every so often I think of how this one person i know said Edelgard was the least interesting lord, as if she didn’t have both the crest of Seiros and the crest of Nemesis in her; as if she isn’t a direct parallel/foil to like 3 separate characters (Byleth, Seiros, Dimitri); as if she didn’t have the unwavering drive to abolish an oppressive system; as if she wasn’t working with the people who abused her and playing them at the same time; as if her having inaccurate information doesn’t contribute to the game’s theme of perspective and finding the truth in a series of partial-truths; as if her goals aren’t achieved on a partial level throughout each route; as if she doesn’t learn from her friends that their perspectives will make her world the place she needs it to be; as if she doesn’t believe that despite the net good her acts will do, she cannot paint herself as a hero; as if she isn’t essentially a lonely, hurt person at the end of the day -
interest is subjective but Edelgard is the entire fucking game

❝ Deep in my heart I know I am a loner. I have tried to blend in with the world and be sociable, but the more people I meet the more disappointed I am. So, I’ve learned to enjoy myself, my family, and a few good friends.❞

GET TO KNOW ME ♡ TV Shows [3/5] ☆ One Tree Hill (2003 - 2012) → At this moment there are 6,470,818,671 people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men, at war with good. And some are good, struggling with evil. Six billion people in the world. Six billion souls. And sometimes -- all you need is one.

You can call it a part 2 of this
Y/n: *practicing in front of a mirror* Okay, here I go. *taking a deep breath*
Y/n: Loki, I admire your motivation to con...quer the world? What the fuck, y/n? You're an avenger, you can't say that to him. Good job in killing people, 100% would recommend you to Association of Mass Murderers.
Y/n: Maybe this one... Your eyes are the definition of... Someone stab me, please. I can't do this. *slapping their forehead* Uh...
Y/n: Your ass looking good.
Loki: *passing by* Oh yeah, it does.
Y/n: ...
Y/n: *speechless*
F.R.I.D.A.Y.: I guess no one can close their door in this fucking compound.

There is enough courage inside your heart, that you can stand up to anyone. There is enough willpower inside your soul, that nothing can break you. You may be tired, but you are not weak. Don't be scared of what tomorrow is going to offer. If there is any justice in this world, good people will do their best to help you. You'll find answers to all questions. You'll find a way out of all troubles. Good things will come to you. Better things than you even hoped.

How can I get over my victim mentality and inferiority complex?
get offline, look for the good in the world, get offline, be grateful for what you have, stop comparing yourself to others, get offline, and get offline :)
most people these days who always feel like a victim and always feel below others developed that thought process bc of their excessive time online where that rhetoric is sold like diamonds.
outside of that, I'd encourage you to really have a gratitude session every day, whether that be in a journal, in the mirror, or just thinking it to yourself. this will remind you of how nice your life is and how good you should feel about yourself even if things aren't picture perfect. you should also develop some cool hobbies and skills that make you feel accomplished in your abilities.

i watched this movie a while back i think it was called yesterday and basically theres this worldwide blackout that erases the beatles from history except this one dude got hit by a bus at the exact moment the blackout happened and because he was off the ground he remembers the beatles and he like. is a singer so he like. goes out and gets famous by playing off all the beatles songs as his own
and its a shitty movie and i wish i hadnt watched it bc it just wasnt that good and now i know a few beatles songs which is something i fcking hate. but the real kicker is that the blackout is literally never explained. it wasnt just the beatles, multiple things were erased like cigarettes and coca cola. its not that they were erased from peoples memories theres no trace of them at all. so this whole shitty movie all im thinking of is what happened to all the fucking cans of coke in this world
the only good part about it is harry potter was erased too

Reasons I Love Daisy & Flint
I so wanted Flint and Daisy to have a scene together. They have so much in common. They grew up orphans in a shitty situation and didn't know their birth parents. They can be reckless and self sacrificial. They're afraid of other people getting hurt because of them. They try so hard to protect people and use their powers for good.
Their powers are such beautiful parallels. Daisy's can destroy monoliths and Flint's can build them. Daisy's (with some help) can crack the world apart and Flint's can put it back together. Their powers also seem to operate in a similar way, by being able to sense some aspect of their environment, which doesn't seem to be true for all Inhumans.
Mack calls Flint-with the power to build worlds and time machines- Pebbles. He calls Daisy- with the power to destroy anything in her path- Tremors. Mack sees them both and is just like, well, I guess I'm following this kid around now to stop them from getting themselves killed.
And the one half second that they did have screen time together was precious. "So, rocks huh? That's cool."

