Brothers with an MC who's a total noob at cooking. Their food isn't as bad as Solomon's but there's room for improvement. Like sometimes it's too bland or too salty. How would the brothers help MC and how would they react to seeing Solomon offer to give cooking advise to MC?

MC who is a noob at cooking

You were never that great of a cook and honestly, you made peace with that fact. You had a lot of time to improve yourself and it's not like you had to cook for other people.

Or at least that was the case until you were dragged to literal Hell, where you would have to cook for 7 other people from time to time, when you were on dinner duty.

At least you could blame your bad cooking on the fact that Devildom had an entire new list of foods and cooking styles, no one has to know that you are a noob at cooking human world food too...

Lucifer

He was aware you'll need help to get accustomed to Devildom's food, so he assigned someone to help you each time it was your time to cook.

If you want to get better he would be more than glad to tell you where you could improve with your cooking.

He catches on pretty early that you lack experience with cooking in general, not just with Devildom cooking...

No matter if you put too much seasoing or to little, he will always keep his expression neutral so you wouldn't get discourage from getting better

The only time he would comment, is if Belphegor or Satan took advatange of your lack of experience with cooking to put stuff in his food. But at that point it's beyond whay you can do.

If there is something truly awful that you made, he may or may not feed it to Cerberus. Will never let you know that tho.

He considered letting you cook without any help at some point...until he overheard Solomon giving you cooking advice. You were not allowed in the kitchen for a whole week and he would not tell you anything beyond "It's for this household's safety'

Mammon

Since he was supposed to look after you, more often than not he has to help you with cooking. Which he complains a lot at first, at least until he falls for you.

He will fight off his other brothers so he can be the one that helps you get better at cooking. He will take pride in teaching you how to make certain dishes and brag about it to his brothers.

If any of the brothers show any signs that they might not like the food(no one does that cause they are fucking simps) he will take full offense on your behalf.

Another one that figures you can't cook human foods either. He is the brother with the most practical knowledge of the human world. He got you figured out in that aspect as fast as Lucifer.

When he overheard you and Solomon talking about how you could make your cooking better he literally picked you up and ran away. Was it jealousy? Fear of the old man's food? No one knows but he is not letting you near that sorcerer for a while

Leviathan

He is not that much help...he will be too focused on his games to really help you. That is unless you make something inspired by one of his animes, then he will become really strict out of nowhere.

He suggests that you cook different stuff from his anime/video games so you could get better. It's a win-win situation for the both of you. He gets his food from anime and you gain experience.

Doesn't dare to tell you if your food is bland or if you used too much salt. He thinks you will hate him if he starts commenting on it. Unless you swear you won't get mad he will keep everything to himself.

Doesn't realize that you are a noob at cooking human food. He just thinks you're not the best at cooking because you are in a different world.

He doesn't actually see Solomon give you cooking advice at RAD because his ass is doing online school. Only when you serve him a literal murder attempt that you dare to call food and tell him you got some advice from Solomon does he realize his fate...

Satan

The best cook in the house. He is well aware that Devildom cusine will be new to you so he planned out some special cooking classes just for you.

He takes this occasion to more or less study how a human would interact with Devildom food when they first see it.

He may also take advantage of these cooking lessons to put poisons and potions in the food ment for Lucifer. Unless you're in the Anti Lucifer League, you are none the wiser about the whole affair.

He will actually tell you when you put too much or too little seasoning into the food. He won't do it in front of others and is always ment in a good way so you could get better at cooking. One of the best people to get advice from when it comes to cooking ngl.

When he saw that Solomon was trying to give you advice for cooking he let that two of you finish the conversation. Once he was sure that Solomon was gone Satan had a serious talk about how you should do the complete opposite of what Solomon has told you. Funny enough, that makes your cooking 10 times better.

Asmodeus

Not much help to be honest. Just like his older brother, he will bring his phone and do something else while chatting with you. To his credit, he does search for tips and recipes online for begginers.

That starts a small tradition between the two of you where he shows you a dish from Devilgram and you try to recreate it. If he helps you are not depends on your mood but one thing is sure, he will post the finished product on Devilgram and will sing praises about it.

He has had to deal with Solomon's cooking for hundred of years, so he developed a really good poker face when it comes to trying cooking he doesn't like. He will try to gently tell you if the food is missing something. He doesn't want to see you sad after all.

With both you and Solomon being bad cooks, he might just have to start thinking that all humans are bad at cooking...or that would have been the case if he didn't hook up with literally renown chefs from human world.

He doesn't even need to hear your discussion with Solomon to know that the old man is giving you cooking advice. He will literally throw himself at the both of you and start talking about the latest drama to get you both distracted.

Beelzebub

He is literally one of the worst demons to have around if you want to get better at cooking...or if you want to cook at all.

He will keep eating the ingredients before you could even use. And as along as your cooking isn't Solomon levels of bad he will enjoy it. At least he is good at making yourself feel proud about your cooking, even in your bad days.

He won't help you get better at cooking and he feels bad about it but he can be one hell of an emotional support demon, your personal cheerleader if you want. He is there to eat all of your failed attempts with a smile on his face.

Asks you to make him something from the human world pretty often. The good thing is he can't tell you're a total noob at cooking that stuff because he genuinely likes your food.

When he sees you and Solomon talk about ways to get better at cooking he literally picks you up and carries you away. Where exactly? Probably Akudonalds

Belphegor

He can be pretty helpful if he wants to. Unfortunately, he prefers to wrap his hands are you waist, rest his head on your shoulder/against your back and sleep. Which makes it really hard for you to move around. The brat is lucky he is cute.

Just like Satan, he will put poison/potions in the food that is ment for Lucifer as a prank when you are not looking.

