I started playing around with my Charlie’s design a little bit. I wanted to add some more covert wolf/dragon-like qualities, and I’ve also been ruminating on the white-savior narrative a bit as well as colorism… I know that they are technically half black in my version (they’re basically albino and albino black/bipoc people exist and, of course, should be acknowledged; I don’t want to overlook them, however, there is something to be said about how lighter skinned people or characters tend to fill the kinds of protagonist roles Charlie is in at a disproportionate rate….for very obvious reasons…., and idk how I would feel about playing into that even if I aim to critique it, especially if this ends up branching off into its own little thing) and that I chose the white coloration to comment on the ways we perceive whiteness as purity (lamb deception) whilst demonizing darkness, but I’m still on the fence. Like I said, I also wanted to play around with wolf patterning, so I landed on some vitiligo (ig?)- coded ideas. I’m not sure if I’m sold on it right now, but I do like the concept. I was also gonna try darkening their skin tone, but that one’s still in progress (Sorry, I don’t do a lot of digital art, so I’m kinda bad at it lol)

If anybody has any thoughts on the subject, I’d love to hear them.

Also, some more fun facts: they definitely have a more extensive wardrobe as royalty, and the colors I associate with them are black, white, pastel blue, and red (so original lol). They wear more red around their father or whenever they feel crappy since this palette is based on flame coloration in accordance to heat (high spirits = blue and white; low= red and reddish orange) and in my version, red would be a color closely associated with specifically Lucifer’s presence (instead of…everything), so they’re subconsciously trying to match his energy. They wear more contrasting black and white outfits when hanging around Alastor. With V, it’s more the typical blue (their usual attire is made to complement each other through pastels). Oh, and V finally has a name: Vanesa. That should have taken two seconds to come up with, but indecisiveness strikes again. I’m still second guessing.

first off every YIIK character is queer and neurodivergent becuz I'm queer and neurodivergent and I said so, the specifics of that depend on my mood and what sort of au bullshit i'm coming up with at 2am in a VC with my friends tho

Alex is complicated. i hate him hes a massive douche but also I really do get what the devs were trying to with him. the occasions when he's being nice and having fun with his friends are where he shines and honestly at heart hes just some guy who needs to get a grip and get his shit together (relatable). if i knew him personally i'd probably slap him and then we'd be good, he probably specialised in sci-fi/fantasy creative writing for his libarts degree and definitely wrote an essay at somepoint about videogames as an art form. He has tattoos but they're all probably really cringe and embarassing because they were super trendy when he got them and then fell out of fashion, he has one of those barbed wire ones around his upper arm.

Michael is my FAVORITE GUY OF ALL TIME HES SO SILLY but also i've made him horribly angsty in my brain as well it's so. i think him and alex have a really good "friends who are used to each other's bullshit" dynamic but also i ship them a little bitty bit just cuz i'm a sucker for besties who are obliviously in love with each other as a trope. He would hate-watch ancient aliens and buzzfeed unsolved because he thinks he knows better than them. If you read his comments on ONISM he also seems to be a really sweet and supportive guy with the userbase and thats rlly cool hes such a guy Aside from that though he has the most unexplored depth as a character imo, since it's confirmed he isn't from the present reality and at some point definitely becomes aware of that fact I like to think underneath the funnyman bestie thing he's probably having a crisis about who he is and stuff because even before he's consciously aware of it he probably felt this vague subconscious feeling of like,,,Not Belonging ig? idk i think he probably knows this isn't where hes really meant to be and hes trying to truck through it but the impostor syndrome is definitely there. I love michael so much he is a certified blorbo

Rory is sooo mecore I stole his name online because he's so mecore we are both emo/scene kids and his canon favorite song according to some questions directed at the dev team is a brighteyes song that i also love its like fate. ANYWAY I feel really bad for Rory because i think his character is probably handled one of the worst just with the tonal whiplash a lot of his character-centric moments has. I bet he listens to weezer and radiohead. If YIIK was set now he would be into creepypasta and he would get michael into it since it ties in with his paranomal urban legend stuff, they would vlog hunting for slenderman together. him and alex run a gaming channel together (THIS IS AN INSIDE JOKE BUT I HAD TO PUT IT IN I COULDNT HELP MYSELF)

Vella is pretty and I think she's super cool, one of my besties LOVES her so I kinda let him be the friend group CEO of vella stuff but my biggest takeaways from her is that I hope she gets back into making music again, but for her own fun this time instead of to fulfill some success pressure. maybe she starts a crappy little garage band with some of the gang and they write terrible songs about aliens who smoke pot and dance the macarena and she's the only one there who can actually play but they have fun with it. She also knows all the videogame cheat codes and keeps setting high scores that alex and michael cant beat. Also her mind dungeon reminds me of yume nikki and thats super cool cuz i love yume nikki

