My Opinions on the Moon Signs

(Btw I’m going to reply soon, sorry life and work has been very busy this June ;0)

Aries moon- The definition of passionate. They can be outgoing and a lot of fun. Definitely super charismatic people. Determinators (more than Aries sun sometimes imo), they’re going to get what they want done. They also really hate not being listened to or treated as the leaders in the room. When they’re mad they get passive aggressive asf and so pissy. Every Aries moon I’ve known has basically refused to be personable while they’re upset. No matter if they were older or younger than me (my grandfather was an Aries moon). They’re loud when they’re happy and loud then distressingly quiet when they’re upset. They stay mad until they decide not to be mad anymore. Then they’ll never talk about it again and be so jovial you could never guess they were upset 2 minutes ago. Good time friends and great at entertaining a crowd though.

Taurus moon- I’m biased bc my partner has this and I love them :0. Softies. They’re grounded and caring, like no one will help soothe you more than a Taurus moon. They’re really giving but it depends what they feel resource rich in. Like if they have a lot of control over their time they’ll spend days on you. But if they grew up during constant instability and financial stress they have a hard time being flexible with giving money or moving house or things like that. They’ll come around if you can show them that they can keep their physical safety. In fact, I think it’s easiest to change a Taurus moon’s mind out of all the fixed moons (in my experience).Also, They really like it when you call them on their shit and shoot straight with them. Gemini moon- I don’t have a ton of experience here. Chatty but keep more to themselves than Gemini suns. Only shows you certain parts of themselves, they always have a lot on their minds. The poster child overthinkers of the zodiac (and virgo moons too ofc). Funny tho, always a sense of humor and philosophy about just about every situation.

Cancer moon- Sweethearts. Exalted placement for a reason. Really good at sensing problems/insecurities and putting words to them. They can catch crushes easily. They need to get as much validation as they give. Like a lot. That’s one of their emotional love languages. Can be comforting or very manipulative it depends on how developed they are. One of the most creative people I ever met was a cancer moon, they were super talented and recieved a lot of praise for their great work. A sweetheart that had a lot of creative hobbies and was close to their family. Daydreamed quite a bit, but no more than any other water sign placement.

Leo moon- They don’t need to be the center of attention as often as people think, but they do need to be listened to. It means a lot to them. Can be really aggressive as kids for a period of time then they grow into themselves and can be pretty chill. Maybe a bit too chill about things they aren’t passionate about. They light up when they’re excited though. Also, they can be super competitive, like they can get in their feelings about losing at something they’re trying to show off in. (Like a video game or team sport or what have you)

Virgo moon- Very thoughtful and insightful people. They’re able to pick through and see little imperfections in people that others can not. Whether they use those powers for good or evil is truly up to them. (I have had many friends use this power for good and a relative or two use this power for evil). Everyone I’ve met with this placement has been so seriously beautiful and so aesthetically put together, idk how they do it. Doesn’t love to be called on their shit lol, you must be gentle with criticism unless you know them very very well. But they have a lot that’s on their mind and a bit they’re insecure about so you may accidentally start beef by saying something. But super perceptive people, a delight to gossip with (mercurial moons love to bond over gossip) and they have great ideas. If you have a problem to solve or analyze they’ll often have a set of solutions.

Libra moon- don’t know a ton of them. Not super well anyway. They can be very intelligent and understand a lot about the things they like. And they bluff/charm their way through everything else. Most likely to act differently around different people to try to be the person they think whoever they’re talking to will like.

Scorpio moon- usually very goth/dark style, or they’re drawn to it. Usually just radiate intensity. But also more detached from more situations than I expect every time? They have had a lot of emotional hardships growing up and so they kind of expect to get hurt again by those they’re close to. It’s like a callous for them. If they let you in you’re very special. The developed ones are such sweethearts. Knew a manipulative one that was underdeveloped and crazy tho ngl. Like that person seemed violent and like they wanted to burn the world to feel warm. So either very sweet and stand-offish or just destructive asl.

Sagittarius moon- not my cleanest set of experiences ngl. If you’re like having a good time with one then they’re funny and can be the life of the party. Can also not know how to be emotionally supportive, but will attempt it. But my mom was my bad experience and there was a lot of explosive anger at little things mixed with being immature about others emotions. Throwing a book across the room because she didn’t understand what her (post grad) homework was or coming home angry and yelling after a bad day of work without so much as saying hi. And a lot of being mad at me and other kids for not being instantly emotionally soothed yknow? Like if I needed to sit in silence and process that would tick her off and set off a chain reaction. Explosive anger. Also forcing themselves to laugh loudly after an argument to feel better (Aries moon grandfather did this too I don’t get it). This is mainly underdeveloped energy though. I had a friend with this moon placement and they had a hard time processing their emotions and would usually breakdown for a moment then get back up again. Also people with this placement tend to get most romantically interested in unavailable people imo.

Capricorn moon- me! And a lot of people I connected with briefly and deeply. Having terrible mothers and bonding over it lol. High standards for others even higher standards for themselves. Seems emotionally distant but will break down and cry when they feel safe and are probably alone. And they have a playlist for feeling sad I bet. You either are someone that they tell when they cry or you never know. Has to work out of seeing emotions they were shamed for as a sign of weakness. Gifts are their love language and if they can’t find the words to tell you how they feel about you they will often buy you something you mentioned you always wanted or something you needed off hand. Sentimental types, trouble right expressing it. Will talk to you about everything if they like you and nothing if they don’t. Capricorn placement most likely to go into isolation mode to really consider their relationships and place in life. Might grow suddenly distant if they feel neglected or betrayed. Underdeveloped ones are removed from their emotions in a dangerous way and in denial about all the healing they need to do.