Since he often cooks for Beel, he gives pretty good tips about how to cook big portions of food without putting too much energy into it. Probably some of the best advice considering that you have to cook for you and 7 other demons, one who is the personification of gluttony

He sends you different foods he is craving and demands that you make them. He claims that it counts as practice, you call bullshit on it and leave it at that. On the occasions that you do decide to try your hand at cooking whatever he asks, he will get pretty embarrassed cause he didn't expect that you would actually do it.

If he sees Solomon trying to give you tips about cooking he will literally walk in the middle of your conversation and start using you as a body pillow to distract you from your conversation.

Summary: After a bad mental health day, you decide to take a break in another country. Not knowing that time passes through. How she was gone for 24 hours turns out she was gone for a year.

A/N: I wrote half of this in 3-4am, also happy new year 🥳 my first post in 2023 sorry for late post I had school and also I don’t know how to end this 😭 this is bad I hate this

Multiple thuds have been heard from the upper floor, and multiple people falling off the stairs.

Asmodeus was the first to approach you, running;

“Where are you going dearie?” He asks, clinging on your side.

“I’m gonna stay at my friend's place.”

“Who?”

“Uhm, f/n”

“And how long are you planning to stay with them?” Lucifer appears out of the shadows.

“We’re planning to have a sleepover,” you lie

“You don’t seem to have any packed for your sleepover” he points out

“I have some stuff in their place” you explain, fidgeting with the ends of your sweater.

“Very well, enjoy” he gives you a smile of approval

“WAIT Y/N DO YOU HAVE YOUR-” Mammon’s voice get cut off by the slam of the door

Normally you would tell them when you were gonna teleport to a place, but you decided not to this time.

You wanted to be left alone.

Everything was too loud.

You closed your eyes and felt the world spin around you.

And suddenly, you’re in Switzerland.

You look behind you to see the inn you always stayed in when everything was too much.

“Another night hmm?” The old couple who owned the inn; said

“Yeah” you chuckled

“Well, go on then. This night is on us” They smile at you.

“Thank you Mrs Aebi and Mrs Müller”

They hand you a key, and waved you goodbye

You entered your room and fell asleep immediately

Time passes.

You basically slept for the whole day.

When you woke up, you had an hour left to do what you wanted to do because you slept for 23 hours (me tbh)

You decide to hang out in the mini library that the old couple allowed you to stay in because you were a usual.

And just like that your time passes.

You hand your key, and teleport back to Devildom, it took longer than usual but you shrugged it off.

As you stood in front of the house of lamentation, it somehow looked like it aged.

There was more overgrown vines, but you ignored it and entered

“I’m home! “ You yell out closing the door behind you

…

No answer, normally they’d come running down when you came back.

‘hmm, maybe they went out’ you thought

You pat your pockets trying to find you D.D.D, only realizing you left it in your room.

You quickly run up to your room to be greeted with a different look

Your bed was now covered in clothes with mismatched bed sheets, you look around the room to see everything changed.

Your bookshelf was now a desk, and your desk area was now an empty area filled with random junk.

“What the fuck?” You mumble to yourself

A loud scream was heard after something was thrown at you.

“OW WHAY THE FUCK?” You hold your head.

“WHO ARE YOU?” A female voice yelled

“NO WHO ARE YOU? What are you doing in MY room” you yell

“I’m Zoe and it’s not your room, it’s mine” She says crossing her arms

“Zoe, is there something-“ Lucifer’s words get cut off

“LUCIFER YES, can you tell this girl to get out of my room?” You ask him

There you were, standing in front of Lucifer, who kinda looked more unstable than before.

“If this is a shapeshifters sick idea of a joke, it’s not funny” He says anger laced in his voice

“What do you mean? What the fuck is wrong with all of you?”

“Get out. Whoever you are, get out. Diavolo will hear about this. He’ll hear about a shapeshifter disrespecting a dead friend of ours.” He grabs your arm and drags you out the house

“Friend? Lucifer what do you mean friend?”

“Get out. And shape shift back to your normal form. What you’re doing is disrespectful.” If looks could you’d be 6ft under

“shape shift? Lucifer you aren’t being serious right now right? What the fuck is wrong with you? I’m gone for a day and suddenly you don’t know me?” you snapped

Your words were ignored and a door slammed in front of your face.

“Fucking hell” you run your hands through your hair

“You can’t be serious, asshole! Open the door!” You kick the door, only to receive no answer

“Okay well fuck you too I guess”

At this point you didn’t know where else to go.

You walk around Devildom thinking where else you could go, while you are walking you notice a few stores changed.

Your beloved bookstore was now a restaurant.

Your favorite record store, where you used to shop with Lucifer, was now a fashion boutique.

You didn’t notice how far you walked, suddenly you were in front of Diavolo’s Castle.

While you were staring at the building in front of you, a light bulb turns on in your head.

You confidently walked in front of the gate, only to be stopped by a few guards who you don’t remember being there;

“You can’t enter”

“Why not and also who are you?”

“Not relevant. But you cannot enter”

You groan

“Oh my god look a trespasser!” You pointed at a random area

“We aren’t falling for that.”

“Nah bro I’m being real”

The guards looked at each other and immediately ran to the area you pointed in.

While they were distracted you teleported in.

It was like luck was on your side (kind of) you teleported in the throne room, where Diavolo was in;

“DIAVOLO! I need help- Lucifer is acting like he doesn’t know me and I’m a shapeshifter??? apparently-“

“Y/n? Is that you?” He asks interrupting your ramble

“Jesus Christ, yes it’s me, I am here. What’s with everybody today?” You question

“Y/n…” He approached you

“And also there’s some girl named Zoe in my room???? Like excuse me-“

“Y/n.” His voice demanded, hands on your shoulder

“Yes?”

