proper, verbal answer. He let go of his hands and slowed down the movements of the duster until they came to a stop, then lightly traced a finger around his ear. “I still need an answer. How are you feeling, Giggleboo?”
“Oh jeheheheez…” Ranboo giggled, his shoulders scrunching up. “Thahat wahas soho mehean.”
“You loved it.” The other smiled, letting Ranboo sit up and button the buttons that came undone. “You wanna get back to cleaning?”
“Hmm… not yet.” Ranboo tackled Tubbo to the floor before he could react, lifting his shirt up. He ducked his head down and blew a raspberry in the center of Tubbo’s stomach, making the boy shriek.
“NOHOHO- RAHAHABOHOHOO!!” Tubbo kicked his legs, throwing his head back and lightly hitting at Ranboo’s head.
“Awww, does the founder of Snowchester have a ticklish tummy?” Ranboo repeated Tubbo’s tease from minutes earlier, squeezing up and down his thighs.
“I DOHOHON’T!!!”
“You don’t?! Now that’s a big lie. Here, let me show you!”
While squeezing Tubbo’s thighs, Ranboo ducked down and blew another raspberry. And another. And another. And another. He did as many as he could, watching his friend cackle hysterically.
“OHOHOKAHAY, OHOKAHAY, YOHOHOU WIHIHIN!! PLEHEHEASE, I CAHAHAN’T TAHAKE IHIT!!” Tubbo pleaded, his laugh starting to be filled with hiccups. Ranboo quickly stopped, rubbing leftover tingles off of his stomach with his hand.
“Works every time.” Ranboo chuckled.
“You’re so mehehean.” The short boy giggled. “I did nothing to you compared to that!”
“Nothing?! You saw how hard I was laughing and thought that was nothing?!” Ranboo couldn’t help but laugh, amused.
“Yeah! I only just used the feather duster and you were in hysterics.”
“Hey, watch that teasing mouth of yours, mister.” Ranboo quickly skittering his fingers across Tubbo’s stomach, smiling as he curled into himself and high-pitched giggles came out of his mouth.
“Now come on. I’ll have plenty of time to wreck you after we clean this house.” He chuckled again, helping Tubbo off of the ground.
“I think what you mean is that I’ll have plenty of time to wreck you.” Tubbo disagreed.
“Oh, stop it.” The taller rolled his eyes, grabbing both of the dropped dusters from off of the ground.
And from then on, the two of them cleaned the house. They couldn’t get the full thing done in one day, but they made pretty good progress. They would just have to finish the rest tomorrow. And as they cleaned all day, both of them were 100% focused on the task at hand.
Well, more like 75% focused. The leftover 25% was from the two of them deciding that they didn’t need to wait until the house was clean to get each other back… but that’s another story for another day.

theraspberryler's mcyt tickle fic exchange
I got @ghostleetickles I hope you like it :D
Prompt I chose: https://youtu.be/_Uzmyx7XS9s - video it’s referring to. DREAM AND SAPNAP TURN ON THE PLUG-IN AND THEY ARE DOING A BUNCH OF THINGS LIKE HITTING STUFF, FALLING AND OVER ALL BEING STUPID JUST TO TEST IT OUT. (Let’s say it’s more then just damage, they can feel every touch as well) AND THEY START THE GAME AND WHEN THEY GO INTO THE NETHER THEY ENCOUNTER WITHER SKELLIE BOIS AND (running with my past HCs abt wither skellies tickling players) Sapnap gets caught by one and Dream is rushing to help him and the skeleton starts tickling Sapnap and he watches Dream also just completely collapse on the floor into a fit of giggles. Sapnap then realizes that tickling also transfers to the other player and now they are both just stuck like that until the skeleton has had enough.
"Ready Sap?" Dream’s voice immediately caught Sapnap's attention as he nodded excitedly.
"Ok, let's test is before we make it a video, we beat the whole game today ok?"
"Yeah yeah sure whatever."
"Sapnap."
"I heard you bro, we got this, we have a little time to mess around first." A few clicks later and Dream announces that the mod is active and asks him to try it. Sapnap instantly pulls some dirt blocks out of his inventory and builds up four before jumping to the ground, wincing and the pain that shot through his legs.
