I don't know if this has been asked already but how would the Dork Squad + Harley go about taking their s/o on a date? Could be a first date or in general, I'm not picky ^^

I’ve done Jervis already, here! (It was for a Male!Reader, but it also works with any sort of Reader in mind, really.)

Jonathan Crane:

Most dates are quiet, and you hardly ever leave the comfort of your own home. Jonathan might be smart, but he’s never been on many dates in his life (if any), so he has no idea about what he’s “supposed” to do.

If you do manage to drag him out of the house, you’re going to have to be the one taking the lead during this date. Which is fine with him, Jon likes seeing you happy and in your element, even if it’s new for him.

Your first date was definitely the funniest. Jonathan treated the whole thing like he was taking you to Senior Prom. He was dressed to the 9′s, brought you flowers, the whole shebang. You still tease him about it.

Edward Nygma:

Most of your dates involve Eddie taking you out to fancy parties and galas that double as business-meetings. You sometimes feel more like eye/arm-candy than his partner, with the way that the people there treat you.

Still, he wants the evening to be as enjoyable for the both of you as possible. So, whenever he has a chance to sneak away from the big-wigs, he’ll steal a dance or two from you. (And a few kisses as well.)

Your first date was actually pretty standard. He took you out to a nice restaurant, and you spent the whole evening talking over dinner. Compared to the stuffy parties and formal meetings, it was much nicer.

Harley-Quinn:

All of your dates involve you going out somewhere. Amusements parks, movies, plays, any sort of big event that Gotham is holding, Harley is dragging you there, and you’re not leaving without some sort of souvenir(s).

She has. So many pictures of all of your dates. From the first, to the latest. On her social media. In scrapbooks. Posted all over the walls. Her place is just brimming with cute photos of you two. Honestly, it’s adorable.

Harley was so excited for your first date that she nearly got sent back to Arkham for it. See, there was this big “thing” going on that she wanted to take you to, but she couldn’t get in for...obvious reasons. So, she decided to break the two of you in! And, uh. Yeah, you’re banned for life. Still. Good times.

Ok so, I had a crush on him even as a kid. I’ve always loved musical villains so it was only a matter of time before I developed a crush.

I rediscovered him earlier this year and all those feelings came back full force. I love redheads and he is just so handsome to me. And he’s a big theatre nerd (like me) and is a dramatic lad so that only made the crush worse. I just think he’s great and very cute.

EDIT: I’m also and actor/voice actor now so that doesn’t help my (unbridled) love for him.

He finds your air-headed sensibilities quite adorable. You really would just float away without him there to keep you grounded. Which is a duty that he’ll take on wholeheartedly, so long as he gets to be with you.

The fact that you’re so earnest just adds to the charm. He doesn’t mind explaining things to you, especially when he gets to see the way your eyes light up once you actually understand what’s going on.

If he finds a joke or innuendo a bit too tasteless, he’ll just let it go over your head. If you question it, he’ll try to quickly redirect the conversation away from the topic with a gentle, “Don’t worry about it, my dear!”

Jonathan Crane + Ditzy!S/O HCs:

Sometimes he feels like he’s back in the classroom. Not that that’s a bad thing, of course. The familiarity of teaching comes to him easily, which is why it doesn’t take long for you to catch onto things with him around.

He can’t help but let a smile slip through when you finally catch on, eyes shining with understanding and excitement at finally ‘getting it.’ You really do bring out a side of him that he hasn’t acknowledged in a long time.

When a particularly “dirty” joke happens to come along, he can’t help but choke up a bit when explaining it. There’s just something about the way you stare at him, so innocently, that makes him feel oddly nervous.

Something that’s been on my mind!!

So like, with Repo, he def has been in relationships before. More experienced with them than me. But I don’t think he’s been with someone that’s quite....like me I guess? Kinda hard to explain...

But one thing that comes on my mind is, Repo, at first, doesn’t think too much about us and our affection. If I ask to hold him then he’s like “Oh! Sure!” Happy but also like “ya don’t have to ask?” and it doesn’t really hit him till later about how much this little action means to me.

He really just appreciates how much I value our relationship, even the little things! It’s something he’s never really thought about and I kinda give him a new perspective.

Sorry, I’m not exactly the best when it comes to phrasing this stuff but I hope it makes sense!!