“You’ve been missing for a year.”

…

It was quiet, so quiet you could hear a fly burp.

“What?”

“You were missing for a year, everyone believed you were dead.”

“What,,, no?! I was only gone for a day. That’s not possible!” you panic

“You said you were with f/n but when we went to them to see if you were there you weren’t”

“What?…” you felt like you were gonna faint

KinnPorsche Episode 7 - last scene

Sooo, I rewatched the scene and I'm gonna analyze the cinematography frame by frame. Bear with me because I wrote down so many notes and there's even a heaven/hell comparison.

This scene is one of the strongest scenes - if not the strongest - KinnPorsche has to offer if it comes to acting, cinematography and growth.

So let me remind you of last week's quote: "Maybe you'd sacrifice a hand for me. Or maybe because I've crossed your line. Or I like it when you're happy." This quote shows the same contrast as this conflict scene eight here because their whole story is about crossing lines. They both will continue to cross each other's lines and in this 7th episode, they cross their lines again. The mirror is a used object to underline when they are not themselves. The second the conflict starts, they are partly seen in the mirror as well and when it's resolved, it's only them in front of the mirror. So this whole conflict takes place in "another world", on "the other side" that can count as hell. There is no warm light, just a poisonous green one highlighting all the negativity. There is a bright yellow light in the "real world" but it's rarely seen and only when they reach a symbolic heaven.

After Vegas and the bodyguards are gone, Kinn confronts Porsche in a very harsh manner. He gets very close to his face and at first, Porsche has a tiny smile on his lips. Kinn is his savior, but Kinn is flodded with jealousy and the fear of having lost Porsche that leads to anger. He is very aggressive, shouting at Porsche "what the heck were you doing" and Porsche's gaze changes. He is irritated and his eyes try to seek something familiar in Kinn's but he can't find it.

Then Kinn even slaps him, asking again "whay the heck were you doing, huh?" Now, Porsche even looks scared and he gets angry as well. Kinn is not under control and just acts irrational but it's hard to meat a hot-head with a calm tone and Kinn is way too close to Porsche's face. It's uncomfortable, so Porsche pushes him away with the words "I haven't done anything!" Wrong accusations without a real conversation are now the tone of the scene and the air is thick enough to cut.

The angle changes and only Porsche is seen in the mirror because he now says something as irrational as Kinn did.

"You never trust me. Shoot me already. Just like you shot your ex."

But Porsche is different from Kinn. When Kinn is angry, he acts on it without thinking because he is out of control and in his own world where only impulses exist. The difference here is, Porsche is only angry to a certain level because he's just frustrated Kinn doesn't listen to him but it's not anger against Kinn as a person, just his behavior. It's why we get this look of horror on Porsche's face after saying those words, because his own behavior is scary:

I would say it's regret, fear, anger, love and pain all mixed together. We all don't know what will happen next because Kinn can be quite dangerous if he wants to. Things are not in his control and he still thinks Porsche betrayed him and the promises between them. So he gets very close to Porsche without saying a word. And for me, a quietly angry person is always scarier than a loudly angry person. Because you don't know what tsunami will come. A tiny wave or a wave as high as the skyscrapers of the city.

"You're way more loose than I thought."

Those are the only words Kinn says but they weight heavily. The way he says them will full hate and they aim right at Porsche's heart. They are supposed to be hurting and they awake something in Porsche, so he slaps Kinn. Hard. Because yes, Porsche crossed a line, but Kinn did as well.

"I shouldn't have loved a crappy guy like you."

Same camera angle from before but different emotions. Now it's disappointment, anger, pain, love and sadness. That Kinn could think of him like that, it's hurting Porsche in places he didn't knew existed inside his heart. He just wants to get out of there but the slap and his more-or-less love confession awoke Kinn. He went back to normal and is now ready to make it up to Porsche. He sees what he has done. He sees how much he hurt Porsche, because honestly this look on his face, I wouldn't be able to stand that. It's so disappointed and hurt. Kinn is the reason he looks like this...

Fulltime regret, all I can say. When Porsche tries to get out of there, Kinn wraps his arms around him. But Porsche is too hurt right now to accept physical contact as any sort of apology and actively fights against Kinn's grip.

We end up right here with Porsche pressed against the mirror, head down, arms crossed. It's a position that symbolizes vulnerability and self-protection. Porsche looks like he doesn't want to exist any more and their conflict just got even more intense because the mirror takes up 50% of the screen an they are pressed against it. It's confrontation with "the other side", their conflict.

I really don't know why, maybe because Porsche's face is not moving and he looks so young but destroyed on the inside, I immediately thought of the image of a fallen angel. He fell for Kinn and goes to hell for it. Everything is dark and green like poison. Porsche is naked, looking innocent, while Kinn wears black, he is the devil. Porsche is the victim of Kinn's uncontroled anger in the first place and Kinn really hurt his heart heavily. Porsche showed vulnerability but was met with coldness, so he would be a fallen angel. He was once happily in love and his love let him shine but right now his love dropped him and he fell far.

The mirror takes up even more of the screen while Kinn apologizes. A simple "I'm sorry" and the camera returns to his real side profile. Only Porsche is left in the mirror. Kinn did his part, he apologized and it's now on Porsche's part if he wants to give in or not. If he wants to escape the mirror or find comfort in his newly found identity of a fallen angel.

When Porsche turns around, the light behind them shines so brightly, it symbolizes heaven. A lover can be the devil and god at the same time. If you fight, it's hell. But when you love, it's heaven. This whole scene symbolizes the balance between them and their power dynamic. How strong their bond is and how much power they have over each other, how much power they give one another, how much power they allow the other to take.