"Ahh! Fuck! OK it works." Dream gasps for air, the shock of how bad it hurt knocked the wind out of him. He rubs his legs even though the pain wasn't actually his.
"Walk it off you big green baby, let's beat the game." Dream lightheartedly glared at his best friend before shoving a handful of sand down his shirt. Dream's back suddenly arched at what felt like something itchy running down his back.
"What are you doing Dream?" Sapnap asked confused as he shakes the sand out of his shirt.
"Huh, I guess I can feel everything you feel. I felt the sand as well." Sapnap, out of curiosity, roughly poked Dream’s shoulder blade. His shoulder reflexively jolting forward as he felt the jab on himself.
"Well this should be interesting." After lots of pain, dying, and yelling later, they finally found the nether fortress. They has both set their spawn point on the bed next to the portal.
"Be careful and don't wonder to far away from me."
"Yes mom~"
"I'm serious Sapnap, we need to be able to save each other because if one becomes incapacitated so does the other, so stay close." Sapnap wouldn’t be lying if he said he was a little annoyed at how careful Dream was making him be but he was about to find out why.
"God, where are all the blaze spawners?" Dream turns around, ready to lecture Sapnap about being patient when he notices a wither skeleton sneaking up on him.
"SAPNAP!" Before he could react he felt two skinny arms around his waist, lifting him off the ground. When he looked down and saw that the arms were black, panic began to set in and started to thrash, kick and scream.
"DREAM HELP!" He could see Dream pull out his sword and make a run for them, he knew he didn't use his bow in fear of hitting him by accident. The wither skeleton back up a few steps before wiggling its boney fingers into his sides.
"Whahahat thehe hehehehell?!" Sapnap instantly burst into giggles, his legs instinctively stopped kicking and came up to his chest. He watched as Dream’s eyes widened in shock and confusion before his sword clattered to the ground. His arms wrapped around his middle as he collapsed to his knees, giggling hysterically. Sapnap began to worry, Dream was twice if not three times more ticklish than he was, he knew he was screwed, there was no way Dream would be able to fight the sensations long enough to save him. They were stuck.
"Whyhyhy ihihihihihis ihihit dohohohoing thahahat?!" Dream’s giggles were becoming increasingly more frantic, the longer the sensation lasted. Both boy's giggles turned to gentle laughter when the fingers moved up to Sapnap’s ribs. Dream’s arms pressed tighter to his body, trying to lesson the feeling.
"Ihihi Dohohohon’t knohohow!" He noticed Dream becoming more panicked when he realized the skeleton was slowly approaching one of his bad spots. He tried his best to push the hands down and away from the upper ribs but it pushed past his defenses with ease and quickly vibrated its thin fingers into both sides of his highest ribs. Sapnap's laughter was still slightly calm yet high pitched and full of squeaks and little yelps, whereas Dream was now rolling on the floor cackling. His feet kicked helplessly as he slapped the floor with his hands.
"SAHAHAHAHAPNAHAHAHAP! DOHOHOHO SOHOHOHOMETHIHIHING!"
"IHihihi'm tryihihng!" He wasn’t lying, he has been trying to push and pry the skeleton's hands off him since the beginning, but it was way to strong for him. Sapnap began to thrash when it moved one hand to rapidly squeeze at his thigh, a death spot shared by Dream and Sapnap. Both their loud cackles echoed through the fortress.
"MAHAHAHAKE IHIHIHIHIT STOHOHOHOP!"
"IHIHIHIHI CAHAHAN’T!" The skeleton decides to add Sapnap's second death spot to make it fair and lightly nibble at his neck. Sapnap shrieks at the top of his lungs but he can't thrash anymore, neither can Dream, both were so tired that all they could do was sit there and take it. Their cackles turned wheezy and silent at parts when suddenly Sapnap was dropped to the floor. Both males immediately gasped for air as the wither skeleton wandered away. Sapnap slowly crawled over to Dream and touched his shoulder but pulled away when he flinches.