Aquarius moon- also another set of messy personal experiences. Can come up with really out of the box solutions. Seem to either be revolutionary or very very conservative. Like most of the Aquarius moons I’ve known have been men so grain of salt but they would be the ones to most constantly say “a good woman does x” or “if you have that attitude you won’t get married” or throw shade on “girly” hobbies. You can’t change their mind. Even if you present evidence or a sound argument, hardest to get through to of all the fixed signs imo. Sometimes they’ll come back having changed their own mind. Maybe they googled whatever you said and started to believe you. But they’re not going to say you changed their mind. It’s something that they have to believe they made themselves come around on. They often have an independent sense of right and wrong. Sometimes very intelligent, sometimes just bluffing their way through it. Always will respond to opinions though. Can be really funny people, sometimes on accident. Allergic to routine and desk jobs. Usually… detached. Like if they care about you, they’re going to express it in an abstract or private way. Can be hard to tell if they care at all in my personal experiences ngl. My dad is an underdeveloped Aquarius moon and he’d often tell me to swallow my emotions and repress them and go with the way things were. (I don’t talk to my parents anymore lol, they’re narcissistic people)

Pisces moon- I’ve only known a few personally. Sometimes really surprisingly basic. Sometimes they’re just made of magic and they see the world in a whole different way. Emotionally in-tuned with people around them. If their environment is misanthropic then they’re more likely to be. If their environment is upbeat then they’re more likely to be. Most likely to grow up to be like their family/peers but assume they’re not imo. Sentimental with the folks they’re close to.

i made this before i even saw the stardew valley take. and when i did post a take on it it it didn't use names and censored the names in the post i showed. as for it being a "targeted harassment campaign" my inital post only got like 70 notes before i deleted it and i didn't really expect she'd see it all. it wasn't until i woke up with death threats in my inbox that i realized she found out she saw it.

and i'm not saying i received death threats to try to garner sympathy, death threats are bad obviously, but even people who deserve to be harshly criticized receive death threats, doesn't mean they deserve it, but it doesn't suddenly make other criticism invalid. i'm mentioning said death threats because i genuinely would of not have made any more posts discussing this if i wasn't informed anyone important actually saw it.

i'm not sure how popular txttletale is, she regularly get's posts in the 20k but to be so do i sometimes? although most of my posts about this situation only get like 40 to 200 notes which them being split by positive and negative engagement, while her posts about the situation seem to get around 1k to 3k notes with most of them being positive? so it seems more people generally agree with her than me, which isn't to say that automatically "makes me in the right" or "the underdog" but you can see why i feel the need to defend myself and "double down" right?

it's the blatantly racist nazi and outright white supremacist blogs that face little to zero consequences, flying under the block/report radar, posting the most disturbing shit i've seen in my life, followed by memes. fair enough, there's no real action taken by staff (from what i can tell), but there's absolutely no coordinated effort made by the userbase to drive them away either (too alienating?). there's nothing like shinigami eyes for nazis/white supremacists/fascists/what-have-you. it isn't Nearly as common for blog headers to tell nazis to stay away, or for users to compile/update fascist blocklists, or warn others that they reblogged from a white supremacist. it's nbd, somehow. i've reported Tons of blogs for overt hate speech and damn near nothing happens to those 1488ers. it straight up isn't a priority, not for staff and not for a substantial chunk of this userbase. there's this clear discrepancy (to me) which allows nazis to thrive and their posts to "break containment". so long as you're "funny" ig.

My take in Cross-X/Leo in relationships

are you a Cross-X/Leo enjoyer? well here's my take if Leo were in relationships for some weird reason.

First and foremost, Leo would avoid people entirely if he could. However, he can't, but he'd have his guard up entirely. Leo would be reserved, would be sure not to seem too vulnerable, and he just wouldn't trust people in general, having dealt with people in school, his uncle, his cousin, his aunt (who I still have mixed feelings for) and the nurse (will be explained later), he's fucked up to the point he'd just avoid it entirely. I also LOVE mugs with wacky messages on them, would much rather recieve a weird $2 mug from the thrift store than a $17 one that's like impersonal with mass appeal bc it's bland if that makes sense. also, SOCKS!!!!!!!! i love to read so ppl always give me books but like......i usually don't like reading them unless i pick them myself so i really don't like recieving them bc then i just feel very guilty. same goes with clothes.... Also, i LOVE food gifts. A thing of tea, or cookies, or spices, or some kind of fancy chocolate i'd never buy myself??????????? LOVE that. I tend to give tons of homemade food gifts like a growler of kombucha, a tin of unique homemade cookies, homebrewed vinegar or homemade jam and stuff like that :-) i find that ppl pretty much universally love them and it fits with my sense of anticonsumerist ethics very well. But overall i REALLY just hate the idea that you are oblidged to purchase shit for every single person in your life in december. it's a ton of pressure and you're bound to both give and recieve things that just don't mean anything..........ahhh sorry for the rant. but it's getting better now that i'm older.

initially, nightowl is ecstatic. finally, you're quitting your stupid job! you don't have to work long hours anymore and you can finally rest. maybe even pull all-nighters with him! he expressed his excitement in vc and chat everytime, telling you how happy he was that you were doing this.