It's very euphoric while the light is seen. They have sex and "reach heaven" for a second there. But then they calm down and love is all that's left.

there is so much stuff on matariki on stream it makes me very overwhelemd to be honest, because I know alot of it says the same stuff as well so that concerns/stresses me out about which to read and reference yknow. also i am so confused this breif is horrible and I hate that there is this thing that I am already supposed to have completed when the concensus is much different in class!!!! evil evil stream.

so i think i will just document on this workbook for now that I am learning and doing stuff, because right now I do not understand at all what I am supposed to be doing through stream - or it makes it sound like I should be much further along than I should be which does not make me feel very good.

also a website I found on some patterns and what they all mean - albeit a very simple one so maybe not what I will go with.

in refernce to how the maori work when it comes to a carving, i will most likely make a reduction woodcut "to reveal the essence of the form". my piece of wood is 300x300mm so I could make a 4 board reduction woodcut with the one major board, each being 7.5 cm squared

I like the framing of this one, the only thing is I don't like working with people/faces in my work, I could do a hand or something?? I think I will look further into the hands and the rope thing

I got this book out from the library about matariki, it goes into mahi whai and the significance of the string games as a way to tell stories. the shape of the strings for example can be used to shoe matariki

Part 2 of @fandomfiish and I's Cameron Redemption arc

hahaha Sorry, we will use more "Keep Reading"s 😂 Part 1 here

Last time on the redemption arc: Neil forgives Cam, Cam brought back Keating, Todd and Neil get together and that helps Todd forgive Cam (for reasons ;) ) and Keating gives advice on how he can forgive Cam.... or so he thinks

Cameron looked up at Charlie from his desk, cheeks warm and face looking like a deer caught in headlights.

"Y-you like me?"

Shit, Charlie thought, did his brain slip and say he liked him?? CURRENTLY-- He... He could still fix it.

"Yes." FUCK--

"B-but you hate me. You're always a jerk around me and you punched me and you said you can't forgive me, and now you say--" Cameron’s trying to rationalize it but he doesn't want Charlie not to like him. So why is he trying to say Charlie isn't into him??

It's clear these two have something completely different than the Neil incident to be talking about. At least not while Charlie is cupping Cameron’s face before abruptly giving him a messy 2 second peck on the lips.

Charlie steps back, in shock? In maybe embarrassment. His body moved on it's own.

"Y-you talk too damned much!" Charlie yelled before leaving their room to hide in the bathroom.

The door slamming behind him made Neil and the others worried.

Cameron was stuck frozen on his chair. Charlie Dalton kissed him. Charlie kissed him. Charlie didn't hate him.

Cameron's lips were still ajar when Todd and Knox came in to check up on him. Neil went after Charlie of course, being the only who could probably console him right now.

"Cameron are you ok?? Charlie ran out here so Neil had to catch him." Todd stood by the doorframe, not immediately rushing in just in case there was shrapnel across their room from a fight. But instead, Todd sees Cameron pink faced.

"I-I am fine. I'm fine. I'm ok." Cameron stuttered.

Knox raised an eyebrow, "Uh huh... look I'll for ice, you look like you have a fever, Cameron."

Todd stayed behind because he's knows that look. He's had it before.

Meanwhile, Neil is checking each bathroom stall for his childhood best friend. "Oooohhh Charlieeee, Come out come out wherever you aaaare!"

Unlike their other friends, Neil sorta already could tell whay Charlie’s deal was even if he never told him. They've been best friends long enough for Neil to know that Charlie Dalton doesn't hide in bathrooms over an argument. He's hiding because he did something. Something unlike himself.

u have any tips for making art fun again? i used to love making art but these past years ive lost my way and dont know what to do anymore because i do still love it i just hate my art specifically and cant stand to make it without eviscerating it not even a minute into sketching :(

ok so I had a lot of phases like this I very often do even now and I got a few tips

practice drawing faces by using celebrities faces, hell put it on 30% opacity and draw Over it.. but you have to get a feel for it. do the same for just pics of hands.

its bothersome its boring but! its worth it. ull feel better just not doing ur own style

CHANGE BRUSHES. alot of times ur artstyles effect is impacted by ur brush. what program are u using? if its sai you should use mine they can give u a nice softer feel

just do circle doodles (an example of mine is the B O N K jake one I did) it gives u space and doesnt rly have to do with ur mainstyle. ull find fun in doing a completely different thing

dont think about having to be productive and feeling like every canvas has to be posted! I have content creator pressure and I often feel like I cant just do RANDOM stuff like I have to be presentable etc. its important for u to know that u can just have fun trying to draw a circle

dont just listen to music while drawing. music actually influences ur art !! and it can often increase frustration or increase excitement on the piece. watch drama videos bro I watch fhem 99% of the tjme when I do watch youtube videos. I recommend TRO (the right opinion), j aubrey, iNabber, james marriott, def noodles, kappa kaiju, atozy, lazy purple (tf2 gaming related), alizee, and some more but like there are plenty of youtubers I watch mostly drama commentary but also documentation of other things

right click double on it and theres like a pic-in-pic one and u have a small window of the youtube window that u can drag around and have on screen while having ur art program up!

either u do that or u have a playlist on with 100+ songs of (and thats important) VERY different styles so u can also see the effects of music on art that Im talking about

do pixel art! it calms and puts difference on ur artstyle and pixelling can be less frustrating than art. whay kind of pixel art? now thats where u can experiment

often people hate how they color, force change on it! put an orange overlay or color the lineart before fusing (for example Im very.. something. I rage when I have to blend the color black it makes me upset and anxious and I stop the artpiece.)

if u feel like ur art is too out of ur hand, try to start at the roots, try out other ones styles to see what u feel happy with or not- if u see other ones art elements that u like, try it out!

most important last: give urself the chance to improve. I know it sucks when art doesnt immediately look good- but your art can only improve when u confront its flaws and work on it, and give urself the space to do so

Tim didn’t like how Elias looked at him. He knew how people worked, and liked to consider himself an expert on their mannerisms and haptics. He knew what a creeps stare looked like. The want, the up and down, Tim had seen it all before. Whether it be from across a bar or right in front of him. But this wasn’t that. This look was different. It was hungry.