Chondra and Claudio deserved way more time for their characters to develop and also their lore is weird and confusing and I think the whole missing brother thing is rlly weird too becuz of the reveal of how that all works with alex and shit. BUT if they had been handled bettter they probably would be my favorites because I think claudio is super fun and his VA sounds like he's really going for it and he's just such a chill guy and he's super passionate about his interests and i respect that and 100% would be his bestie chondra is super cool too, she's clearly really into sports and I bet she hangs out at the local skate park and impresses everyone cuz of her roller skates and also probably gets vella into skating too and they go together and have matching customised helmets just for the extra cool factor. alex and michael and rory come and watch them but are too pussy to try (alex has had enough from that stupid skateboard ability you get in vella's dungeon). Maybe she goes to some competitions for it and stuff too

uhhh some other various stuff the essentia is really cool but also confusing and it took ages to make sense of her lore but i LOVE her voice the effects to make it robot-y are *chefs kiss* and essentia 995 is just SO idk how to describe it the part when she says "often it is necessary to lie to oneself to get a tough job done" hits really hard for some reason. shes metal as fuck, metaphorically and literally. sammy is literally a caricature of a real life dead girl and i think that's pretty fucked up and they shouldnt have done that, but she would have been really cool if it wasn't for that big yikes. in general i really love a lot of the influences yiik has i'm a huge fan of rpgmaker horror and murakami books and a bunch of the other shit that it references so hehehehehe thats cool

ok so i have this idea to take all my horses in sso and write them some backstories & possibly make an au (the only problem is its my first time being an active fandom member so idk how alternative universes work just yet zhskak) where all of them are fairies??? like

i just love fairies and their folklore as they were an important influence of the happy part of my childhood as well as those old star stable games (and now sso, thats why ive started playing it in the first place) and i just really really want to combine those things kinda as a way to cope with stress?????? bc yeah i kinda struggle and need some comforting

so the general idea i have is that theres a community of fairies living on jorvik and they have quite a specific sense of humor - they like to turn each other into horses just for the lolz. the thing is not every single one is able to change back into their original form.

and thats where sasha beeblanket (my mc / oc) starts being important. theyr a shapeshifter who researches this phenomenon and want to help the fairies who got stuck.

i want to design a fairy form of each of my horses as well as their past (including their homes??? i remember i has S O much fun making fairy houses back when i was 8)

idk i cant write and my english is crappy so i wont be writing any long stories ig but id love to paint them. i need to do some research tho both on the sso lore bc im still a new player and the fairy related folklore bc i cant remember much.

im so excited tho like i need some creative work bc ever since ive started that internet marketing course i have no mental space for that. and i spend most of my leisure time playing anyway so this may make me feel better in general

Was watching this guy’s IG vids a minute ago. He described himself humorously as a “lost 22 year old; recently graduated; unsure what to do with himself”.

He was just out for the day, getting something to eat and said he felt kinda crappy, again in a self aware sorta tone. He joked about taking a trip to Europe, because that’s what you do when you’re a lost 22 year old.

This state of “not knowing what to do with yourself” is interesting. As a young person, you feel like you’re at a significant deficit when you don’t have a thing you want to do. This makes most of us “feel crappy”. This is understandable, of course, because we’ve experienced it and heard it a million times from others. It’s normal.

Why is the product “feeling crappy” though? Why can’t you simply be in a state of not knowing, know you’re working out of it, and get on with the day? I’ve observed in myself that I’m better at enjoying the little moments when I feel like “things are in order”. This too makes sense, but it’s so clearly a trick of the mind.

It’s as if we believe when we find “the thing” — what we love doing — that’ll forever be the end of our suffering and striving. Not true. This “lostness” experienced by youngsters is not exclusively theirs, at all. We will all sway in and out of harmony with ultimate ideal, to be passionately occupied so as be immune to the stinky vibes we love to create otherwise.

It upsets me to think of someone or myself having a simple, enjoyable moment before them, but not enjoying it because of some tricky social expectation looming over their experience. These social expectations aren’t bad. They are simply what we think, projected onto the society around us. We want to be up the standards, so as to have safety and value among the people we share our world with. Other humans value being up to standards, who might be our friends, lovers, partners.

It’s easy to imagine casting these ideals away, being rid of their negative feelings, but it risks becoming what you ultimately do not want to become. People who don’t measure up to the standards that “make us feel crappy”, are people who likely have very satisfying vices and such to occupy them instead.

Do not cast away your standards unless you wish to be a monk, or you will end up a bum.

So how do we live with these standards that press against us? How to we let them aid is in our journey of growth but not crowd our attention so much? I think we simply must learn to manage how much we focus on the feeling of pressure they apply. It is essentially stress. An expectation yet to fulfilled, at danger of being unfulfilled. This is the pressure. To fulfill our chosen destiny.