Tumblr media
"Its just me, let's get out of here and sleep, I don't wanna risk either of us getting a round two." Dream nodded, barely able to speak, he let Sapnap sling his arm over his shoulder and haul him up, practically dragging him back through the nether portal to his bed. The two passed out almost immediately, thinking about how they have to get blaze rods and avoid getting absolutely wrecked at the same time.

Laugh Through the Storm (fic exchange)
Helloooo! This is my submission for the fic exchange being run by @theraspberryler . I wrote for @tricks-tickles who requested a cute prompt: “lee!techno and ler!ranboo, in the dsmp, techno is stressed and upset and ranboo offers to comfort him which leads him to finding out techno is ticklish and soft tickles ensue.”
Soft tickles are my cryptonite this was fun to write! Also, this is my first time writing Techno as kind of soft so if it’s a little ooc I apologize but I think I did a good job. This is PLATONIC just in case anyone thinks otherwise. Also CW there is mentions of anxiety but other than that it’s all fluff.
I hope you enjoy tricks-tickles!!!!
words: 2.3k
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Techno considered himself to be a more chill person. Anyone who knew him knew just how laid back he usually was. He never looked worried, never seemed stressed, and always took things in stride. However, much of this was only an act he put on to hide the fact of how truly stressed he really was most of the time. He just never wanted to be more of a burden than he already probably was. Being considered a terrorist, and having so many people wanting him dead wasn’t exactly the most stress free way to live.
The only person that really knew about this other than himself was philza, who was always really good at being able to keep him calm. But right now, philza was not around. It’s not like techno could control when philza was around, and he had no right to keep him from living his own life, but he really needed him right now. His anxiety was getting the best of him, and he wasn’t sure how to talk himself down. The only person around right now was their neighbor, Ranboo, who had only recently come out of his shell just a little bit. There was no way Tayler would be able to ask him to help him out. But sadly, he just couldn’t handle being alone anymore, and he trudged his way through the snow over to the kid’s little shack.
He knocked on the door, perking his ears a little to hear the shuffling inside; It was clear he didn’t get company very often. The door creaked open slowly, revealing half of the enderman-hybrid peering through the opening. He towered over the older man, his head barely being seen over the top of the doorway, “Can I help you?” Came the low voice, seemingly weary.
“Hey Ranboo, it’s good to see you,” Techno smiled, hoping his somewhat friendly attitude may ease the other’s nerves a little bit. Unfortunately, Techno’s abnormally cheerful greeting did nothing but make Ranboo more suspicious as to why the pig hybrid was visiting him, “There’s supposed to be a blizzard tonight, so I was gonna offer if you’d like to stay over at me and Phil’s place tonight. It’s safer to be with a group during storms…” Techno trailed off a little at the end, hoping Ranboo couldn’t see through to the fact that he really just needed someone around him at the moment.
Ranboo was quiet in thought for a moment, but it wasn’t too long until he nodded, “Lemme grab some stuff and I’ll be there in a bit, okay?” Techno nodded and turned on his heel to trek back up to his house. Just as promised, it was only a few minutes after he got back to his house that he heard Ranboo open the door. After a small greeting, the two relaxed in the main room in silence as the sun began to set outside and the storm clouds rolled in.
Now, contrary to popular belief, even though he seemed quiet and awkward, Ranboo was actually an incredibly observant person. In fact, he had noticed something was bothering Techno from the moment he had knocked on his door. Techno wasn’t the type to initiate social situations unless Phil was the one to force him. But with Philza not even around, Ranboo could only assume something wasn’t right.
“Are you okay?” The question filled the empty silence, causing Techno to tense at the suddenness of it. Ranboo’s voice was firm as he spoke, the question holding strong in the air, “you know I don’t mind if you talk to me,” Ranboo knew Techno wasn’t the type to open up to people, so he didn’t exactly expect very much from him, if anything at all.
However, Techno sighed instead, crossing his arms across his chest in defense as he sat on his side of the couch, “Mmh. ‘s nothing really, just don’t like to be alone.” he mumbled, not looking at the enderman sitting not far from him.
In response, Ranboo scooted closer, now sitting next to him on the sofa, “I’m sorry Phil’s not here,” He tried his best to comfort his neighbor, feeling the awkwardness of the situation pool in his chest, “is..there anything Phil normally does to help you out?” he offered, sighing in relief when Techno finally looked at him, seeming more open to talk more than before.
