Debt Repaid (part of @/truffyfest) It was a day like any other. A quiet little port town on a small spring island, beautiful and peaceful, almost picturesque. The Thousand Sunny and the Polar Tang were bathed in sunlight, the water around them sparkling like a sea of jewels. A perfect day, a perfect setting for the two allied crews to take a much needed break after travelling for weeks. At least... That was how it was supposed to be. MIND THE WARNINGS AND TEAGS PLEASE

Until We Drown (part 2 of Until we drown series) When the Straw Hats call you claiming an emergency, it can mean anything from 'We're surrounded by Big Mom, Kaido, Blackbeard, and the Navy, send help' to 'Luffy ate the last piece of cake and now there's chaos' and honestly, Law's long given up on trying to figure out where he stood on the emergency scale. But, well, bringing over as much food as he possibly could wasn't the weirdest request they've ever made of him anyway. This series will always be my baby <3

what are some of your favorite things about your fav character(s) in miraculous?

my favorite things about my favorite characters... excellent question @luckychatons!

Plagg: His capability to give zero fucks. Plagg just wants to sleep and eat cheese and have fun, and I love him for that! He's also like me in that at first it might seem like he doesn't care about people, but in reality he cares very deeply. His relationship with Adrien is very dear to me!

Marinette: She's (almost) as clumsy as I am! :D Some silly kinship there (not in a kinning way idk what that even is still) but I also love that she's very capable, and I appreciate her role as leader especially because like, she's a teenage girl (mixed-race, too). We need more characters like her, but they're still so rare!! And she's also cool because she is very clearly a girl and likes girly things, fashion for example, but is also a strong hero who knows how to stand up for herself and others. I hate it when female characters are afforded any less agency than what she gets, but all too often, women only serve as the love interest or have to be perfect all the time. Marinette is not Captain Marvel or Black Widow (who is also very cool but is too often the eye candy) and I love her for that.

Adrien: Quiet, patient, understanding, risk-taking, courageous, (book)smart; he's a lot of things I am or try to be, and then some! I also relate to him a lot. Like if there is one character in all of ml that I can project onto the most, it's him. We could get into angsty territory there but I will leave it at that. I appreciated seeing him rescue himself through becoming Chat Noir and I enjoy him as a genuinely kind, good character (with a temper, with trauma, but still choosing to be kind; that always means a lot to me).

DC: new relationship superbat where Clark introduces Lois to Bruce so his favorite people can get comfy with one another. She tickles Clark in front of his Super Cool boyfriend and both of them are incapable of being normal about it. (lee!Clark)

DC: superwonderbat + asking for it trope. Bruce is terrible at saying what he wants. Clark and Diana learn to speak his language. (lee!Bruce)

Wicked: Glinda is a terribly distracting study buddy. Elphaba knows just the thing to motivate her to stay on track. (lee!Glinda)

Supernatural: Cas contends with the scariest force heaven has to offer: his older brother. Dean chooses to be part of the problem. (brief lee!Dean, lee!Cas)

ATSV: Miles, Pav, and Gwen never argue that Hobie isn't punk. That'd be silly. Instead they argue that he's soft and likes them juuuuust a little. Just enough to compromise his image. (lee!Hobie)

ATSV: Peter tries to teach Miles to get better use out of his webs. Miles is a very fast learner and a little shit. (lee!Peter)

New Girl: A particularly handsy game of True American reveals something interesting about Jess. Nick is 100% normal and well adjusted about it. (lee!Jess)

Top Gun: Rooster takes advantage of the F-18 seatbelts to finally put Hangman in his place. (lee!Hangman)

LOK: Korra and Mako share a moment early in their relationship. Mako discovers how soft he is with her. Korra discovers he's ticklish. (lee!Mako)

Kingsman: Eggsy's mouth and his stubbornness get him into trouble at Statesman HQ. Whiskey and Tequila decide to show him how they handle mouthy recruits with too much pride. (lee everyone lol)

MAWS: Clark gets used to using his powers to help him out when people aren't looking, but sharing an office with his two best friends takes that option off the table. Lois finds it hilarious that this mountain of a man refuses to get a stepladder for a shelf he can't reach. (lee!Clark)

Blue Exorcist: Rin's powers ruin some of his plans and he struggles to take it well. Bon takes this personally. (lee!Rin)

I really love the way mike grell draws hal's hair. I love the way m.d. bright draws hal, but especially during Christopher priest's run.

I love Jorge Corona's art, it's very energetic and his composition is fantastic. I love the way doc shaner draws captain marvel in particular. I love Kelly Jones's fucked up batman. I love nick Robles' nightcrawler.

I love dan Mora's art, it's very solid and striking. I love simone di meo's art, he has fun with lighting and angles. I love tamra bonvillain's colors, she really breathes life and emotion into the pages. I love dave Stewart's colors. I love Sarah Stern's colors.

I love david aja's art, his style is so clean and his composition and paneling are fantastic. I love the way Kevin Maguire draws expressions. I love greg smallwood's artstyle and I love the threads he posts on Twitter where he explains his process.

I love mike mignola's art, his style and paneling and composition are so fucking good. I love George Perez's artwork, his kori is unmatched. I love darwyn Cooke's art, it's so fucking solid and his composition is amazing. I love tim Sale's art, his art is so solid and his composition is fantastic.