There are other things happening, besides that impending achievement, hanging over a cliff edge. In fact, most of the things that are happening, are not that. Why do you choose to stare, dry eyed, at the thing that makes you feel stressed? Imagine what the progression through a day would look like if you had it all. Imagine what people would think (what do you think of big-shots?). What would truly be different? You may still tell yourself you have not yet done enough.

Remind yourself how far you’ve come from pooping in diapers; from highschool; etc. Would someone be envious of what you have? Of the paths available before you? Of your miseries? Starkly practice believing that things are adequate enough that you can enjoy those little moments. You’ve accidentally been practicing the inverse by focusing on the amazing possibilities for so long. Maintain yourself and what you have, practice having fun (and planning fun).

again, only for favors because it was hard to get peace in these crappy motels

leaving you to get a rematch against thanos when the time would come

and reuniting with tony just for him to lecture you with the rest of the team

anyways your time did not come and you waited five years for another chance

and although you did not redeem yourself on your own, you were just glad that your side, humanity, had won

but just before thanos had ceased to exist, you told him

“simon says to feel the pain of loss for all of eternity” -you

it may have been cruel, but it’s what he deserved

the next step was for you and sam to be pardoned of your crimes

but you didn’t exactly part ways just because...what else was there for you to do? the two of you were close after your time on the run

and all was well until he decided to give the shield up

“oh, bucky’s gonna be pissed” -you

“he’ll be fine” -sam

now, bucky had mixed feelings about you

he was nervous about your powers, but you did save him

and he knew what it felt like not to be trusted

so he gave you a chance and partnered with you after the “new captain america” and the “flag smashers” fiasco

legally, if you used your powers on a government official/soldier you’d go back in the slammer, but it was quite tempting, even if it were just a “simon says punch yourself in the face”

and off to madripoor you went with...zemo

You’re eating some quell-my-nausea-after-the-ride french fries and walking away from the masses for some fresh air when you spot her. She’s running straight for you through the dregs of the crowd, a bright smile on her face and a too-big jean jacket on her shoulders.

“Star?”

“[NICKNAME]!”

She slams into you, wrapping her arms around your neck and pulling you tight. You wobble a bit, hugging her back with one arm after a moment-- the other arm extended out to save your food.

“Where have you been?” You ask as she finally pulls back. “I checked all the usual places but I couldn’t find you.”

You hold her at arm’s length and scan her over with your eyes once or twice. There’s an odd twinkle in her eyes and she’s bouncing on the balls of her feet, grabbing your free hand and holding it.

“Oh! I met some people, [NAME], and they’re so- so- they’re bitchin.”

You can only cock a brow, not getting to say a thing before she’s dragging you down the walk, even further away from the crowd and towards a group of boys over by some motorcycles. There are five of them-- three blonds, a brunet, and a little one, who’s standing close to the aforementioned brunet-- and they’re all staring at the two of you.

“Thought you ran off on us, Star.” This one rocks a bleach blonde mullet and a long black jacket, casually smoking a cigarette as he stares your friend down with the most intense look you’ve ever seen.

She wordlessly slinks from your side and curls up into his, staring up at him like he’s some sort of Adonis and leaving you all alone under the piercing stares.

“This is the person I told you about, David.” She croons.

“Hi… I’m [NAME] [LAST NAME], Star’s only friend.” You hold out the little checkered carton. “Fries?”

The blonde to your left, who looks like he stepped right out of Twisted Sister, steps forward.

He plucks a fry and pops it into his mouth. “I’m Paul, and I don’t mind if I do.”

After him, they all introduce themselves one by one. If you notice the two audaciously staring at you, you don’t say anything.

You’d been lost in thought, consumed by the fact that you’ve never liked any of Star’s boyfriends and now you were stuck third-wheeling with a whole group of people you don’t really know, and the blond had been, to your knowledge, with Marko like twenty feet in front of you. How did he move that fast?

“Someone’s skittish.” The tall brunet says while grinning at Paul, showcasing strangely sharp teeth as you move away from him and huff.

Rubbing your arm, you stare up at him defiantly. “I’m not skittish, he just caught me off guard.”

He looks down at you, evidently amused, and the blond corners you from behind, resting his head on your shoulder.

“Oh really?”

The boy pokes you in the side, snickering a bit as you make another noise and turn to slap him on the chest.

“Boys.” David drawls, sipping on a soda as Star smiles at you and hangs off his arm. “Leave them alone.”

He’s not actually scolding them, the small smirk on his lips giving him away, but Paul does half-heartedly put his hands up in defense. Still, like dogs discovering their favorite toy squeaks, the two boys continue to smile mischievously at you and then one another.

You keep your arms crossed and become wary of their every movement.

“I think me n’ Star are gonna head back.”

Nose wrinkling at the way she giggles and the lecherous look in his eyes, you glance between them all, confused about what’s going to happen to you as they all start to joke around with David. He turns his eyes to you.