Jon hadn’t worked at the Institute for long, maybe a month or so, but Tim quite liked him, despite how stiff and robotic Jon was at work. On his first day Tim offered for him to go out for lunch with he and Sasha, but he declined. In fact Tim can’t recall if Jon took a lunch at all that day. He was always busy, always caught up in his work. It was fascinating how Tim had worked there for far longer and he had never felt the determination he always saw within Jon when it came to assignments.

Nonetheless, Tim kept trying. And eventually it worked, and he went out to lunch with them a couple times. Martin tagged along as well, so it was a proper party, according to Tim.

But it was now the end of the month, which meant evaluations. Elias Bouchard was not very present in the work environment, often busy in his office. It was a miracle if you saw him at all during work. In fact he rarely did evaluations himself, often leaving them to Gertrude. But today was very special because the man himself would be taking rounds around the Institute to check on the employees and make sure work was actually being done.

Things had gone smoothly, so far. Tim’s desk was at the end of the row, just next to Sasha’s so he would probably be last. But from across the way he noticed that Elias had stopped at Jon’s Desk. It took a moment for Tim to really process that Elias had been there talking to Jon to far longer than he had for anyone else. And he /hated/ how he looked at him.

Jon was still fairly new, so he was reasonably nervous for this, but Tim could spot the discomfort from a mile away. The sinking back into his seat, the lack of eye contact, the fumbling, Tim knew it all too well. But again, this wasn’t the look of want for sex or anything like he was used to. It was different. But Tim couldn’t quite place it yet.

Either way, Tim knew he had to help. So he lifted his feet up and rested them on the desk rather loudly, catching the attention of Elias and Jon. Tim shot the boss his normal cheeky grin. “Well if I’d known you’d be giving special attention to us all I would have worn a nicer shirt, boss.”

Elias blinked before straightening his tie and clearing his throat. “Yes right. Stoker was it?” There were a lot of people had worked at the Institute, and he wasn’t quite sure how Elias knew his name but it made his own discomfort twist his stomach up slightly. “That’s the one.” Elias was quiet before turning back to Jon just briefly and walking away.

The relief Tim saw in Jon’s eyes as he relaxed made a bit of anger flash inside Tim, but he did nothing about it. Just smiled over at his coworker and continued on with his research.

The incident wasn’t ever brought up between them, it was more of an understood thing. That being said Jon once again tagged along for lunch, this time without Tim asking. It was certainly nice that he was taking the effort to be apart of the group, and he was quite glad Jon wanted to come. But they both knew why he came.

It didn’t come up again for a while, especially considering all that happened, whay with Gertrude’s disappearance, everyone’s relocation, and Jon’s promotion. It certainly was one hell of a promotion, going from a researcher to head archivist. Tim voiced so to Jon, but Jon shrugged it off.

It was after things had settled that Tim saw the stare again. Jon had been busier lately, a new office and a large amount of work. He was pricklier now, losing more sleep than before. But Tim still managed to convince him to join them all for lunch on occasions. In fact he was just about to knock on the door to ask that very question when he noticed that it was open a crack already.

Tim hummed to himself, but quieted down when he heard voices. One was Jon’s obviously. But the second was once he didn’t know well, but enough for him to make the deduction. So he carefully creaked his head in as not to be seen. And that’s when he saw it. That look, the hunger. Tim’s own eyes narrowed as he could finally peg down what it was he saw in Elias’ eyes.

His head retreated from the room and he swung the door open, knocking on the wall and leaning against the frame cooly, his gaze not leaving Elias just in case. The boss spun around, and he could vaguely see Jon peak from around his tall frame Elias turned, and they met eyes for a moment. His face was full of distaste, Tim’s with defensiveness. “Oh didn’t know you were in here, I was just about to ask Jon if he’d like to join us for lunch.”

Elias sighed and nodded. “I’ll speak with you later, Jon.” As Elias brushed past Tim to leave, their gazes never really left each other. And Tim could tell Elias was annoyed, despite his attempt to hide it behind his suave and chill expression.

Jon wordlessly packed up his things and they went to lunch. From then on Tim made a note to watch out for Jon, because he didn’t like creeps with weird looks. Especially not when they were directed at the people he loved.

Brainstorming about my yokai watch ocs: Dimmy and Gorgeous Ambassador, the most cutest family

* My Dimmy's name is Blythe and they are nonbinary. Gorgeous Ambassador is male and i dont have a name for him yet. I was thinking maybe try and make up a dub name for kageusuo (anime exclusive pre evolution) that sounds like it could have been his nickname as a human? Cos his story is that he used to be a wandering mercenary in ye olde ninja times, i feel like itd be fitting.