At the end of the series, I realised how much Centaurworld is traumatised and tries to think of something else than a creature of doom still alive not far from their world. The cats, the attraction park, Wammawink's dome... Now Water Baby's decision finally makes sense.
So, both Horse's world (physically) and Centaurworld (mentally) are ravaged.
I'm also thinking a lot about everyone's war potential. I have high hopes in Glendale's statues throwing skill.
Yea, that's a really good assessment of it. Merguy setting up an empty amusement park to offer people something, anything, else to do except commit whale suicide is...particularly chilling. For the residents of this world who feel hopeless, and for the whale shaman who sees so many people in agony that she thinks her mercy "killings" are justified and all she has to offer them. Also at the end when Wammawink considers putting up her dome again and is asked "can all the friends we made along the way fit under it" or something like that. And she pauses and realizes no, they can't. She can't put a shield over the whole world, and she can't ignore the world in favor of just her herd anymore. Really heavy stuff.
And yes, we all know Glendale is most likely to kill (if she hasn't already) lol. I can only imagine the weapons she has stored away in her tummy portal.

Mob Mentality scary in MDZS. I don't know the psychology behind these acts but I think cultivators when in a crowd can't help but listen always with the majority. I don't know if the cultivators are again capable to do the despicable acts themselves or only in a crowd? Do they feel guilty there capable of such acts or do they try to find justification that what they did is right. I'm pretty normal but I just can't imagine myself turning such a monster all because of a gathering in a crowd.
Hey nonny, unfortunately, mob mentality has caused a lot of suffering and death throughout human existence. When human beings get into a state of hatred and frenzy, they're capable of doing anything.
We see a version of it even today. I think a good example is how social media bullying pushed a celebrity to suicide a few years ago.
Sometimes things are just that shitty. We all want the world to be good, kind, and just. For the most part, people are good. But examples of mob mentality are everywhere, even in the modern world. That's why MXTX so strongly condemns it in the novel and showcases the consequences clearly.

Just finished wilbur's stream and I think I understand c!wilbur a little better now. I don't think he's some master manipulator or heartless monster. I think he does want to make friends and have people like him for him. Yes he lies to people, but everyone does that so if your using that as proof that he's evil then literally everyone on the smp would be evil.
Also it seems he genuinely wants his impact on the world to be seen as good. He seemed so happy when tubbo said they continued lamanburg after he died. It really upsets him that tommy looks at him the way he did back in pogtopia and he is so happy ranboo is just giving him a chance. /Rp
Also on another note, Ranboo and Wilbur content is now one of my favorite things.

Jiangs hurt JC (and it's especially JYL fault) by fussing over him so much. He was growing up as pompous brat who never had to work for a single thing in his life and automatically assumed he is owed everything because he exists. I'm sure as a teenager it was great but now he is 30 year old grown man and he still hasn't gotten memo: " Hello! World does not revolve around you!"
JC is the epitome of the spoiled rich boy who's been taught that the world revolves around him and never has to learn the truth. It's actually almost impressive; JC manages to get through a fucking war without learning that the world doesn't revolve around him! How do you even manage that! We know it's possible for sect heirs to grow up to be genuinely good and caring people because there's... y'know, every other great sect heir in the story. But nope, JC a) probably wouldn't have been as good a person as the other sect heirs anyway, and b) he was all but encouraged to abuse his authority from childhood. Hell, arguably he was actively encouraged, seeing as he kept benefiting from doing so. And benefiting thanks to people who knew exactly what JC was doing, too!

Jungle Cruise is an awesome movie, but I can see why people may not like it. The humor, specifically, stands out to me as “hit or miss,” but not in the context of the movie, in context of the audience.
While the characters and plot are original for the movie, most of the horrible pun jokes told by Frank are lifted right from the Disneyland and Disney World attractions. And while they’re hilarious in the context of the ride, and fantastic in the movie as references to the ride, those who don’t know “oh its a ride reference” will probably just find it groanfully unfunny.
I know I was laughing at all the jokes, not because they were really funny, but because they were references to one of my favorite rides. Most of the theater was dead silent, though, despite having a good handful of other people there with us. Too much of the humor relied on ride references, and it wasn’t enough for most of the audience. Only a few of us understood the humor was in the ride reference, but without the knowledge of a ride reference, too many of the jokes were just bad or unfunny puns that fell flat.
This movie was definitely written to cater to the theme park fans, it feels like, and that’s both the reason that I loved it so much and it’s greatest weakness in appealing to the general audience.

that person just posted a apology. it looks and sounds...very authentic.
I’m not in the mood to be understanding right now.
Dark skinned black babies are always deemed as undesirable and not cute and they’re going to grow up in a world where their skin color is viewed as “ugly”.
I’m allowed to be hypersensitive and pissed when people don’t think before they make some insensitive comment like that, despite their good intentions.