but on one of those nights he just lays down and looks at the ceiling to contemplate life, it hits him like a shit ton of bricks. you're quitting your job? do you have another job that could help you? you mentioned you don't live with your family anymore -- how were you going to pay your bills? your taxes? what if you didn't have access to the internet and one day logged out of the server forever? he immediately goes online to spam ping you, wanting to know if you at least had a back up plan. now he's really anxious.

you would have to reassure quest a bunch of times. he hates that your job overworks you, of course. and is he happy you're quitting? definitely. he'd throw a party if he could. but he can't help but worry; would you be okay?

quest himself had a hard time getting the job he currently has due to his record, so he probably worries the most out of everyone. though, no matter if you decided to quit because of personal reasons, or other, he is there to support you all the way. he wouldn't force you to take a new job. heck, he'd probably ask toasty to remove the censor so he could send you money so you don't have to work any more. (when he said that, you laughed and told him how very "discord mod" of him to do that. he doesn't understand)

toasty probably was the one who wrote the resignation letter for you. even before you quit; they just had it in their folder on their desktop. just in case. when you mention to them that you're thinking of quitting, toast already copied and pasted the letter in your private chat. and you could only gape in amusement.

toast supports you 100%. they know you're rational and wouldn't leave if you knew it would be bad for you. day after day your vcs with them would always include you complaining about work, and they knew it was only a matter of time before you quit. you find it adorable how it was them who ended up reassuring you that it would be okay instead of the other way around.

you tell xyx in a call. just dropped the bomb and said, "I'm quitting my job." out of the blue in the middle of a pause in the conversation. you expected him to be surprised. wanted him to be surprised, for once. but instead, he just hummed and continued the conversation.

no surprise that xyx would catch on and tease you by not giving you the reaction you wanted. he smirked, and you can see cat climbing on the shelf behind him, "considering my offer as my secretary, doll?"

onion is assured. like toasty, he knows you. you're smart, so he knows (or at the least, hopes) this decision was carefully thought through. and that you had a backup job, or money to keep you going until you get a new one.

despite that, though, he'd still be sure to ask you. let's you know and reassures you that if you ever need help with anything you could always ask him. he'd also probably send you money as well. hey, he worked all those jobs to support his family -- and you're his family too, you know?

Dream Team roomates x gn!reader Summary: Youre playing a scary game and your roommates come in to laugh at you support you. Warnings: swearing, shitty description of bloody/creepy things. lmk when you find any! A/N: just watched Tommy’s fnaf stream and i died. If you have any tips, requests or ideas, feel free to send them in :)

Starting up Twitch with hesitation as you check your subscriber count one last time to be sure. You reached your subgoal on your last stream and promised the chat to play a spooky game. Playing mostly family friendly games and usually with a group of friends, you weren’t exactly excited to be playing 2017′s Resident Evil 7. Clips from Jack and Felix only made you dread this moment even more. Appearantly your chat loves seeing you scared shitless.

You start your stream as you normally would: greating the chat, answering some dono’s. “I actually hate you guys for making me do this. But we’re gonna try it anyways. I have a slight idea what’s coming and am mentally not prepared, so let’s see how long I will last before crapping my pants.” You force a smile at your camera and start the game.

The first hour was doable, a couple of jumpscares and some bloody stuff. A few of the jumpscares made you squeal, while the disgusting cutscenes made you want to throw up. Losing your focus on the game as you read some of the dono’s. A lot of them were about the game and people wishing you a good stream. A couple of questions about the Dream Team popped up. “What is George up to? I think he might be streaming as well I’m not -” The loud noise in your headphones, accompanied by a bloody faces canabal with a chainsaw made you shriek, followed by a ton of swear words and you taking of your headphones, rolling your chair away from your desk.

As you sit a couple of feet away from your desk you hear a door closing and footsteps in the hallway. You open your door and call out. “Gogy?” Your chat can’t hear the boy answering you. “You busy? No? Want to join my suffering? Yeah ofcourse you do, bring a chair!” The dark haired boy walks into your room rolling his chair in, a tad too excited. Your chat went insane, seeing him come through the door.

“You already died? Damn, N/N.” He teased, sitting down next to you. His legs propped up on his chair, face popping in and out of the frame.

“Would you like to try, Gogy?” You mimicked his accent, causing George to lean back into his chair. “Alright, goodluck not dying.” He said in the saltiest voice he could. You put your headphones back on, plugging in a second pair for George and handing him the headphones. You continue playing the game, almost getting used to the disgustingness of the house.

“N/N, I have to agree with chat, seeing you being a scaredy cat is hilarious.” In the meantime you’re turning into Y/N “I am going to shit myself” Y/L/N. George just laughs at you while hanging out with the chat. Yet he too flinches at the jumpscares. “Guys, the reason you can’t see George right now is because he is a big pussy.” You laugh, recieving a soft punch to your arm in return.

Another half hour of you and George sitting on the edges of your chairs until Nick decides to have some fun. After hearing you yell a couple of times he’d tune into your stream. He waited for the right moment; you had just finished a cut scene and was wandering though the dark house that felt like a maze. The squeaky sound of the door opening made you lean back in your chair a bit more, as if something or someone would jump out of the room behind it.

The door behind you flew open with a loud bang, causing you and George to yielp. Followed by another jumpscare in the game. “Fuck you Sapnap, you little shit cunt fuck you-” You utter under your breath as you try your best not to die in game.

“Sapnap!” George whined. “What? I heard there was a party.” The boy stood in your doorframe, a cheeky grin covering his face. “Can I join?” He somewhat asked, already pulling out a chair to sit down besides you.

