I was curious to see what type of villagers our dnd party would be, and with the party's input, I drew this. 😊 from left to right, meet Hope the sheep villager, Greg the pig villager, Ordrick the bear villager, Artemis the badger villager, Pestilence the deer villager and Call the cat villager. I also tried drawing and adapting the #AnimalCrossingNewHorizons logo to apply to our campaign and party name. I used references of the game for the background, logo and how the animal villagers were drawn in the game. Overall, I had quite some fun working on this drawing ☺. We’re on the road to Chapter 1.

Special thanks go to Oliver Moore who joins us again in working on Chapter 1, where his hard work will provide the beautiful score to this episode of our story. You can listen to his other work (including the High Hopes Theme) on his SoundCloud (soundcloud.com/mercurymusic-4) and his Instagram, @mercuryolie This would be a much harder and slower process without him, and the final product would be nowhere near as good.

We consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have an audience both so patient and so kind. You have waited an awful long time for this episode and I can say with confidence that it will be worth the wait. Alex (@abdillustrates), our illustrator and Amy (@bin_witch_illustration), our colourist have been hard at work producing beautiful frames, just like this one. So far this episode has taken over 200 hours of work, which we have had to fit in around full time jobs, moving, and family - this is why we only just now find ourselves coming towards the end of the process.