“Keep our new friend entertained, would you?”

Paul wraps an arm around your shoulders and Dwayne smirks softly.

“Gladly.”

You give your best friend a look and she smiles in a way that’s supposed to be comforting.

“Oh come on, have some fun [NAME]! You should come back to the cave later, it’s really cool!”

You laugh nervously and nod. “I’ll think about it…”

And then, all too fast, you’re left alone with Dwayne and Paul, Marko taking Laddie off and David disappearing with Star.

“Either of you up for the Ferris wheel?”

Turns out, the Ferris wheel might’ve been a mistake.

You’re currently slid all the way toward Dwayne, your nails digging into the skin of his arm as Paul continues to mockingly rock the seat.

“I will push you out to save myself.” You say shakily, glaring at the blond who merely giggles.

Dwayne, who has been silently letting you cling to him, laughs too. If they weren’t such asses, they’d be really pretty.

“Come on, Paul.” He taunts. “They’re kind of high strung, maybe we should do what David said and leave them alone.”

You cock an eyebrow at him as Paul does stop, sliding closer to you and boxing you in between them. Despite how frustrated you are, your heart starts to beat quicker.

“Oh really? I think I have a way to help them unwind.” His hand, surprisingly cold, rests suggestively on your thigh.

You freeze up a bit, doing nothing to move his hand away. Dwayne lifts a finger, almost as if he’s telling Paul to wait, and Paul removes his hand with a slight pout.

“Are you two…?” You gesture to them both when you find your voice.

The blond grins. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”

But the brunet tilts your head toward him with a finger under your jaw, causing your breath to hitch. They notice.

“Occasionally,” Dwayne says, shrugging, “we’ve even been thinking about having someone else join in on the fun.”

You swallow slightly, pointing your hand to yourself. “...am I?...”

Paul hums, leaning closer to you.

“Only if you want to.”

You nod a bit, your throat feeling quite dry.

Surprisingly, both of them nod, watching you eat the cotton candy they bought you. Marko, little Laddie in tow, walks past you three and tells them it’s time to go.

You wave a bit at Paul, who gives you a two-finger salute as he and Dwayne walk back toward his bike, shoving each other and goofing off as they go. For a moment, their invitation echoes through your mind. Slightly mean and annoying strangers aside, they’re incredibly attractive. Freakishly so. And they’ve made it incredibly clear throughout the night that they are attracted to you. You. For so long, you’ve left the mistake-making to Star. She was the one who was always on the walk of shame, stumbling back to you with bruised lips and puke in her hair. Maybe, for once, you can be the one who makes mistakes.

Casual hookups aren’t anything out of the norm.

“Wait up!” You cringe, pushing past it to run up to the two boys who stopped to turn to you. “I, uh, I change my mind. I want to come with you…”

He simply looks at you for another moment, pretty eyes staring into your soul. Your smile falters a bit then, fearing that you’ve made a mistake of some kind, and then you’re jumping out of your skin as the other boys whip by on their bikes, hollering over the wind.

Dwayne’s lips tilt up into a grin, putting those sharp teeth on display yet again, and he lets out a small laugh.

“You better hold on tighter then, baby, ‘cause it’s a wild ride.” He wets his lips and revs the engine.

You do as he says, barely hearing him over your own heartbeat.

(It’s not until later, when you’re pressed between the two gorgeous vampires, one whispering carnal things in your ear as the other sucks on the skin between your neck and collarbone, do you realize that, maybe, you should’ve heeded your mother’s warnings.)

actually, after i got this ask, i've reignited another one so. that's 4 current ones in total! imma put it all under a read more akufh

alrighty, so, the one that's been running for the longest so far (almost 2 years now) are some idiots that are involved w/ a silly Twitch stream that went on throughout the lockdowns, here in the UK, called Escape the North! it was a dnd style escape room thing that would bring regular viewers in to play through a dystopian Manchester to try and find our Nan and/escape the city. the specific part of this show I'm still fixating on are a duo called Foxdog Studios.

they're IT technicians turned comedians! (i actually have a tattoo to do w/ one of their pieces of work. Robot Chef) Robot Chef combines their knowledge of computers and programming. they use AR (to bring the audience into it so they can interact w/ the kit too, as it is an interactive show) it's... difficult to explain, so, lemme being another picture in.

here's a fantastic picture of Pete being an idiot at the second live show i've seen them at. anyway. the rigging of Robot Chef. there's a rig on which sits a.. tractor, of sorts, it has a magnet attached to it and down bellow is a pan and a camping fire. the audience has control of the tractor and the magnet using AR buttons that are projected onto the table! it's fascinating stuff, imo.

what's their connection to ETN (escape the North), you ask? well, they built the Motherbrain, the website the whole show is ran through. she's a custom programmed piece of kit that is amazing and I still can't quite get my head around it all, but even little snipped I can get about her, i'm happy ehe

moving onto the next fixation: Ant and Dec! i... kinda lied when i said Foxdog are my longest fixation atm ig. but not quite. Ant and Dec are more of a special interest that has been around for me since 2012. and recently, it has picked back up, into a fully fledged fixation again, it feels like i'm back in '12 all over again aha

the reason it picked up again was that faithful first ep of series 18 of SNT. Lady Antionette and Miss Donna Lee have turned my world upside down and goddamn I cannot stop talking about Ant and Dec since then. they looked absolutely stunning and since then, i've been hopelessly lost in the world of all their work since then.

but the original reason of me getting interested in these guys was Smii7y! he's not officially part of the group but many peeps in the community basically consider him to be an honorary member.

