Sooo... here are my theories for your luca au... or what I theories about to happen :3
(Rather more question)
-----------------------------------------
I am really interested what Moon thinks about his mother. Ofc it could be not his mother(with Moon's logic), but what if she was? And now he doesn't even have a chance to get to know her. But Sun had her all the time... I hope this will be not a conflict between the boys~ 👀👀
And also I am so interested how this all mer-things work. Like what abilities Sun have? Can he also sing lullabies? Or his song has other effects? Do their song has the same effect on land if they want?
And what is with the hatching? I am a little bit surprised Moon is not asking more about Sun, and Sun is not asking more about how this could have happened, and why "broke the curse" specifically after his mother died. Is her mother really a human? Or another powerful siren, who somehow found a loophole to live in land? Is this common? Why did they split Sun and Moon?... there is still so much mystery around this topic.
Monty and Moon is kinda cute, but ohohohoo~ I am waiting for the scene, where Sun and Moon somehow both meet up with Bright. And I assume it will be somehow that Bright will see one of their mer-form. And freak out. Then so so so much distrust. That slowly could be build back up🥺
Because at one point they have to tell Bright that they go for a trip alone... or Bright will find about it themself.
And also the townsfolk. I mean... Sun and Moon's apperance as humans are not so...inconspicuous... so I am curious what the towsfolk think about the twins. And if there are more mers around, or just them.
And also Fazco! What do they already know about mers? How loyal Monty is? How much do he know? Is he really so stupid to not connect the dots about Moon (sry for the wording)😅 or just play along and wait for Moon to tell him himself that he is the mer. ... I mean... Moon literally showed up exactly after the mer "attack". And not like he showed up every day... it was unusual why then... so Monty really not see the connection, or think it was suspicious, that not only then showed up, but also told him to stop hunting for mers?
...if he really knows Moon as close as I think... he never wondered why Moon has those scars... and always after he hunted for the mer, Moon got a new scar?
AAAAA!!! I am so excited about where this go >:D ♡♡♡♡ either way you choose, I wanna see where this goes♡
Ooo hohohoh I love these thoughts
For the first question, wait and see ;)
Second question has been a little bit answered already in the fic
Third is a big part of the mystery so wait and see!
Hehe hoho wonder what Bright will do
The twins certainly are an oddity!
I will say about them not figuring it out, a lot of the characters (sans Moon) are a little dense. Bright notices things but puts the pieces together in the wrong way, Monty has a very strong division between the people he likes and the people (or things) he hates. Monty especially doesn't like to think that his friends could lie to him, even if signs point to the contrary

It's Mom 3 day 🐸 (Photographer: MrJechgo)
Discovered this little gem of a game when I saw the sad little boy in Subspace Emissary being all lonely and immediately getting nightmares from the horrifying King Statue into Spider Mech Porky section of the zoo. Went on the internet pretty quick to figure what the heck was going on. Which, honestly, "random nightmare fuel into curiosity into boundless love" is absolutely a common pipeline for me with the media I end up enjoying WHOOPS
Love this game so much... I still wanna revisit cosplaying Kumatora someday, especially since all the surviving photos of that costume are godawful blurry AUGH
Now I have a big Mr Saturn TRAPPED IN ACRYLIC JAIL and he and cosplay prop Mr Saturn are friends :)

please elaborate on ghoulboo (aka ghoul boy + ranboo)
ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY I WILL! although beckyu i have to admit i'm not sure if this is ENTIRELY what you're thinking since i meant ghoulboys as in shane and ryan from Watcher,,,, but i shall still elaborate.
the start of my idea is ranboo is a borrower who lives with shane and ryan. shane and ranboo have had a couple interactions before, and whenever they saw each other shane was extremely tired and just brushed it off as a trick of the eye.
and then THAT branches off into a couple mundane au ideas but my MAIN idea is that shane and ranboo meet again, maybe cause ranboo got curious of something and shane catches him. so the two of them kinda become friends/acquaintances ,, blah blah normal human/borrower meetings.
so time progresses, and one day ryan comes home with an old book of like witchy-demonic scriptures n stuff idek
one important thing about ranboo in this au is that he CANNOT READ. he does not know how to read. so, that book is the first book he's really been able to get at easily. while the humans are out of the house, ranboo takes a gander at the books and without really knowing the consequences of reading that stuff, pronounces it out loud.
that's the last thing ranboo remembers doing before he's waking up significantly taller. the first mirror he gets a look at suggests that he's something absolutely not human.
at this time, shane comes home and has to find a way to hide ranboo from ryan who's mere feet from coming in the house. and then, shane has to find a way to adjust his used-to-be tiny friend to being...whatever he is now without presenting ryan with The Horrors (cause who knows what kind of equipment ryan would use on the supernatural)

