💙 FIRST MEETING ;

You were not the kind of person who loved fights and battles so you have found another way to gain some gold in this awful place, a job that seemed more normal than getting into troubles with some horrible monsters that wanted to take possession of your soul. The place where you were working was quite homey and comfortable despite the bad guys that could be found here, and it was one of the most famous places in Snowdin so there was a lot of job to do. This place was called “Grillby’s” and it took the name from his owner who was an aggressive fire man that was even your boss so you were not allowed to disobey to him. At first, he was reluctant to employ you like his employee because humans were not well seen here and he was afraid his clients would go away seeing how he was befriending a little human like you. Then, you showed him that you were really made for this job and he understood you were tough enough for working here and you were also so polite with clients even if nobody deserved those kind of treatments.Then, Grillby thought you were a good touristic attraction and he was not interested to sell you to Asgore, everyone would have paid so much to see a true specimen of human being.Obvious, it was the place when you met Sans for the first time since it was his favourite place where he could feel at home and Grillby was his best friend so he truly loved being here. Sans has never seen you so he was surprised a kind soul like you was working in a place like this.You did not seem able to protect yourself because there were so many maniacal persons here but it was not his business and he was not the kind of person who got involved in other people’s stuff. One day, you took his order because your boss was busy so Sans just told you what he wanted. Since you were a good waitress you started a conversation with him even if the skeleton did not seem so enthusiastic about it and he was never the one to start a dialogue and he was an awkward person.You remembered Grillby told you he was his greatest client so you had to treat Sans with respect and charm. Your boss also told you he loved so much weird jokes and puns because he was a very odd skeleton but he was funny in his very odd way and you were so curious because you appreciated these kind of things as well. You said to him a casual joke and you took Sans unprepared but he thought that it could be a way to spend the time so the two of you started to chat saying jokes and puns to each other. It was not a real bar-conversation but it was funny.

💚 SECOND MEETING ;

From the first meeting, you and Sans had other conversations to Grillby’s and the fire man was so surprised you were able to speak with him since Sans was a difficult person. Actually, Sans did not except anything from it and it was a way as any to spend time for him and you were not that bad. You always laughed at his jokes and he thought you were lying just because he was your client.After some days, you went grocery shopping and you were walking across the corridors of the big supermarket. There you found Sans that was so concentrate to choose his favourite sauce but he was unsure about the brand so you appeared behind him trying to scare him but your prank did not go through because he already noticed you but he just looked the other way. Good try, kid-!Then, you tried to give him some advices about the best type of mayo but he was unsure and it was the first time he approached you in a place that was not Grillby’s so he could consider you just like a stranger. Sans was still so grumpy and diffident and you were still a human, so he growled at you like he was a ferocious dog going away. You were offended by his behaviour because you wanted to be kind but he treated you like a piece of shit and you hoped he considered you like an acquaintance, at least but he was too wary.The day after, you went to job like always dealing with the table service because you did not want to approach Sans and even your boss understood something was wrong.Sans ignored you and your behaviour because he did not care so much and he did not consider you like his friend. He lived in a place where people slit each other’s throats. At the end, he noticed you were ignoring him as well and you were not working on the front and he had to admit he missed those funny conversations and your jokes were so hilarious but he did not complain. Sans was not going to make the first move anyway. Feelings were not his speciality and it was so difficult to understand people since he did not understand his own self the first place.

💛 CONFESSION ;

We could say it was because of Grillby the two of you started to chat again and he was not so nice with everybody. Sans was his best client and his long-time friend and you were his greatest worker so it was a shame he could not listen to your weird conversations anymore that were so entertaining and even if he never intervened it was still funny because you guys were cool.Then, this last period you were working not with your usual effort and it was so bad because it meant little money for him. He just ordered you to work on the front because it was your turn and he was still the boss so you could not refuse his orders! You knew it and you did not complain and you tried so hard to avoid Sans’ glance but he was still a client so you had to serve him.The moment Sans saw you coming in his direction asking for his order, he was a little confused and he felt a weird feeling because he forgot the answer so he remained mute. Since you were a good waitress you remembered so well his usual order and you served him just like you had read his mind and he was startled you still knew his favourite meal. He could consider it just like a “move” because you remained there waiting for his answer or a simple thanks for have served him impeccably like always. Your look made him uncomfortable so he started to stutter like a child who was spelling a difficult word at school. You sighed, rolling your eyes for the exasperation. You were the one who talked first because he was too distressed so you confessed to him that you felt so offended because he treated you so rudely that time in the supermarket without any reason. Sans tried to explain it was weird and he did not understand why you felt this way because in this place everyone acted like this so you could get used to it. You said to him that you were not “everyone” and you were hoping you and him could become friends and those conversations meant something to you, they were not only a little chat between a waitress and his customer so he should have understand the difference. A heavy silence took possession of the bubble where you and Sans were since it seemed there were no other people in this bar, only you and him. Sans felt so embarrassed, you could not even imagined because you seemed so great and you were so nice, funny and smart and you were not even weak as he thought because you could handle all these ugly guys here. Maybe you were too good for him, he did not want to lose his time chasing after an illusion and he felt a little stupid. Then, you assured him that you did not feel superior to him and maybe the two of you started in the wrong way so you asked him for a date in the smoothest way possible and he supposed he had some mosquitos inside his hole hears and he could not believe so you took his silence like a yes. You informed him about the hour and the place of the date, greeting him because you had work to do. Sans stayed there like an idiot who has not already realized he won the lottery.

💜 DATE ;

For your first date, you have booked a table at the Mettaton Resort and he was surprised you could allow to pay this much but you have worked so hard so you gain your money. He was even more shocked because you decided to use this money for dating him while you could spend it for yourself. It meant you cared a lot about him and you were so independent and cool so he was impressed. You reminded him of his brother but you were much more kinder and funnier than him, without any doubt. You explained to him that you had no choice and it was the easiest job you could do in a place like this because you did not want to fight and you found violence so awful and horrible, it disgusted you so much! This time, you and Sans had the possibility to talk a little more and he felt more comfortable than before especially when he found out your appreciation for his dark humour and you loved his dirty jokes, too. You were too perfect for him and he started to flirt shamelessly even if he appeared so odd in his awkward ways. Luckily, you have been so patient with him or he would have lost this precious chance and he would have never tasted this date and your delicious company.