“Fine, but no more messing around or I’ll end the fucking stream guys.” Your chat excitedly greated him. Spamming you there will be a savepoint in a bit. “Alright guys I’m just gonna go for one more savepoint, if i don’t die from adrenaline overdose by then.”

The boys on your sides bickered while you were trying to find the way out. “Go left.” Nick hinted. “Don’t listen to him, N/N.” George told you. They were like some twisted kind of devil/angel pair on your shoulders. “Have you played this before Gogy?” Nick spat, looking over to the boy on the other side of you. “No, but they came from-” He tried to defend himself, before getting cut off. “That’s what I thought, leave it to the pro then.” 

Trusting Nick’s gut you followed his instruction and went left. The sound of your footsteps are accompanied by heavy breathing, you look around with the little light you have. When you don’t immediatly die and thank Nick for the advice. A loud noice makes you turn around as you watch some creepy dolls fall down. “The sounds are honestly the creepiest thing about this game.” You say, continuing to walk around the room, looking for clues. Nick watches you, unbothered by the scary sounds as he doesn’t have any headphones on. “Chat why do you keep spamming ‘DEATH’? I’m not dying, I am clearly a pro.” You say proudly, not being as scared and jumpy as you had been. Yet the grin appearing on Nick’s face is telling you you should be. Moments later it became clear why. A loud screech, followed by one of the residents running towards you holding an axe and piercing the weapon through your chest.

The boy next to you dies of laughter, panting as he tries to catch his breath. “Your face- oh my god you face.” You shake your head at the boy. “Why did I even trust you in the first place. I thought you knew where the exit was.” You say, a tiny bit dissapointed in yourself for falling for it, but also laughing as George almost falls out of his chair from laughter. “Oh, but I do know where the exit is.” Nick teases. You look the boy dead in the eye and start debating whether or not to continue the game.

“100 subs and they’ll continue.” George tells your chat. “Guys, no-” It only took a couple of seconds until the counter was halfway there.

"Let’s go, N/N, you heard the big man.” You look straight into your camera and sigh. Alt-tabbing to swearword at Clay on Discord before going back to the game. “I hate every single one of those 50 subs and Dream. One more savepoint and that’s it!” 

George nudges your arm, asking if Clay can join your little scary party. “Do I really need more critisism? What do we think chat? Spam 1 if you want Dream here, 2 if you don’t.” The chats start pouring in. “No, you’re supposed to spam 2 guys! Why aren’t you on my side. Argh, fine.” You shut your camera off and wait for Clay to come in. “No face reveal today guys.” George comments on your chat going crazy.

“You can sit on my lap Dream.” Nick said jokingly, tapping his lap. “I’d rather sit on George’s.” “No way.” The boys bicker back and forth. 

“Dream, get out of the frame I’m turning my camera back on.” The tall guy settles on your bed, being able to see your monitor and the two guys next to you.

“Why do you keep dying, N/N?” He teases as you respawn in game.

“Think you can do better?” You ask, taking a right this time.

“I know I can.” You hear him mutter from the bed behind you.

You press pause, taking your hand of the controller. “Alright guys, you're all talk, why don’t you give it a try huh.”

“Cause we like watching you suffer.” Clay answers. You look over to your roommates, each and every one of them grinning at you.

With a loud sigh you continue playing the game, causing a lot of giggles and teasing as you almost have a heart attack. Nick and Clay keep their commentary coming as George mainly focusses on your chat. You get to the savepoint and finally end the stream.

Turning around in your chair so you face Clay. “I really hate you guys, that was the scariest shit I’ve ever played.”

George rests his arm on your shoulder. “No you don’t.”

“You love us.” Nick adds.

K. The reason there’s so many threads exposing Jimin in the first place is because there’s always so much new material that arises. No other member has as much shit working against them. He constantly sets himself up because he’s simply not the angel you idiots paint him out to be. He truly is the weakest link of the group.

People try and bring up Jungkook’s scandals but at least the guy can actually sing. Sure he could do with sharing some of the spotlight in their songs but I’m pretty sure that 100% comes down to hybe calling the shots. How else do you explain Hoseok who can rap, sing, and dance constantly being sidelined in most of their group songs.

People try and bring up Yoongi and JJ but the sooner you all realize sampling =/= co-signing, the better off you’ll be. He wasn’t the first to sample someone controversial and he won’t be the last. Hybe could’ve explained it but instead chose to throw him under the bus by issuing a dumb apology with zero context. BTS would also be nothing without him.

People try and bring up Taehyung being cold but dude is as straightforward as can be. He’s not here for the shits. Him and Jin are probably the two that fuck with the company the most and do what they want. What’s there to be mad at? He isn’t a puppet so deal with it. Taehyung and Yoongi are also the two whose on screen and offscreen personalities are likely 1:1. What you see is what you get.

People try and bring up the racist/colorist things Namjoon has said but I promise you’ll never catch him slipping again. Who knows if he’s actually a changed man but that whole nature/art persona has done wonders for him. Along with Yoongi and Hoseok, he’s quite literally the backbone of BTS. Without these 3 the rest of the group would’ve never see the light of day.

Edit: Apparently Jin isn’t angelic because he’s said some things (what things? idk). Also Jin’s condom debacle? He’s a grown man and those were basically pre-debut days so that shouldn’t even be classified as a scandal to begin with. If you really think BTS have never been in any sort of romantic relationships 8+ into their career well then keep living in lala land. Jin also minds his business and stays to himself. Unlike some others.