* Blythe is the main partner of my protagonist in my yokai watch lp, basically the jibanyan of the anime of my heart. Their personality is mostly similar to the Dimmy in the anime, but i feel like theyre maybe older and more powerful than the average Dimmy? Like a weak low evolution yokai thats stayed unevolved for centuries and is actually more skilled and world weary than you'd assume. Protag just got lucky that she bumped into this one super magikarp, lol! Also i like to draw them looking more teenage age by just taking the regular Dimmy design and making the tail extra super long. They stand roughly twice as tall as the protagonist and can wrap around her shoulders like a scarf :3 Blythe is however totally unaware of their super powerful mega skill and is very self depreciating and low confidence. But Mallory totally sees them as a cool older sibling mentor figure and is always trying to figure out ways to make their tol squiggle friend feel included and valued :3

* the way Gorgeous Ambassador comes into the picture is that he was actually the same sort of figure to Blythe! Back in the ninja era Blythe was partners with another human, but he passed away in tragic circumstances and it led to their current depressed self. However he actually reincarnated as a yokai and has been trying to find his lil sibling ever since! I feel like he was a failure samurai who tried to protect people but was so weak he never could. And he was always broke and starving and begging to do any sort of miscellaneous jobs for anyone or even let them punch him in the stomach for a few coins. And he had just as much self confidence issues as Blythe but he coped with it by becoming a compulsive liar instead, always boasting and trying to sell himself as some legendary hero to keep from facing the truth. Since Blythe was a cute lil babby yokai at the time, they always believed their human master's tall tales and looked up to him, which made him feel really guilty and try harder to work on becoming someone this kid could be genuinely proud of.

* Blythe was first born as a household spirit. Cos i was thinking about what Dimmy would be before it became a ninja, since the medallium description says it 'got a job as a ninja to put its powers to use', so like it isnt really a ninja yokai but just a yokai thats a ninja? I guess?? I figured that the idea of being an invisible shadow supporter fit with household spirits/domovoi/zakishi warishi (probably mispelled that) and the various other similar creatures in mythologies all over the world. Just the idea that theres some sort of being that protects your house and if you give it offerings and take good care of the place it will protect you and your family. So yeah its my headcanon that thats how Dimmys are born, and that theres probably many variants wearing different outfits inspired by whatever type of humans they guarded. Tho yeh ninja is a job that works really well with their abilities so it makes sense itd be the primary representative of the species in the games.

* Human-dude-who-would-become-gorgeous-ambassador first met Blythe when one of his various failed attempts to get a job happened to cross paths with the family Blythe was guarding. This family didnt believe in such old suspicions and never gave offerings to their household spirit, so it stayed small and weak and was almost fading away. Baby blythe didnt know why their humans didnt love them, even though they tried so hard to bring good luck and clean the fireplace and stuff. So they felt a sense of kinship with this poor failure samurai who was begging for food on their doorstep. The humans of the household spat in his face and turned him away empty handed, but the tiny yokai snuck some rice from the pantry and gave it to him. They were surprised that he was able to see them, and he gave them the first thank you they'd ever had!

* Addendum note: i feel like gorgeous samurai was cursed with being able to see yokai from a young age and its part of whay made him so determined to become strong enough to protect people. Perhaps his biological family was killed by an evil yokai and nobody ever believed what he saw? And he wandered japan trying to save other people and always failing and being blamed for what happened, since nobody could see the real culprit. This reputation of being a liar when he wasnt = he ended up actually lying about how he was totally fine and not sad and also great and not hating himself. Its not really something he can control anymore, its like a stress response and it keeps getting him in trouble but he cant stop. "Yes sure i can save the day, i'm awesome!" only makes things worse when he inevitably loses again, whic only makes his self confidence worse and traps him further in the lies...

* so anyway, he became friends with this lil babby yokai and kept coming back to visit them and tell more tall tales of his grand adventures. And eventually he managed to help Blythe come out of their shell a little and agree to leave this house where they were only fading away. Haunting him instead, the lil shadow soon flourished back to full health from being loved for the first time. And their new big bro would always give them the biggest share of all the food even when he was starving, and always wasted his money buying things for them, and knitted them lil scarfs and just HE WAS A GOODEST BIG BRO! They also made a great team, and he was finally able to fight evil yokai with a yokai of his own helping him out. Things were good for a few years!

* Eventually though, they faced a foe too strong for them to defeat. (Not sure yet who it is, cos it could be cool if they faced it again in the present day for a rematch?) Blythe's human friend ran into a burning building to save the people being attacked by this yokai, but because he was already gravely injured he didnt manage to make it out in time. And blythe was just a tiny bab who wasnt strong enough to carry his unconcious body to safety. So their last memories of him are of crying and begging him to wake up as the house fell apart all around them, and eventually the flames swallowed him up. the tiny yokai just ran and ran away from their shame, and never saw an ashy figure rising from the ruins and calling their name...

* eventually after years of struggling alone and lacking meaning in life, Blythe had a chance meeting with our protagonist and thus begins my yokai watch 1 lets play! At the same time their yokaified big bro is still out there searching for them, and maybe one day theyll meet again...

* also i wanna go with the pre-evo the anime added of Gorgeous Ambassador evolving from a sad depressed vampire lookin dude. Even if the whole circumstances here are vastly different! But we dont really have any info on what kageusuo's powers or stats would be, so i guess i'm free to mess around with that? I like the idea of it being vampiric just cos i feel it looks like that. But instead of drinking blood maybe its a hunger for shadows? Which is actually beneficial to humans and makes them less overshadowed aka the opposite of Dimmy's power. So if you ever feel that you're radiating charisma with perhaps a slightly lighter shadow, maybe youve been inspirited by this guy! And then the evolution into Gorgeous Ambassador doesnt actually change anything at all, except just looking more fashionable and confident (which is absolutely a lie). His power already made people more fabulous while being unable to affect himself, he just worked a bit harder on himself to try and catch up with everyone else. Self care vampire!

