#it’s a smaller suite—all one room #it’s got arched lattice windows along one side of the room #with these beautiful thin gossamer white curtains on them #the adjoining wall is all doors that overlook one of the gardens #it’s often host to all sorts of creatures in the mornings #like peacocks and wild parrots #there’s two beds tucked away behind partitions #and white curtains draped over the beds (bc mosquitoes are certainly a problem) #they love the suite when it rains bc all of the windows are open air and let it the cool air #and they love watching the rain and the light in the suite reflecting off of the rich colors and tile of the suite #and yeah there’s two bed but eyrie and Estinien end up sharing one a lot #the night terrors go brr #me slapping the top of this place in my head you can fit so many fic ideas #I have got to find a prompt list for myself bc I’m sitting here with ideas and general vibes but no real direction to take them in #not looking tk be asked for prompts but looking for prompts as a jumping off point #Owen talks

Nico woke up and things weren't better. Actually, things seemed to be worse. Jason didn’t know how to act around Nico. Whenever they interacted things were awkward, and they both seemed to want it to end as soon as possible.

Jason didn’t want to things be like this. He wanted to talk to Nico, understand his memories, get things straight. But there were some problems: he didn’t know how to start the conversation, his memories were too confusing, Nico was always uncomfortable around him, there were always some problem or attack happening, whenever it looked like they would go to somewhere someone appeared, and the conversation would suddenly end.

Now, everything was calm, and they were alone at the deck. Jason was on the lookout, and Nico seemed to have some problem to sleep. It was the perfect time to talk, and Jason couldn't bring himself to say a word.

“Nico,” Jason took a deep breath, “hum, I was wondering if you could help me recover my memories? I only have some glimpses of my past, and you are in some of the few memories.”

Nico stayed quiet. He seemed tense.

“Yeah, sure. But I didn’t stay much time at Camp Jupiter, so I don’t think I’ll be able to offer much help.”

Jason frowned his eyebrows. If that was the case, why most of his memories about the camp was with Nico?

“Thanks.”

“Sure.” Nico started playing with his ring “Do you have anything specific you want to ask?”

Jason ran his hand through his hair. Well, it was now or never.

“I remember being in the Camp’s garden, with you, and we were talking? I don’t remember what the conversation was about”

Jason could clearly see the way Nico smiled in that day. He remembered Nico looked handsome in the day and he felt well, warm, happy after the conversation.

“Hum, we weren’t… we weren’t talking about anything seriously. I think I’m going to try to sleep now, okay? We can talk more about your memories tomorrow. Good night, Jason.”

That was weird. Had Jason done anything wrong? Was the conversation actually some fight and they still had an unresolved problem? Jason sighed. He would have to wait until Nico answered him to know, since it looked like his memories weren’t coming back anytime soon.

roommate has covid (again) (I hopefully dodged it bc I've been out on a work trip all week but still). I apparently got assigned awhile ago to lead next week's work trip but today is the first I heard about it so I'm scrambling to prepare everything on time. a covid conscious person I connected w/ online is coming to visit tomorrow and I'm stressed bc I have to get a bunch of work done before then and also I hope the vibe is cool in-person and that we can be friends! also none of my coworkers have said they can cover my shift tomorrow even though I put the request in the group chat weeks ago and I cover their shifts whenever I can. i am on day 32 of a 41 day stretch of working every single day with only two days off including 9/5 and tomorrow (IF one of my coworkers steps up...) . and then my next day off, in October, isn't even really a day off because I have to drive 4 hours round trip to the nearest city to get an MRI to see whether or not my recently diagnosed genetic disorder has given me internal cysts or tumors. I am hanging on by a thread haha

#god I fucked myself over so bad by having multiple part time jobs instead of one full-time + maybe a flexible side gig like I did last year #don't do it folks #anyways I finally get 4 days off in a row in October and I am going to sleep soooo much #the only thing keeping me afloat today is that I met w/ my former boss abt working for him doing rare books stuff this winter #and it's pretty much the perfect side gig #so i'm going to quit my other one the first week of october i think. finally #personal #im also sad and mad bc my roommates ruined the last batch of fireweed i harvested and bc i've worked so much this month i haven't been able #to go harvest more #i'm hoping that the covid conscious person & I can do that tomorrow! they'd like that i think #but ugh i wanted to forage so much this fall (prickly pear and rose hips and whatnot) #and i haven't had the chance bc i fucking work all the goddamn time and now most things are done #i also haven't checked on my community garden plot in weeks and i know im missing so many ripe tomatoes and peppers and stuff #god it just enrages me how much i have to work just to scrape by. how work demands all of me and leaves no time or energy for anything else #antiwork

juno is actually so mad bc we thought she was dead for 2 days until we heard her crying during her memorial yesterday, then she snuck back outside during the night & we thought she was really gone this time, only for her to start crying in the neighbour's driveway AGAIN, and now she's chilling with me after nearly 3 days of being thought dead

lazy girlies help me out: what is the easiest job you've ever had that one could get with an associate's or less

#all the jobs are like sales associate /plant waterer i dont even need a relevant degree for that #and i want a job thats not physically demanding if possible bc my side job is farming which is hard lol #im accepting tho that i need to look beyond horticulture for a job bc the one i wanted never got back to me and idk what else to do #im looking at receptionist jobs bc a lot of them just want a high school education but idk #i can mask well enough to seem like a people person but idk abt the organization and multitasking stuff #anyway suggestions welcome what is the easiest job #it doesn't need to pay a lot i just need some kind of income that wont drain my life force if possible #i found an assistant pre-school teacher position i could def do if i renew my cpr license #but im not sure i have the energy to work with kids full time #context if it helps: i am autistic and have chronic pain also i really am just lazy and dumb #so i need an easy job idc if it's boring as long as i dont need to be good at math #indeed is recommending me nuclear sub technician jobs i need real suggestions #i have experience with kids and gardening but both of those are physically demanding so i would love to not do that #my computer skills are nonexistent compared to other young people but old people think im good at it #i hate math tho

i love plants more than life but by god i have the opposite of green fingers. I managed to burn my tomato plant?? i think?? It got too much sun and the leaves fell off. I didn't even know that was possible with a tomato plant!