She’s friends with almost everyone at Salieri’s (except Frank ig just because I couldn’t see them interacting much.. and Vinny..) and mostly just hangs out with them, she doesn’t really interact with other people anymore. Friend group that consists almost exclusively of italians <3 Her best friends are Olive and Sarah, maybe also Carlo since he always hangs around the bar too while the others are doing idk mafia things and plays cards with them :/ She’s friends with the other guys too though. Including Ralphie to some degree, she feels sorry that everyone makes fun of him... then laughs at whatever mean shit the others say about him and feels bad about it 😔

Oh you know 🙄 has a stupid little crush on Sam because she likes evil men i guess... idk what to say because there’s. A lot. They hold hands on her dads couch, get together like a year later because hes a freak etc. You know how it ends in canon but in the sexy superior au they get married in 1939/1940 something but nothing changes bc she was living in his crappy little italy apartment anyway :) also no kids god..

Hmmm mostly her parents. Yes her dad is a crooked doctor but she wants to be like that too... He ends up in prison in the canon timeline though :c  Also her late mother... she was an author (not a well-known one lmao) who died in the late 1910s :/  She trusts uhhh.. her dad and her friends I suppose.. her close friends.

BACKGROUND

Where were they born? What was their childhood like?

She was born in Parlermo in the 1920s but her family moved to america when she was very young so she has no memory of her old home :/ They weren’t very well off in sicily and that didn’t change when they moved, her parents worked shitty jobs with low pay so they didn’t have much & lived in some ugly little apartment in little italy with their three kids... Lucia had to take care of her brothers most of the time because her parents both worked.. and was usually the one who had to beat the other kids’ asses when they got into trouble with any of them 😒 She spent most of the free time she had studying and doing things for school so she could get a proper job and wouldn’t end up like her parents or whatever

What’s their family like?

Her parents like I said are both from Sicily.. her dad is a mechanic and mostly worked in some little garage. The earning wasn’t that bad for the time but he made a few debts to the bank (and other people trying to pay those off) in the 1930s so you know :/ Her mom worked part-time in some random store lol.. they loved her obviously but they were very strict and had a billion expectations while also not really being around enough. They do support her trying to do well in school, mayyyyybe also going to college and all that but still expect her to get married instead of pursuing a career in the end so she can become a proper housewife 😒  She also has two younger brothers, Antonio and Frank.. they’re closer and like i said... Lucia is the cooler older sister who beats up the other kids who mess with them. They don’t have much lore but.. they exist..

None... idk.... empire bay library where she works in the late 40′s/early 50s :) she initially just works there as a librarian but becomes an archivist in 1950 something.

How do they fit into their “story”?

Just like Mia, she’s Vito & Joe’s friend from childhood.. dumb teenage antics that end after high school and they grow apart while Vito is in the army and Joe does... crime things. She’s just doing her own thing until the like 2 months where Vito isnt in prison.. where she has to drive his ass home after he & Joe robbed that one jewelry store :^) also they all meet up again in 1951, life is good for 3 months

Where do they currently live? What’s their place like?

Some crappy little apartment complex in Westside except her apartment looks nice 😌 it’s nothing fancy but it’s cozy and nice, lots of books lying around (there’s a system to it according to her), some old furniture mixed with new mid-century style ones. She has a little sunburst clock hanging there.

How do they eventually die?

Uhhh probably just of old age... in a swamp..

Her childhood friend group that I mentioned, consisting of Vito, Joe and Mia :) They all lived in the same crappy neighborhood and went to school together.. Apparently Joe was the neighborhood bully whch is funny as hell to me but also. Lucia got into his “gang” when he picked on her little brother and she threatened to beat his ass.. meanwhile Vito actually had to do that to get into their group lmao. They met Mia like two years later in church and all became friends when Lucia helped her out in school 😳 She’d definitely consider Mia her best friend, they still hung out after their little friend group fell apart :(

Ahem.... she and Vito.... Childhood friends to lovers 😌 they were just friends in high school & she thought she’d never see him again after he got arrested but she does in 1945. Then he gets arrested again :)) Uhh she probably briefly dated a few people during that time but nothing ever came out of it. They get together in 1951 though but i cant talk about my mafia ships here or I’ll combust. They also probably have kids idk yet.. they look like kids people

Yng&Rich Concert Seoul 7/27/19

I ended up in the middle because I got there late so my entry number had already passed. I entered with people who had like number 300 (mine was 147!!!). Anyway, not that big of a deal because something happened later that was SUPER cool and would have been LESS cool had I entered at the time I was supposed to.

