I had the saddest scariest dream last night that I took Pip to the vet for his annual exam and they took him into the back to do some tests and then they came back out without him and told me that they’d detected something very wrong and had had to put him down immediately without telling me it was going to happen. he was already dead and they wouldn’t even let me see him after. woke up absolutely BAWLING at 3am :((((( clearly my psyche is still a LITTLE BIT scarred from when I went on vacation and the vet called to inform me pip had ingested a neurotoxin and was probably going to have seizures until he seized to death and I wouldn’t be allowed to see him even if I flew back because of COVID restrictions. WAHHHHH the longest and worst night of my life just lying on my brother’s sofa sobbing and sobbing for hours because if I went to sleep I’d wake up to a voicemail telling me he was dead.

but he’s NOT he’s OKAY he’s HERE and SAFE snuggling with me and flatly refusing to go out into the rain 😭😭😭
