The thing that drives me up the wall insane about Riz and Fabian is the fact that Riz still believes that Fabian is too cool to be his friend (even though that guy is the biggest looser (affectionate) there is) when in reality Fabian loves this guy soooo much.

Any time Riz talks or does anything, Fabian has to comment on it, he has to pipe in to make sure that everyone understands that this was Riz‘s doing! This was his friend!

Any time Riz says something kinda awkward, Fabian is there to make sure he still knows that he is appreciated!

Riz might be scared that his friends will all leave him some day. But the truth is, Fabian would walk into a room and look for him first!

I like the Cutie Pie and Naughty Babe universe because the friendships make sense and are just as important as the romance, if not more.

Even when they tease me with my ghost ship, Yi x Lian, it's clear they care about each other.

And when they threaten each other, the threats land because they know and love each other.

Since these best friends know that their husband and fiancé WILL pick their friendship over them every time.

Their husband and fiancé have proven multiple times that even though they love their guys, their friendship is above all else.

And Lian and Yi are actual friends too who have each other's backs as well.

And they apologize to each other in ways that fit them (aka transfer money into each other's account when they mess up).

I don't have to squint to see the friendships because they are front and center. They are pivotal to the plot. These men love each other, and they will fight just has hard for each other as they would their romantic partner. They might lie to their partners, but they would never lie to each other.