Finally, as for Hoseok and Seokjin? These two are squeaky fucking clean. They’re the definition of class. Not only are they the two whose behaviors/attitudes/personalities get praised the most by people that have worked with BTS, they also never say any unnecessarily rude or harsh things to the other members. Even when a members says something uncalled for, they brush it off with a laugh. If BTS were children, Hoseok and Seokjin would be the most angelic and well-behaved ones. Hoseok is also the member that donates the most to charity and is known to support tons of great causes via the clothes he wears and figurines he collects.

If there’s any member that’s gotten the short of the stick in all this, it’s Hoseok. Some of the things the members have said/done to him could be classified as grade-A bullying. I’m not painting him as a victim. He isn’t. Without Hoseok BTS would be nothing. He’s the one that works nonstop behind the scenes to make sure their choreography and performances are as “Grammy-Worthy” as can be. And yet he’s also the member that constantly gets the least lines and screen time. Not to mention he’s also the member who ARMYS did NOTHING to protect when he was receiving all that hate from antis years back.

I find it ironic how when any other member gets hate some of you are mute. And yet when Jimin is on the recieving end we’re suddenly going to war. Lol well fuck you. I could dedicate a whole blog to Jimin’s shitty live vocals, bitchy behavior, unnecessary queerbaiting, violence towards the members, offensive remarks, etc. Not to mention the fact he’s contributed the least to BTS’s discography. I’m not saying all musicians should write their own songs, many don’t. But if you’re going to sit there and be useless, the least you could do is be a genuinely good human being. Unfortunately for you fans, calling him a “sweetheart” doesn’t alter the mile long list of evidence that proves otherwise. If he can’t take the hate, then he himself should stop dishing it out.

Hating New Characters:

It really is just annoying and irrational

Look, there's a huge difference in disliking a character based on your first impression of them and hating them the entire time based on the first time you ever became aware of them.

First things first, leeme just get this out of the way, when the Bad Batch made their debut in season seven a LOT of people hated their guts, calling them 'one-dimensional,' 'Rude,' etc... Even now, they still recieve a shit ton of hate. But why? Like, we didn't know them in season seven and over the what? 5-6 episodes of their show, there's still not enough to decide if you truly hate a character.

Going back, let's talk about Ahsoka. Now I was too young to remember my exact reaction of Ahsoka, but the fandom fucking hated her and now she's one of the most well known and beloved Star Wars characters. But she got a shit ton of hate, people saying stuff like 'Anakin never had a padawan,' 'She's annoying, and a whiny, disrespectful brat,' like what?? We as a fandom didn't know her, she was completely new and unknown and for that reason some of ya'll hated on her. But now? Oh, now everyone loves her and can't wait to see her again, she's loved so damn much now, but in the beginning, it was so far from that. (Not hating on Ahsoka btw).

New characters get hate for the only real reason that they're new and you don't know them. Straight up stop lying and acting like you know a character inside and out enough to judge them as harshly as you do very early on. Ahsoka is the perfect example that proves ya'll judged her too harshly, you didn't know her and refused to just sit back and accept her until she had actual development, actual struggles, her own voice and her own precencse. Liking and loving something, even fictional characters, takes work. Especially if Star Wars is something you love so much to have a blog about. (🙃).

Now let's talk about first impressions, they're huge, and that's why characters are judged so quickly, people and characters are introduced through a task/mission of some sort, they're there for a reason, not as a person. Now obviously, your first impression gives you a huge lay of the land in your mind, but it's important not to let that overcome the reality of: Just because I think this about so-so doesn't mean it's true, I don't know them well enough yet. It's okay to admit you don't like a character after the first few characters but it's a much better mindset to think, 'I don't like this character(s) but it's bound to change.' Ya'll have to give space for change. If you're so set on hating certain things you will start to hate it but that hate is going to become outdated. Because that sassy 14 year old grew into a selfless hero.

Fox for example, first time we really see Fox is when he's hunting down Ahsoka (right?) and when he kills Fives. Both scenarios are meant to put Fox in a position to hate, but does that mean he's a bad character? No! We literally got a glimpse of his character on the worst days of his life/job. It's okay, in the moment, to say you 'hate him for what he did,' but growing and knowing that it was not his choice, he was following orders and a lot of what he did was likely out of his control. This is the difference between hating a character in the moment and long-term hate. (Mentioned later).

Basically, this post is a plea to fucking SIT DOWN AND JUST WATCH THE SHOW FOR NOW. (Talking 'Bout The Bad Batch but any show really). When characters start to become their own person and we start to see patterns in behavior, again and again. When they are constantly themselves and we're no longer surprised when a character acts a certain way, that's when you can say, 'I hate them! They're selfish and rude,' but you have to give characters, like The Bad Batch, time to get there first. And if you're not willing to do that, to give characters a chance, but you're willing to share your hate with the fandom, don't! 🙂 take your toxic ass elsewhere.

Also! Know the difference between temporary emotions based on what so-so did in this episode and long-term hate. That's what I'm talking about, the determination to hate but unwillingness to give something a chance.

4. Do you respond to comments, and why?

absolutely, I’m  incredibly grateful that people read my work and let me know with their own words? so it only feels appropriate to answer. and sometimes when people have more thoughts to share I enjoy talking with them!