So first, the people from Super Bee’s show came out. It was a solo guy who performed two songs and then 3 guys who performed 2 songs. They were alright. They were also in the VIP section on the second floor all night turning up and having fun. That was cute.

Then Twlv came out. I didn’t know much about him before this except for the song that just came out “Golf Wang”. I DEFINITELY now about him now though! All of his songs were good and I love his singing voice!

Then, Super Bee came out! I was SOOO happy and excited. He’s not blonde anymore like I was expecting but he has like this brownish hair color. He performed a bunch of good songs. It was lit, I was happy. I didn’t really get much video or pictures at this concert though because I was kinda far back and I could barely see with my own eyes lol.

Then Uneducated Kid came out. Girl....lol. His performance was wild. He performed his songs and people were having a good time and stuff. Tell me why closer to the end of his set he walked off stage and stopped the song? He did this to go to the second floor by the middle of the crowd (where I was standing) and climbed over the railing. Now, at first, I just thought he was gonna perform there since it’s high up and everybody can get a good view of him. Then he climber over and I was like “Shit! PLEASE don’t fall!” for someone reason it hadn’t registered to me that there was a whole crowd to catch him even if he did. I thought he was gonna stay THERE and perform. But no, pretty soon I realized what he was gonna do when the security rushed into the crowd. He jumped!! Thank GOD for security catching him because there was literally a bunch of women and teenage dudes so who knows if we would have caught him the right way? (side note but I was at a concert before where someone did that but off a speaker in stead of a balcony and a lot of people moved and he landed on me and another girl basically so I actually HAVE seen this end pretty crappy before. Luckily no one was hurt in that instance but both the guy who jumped and the other girl ended up on the ground so it could have been MUCH worse). This was WILD because I literally felt him brush my arms a bit before security clutched it and caught him themselves so a bunch of us didn’t have to do it hahaha. Anyway, this opened up the crowd enough so that I could go further up and I could see better. He performed “Amazing” and I was HYPE! Cause after jumping off I knew the set was close to over but he was still doing like every song BUT that one. I was already ready to DM him on IG after the concert and be like “Hey! Perform Amazing at your concerts asshole <3 <3″ but he performed it and I went OFF!

Then All three of them came out and performed “Golf Wang” and the other Yng&Rich songs. Then Super Bee did some more solo stuff “SuperBeeWhy” and “Heu”. Then the encore was “Golf Wang” and “Party Party” which I think is unreleased because nobody was singing along and I’ve never seen a song that was named that (I couldn’t understand most of his introduction about that song. My Korean ain’t THAT good!)

Overall, I had fun. I’m glad it was only two hours and not monstrously long like Buzzer Beat lol. The standout thing was DEFINITELY Uneducated Kid jumping into the crowd though. Every time I see him so crazy shit happens lol

Yknow when the rain just starts and it’s not even rain yet, just light sprinkling? I like to walk around in that and feel the cool air and the tiny drops of water on my face; it’s really calming and grounding to me somehow. When I was in India during the rainy season, my cousins and I used to play outside in the rain bc it was so warm; I loved that so much!!

25. Most hufflepuff thing you’ve ever done?

I had to look up the hufflepuff traits lmao I am neither hard working nor dedicated nor patient yikes but I suppose I am loyal and I try to be kind (sometimes lmao). I think the most hufflepuff thing I’ve done has been to stick by people when they’re at their lowest point, to try to help them through it, to continue to be there for people even when they can’t to the same to you, to be understanding of their growth process and unconditional in my love. I’m not the most loving or kind person, but I try to be a source of emotional support for my loved ones as much as I can :)

4. Where in the world would you most like to visit?

It sounds cliché but Paris, I think. It has a lot of art and architecture and cool culture, and I love that stuff. I really love art and to be able to go to the louvre and all those other cool artsy places would be awesome. Also my sister went there and she said it’s very aesthetic and almost fairytale-like, everywhere you look is something pretty. I think I’d really love it there. (Plus it’s where miraculous ladybug is set, I mean come on I have to get merch and frolic around the setting of that cute ass show lol)

