one thing about me is if I see a Little Woman in a piece of media I will write a fanfiction that makes her so violently insane

Oh my god.
I forgot the details of the attack on Skalitz and asked Theresa about how she "got away from those cumans" (just picking dialogue options for info). She picks up that Henry saw her being attacked by a group of raiding mercs ("THOSE cumans??"🤌), but he didn't help!
Sorry mate.

My brother was playing “A woman’s lot” (Kingdom Come: Deliverance DLC) today and as a certified xp hunter he was looking for a way to make Theresa as combat proficient as possible, which resulted in her owning the archery contest several times (BTW, she’s a lot better archer than Henry early on), winning an obnoxiously big pile of money and increasing her archery to 8, with 20 being a cap (I think).
At this point, I guess if given a little more time and proper working conditions she would be able to single-handedly obliterate the entire unit of Cumans attacking Skalitz XD

Rating: Teen
Warnings: Graphic Depictions Of Violence
Relationships: Bianca/Theresa
Additional Tags: Animal Death, Hunters & Hunting, Grief/Mourning, Character Study, Revenge
Summary:
It wasn't supposed to be her.
Theresa cannot get the revenge she seeks, so she settles an old score instead. One-shot.
Excerpt
As she holds her sweetheart close, petting her hair and kissing her ears, she spots it. A shock of white feathers is perched in the great linden tree at the top of Castle Hill. It sits there, a colossus of a bird, as if watching them, its legs pink with dog blood and its wicked soul too stupid for sin.
“There, there,” Theresa shushes into the sunburnt scalp at the top of Bianca’s head, squeezing her closer and closer, as if to push the sadness out of her body and into the light of the spring sun. “Rest now. There’s nothing more for you to do.”
She does not mention the white bird, watching. From the ground, she watches back.
You’ll die for this, Theresa promises, wordlessly. She hopes, somehow, it knows.

i think the game really nailed the sense of utter dread coming from being in danger and totally helpless.
never have i been more scared while playing a video game than when i was fleeing skalitz, cumans chasing me and shooting arrows, my heart was hammering so loud that when i inevitably died, i had to take a moment before trying again, remembering where i am
that sense of dread faded a bit longer into the game when i trained Henry and put some armor on and i went - willingly - hunting some cumans for sport. and i imagine that is what many players enjoyed about Henry’s journey.
and then it came back, even stronger than before. with Theresa and her DLC.
sneaking through her whole arc was the scariest thing of all times. i couldn’t yell and run out of the bushes to go at three cumans at once, she wouldn’t do that, she couldn’t, she would die immediately (let’s ignore that you can actually do something similar in the game)
and i love, love how similar their journeys with henry are, and yet how different. how Henry pursues a new life in a violent life, Theresa goes back to living in a mill as before, not having anything to vent her rage through. so Henry keeps on losing bits of kindness where Theresa clings to them, one getting rid of them to keep himself sane, the other holding on to it for dear life for the very same reason.

this game really WANTS you to pay attention to your hygiene. during a woman's lot (in skalitz, where there's no public baths) i thought i was going to go insane because theresa kept getting dirty like her dress was covered in mud and i made her plunge into troughs every ten minutes and still everyone i talked to was like "aw man, you really are stinky tess :/"