“Well… Phil tends to help me out a lot with my anxiety with physical touch…” Techno continued to mumble slightly as he spoke. Ranboo was completely taken aback by just how open Techno was being with him at the moment. He supposed Techno must have been desperate at that point, “touch is normally the best way to keep me grounded,” he explained a little more, and Ranboo nodded in understanding.
“Would you like me to do that?” Ranboo asked. The storm outside was beginning, causing harsh wind to be blown against the windows; Techno tensed a little at the sound. He then nodded, not without feeling incredibly stupid and vulnerable. He rarely ever showed this side of himself to anyone, and he hoped this wouldn’t just make his anxiety worse. However, the feeling of someone wrapping their arms around his shoulders brought him out of his thoughts. Ranboo had pulled the older man into a hug, one that Techno currently wasn’t returning but he really didn’t need to. One of Ranboo’s hands slowly began to rub up and down the small of his back, causing Techno to melt in his arms.
Ranboo could feel the amount of tension that was leaving Techno’s body, and he began to feel bad as it became obvious just how stressed he really was, “Is this okay?” he checked in, pleased as he felt Techno nod against his shoulder. The pig’s own hands rested limp in his lap. He wasn’t saying a word, Ranboo supposed it was because he felt a bit awkward, so neither of them minded as they fell into a comfortable silence.
Suddenly however, the peace was broken when Techno jumped, startling Ranboo in the process. He released Techno from his hold and saw his friend’s disappointed look, but said nothing of it, “Are you okay? I didn’t hurt you did I?”
Techno shook his head no, “It's fine really. You can keep going if you would like to,” Techno didn’t want to force him to keep going, but the hug really had helped him calm down. He hadn’t even noticed the creaking of the cottage from the blizzard outside which during normal circumstances would only add to his anxiety.
Ranboo hesitantly brought techno back into his arms, holding him a little closer than before, both of them enjoying the warmth away from the chill of the storm. His hands began to move again, and once his nail reached up near Techno’s shoulder blades, the man jumped again. Ranboo apologised, but then continued to run his fingers down his spine, an idea of what was happening coming together in his head. He let Techno relax again for maybe a minute before bringing his hand back up again to his shoulders. Techno tensed, arching into Ranboo’s hold slightly, his breath hitching and catching in his throat.
“R- Ranboo,''came a strangled voice near the teen’s ear, and he smiled. He hummed in response to his name and continued tracing his nails lightly in the same spot, even though Techno physically couldn’t arch any more forward, “th- that tihickles a little,” he said, although somehow he couldn’t help but melt even more due to the feeling.
Ranboo giggled at the predicament, running his hands back down Techno’s back again, feeling Techno go back to his relaxed state. This only lasted a second however as Ranboo used both his hands to now scratch at the backs of Techno’s sides. The light undershirt that he was only wearing did nothing to muffle the feeling.
Not expecting the sudden attack, Techno barked out a laugh, muffling it quickly into Ranboo’s shoulder. Since the pig hybrid didn’t seem to give any sort of exclamation or hint that he wanted it to stop, Ranboo continued his light scratching. The teen backed away slightly, instead of wrapping his arms around the other, and lightly kept his hands on the pig’s waist. Techno kept his head resting on Ranboo’s shoulder, too embarrassed to show his face, and Ranboo wasn’t going to force him to. Before he began again, a deep voice could be heard next to his ear, “just stop when I say so okay?” Techno’s voice was hesitant, but Ranboo could hear the smile behind it.
“I’ll stop immediately once you want me too,” Ranboo reassured. With boundaries set in place, the fingers resting on Techno’s sides began to move again, and this time he didn’t hold back the giggles that began to bubble out of his chest. They were much softer than Ranboo had expected. Come to think of it, Ranboo wasn’t sure he had ever heard Techno laugh before, but he definitely knew he liked it.
“You should really laugh more, I think,” Ranboo thought out loud. He felt Techno shake his head against his shoulder, and could only imagine that his comment must have made him blush. His fingers continued to spider all along his sides, scratching along the tops of his hips as well.