Haha oh boy this is why I’m not a ravenclaw I have suddenly forgotten everything I know; did I ever even know anything?? Lmao prolly not yikes! Oh uhm the thing that popped into my head was learned helplessness, you can actually be conditioned into feeling helpless. There was a study with dogs, where they ran a small current through the floor to shock them and put a short wall in front of them; on the other side is an area where the floor won’t shock them. The dogs in this case would, of course, jump over the wall. But, there were some dogs they prevented from moving, I think by tying them to something. They tried to move but then they eventually gave up. When they untied these dogs and shocked the floor again, they stayed frozen and didn’t try to escape the shocks. What this tells us is that once the brain learns it cannot escape or fight something, it will stop trying at all, hence the term learned helplessness. I always thought this was kinda crazy and super interesting, psychology usually is lol. (I feel bad for the doggos tho :( I don’t think the shocks were very strong, I hope they gave the babies lots of treats after the experiment)

20. What is your favorite fairy tale?

OMG DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED!! I love fairy tales! It’s hard to choose a favorite. I think red riding hood is interesting and I also love Bluebeard (weird choice I know, but the concept is p intriguing). Hmm the one about Baba Yaga is cool, where the girl goes to borrow fire (I can’t remember what it’s called), there’s probably a bunch of other ones but I’ll stop here for now lol. (If you include mythology I get even crazier, don’t even get me started on my love for hades and Persephone lol)

22. If you could learn one language overnight, what would you choose?

I hate myself for saying this but...I’d have to go with Korean lmao then I could sing all the songs!! That would be so satisfying! And I could understand them! And I could talk to idols! And I could watch dramas without subtitles! Although Japanese would be a close second bc I’m a weeb lmao (no I’m not I just like anime okay lol) it would also be really nice to like actually know how to speak Hindi properly (ik how to speak it but my grammar is rather subpar), as well as to write it lol

25. Most ravenclaw thing you’ve ever done?

Hmmm. Started reading a dictionary and highlighting words I didn’t know (I gave up very quickly lol). Used obscure historical figures to tell people my age (ex I’m as old as Francis the second when he died plus four). Read Shakespeare for fun. Tried to read the prince and the pauper in 7th grade to distract myself when I was scared; it did not work bc I didn’t understand any of it at all lmao. Hated Odysseus so much that I wrote an entire essay bashing him and his huge ego freshman year of high school. Hated Rochester so much that I wrote a solid 7-8 page essay bashing him as well in college. (Can u see a trend? I abhor crappy men and I will rant about it forever lol. i totally understand people getting angry because chris cancelled but uh you know what annoys me is that like you said evans cancelled too, other actors like ruffalo cancelled in cons before too and people get pissed yeah but you don't see this getting to the point of calling them selfish with big egos and conspiracy theories. Let me tell you this one thing, if I had bought those Ace Comic Con tickets like  I wanted to, months in advance, daydreaming about it for ages, then YES, I’d be super super pissed at Chris. Maybe I’d take it personally even. Money isn’t easy to come by. Tom is perfect, and I’m sure I’d have lots of fun going there even without Chris (I mean Seb and Anthony?? C’MOOOON) and meeting other fans,  but for the first few days after the cancellation I’d be super pissed that he stood us up. People bought VIP tickets for him and Tom, know what I’m saying? VIP tickets. I’d be like, there goes my planning, there go my vacations. Hell, even now, from the comfort of my laptop, I feel like my vacations were kinda ruined lol, I was waiting for that Hiddlesworth reunion sooooo bad and I know of people who were counting on it for inspiration (YES, it’s a big deal, it’s what drives us all). 

But if people get generally pissed at Chris, from their keyboards, without  having bought those tickets then sorry, that’s entitlement right there. 

And another thing, sure I’d vent on the social media about it. But I would not go to Chris’ IG or twitter or whatever to nag him. People have been tagging him with complaints on twitter, dude. When I nag to someone it’s only when I want to make things right, what’s the use of doing that if there’s no solution to my problem? OH RIGHT, I can always guilt trip a celebrity and feel better about myself because all that bad energy MUST go back to the person who caused it, instead of withering away. Sure it will solve my problem, it will make Chris change his mind, change his plans and go to that con. Absolutely.

Someone in my previous anon asks  mentioned that Evans’ fans knew from the start he might not make it because he had the play. So they knew that and they were expecting him not to come and they forgave him.

Still, he cancelled the Ace Comic Con. He agreed to it then cancelled it. So I can imagine people buying tickets just for him, in hopes of seeing him even IF they knew he was busy. If Evans KNEW he was busy with the theatre, how come he agreed to go to Ace Comic Con? Oh wait, is he still playing? Do we even know that?

So what it comes down to is that either 1) Chris is a big fat liar or 2) he hates cons and likes toying with his fans or 3) his crew doesn’t know how to schedule his work and apperances.

So you’re telling me that people DID get pissed with Evans and Ruffalo cancelling…! Ok I didn’t know that. 

Lol, if I talk about that part of Tom/Loki fans who hate on Chris I’ll be making an “us and them” statement again, won’t I? :-P Oh hell, let’s make that statement again.