* oh and in this interpretation the way that kageusuo would be integrated into the gameplay is that Gorgeous Ambassador would get a new ability that lets him switch forms in battle, rather than it being a separate yokai. (Tho would still have a separate entry in the medallium just for conveinience of being able to view both character models whenever you want) Stuff that causes low confidence would make him poof between forms, and itd just be something like more attack based vs defense based, or maybe having two separate personality stats so its like his AI is slightly more versatile than the usual frustratingness of most yokai? Srsly im still so annoyed at so many yokai that have two mutually exclusive moves and the ai is stupid about using them at the wrong time to cancel each other out. Like how Dimmy can be given the AI personality to focus on attacking and thus take advantage of its auto-skill to be good at dodging aka a glass cannon. BUT also one of its skills gives that same status to an ally instead, which by definition takes it away from itself cos 'dont target this other guy' means there arent many other options. So you cpuld alternatively play dimmy as a supporter who exclusively protects others with that ability BUT the annoying part is that even when you set an AI profile to one particular move it still only makes it LIKELY to do that and not guaranteed. So every now and again your attacking dimmy will cancel its own buff to protect an enemy, or your supporting dimmy will forget to support abd instead buff itself despite not having the attack stat build to take advantage of it. Plus you cant have both and switch between modes mid battle, so thatd be REALLY useful if one yokai actually could do that, and also could change stats to fit! Im not sure how to give it a trigger condition thatd let you sorta change at will but also not be 100% easy and overpowered. I was thinking tying it to his confidence could mean missed attacks turn him into kageusuo and critical hits turn into gorgeous? But thatd be TOO uncontrollable...

* oh actually i think maybe i'll nickname him Amber! Just cos my brain just mispronounced gorgeous ambassador and It Kinda Works??? Also its a kind of name that sounds very pretty but also has connotations of gentle shyness, i think. Matches the duality of his fake boastfulness vs his true self doubt.

* Oh and i also thought of maybe having Blythe evolve into Casanono, even though you cant do that in canon. I feel like turning into a pretty humanoid would be a good way to symbolize their growing confidence ans casanono/casanuva has a big nonbinary aesthetic in my opinion. Plus of course the fact casanono is a variabt of a confident yokai thats actyally shy. Originally older brother dude was gonna be a casanuva to match, until i heard about Gorgerous Ambassador and decided it fits him better (especially with that new anime form!) So now im thinking maybe have Blythe be both casanono and casanuva at once, similar to their bro's form switching? But itd be more like casanuva is a rare super saiyan esque powerup when they experience rare moments of confidence. Im pretty much just doing this because SADLY casanono is a joke character who is literally mechanically forced to be useless in battle. Its ability makes it harder to catch yokai which ia already goddamn difficult, and it wastes a skill slot too. As opposed to Dimmy who has a similar personality of always being ignored and depressed but its abilities are actually beneficial. Itd suck to go from Blythe being my mvp to being unable to use them at all, so this would be a way to still always draw them as casanono in comics to match their actual personality, but using casanuva in battle cos.. Well.. Yeah its the functional one of the two. Level-5 if youre listening please make casanono useable in future games!! Casanuva is absolutely the worst one personality wise so it sucks that the game agrees with his ego that he's great and also punches his depressed counterpart into the bin of ignoreness DESPITE BEING SUPER SYMPATHETIC AND RELATEABLE AND ALSO CUTER COLOURSCHEME

Anyway thats all the thoughts i have so far. Except oh also itd be funny if throughout the whole story blythe keeps talking about their dead brother as if he was the super best most serious hero and then when the protagobists actually meet him he's this gaudy dork XD

A DBH fic where Connor gets whumped up an electrocuted! The worst part about Hank's job was when they're a deviant and they ran away. Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to be a human dude and run after a God Damn robot? Sure, Connor always charged after the android without any hesitation and was more than capable of keeping up with them, but that didn't help Hank at all emotionally. It just stressed him out, if his hair wasn't gray before it would be now. Any time Connor runs after those things he always thinks he's gonna end up dead somehow. And now there's no Cyberlife to trust with relating Connor let alone getting the kid an entire new body.

This case was no different from his fears. In fact it'd completely shocked Hank down to his bones. This time instead of the usual schitque, the deviant was hacked by another human at an attempt for a no energy, no risk break in. The owner of the android had called in asking for help, as the android was acting weird and taking everything, only to be cut off with a bullet to the back of her head.

Connor and Hank, yeah Hank can help too ok they're a DUO, quickly figured out after a search of the Android's room that there was someone else controlling him. Using the signal, Connor narrowed down the location of the hacker to an apartment down the block. But the second they were in the apartment? The Android greeted them. Out of shock Hank had shot him in the arm when it attacked, but he quickly recovered and shoved them both, jumping off the damn second floor balcony and booking it.

"Mother fucker-" He cut his upset rant off when Connor perched himself over the rails of the balcony, "You're not going after him are ya?!"

Connor looked down to where Hank had grabbed his arm, LED yellow and red. He looked back to where the deviant was running, "No time. I can't let him get away. Find the hacker" and with that he shoved Hank off of him and jumped down, giving way to the rush of chase.

Hank continued to swear. There was no way he'd be able to follow them, so he supposed Connor was right just...look for the hacker. Well except that the entire apartment was abandoned. Figures a top notch hacker like that was too smart to hack in their actual house. But...just dumb enough to leave their laptop on. Or rushed out too quickly...

The laptop blinked to life when he poked it, it was an old thing, one Hank used in his college days when androids were just starting to be designed. Now yeah Hank wasn't exactly...tech savvy. That was Connor's job. But he could at least tell that this wasn't the hacking computer...BUT it DID have a tracker for the deviant on it...

And if he followed it by car...he could help Connor!

Hank hopped into his old ass car, laptop down in the middle of his dashboard, and popped up his handy dandy police siren. He just needed a point in which he could cut them off, or even better block their path.

Soon the deviant was running up the street ahead of Hank, he stepped flat down on the gas. If he waited for just the the right moment...he could cut it off in a place where Connor would block it from the turn behind it.

