THIS IS A LONG ASK BUT ITS NICE SO PLEASE DONT BLOCK ME!! Im too scared to come off anon but i wanted to say that i followed you since you were peachmilktea with 200 followers and i am like weirdly proud of how far you’ve grown. I know i don’t know you and thats the weird part but I remember when you started posting about lykaia and would only get a few likes (me being one of them 💀) and its really nice to see how far you’ve come now in just a few months. I struggle with depression and watching lykaia has helped me feel better and gave me some comfort. and i wont say copy because its not copying but Ive the influence i guess you’re had with some other creators and not in like a mean way but I just think that its cool. i saw ashleyplays post about you on twitter and it was nice to see my two favorite creators talk about inspiring each other. its made me want to try different stuff out in my own game and especially with reshade I hadn’t tried it before you mentioned how easy it is to make presets. Every interaction ive had with you has always been really nice so I just wanted to tell you I appreciate you and your content. And I hope you post a new build soon too!! xx

Oh my goodness! This has me bawling so if there’s some typos that autocorrect can’t fix, know that’s why. First off, the way I wanna know who you are soooooo bad! But I’ll respect your anonymity lol. If you’ve been here since peachmlktea then you were a day one for sure! That was like August of last year lol. And as someone who also deals with depression, I am so so so glad and happy Lykaia provides you with even an ounce of comfort. The whole reason I even make the show is because it helps me cope, so I’m so glad that it helps you out too.

And the influence thing.. eh I won’t touch on that at all. I’m a quick learner lol. I won’t miss the mark again. So, I won’t take credit for that. I couldn’t anyway. This community is filled to the brim with talented and creative people. Always has been prior to me jumping into content creation and will always continue to do so. EA gave us the bones of this game and everyone just said “Bet. Watch what I do with it”. But yeah that interaction with her was amazing! Its always nice when people whose work you admire tell you they admire yours. She’s lovely! I have nothing but respect for her and her craft. My personal stuff aside, a lot of creators in the community have been really cool like that. The creators hype each other up pretty often. We bicker like siblings every 3 business days, but we’re good for acknowledging each other too lol. And yesss! I’m a reshade girly fr now. It makes the game feel new every time you use/make a new preset. It’s a fun program to play around with.

But I am so grateful and thankful to you! This was one of the sweetest messages I’ve ever received. You absolutely made my day with this. And if you ever feel comfy coming off anon, message me privately!

LOL okay so one time i walked in on my cousins watching xmen the last stand during the scraping scene at the beginning and i was SOOOO scared i got nightmares,, i frightened super easily as a kid lol..

but the first actual "scary" movie i remember seeing (besides scooby doo movies which did not scare me! idk if they were supposed to be scary to kids really) was hocus pocus <3 still for kids but it's got a zombie and whatever. i think i was in 3rd grade? i loved it immediately and i still do :3 from that Halloween i would get so excited to watch it every year

OH maybe the Ritual!!! I love that movie, ive watched it multiple times, and i didnt like the book as much, so id say it's a great adaptation. but i think it is in part because i saw the movie first, so my imagination was restricted to the preset imagery and stuff.

Ah and if you consider the Name of the Rose to be horror, that one too!!! -w- love it

There are many books that i WISH would be made into films because i think they would be amazing... like why is there no Zofloya, the castle of Otranto, Dark Matter, the Silence of the Sea, etc etc etc as films??? im sure many films have been inspired by these, and many movies i love are inspired by other novels, but tsk tsk not the same

thank you so much! I'm so glad you like them, they make me so happy and I'm glad I can spread some of that. I'm going to link you to some of my all time favorite occult cc creators and a few of my favorite pieces

first and foremost, @pyxiidis

I can not underestimate how important their cc is to making occult sims in my opinion. I have every single set they've ever made in my game, but my favorites are intergalactic + interstellar (alien markings !!), devils backbone for zombies, and these fangs which i use on so many of my occult babies

the next creator I'll list is @zaneida-and-sims4! I found this creator more recently but I am in LOVE with their creativity and amazing cc pieces. Some of my favorites are these tentacle antennas, ear branches (I'm making a plantsim w these right now they're amazing), and the squid head!

next is @ssspringroll, who has some of the most amazing presets ive ever seen and has also made my all time favorite set of antennae that I use on basically every alien I make! I'm such a big fan of their cc

and last but not least, for pets, everything by liamsims!

As a bonus, if you're ever putting together an occult save, you should grab this AWESOME pack of cc free occults by @helloavocadooo! I love them so much and I put them into my Del Soul Valley save recently and I'm having fun

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? none, id like them to fix the game we already have 😘 but if i had to ig faeries for gamepack, travel for expansion (with 3 decent worlds & hotels plz) and literally any stuff pack so they can say they didnt lie to us about it 🤡

Final Fantasy IV is the least Final Fantasy of all the main series games should not be a controversial statement, but it for some stupid reason it still is.

While it lacks moogles (with hummingways being reconned to look like a cross between them and rabbits in the later remakes), it has all the cosmetic tropes of the franchise down pat.  Story-driven gameplay, often hard to follow rabbit trails of a story, themes of death and rebirth, themes of nature vs. technology, the summons/phantom beasts, etc. However, it lacks one thing that is critically important to all other games in the main line and is the core defining factor of the single best game in the franchise (tactics).

In-depth character customization: You don’t get to control your class, or your abilities. At all. The class changes are story events, and most of the them they’re just power ups that add new spells to the character’s spell list. The one that isn’t is a full on reclassing, but it’s unskippable. It’s another story event. The DS/iOS remake goes to make fit a bit better with augments, but that is just one version of the single most re-released game Squenix has ever made. The PSP’s complete collection, which IMO is the best version of the game, does not include that.

Worst part is in every thread this comes up in noone can actually name a game in the main series that is less Final Fantasy than IV. But still pretend like saying that IV is the least is somehow wrong.

Mind you FFIV is my single most favorite videogame of all time. I’ve played it more times than I care to admit. I’ve recreated rare glitches on hardware, I used to have a rated score for an Any% no glitch speedrun. But that is why this matters to me. I know this game in and out.
