Brooklyn, NY, 1951 - Summer was coming to an end and my 16th birthday was just around the corner. Mama had been planning a party for me and daddy, well, he refused to see me as anything other than his baby girl. Our brownstone was one of the nicest three family buildings on the block. We lived in this building my entire life and although mama always wanted to move to the suburbs, daddy's job and stubborn will to be a city man didn't put it in the cards for us.

Daddy always started his morning the same, coffee, a bowl of cereal and the freshly printed paper that would hit our door at precisely 6AM everyday when the paperboy would throw it from his bike in passing. Mama was always the first one up. I never understood how she was so put together and had our breakfast waiting by the time we came downstairs with a smile on her face. She had the most comforting smile.

Louann: Dear, would you go get June, her eggs are gonna get cold.

Daddy folded his paper and put it under his upper arm and did as mama said.

Daddy wasn't too fond of the Brown brothers that lived next door. Their dad had passed away in the war a few years back right before it had ended and their mama was a bit of a free spirit, causing them boys to be as well. They were twins, but you wouldn't know it until they told you so.

Danny leaned onto my shoulder, they had just gotten home from spending their summer at their grandma's house out in the suburbs.

Rebecca stumbled upon Dreadhorse Caverns while out riding.

She explored as much as she could as afternoon turned to night, but eventually she stumbled across a trap and had to leave, she made some good progress though. Solaris wondered off a little but returned after a quick call of his name. How long was she in that cavern? It felt like such a short time.

She'll have to return soon.

El legado de los Lee asciende al clan de los Alquimios, regido por una Matriarca Shin-Yi Lee quien con Abernathi Salmon, fueron los encomendados para fundar esta casa de la magia. Shin-Yi fue ministra en el consejo de los Tres y desarrollo la pócima revitalizante que subía las necesidades al máximo.

Shin-Yi y Abernathi cumplieron con la posta de los tres, que pedía a los regentes de cada clan que deberían tener 3 hijos, de los cuales el primer hijo cuyo sexo fuera el mismo que el del regente, debía heredar el control de la casa y el puesto de ministro en el consejo.

Shin-Yi dió a luz un primogénito barón Radzma Lee

Después dió a luz a su segundo hijo Hiro Lee

Pero fue hasta su tercera hija Dal-me Lee quien pudo heredar el Matriarcado.

El consejo de los Tres establecía el papel de los otros dos hijos quienes no heredaban la regencia, el mayor de esos dos debía dedicarse a la erudición del clan ( en este caso la Alquimia), no podría cambiar de facción ni el ni sus descendientes, además de que debían casarse con un miembro de la misma facción. El siguiente debía forjar alianzas que protegieran el legado de su casa ( es decir a la hermana o hermano que heredan el clan).

Podrían contraer matrimonio con miembros de otras facciones, con alianzas que les permitieran mantener el orden dentro del consejo, y lo mismo para sus descendientes.

En el caso de la muerte del heredero y este no tuvo hijos o no tuvo un hijo del mismo sexo del regente, la regencia pasaba al pariente directo del mismo sexo del regente.

Llamando linaje ancestral a aquella sucesión que paso de regente a hijo por más de 3 generaciones ininterrumpidas.

Muchas veces el legado de matriarca estaba asegurado debido a la presencia de hermanos dentro de la triada, quienes respetaban y protegían la regencia.

El verdadero problema estaba cuando había más de un posible heredero a la regencia...

Tory and Marie met in their last year of college. They had an instant connection and immediately began dating.

Marie was fresh out of her three year relationship with LaShawn who was aboard working at a law firm in London. The two had broken up over their views on marriage and Marie was not interested in dating anyone at the time she met Tory.

Tory was full of ideals and dreams of the future. He was ambitious and determined to complete his ten year plan. His only focus was starting his own record label. A place where artists could be creatively free to express themselve. He had no room for a relationship, but Marie was like no other.

The two sat for hours and studied, they fed off of the others' drive and being together made them each work harder.  They were inseparable and just three months after graduation they were married.