5. What’s the fic you have written with the angstiest ending?

oh boy. it gotta be my taegi little mermaid AU (just breathe through me) and my Nie Huaisang/Mo Xuanyu oneshot (ink stained nights, fingers, hearts). I think an explanation for both is unnecessary - they both end with major character death and in both cases it’s not a ‘comforting’ passing. both endings are just incredibly heartbreaking and part of me hated doing it, while the other part had too much fun. i also count my taegi historical Silla AU (blackened skies) as quite angsty, because the entire situation of that feels hopeless. there wasn’t even a possibility to make it a happy ending

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

oh despite my very angsty fics, I have a ton of stories that end quite happily. though while doing this, I realised that majority of my fanfics are open ended because they rarely focus on plot? what turned out incredibly sweet however was my taegijoon hanahaki disease AU  (i can’t rip you out) and my aforementioned mafia AU - I don’t know how happy I’m about the latter’s ending, but it definitely is a very sweet and happy ending. I feel like I could’ve improved a lot on tying up the plot. 

7. Do you write crossovers, if so what’s the craziest one you have done?

I’ve never written a crossover? Once I wrote a fic loosely based on Good Omens but that’s the closest I got. 

8. Have you ever recieved hate on a fic?

not really, I once got a comment on my earlier mentioned little mermaid AU complaining about killing off gay people even in a fantasy setting which. okay? so not even the tagging and the very clear statement that it’s based on Hans Christian Andersen’s story wasn’t enough to stop you? I was just a little bit flabberghasted lol (not to mention assuming I, a queer, kill gays for shits and giggles)

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

this is difficult to answer because I have written smut before, though mostly because I wanted to try it out? I have a few smutty scenes with my wangxian fics but those are very tame, and then I’ve been writing some smut for wenzhou, but that is not posted (and will never be, probably). I always try it out because for some pairings it’s an amazing tool for character studies, and I also want to challenge myself by writing something outside of my comfort zone? but I feel a little bit awkward about it, especially because I’m ace myself so what would I know about it. I guess that is something other people have to judge how well I’m doing

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

not that I know of

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

yes! a few of my works have been translated to Russian by lovely people.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Here I’m giving the same answer as @vishcount did - yes! We wrote one together and I know they said it feels like it’s more like my fic than theirs, but I still very much consider it our joint work!! white plum blossoms turning red - it’s a wangxian wedding fic that I came up with and wanted to include many character’s different POVs. Vishie was so lovely to give her part by writing Jiang Cheng and Lan Xichen - which was absolutely wonderful. Am still very grateful? This whole fic is very cheesy and I never thought I would write weddings in my life but somehow I needed this. Thank you for being part of it 💜 would love to do it again sometime!

13. All time favorite ship!

i hate this question so much. i have so many and choosing is absolutely horrible. I guess I’ll choose wangxian, because they just became one with my heart? they gave me so much and they were incredible to explore. I’ve never written so much about one pairing/universe and I still feel I could forever dwell in their lives. I guess I also want to mention Nie Huaisang/Mo Xuanyu because they became my own on a very intense level.

14.What’s a WIP that you want to finish, but don’t think you will?

My Original Sin case fic. I started writing that in winter and only recently I read what I’ve written back then. It’s not too bad? I really wanted to challenge myself by writing a case fic, mainly because I suck at plotting. Lu Li and Chi Zhen are amazing to explore so I somehow don’t want to give up on that? Maybe I will rewatch the show and it will bring my motivation back. Am just too dumb for my own plot lol

15. What are your writing strengths?

after having many talks with vishie and my other friend, it seems that my characters are okay? I enjoy writing characters a lot, so it’s what I focus on the most. I also like writing atmospheres and just. VibesTM. idk what else I could mention here tbh. maybe my dedication to do (historical) research? often it’s more fun than the thing itself.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Plotting. Am trying to get into it a bit more? I also over-write many things which I want to change - I will never stop being pretentious but maybe being simple about it is better sometimes. Also I need to improve my English a lot, but that is a lifelong journey. I bet there are a ton more weaknesses but I feel like other people can judge that more clearly than me - my own writing is just a hazy mess so I can’t judge it unless I read it years later.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?

not really my thing ig? If someone does it well, maybe it’s good, but yeah. I think it really needs to add to the story to make it work

18. First fandom you wrote for?

Hmmm. When I first discovered fanfics I wrote Ouran Highschool Host Club fics on my phone when I was 12-13 yo, but I never published them? and soon after that it was Denmark/Norway for Hetalia (yeah i know, shut up). that was my pairings of pairings back then and I even published it? I think even a Japan/England Pirate AU????  oh boy I haven’t thought about this in ages, it’s cursed.

19. Fave fic you have written?

It’s hard to choose between your kids and there are a few I could mention, but after being in a very bad writing slump for the past year, I’m quite confident to say that blackened skies, my historical taegi AU set in Silla Korea, is my favourite? For some reason it feels like I peaked - maybe it’s because I haven’t felt truly happy with anything since then, or maybe it’s because I combined a ton of historical research and tied it to my writing? I don’t really know. I guess that together with my Nie Huaisang/Mo Xuanyu fic it feels like my magnum opus that burned me out completely and now am still recovering. Are they any good? I have no fucking idea, but it sure took a toll on me.

BIGHIT vs BTS SHIPS The Difference Between Jikook and Taekook

I think I have explained the commercial value of ships when it comes to content marketing in one of my previous posts. But allow me to use this opportunity to address it in depth.