If we exclude those rightfully outraged people who kinda lost their money on Chris, also those who got angry without attacking him, then yes, there’s a big part of Chris/Thor haters who will hate on Chris no matter what he does. Yes I do believe he should have been more careful with his scehduling, two cancellations in a row don’t make him look good. 

Still, I’m not convinced that some part of the fanbase is not here to shit on Chris just to praise Tom. I’m simply not convinced. Maybe it’s the same part of the fanbase who dragged Tom for Hiddleswift. They didn’t like Taylor (yeah I didn’t like her either) so they dragged Tom for it.

I have an interpretation for that, not that I know what they’re thinking, but here’s my two cents. They love Tom more. They like how Tom indulges them. They don’t like change or chaos, and between Tom and Chris, Chris is the agent of chaos, not Tom. He’s the one who’s unpredictable, maybe he has a crappy crew who doesn’t  know how to schedule his work, he does dangerous sports like surfing (Tom doesn’t) so he’s bound to get injured, also yes, having a family IS chaos. Once he was having a trip on the Himalayas with Elsa and although his body wasn’t adjusting to the temperature change he insisted they kept going. Elsa noticed how he wasn’t breathing properly when he was sleeping and she slapped him out of it, practically forcing him to abandon the trip and… not die.

You see, Chris is chaos itself, Tom isn’t, and people don’t like chaos. People like predictability and comfort zones.

And you expect entitled fans to like Chris?… You must always remember that there are fans who think they own celebrities, and they think they own Tom. This is why they dragged him for Taylor, he wasn’t doing what they wanted him to. He was chaos for one moment in his life.

So what I’m saying is, Tom is easier to own because he does everything people expect him to (and kudos to him because he’s a great professional).

But you simply cannot own Chris. Chris has a different way of life, a different agenda, and people simply cannot live with that. Because comfort.

As for “hating one part of the Hiddlesworth pairing”, let’s just say that some people like to use Chris as Tom’s dildo. They like the chemistry (Tom doesn’t have that chemistry with anyone else), Chris is cute and close to Tom (Tom never stops reminding us how much he loves him) and they want to wax poetic about Tom, so they use Chris as their proxy. Same goes for some Thorki fans who hate on Thor (YES IT HAPPENS). They pick favourites and that’s fine, at the same time yes, how can they possibly hate one half of the pairing? Well, it’s because they like comparisons, and some people feel they’re only just as good as their idol (Tom), and if their idol is not “better than anyone else”, then he’s no good, know what I’m saying? Insecurities.

Chris doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone (unlike Tom who cares a lot about what people think), so how can they possibly relate to that?

OVERVIEW ー

in a small, rural town in montana, the ever growing sokolov family welcomed brynn last. she was the youngest of nine children and has a lot of issues okay.

her parents were bible-thumping church goers that loved god a lot more than they loved their children and the eldest boy  -  noah sokolov ended up raising the kids on his own. he was basically the dad and we all stan noah in this house.

they were poor, living on the outskirts of the rural town in a run down three bedroom house that definitely didn’t fit them all. brynn shared a room with two girls, the twins that were born a couple years before her. they were siblings, but they basically tormented her all her life and she wasn’t having it.

grew up with scraps and crappy clothes, she never really had anything new and she didn’t ???? care mostly. mostly.

with the help of noah, brynn began playing volleyball when she was seven. she showed true passion and skill for the sport, so he enrolled her in out of school clubs and teams and was her #1 fan throughout it all.

when she was twelve, noah was twenty-one and ended up passing away. he was on his way to pick her up from practice and was involved in a head-on collision with a drunk driver. he was killed on impact and brynn’s life fell apart because she was closest to noah.

anyway, long story short, she ran away.

at twelve, found herself in california, not knowing anyone or anything except how to play volleyball and how to kick a bitch’s ass because she was always wrestling with her sisters. found herself in a lot of teen homes and shelters, always saying her mom was coming to get her and lying to get her way.

was taken in by a young couple that found her diving in the dumpster behind their cute little restaurant and they raised her basically from then. she told them her name of course, but goes by abner. the couple tried to find her real parents, but the abner family was nowhere to be found because mmm they weren’t really the abner family, they were the sokolov family but shh don’t tell them.

basically was passed off as their niece and nobody??? questioned it??? except the government honestly, but they??? got away with it because that’s a plot hole i have yet to complete i’m sorry.

noticing her talent for volleyball, they enrolled her again in a club team and that’s where she was kinda scouted ig?? she was contacted by a coach at redwood and recruited basically as an athlete.

started there her sophomore year and instantly learned that reputation mattered. she climbed ranks quickly, using her manipulative attitude and sly tactical advantage. she was pretty and underestimated and most people just thought she played volleyball, but she was so much more.

still goes by just abner, but is a two-faced snake who lays on the top tier somehow because if anyone comes for her she’s a whole ass bitch and will gladly ruin someone’s life for fun.