“Theheher’s nehever anythihing tohoho laugh ahahat,” Techno explained as best he could, his giggling picking up a bit more as he felt Ranboo’s nails trail just a bit too close to his ribs, and he arched a little as a warning. He could feel how hot his face was, and he couldn’t imagine just how red it must be right now.
Getting just a tiny bit bored, Ranboo suddenly pinched Techno’s lower set of ribs, causing the older man to nearly jump out of his own skin. His giggles grew into light laughter now, and he twitched from side to side. Ranboo laughed along with his neighbor, finding his reactions amusing, “This must be a bad spot, huh?” he commented, to Techno’s embarrassment. Ranboo continued to pinch up and down his ribs, the action causing his entire rib cage to feel like it was on fire with ticklish agony. He patted against Ranboo’s back lightly, “SLOHOhow dohohohoHOHOWN!” Techno begged, beginning to feel tears prick the edges of his eyes. He couldn’t lie to himself, he really enjoyed this feeling, but right now it was just a bit too much to handle.
“Oops, sorry Techno,” Ranboo gave an apology with a small embarrassed laugh and toned himself down a little, going back to raking his nails down both sides of Techno’s ribs. At the softened touch, he felt a shiver run down his spine and he melted back into Ranboo’s arms. It tickled so bad, but at the same time it was really nice, and the conflicting feeling made soft giggling whines emanate from Techno’s throat making Ranboo laugh again, “you okay for me to keep going?” he asked.
“Juhuhust aha bihihit lohohonger,” Techno replied, the constant raking of nails up and down his ribs beginning to drive him mad. He didn’t need to dwell on that spot for long though, since at Techno’s answer, Ranboo slipped his hands underneath his shirt and wiggled his fingers lightly against his bare sides. “WhahAHAhaha-” This was so much worse than over his undershirt. Even though the tickles were still soft, his skin twitched underneath Ranboo’s fingers. Techno now curled a bit in on himself, bending down slightly as though he wanted to get into a ball. Laughter continued to pour out of his mouth, Ranboo keeping him guessing by making his fingers move fast, then slow, and then fast again; all up and down his sides wherever he could reach.
Techno relished in the feeling as he completely lost track of the passage of time. It could have been hours, or maybe it had only been a minute, but all he could focus on was the heavenly yet hellish feeling of fireworks running up and down his torso. Just as he thought he couldn’t take any more, he heard a shallow intake of breath next to his ear, and then Ranboo blew tiny raspberries behind it and all across his neck. His laughter became high pitched and squeaky, and once again tears began to form in his eyes, but he couldn’t care.
Even though he didn’t once ask for it to stop, Ranboo slowed his fingers and gave Techno a break from his onslaught of raspberries. Techno’s laughter died back down but he didn’t stop giggling. Ranboo retracted his hands from his sides but he could still feel the ghostly tingles through his torso and vibrating lips behind his ear. His brain was completely numb, completely drunk on tickles. He was brought back down to earth at the sound of Ranboo’s voice.
“Ready to settle down for the night? I hope I was able to help out well, I know I’m not Phil,” Techno nodded sluggishly. His giggling had finally stopped and all that was left was a happy smile, one that Ranboo, or anyone for that matter, rarely got to see. Rather than move to the bedroom and guest room, the two of them fell asleep in each other's arms. It was the best that either of them had slept in a long time.
Phil was home many hours later in the dead of night. He smiled at the sight before him as he set his mining tools by the door. He was glad Techno had finally found someone he was willing to trust again. Techno woke up the next morning squished between both Ranboo and Philza, and he knew he wouldn’t rather be anywhere else in the world at that moment.
ayup
just saw your post from yesterday about writing fics, and I just wanna say that you should totally do what you feel is best for you, and there would be absolutely no hard feelings from any of us if you did decide to go and delete what you have in your ask box. it’s important that you prioritize yourself and what makes you happy, I know from experience that it’s no good to just sit and watch as everything grows and the stress just piles on.
I love you /p, and I hope that everything, writing related and otherwise, goes well for you! 💛
AHH thank you so much!! :D this feels really good to hear! /gen
i decided to keep my inbox but just remove the writing queue since that was the key piece that stressed me out, so i can do things it whatever order i'd like :D