Bighit did not invent shipping. Shipping predates Kpop and plays a vital role in spiking interest, relevancy and longevity of that interest in a piece of marketed content. It sustains Audience Retention rates and improves engagement rates significantly. It is a powerful marketing tool when used right but I'm not going to get into all that in this post.

Fact is BigHit does benefit from shipping culture because it is one way they keep the audience engaged with BTS content even when they aren't putting out new content for the market to consume. BTS ships serve the same purpose as all the Run, Soop, Bon voyage and myriads of sub content they put out. You may not watch Run every day, but if you are a shipper you will like a ship post at least once a day.

Shipping is organic and costs nothing unlike most other marketing strategies available to the marketer. TV programs such as Harry Potter (Dont lie. I know you shipped Hermoine and Harry. I did too. *tears) Star wars, Friends, Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, Shadow Hunter to name a few have all benefited from shipping culture significantly.

Can BigHit do without ships? Absolutely. They would be a fool to though. Shipping is just one of the many resource options available to a marketer. It bridges the gap in between formal contents and keep interest in a brand going.

I smirk when some people dismiss shipping, look down on shippers or make ignorant and ill informed comments about shipping culture in general. Audience retention and engagement is king in today's economy and BigHit taps into this resource very well.

All BTS ships are thus relevant and valid. All of them. Unfortunately, this is a numbers games. Numbers play a key role in the commercial value of a ship. And it is a fact universally acknowledged that Taekook and Jikook are ships with the most number of fans and as such provides higher engagement rates within a marketing context.

Taekook is the biggest ship not just in BTS but in Kpop. It is followed closely by Jikook. Does that mean all the ships are nothing but shallow interactions engineered to keep us tethered to BTS for as and when they are ready to sell a product to us? NO.

I don't see BigHit actively curating these ships and masterminding them.

What I mean is, I don't think BigHit is asking the members to interact or even forcing them to interact- except in recent moments but that is another topic for another day.

BTS interact with eachother from their own free will. Of course no two interactions are going to be the same as no two relationships are the same. We cannot compare Taegi to Jikook or Taekook to Jikook or even to VMin because the friendship between Jimin and V is not the same as between V and Jin etc.

No one is forcing Jungkook to interact with Jimin. No one is forcing Tae not to interact with JK. It's absurd to think in such a way.

They all interact with eachother and provide that content for BigHit's use. All BigHit does is decide when to show us that content as and if they want to show it to us at all. They are a business and all these ships are just marketing resources and so they will show us a ship's content in a way that advances their business marketing strategy.

However, if two people within a ship barely interact or do not interact at all with eachother then there wouldn't be any content on them for BigHit to promote or use in their marketing campaigns to begin with.

What I'm saying is, if Taekook sells- as in if there are a lot of people interested in seeing their content(which there are) and those two individuals actually have moments together on or off camera, then in their estimation BigHit will market that content to us. If Jikook sells they will sell it to us; as long as none of these ships are damaging to the reputation and business of BigHit.

[CONTROVERSIAL TOPIC BELOW- Proceed with caution.]

A ships value to BigHit, in my opinion, is contingent on its commercial value as discussed above but if that ship causes BigHit to lose money rather than gain, if a ship negatively affects the business or reputation of BigHit then that ship is as good as dead. They will kick that ship off the spotlight real fast.

Taekook and Jikook have both had moments like this where they are temporarily taken off the spotlight or even asked to tone things down. We've all seen it don't argue with me.

Not everything BigHit does is about these ships. BigHit is a brand in of its own. They have several other brands under their brand and they can't afford to ruin their brand image or any of their artists.

They will not hesitate to shut down a ship if it is doing more harm than good. They did it to Taekook when that ship was in it's hay days. As soon as they started recieving a ton of negative press that is when they started getting 'seperated' -on stage anyway. I don't think they were seperated or asked not to interact off camera. Clearly they do. They are friends after all.

BigHit does the same thing to Jikook whenever they start recieving negative attention. But we see them interacting backstage nevertheless and usually this happens at the same event they get 'separated at.'

It's nothing personal, just business.

[Controversial content ahead. Proceed with caution]

At this point, I know you would be asking why Taekook seemed to have dimmed as a ship where BigHit is concerned but Jikook recieve the same negative press and yet they still market Jikook and shine more light on it....

A Taekooker friend whom I had this discussion with pointed out to me that it seems whenever Jikook receives a ton of negative press BigHit claps back with more Jikook content and in an aggressive way yet has it being Taekook we wouldn't get any content outside official content for a whole year.

To be fair, BigHit treats all ships equally in my opinion. Jikook gets penalized for certain moments just as much as Taekook or any ship gets punished. Example, after the New Jersey VLive Jikook were banned(allegedly) from doing a Vlive on their own for a whole year and after the ban was lifted their VLive was monitored the same way Taekook's Vlive was monitored.

Secondly, perhaps they keep pushing Jikook content because that is all they have? Perhaps, they have more Jikook content than Taekook?

Jikook spend so much time around each other and they don't mind their interactions being filmed as content. Not because they are doing fan service but more so because they are lowkey exhibitionists or exhibit exhibitionist tendencies. Lol. More on that later.

When it comes to Taekook; Tae have said once that JK avoids him off camera which I assume by that he meant Jk doesn't interact with him much off camera. Now it could also be that Jk was not on good terms with him during that particular period which is normal because friends fight.

Jk have also said him and Tae's relationship is not for the cameras and I assume by that he meant they are both are not comfortable providing content for Bighit to use as marketing because as I said all these ship interactions are by their own free will. Bighit can't force Taekook to interact and if Taekook hasn't given them permission to air certain moments they just can't.