Marie was accepted to Viola Davis Law school, one of the top schools in the country. They moved into a small studio apartment in San Myshuno. Tory worked in an office during the day and all night to build his label. 

Marie excelled in law school. She completed her degree a semester early and was offered a first year associate position at Pope and Associates. 

Two years later together they signed their first artist Shots, a young kid out of the hood with undeniable talent. They took Dynasty Records from their living room to the board room. Creating one of the most successful labels of all times. They were an unstoppable team, so what happened.

SÁBADO NO BARZINHO WOODSTOCK

O Conjunto COHAB ganhou um barzinho e sua inauguração foi show com a presença dos moradores que se reuniram para um bom papo, tomar uns bons drinks, ouvir música e dar boas risadas. A galera se divertiu bastante. O Bar Woodstock promete ser o novo point.

Apesar de ser um bar mais voltado pra galera alternativa, que curte o bom e velho rock n' roll, teve a presença até de quem não é muito chegado no ritmo, só pelo ótimo atendimento e ambiente agradável. Gary, que curte rock, também curtiu o lugar e já chegou bem animado pra aproveitar a noite com os amigos.

Os adolescentes, Gabriela e Adrian também foram tomar um suco e comer um lanche. Chegaram animados, se cumprimentaram de boa, mas depois começaram a se incomodar travessamente. Os dois estudam no mesmo colégio e passam o dia implicando um com o outro, o que no final acaba gerando um clima ruim entre os dois.

E foi o que aconteceu. Gabriela chegou em casa e foi direto escrever no seu diário pra desabafar a raiva que estava sentindo de Adrian, enquanto ele continuou no barzinho com uma cara péssima por ter discutido com ela e acabou ficando sozinho. Nem só de alegrias foi a inauguração do Woodstock.

In her early 40s, a willful Taurus. Mother of four and amazing wife.

Currently on her 2nd marriage to her true love, Dr. Luther Salgado. She came into the relationship with 3 children, one of whom she adopted from her "for life" stepdaughter, even if her and her father did divorce, after she decided that was going to give her baby the best life possible. After marriage they decided they wanted to raise one more. Pregnancy was not an option for Blair, as she had it rough with her first two. Adoption it was. But adoption made no difference for Blair and Luther, they were all loved the same.

Blair has had a few careers that she absolutely excelled at, one being the top realtor in Windenburg for several years. In the last few years of that she worked from home any chance she got, rarely meeting clients face to face so she could spend all the time she could with her family. After her parents passed; she knew how important that time was. The working part of her life ended and with money not a worry, she decided it was time to put away the "For Sale" signs permanently. Now that her childrearing days are over and the kids are growing up, she spends most of her days taking walks and cooking wonderful meals for her family. Though the excitement of a new career is tempting her. Luther still works long hours, as there are always lives to be saved but he carves out time in his day to check on her and tell her he loves her.

Blair in her 20s would never have dreamt of this life, she thought she wasn't worth love. She knows better now.

A Chill Day...and Then - Sabrina’s Story P.T. 4

Sabrina had so much fun meeting her neighbors the other day. Her new bestie, June, even decided to stop by the house to hang out! They really get along quite well. Kind of wish Plato had a “Story of Friendship” similar to his “Story of Love”; It would describe Sabrina and June’s relationship perfectly! 

June even feels comfortable enough using Sabrina’s computer. Sabrina doesn’t seem to mind much, especially since she is busy eating. Probably should be careful about letting this food go to her hips! 

Their friendship was even strong enough to withstand Neighborhood Brawl Day. No hard feelings, June! Its just a holiday. 

June and Sabrina decided to wrap the day up at the lounge. To Sabrina’s surprise, the lounge was doing their weekly talent showcase! Sabrina has been working on her comedy. She isn’t a professional by any means, but she thinks she is pretty funny. Sabrina decided to join the festivities and it was there that she saw...him. A sexy sim cheering her on from the front row. 

It was that night when she met Marco Sorini. He was so dreamy with all of his piercings and tattoos. Not Sabrina’s usual type, but the fact that he was Italian was a really big turn on! She definitely has a thing for a man whose name is derived from the Roman God, Mars. Time to make a move!