Byler proof!! Which we do not need by this point but hey, it’s still nice to have more byler proof, right??
honestly idk if we know this by now or not but I’ve just realized this so I’m sharing
So!! Owen trying to persuade El to join him and restore her powers, remember?
We have this:
Everything onscreen corresponds with what Owens is saying (proof for that later, below). But in this case?
My first thought was Oh, they’re showing us Mike when Owens says ‘a very real possibility this program fails.’ They are literally telling us m:leven is bones.
But then I started thinking more about it and: Yeah, they ARE showing us Mike. The program (the monologue) failed, and El’s friend Max died (if not for El literally doing the impossible, she would never see her again).
But they are also showing us byler here. Jonathan leaves the frame and we see byler, both of them in the middle of the screen. Yes, Mike is in the foreground but Will is literally RIGHT THERE. Not even on the side. In the middle. Before Mike obstructs our view of him, he’s the central point (because he doesn’t move, so he has to be right in front of us so we pay attention to him. Mike is moving so our attention is naturally drawn to him until he stands right in the middle too). <- The entire point is: They clearly want us to focus on both Will and Mike. Plus, Jonathan says, “The reservation’s under ‘Byers’.” just a second earlier. Maybe I should’ve started with that.
So, “the very real possibility this program fails” = it’s the 80s, homophobia everywhere, Mike is still trying to battle his gay, Will is indeliberately doing everything to sabotage his chances... If it was all real instead of a show, the chances that byler gets together would be... woefully small. (I didn’t say that, Owens did. I believe in canon byler in every dimension.)
And if THIS program (byler) fails? In S5, if the power of gay love doesn’t prevail in the crucial moment? Everybody dies. El, byler, Dustin, Dustin’s mom, Harrington’s hair, Mews’ ninth life in LA, Theodore Decker in Antwerp—everyone. Vecna slurps people’s minds like Mike Wheeler slurps his plain skim milk.
What I mean is, m;leven program had a very real possibility of failure and it already did. Byler has a very real possibility of failure but they aren’t allowed to, because that would be the end of all.
And to support the dramatic “end of all” part: Everything we see on our screens corresponds to what Owens is talking about. (yada, yada, proof below) but in this instance? “And if it does, you will never see your friends again?” And they show us her brothers and boyfriend? Nobody who she primarily considers as a “friend”? Because, of course, Will is her friend, and Mike is her friend, yes, yes. But if you asked her what they are to her, what would be the first things she says? Maybe it would be friend since she still uses “friends don’t lie” with Mike (she does, doesn’t she? *genuinely cannot remember 100%*) but even if, Owens could have easily said “you will never see your family and friends again”. I just don’t understand why he didn’t, when that’s what would better suit what we are shown.
This led me to think that “friends” here is the final bell, “Friends” are not just “friends”, it’s everyone. It just feels like he’s talking about everyone. He is. He literally is, I didn’t need to say all that lmao.
Hope you see the vision. Here’s the proof that Stranger Things creators do their job and know stuff I know—which, honestly? the bar is on the floor.
Brave friends, good people, Lucas onscreen. Makes sense. Lucas best boy.
Hop keeps swimmin’ because he knows El is still there, waiting for him. And Joyce. But then he thinks Joyce died bc of him. Darn. But El is still there as his reason to hold on just a little while longer, fight on just a little while longer, sing on just a little while longer.
I thought it was funny that when Owens starts speaking about starting to work on the program, he is literally shown with his computer, preparing a program. Not writing one, no. Just sending emails. He gets cushy money for his doctor diploma (? in question?) and sending emails. And asking a li’l boy questions that don’t do anything, and manipulating a teenage girl.
Government doesn’t believe in the power of love. How fitting. How sad.
Max. I love Max. They put her in the middle of our screens just like they put her in the middle of our hearts in the eye of the storm. Plus, to stress how very in the middle of the storm she is, and that it’s Max, Max it’s Max, helloo it’s Max that’s in the eye of the storm, they made her interrupt the long-ass speech in the middle of a sentence.
Kinda like they made Jonathan mention “Byers” when sliding the camera towards byler with Mike in the front and Will behind because REMEMBER WILL IS THEREEE

okay so considering that maturin is the natural opposition to It i’m thinking about that multiple UD theory (em <3) and wondering if accessing another dimension would reveal a creature of light that opposes the mf and maturin has a lot of qualities that are similar to that of Will personality-wise (kind, benevolent, wise, and he encourages bill to fight It with willpower, mental strength, and internal faith and belief which is what will uses to fight the mf). maturin ends up dying over the course of the 27 year time skip but that might not be relevant in this scenario
like it’s interesting how It may be the son of the crimson king (henry), suggesting that henry is the one who created the mf or at least the current version of it but maturin isn’t a product of anything, but rather one of the ‘old ones’ and a guardian of the beams that the crimson king is out to destroy. there’s the suggestion that It is a twinner (a doppelganger of someone in a parallel universe) of one of these beam guardians, as it’s perceivable form is a spider but that isn’t one of the actual guardians.
idk something about will guiding/being advised by the light and henry creating his own force or darkness which executes powers similar to his own