Or... or....

The reason BigHit pushes back with more Jikook content even after negative press is because Jikook is real. DEADASS.

Hear me out. Calling Taekook out for promoting Homosexuality in S.K will be deemed negative press if Taekook are not gay or in an actual romantic relationship. Calling Jikook out for promoting homosexuality will not be deemed as negative press but an abuse if Jikook are in fact gay and in a gay relationship with eachother.

BigHit is not homophobic. Bang PD is known for his openly support for members of the LGBTQ plus community. If people hate on Jikook because of their moment he will sympathize with them and shove that in your face.

While Taekook negative press will be a nuance, Jikook negative press will be revolution and BigHit will make a statement: a statement that says they stand with LGBTQ plus community PERIOD.

They will do this not for money but for the boys so they feel loved and supported. So Jikook knows they are not in this fight alone especially coming from a highly homophobic society as S.K.

The thing about Jikook is, Jikook is real. That alone gives BigHit a competitive advantage in the Industry. It means Jikook produce more content for BigHit over any other pair and that content is juicy. It's similar to how companies want exclusive access to certain power couples in the industry. If Jikook are real and BigHit have access to them, exclusive access mind you, then that places BigHit above the competition business wise.

Think of Jikook and BigHit as the Kardashians and Entertainment company behind them. Jikook has given BigHit partial access to their private lives extending beyond the access they have over BTS.

If Taekook or any ship give similar access to them we will see more of them. If they give BigHit content we will see more of them. It's as simple as that.

Jikook is a brand and BigHit is their brand manager. This means BigHit gets more content from Jikook and is at liberty to use that content any how they want and milk the shit out of it. In return, BigHit has a duty to protect Jikook and so no. When Jikook gets negative press due to homophobia BigHit is not going to cancel them.

May be chill on them for a while, because that exposure they give Jikook can be traumatizing for Jikook especially if the feedback is negative.

What I'm saying is, where Taekook would be asked to chill and lay low from public scrutiny it will be because BigHit wants to protect their business interest whereas in Jikook's case it would be to protect Jikook themselves. If Taekook are both gay and in a relationship with each other BigHit would do same for them.

I don't think BigHits marketing tactics however affects the status of Jikook, Taekook or any other ship's relationship in any way. Jikook is real whether it is made the center of attention or not. Taekook could be real regardless of whether they are marketed or not. Just because a certain ship is put under the spotlight doesn't mean that ship is 'real' neither does that negate the genuine friendship that exists between members of other ships.

It is weird to me when people associate BigHits business tactics to the validity of their ship. There is no correlation. BigHit is a business, BTS are their artists that make them money- all BTS not just two members from a ship. BTS is one of the most powerful brands in the world right now.

BigHit will explore and exploit all the relationships within the group, platonic or otherwise, if that will help them sell more albums or even Icecream.

Jikook gives BigHit a competitive advantage more so than any other ship in BTS not just because they are the second largest ship in South Korea but because Jikook are shaping out to be a power couple and Icons for the LGBTQ community. There is a reason why companies rush to support Pride month parades. I'll leave it there.

So no, I don't see it as BigHit highlighting the ship of the era as you put it or alternating between Jikook and Taekook as and when. BigHit has a business to run, shipping plays a vital role in its business marketing strategy but not everything is about these ships.

The members have a role to play in creating content for these ships and Bighit won't hesitate to market it if the content is quality entertainment, consensual and plays to their overall marketing scheme.

This means if Jikook ship content are boring they will choose to show a much entertaining ship content over them. Nothing personal.

I just think they treat Jikook differently because as much as they want to pander to our delusional shipping interests, they owe Jikook a duty to protect them from homophobic people. When you hate on any ship in BTS, BigHit assumes you are nuts but when you hate on Jikook BigHit will immediately assume you are both nuts and homophobic.

Promoting Jikook is business but it is also validation and acceptance and support. Bighit has a proclivity for sensitizing us to Jikook and normalizing their relationship.

If Taekook are also in a gay relationship they will be treated the same and I will support them the same. But to me, I believe Jikook are real and therefore Taekook and Jikook are mutually exclusive. Both cannot be real at the same time.

Ship whatever you want but support Jikook and stan all seven.

its okay u didnt know!.. i realise many things by time too. talking about Peter - he looks more stable and isnt paying any attention to his behaviour at all - which surprises me. i myself knew after time something was wrong and yes, it is also possible to become obsessed with someone u dont know! (i hate to say it, but again - Peter. he only knew where player worked, nothing else, and look at his actions!) then u meet the person, and u start to think that theyre the best. it usually happens without u knowing and when u realise youre obsessed its too late. u want their attention, because it gives your brain serotonin -> u become addicted and u will want it more and more times per day. (pls trust me, im talking from my experience). u basically give the person all of your emotions into their hands. now, its their choice to take some path - either be "bad" which will cause u to split (think that the person is "all bad") and have a bad day, or be "good" and u will recieve tons of serotonin and be happy -> which helps your addiction, but not sanity. usually the person who's "victim" of your obsession doesnt know about it, people can and do hide it well. also, it doesnt affect just relationships. it affects friendships and even cause some problems in job. hope i explained it a lil bit. i feel like i could explain this shit to Peter even lol, i could be his therapist- (since his own one is shit) - 👁️

And Peter would definitely understand and just go “hmm...sounds like me but it couldn’t be me! I have GENUINE feelings!”