He skidded sideways, blocking off the road. The android was running near him, but stumbled to a stop when he saw the car. The android was shocked, scared, LED bright red. And even worse his chest was open, wires bright and sparking in his face.

He looked at Hank, hands shaking as they fumbled with the chest plate, "please- please help me I'm not doing any of this please I-" he was cut off as his voice sparked off like an old tv.

Connor must be right behind the deviant as planned, because next he heard "Give it up! You're corned, let the android go!"

Hank stepped out the car with his gun, because sure the android wasn't doing anything on his own freewill but you never knew what could happen next in this line of work. He stepped into the dirty mud that reminded him just how much he hated this side of town. Connor had chased the android all the way into the bad side of town, the road they stood on wasn't paved, trash was thrown askew all over the place and his shoes just felt gross as they sunk into the sticky mud.

Hank aimed his gun, "stand down"

The android looked at Hank, then at Connor. It looked like he was trying to talk, but nothing, not even a little bit of static, sounded out. His hand rose shakily, causing Hank to step closer and unlock the safety on his gun, "Don't reach for a weapon scumbag!"

But the android didn't stop, instead he ripped out the wires from under his open chest, the android now beginning to cry.

Hank stumbled back in shock from the sparks that rose and snapped at his legs "oh my god!"

Connor now rounded over to the front, now that the android was too compromised to run far, "the hacker is destroying the evidence! We have to stop it!" Connor grabbed at the Androids hands which were still trying to rip itself apart. But the deviant still had some struggle in it, and despite Hank wanting to help, the sparks prevented him from helping. Connor could withstand smaller shocks like these.

Hank could only keep yelling at Connor to stop as he fought the dying android. The thing was still strong, a lot of its connections were completely broken so it could only use one arm, but the other arm that stayed in tact had a mean punch to it, it split open Connor's jaw, a blue bruising already flushing across his cheek. Hank didn't even know androids could bruise. The blue blood must be leaking in his face. But it was getting weaker, and Connor threw it to the ground.

Connor briefly looked at the colorful array of bruises and cuts patterned blue up his face and arms with a frown. Even his abdomen was sliced open from the chest board that the android had ripped off of itself and stabbed him with. Pain was still a new foreign feeling to him. But damn everything stung now that he had a chance to think about it. He shouldn't have gotten this hurt in a fight against a DYING android, but he wanted to save him. He didn't deserve to die because he was being controlled. Connor held his bleeding abdomen with one hand, and went to help him to his feet, hoping to fix up it's wires somehow.

"Connor no!! Don't move!"

"What?"

But it was too late, Connor stepped into the puddle that the android was laying in, exposed wires down. It had just looked like another muddy spot but it was so much worse. Connor braced himself against the wall of a house next to him as electricity ran up and down his body, his vision black and static and panicked. He had to run the course until the android ran out of its last bits of electricity. His body stiff, and his mouth open in a loud broken scream.

Hank covered his ears when he heard the noise his partner was emitting. Gurgling, scraping, grinding, grating, sharp and mechanical. He looked over to see the Android leaning on a wall with on arm, another that was moving from its place resting on his abdomen to hold onto his neck in an attempt soothe his now burning trachea. A globby puddle of Thirium was at the Android's feet, and saline dripped from his lips and nose. Hank felt his eyes widen at the sight. Connor visibly shook and in his vision displayed a low Thirium warning, he felt like he was about to heave again... but that would bring him too close to having none of the blue substance that kept him alive.

"Connor..." Hank mumbled in shock, slowly uncovering his ears and unable to stop looking at the way Connor's eyes were twitching and fluttering. Unable to stay open like a broken toy, eyes rolling around strangly under the glitching lids. "Connor oh my god!!"

Connor stumbled stiffly out of the the puddle and collapsed onto the ground with a grunt. He was still twitching and shaking, hands shaking over his face in shock at how much was dripping out of his body. Just all fading away. His vision was somehow black and white and mixed with all the wrong colors at the same time. Things fading in and out. He was losing feeling in his right leg.

Hank was suddenly in his face, dragging him closer to the car. But Connor couldn't focus on him, all he could do was focus on how he could still feel the over load of electricity inside him, how his eyes twitched way too much to even look at Hank correctly. He was breathing weirdly and strangly, he felt sick to his stomach. Was he dying? Oh god. It hurt every where, pins and needles up his body, his broken jaw felt like it was gonna fall off.

"H.....h-hank...."

Hank winced at how helpless Connor sounded, "it's ok son, you're gonna be ok, we're gonna get you help you hear?" He was grabbing his phone, to call the police station for back up and a mechanic.

"Just breathe Connor you're ok"

"I-i don't...don't need to breathe."

"Then what's that weird ass noise you're making?"

Connor licked his lips where saline was running from his nose, "I'm- I believe I am going to be sick"

"Oh shit" Hank grabbed Connor and lifted him into a half sitting position, leaning him over so he didn't get all sick over himself. But Connor continued to make the pained breathy noise, "c'mon Connor just get it over with dammit"

"I-I I cannot" he shook. Oh god everything hurt. He's gonna die here. Oh god. He can't die like this not when he jist started to feel like what it was like to feel whay it was like to love a father.

"Why the fuck not Connor?!" Hank was freaking out. He knew nothing about this shit. He should really read up on am android manual or something.

Connor felt thick thirium trying to run up his throat and forced it back down, nearly choking on it. His lips stained blue from the force of it. "I-if I expel that amount of thirium t-then I won't..." He couldn't finish talking, feeling too weak. He leaned into Hank and tried to grab his hand but he was too shaky and uncoordinated.

Hank grabbed his hand and squeezed tightly, "shit." He laid Connor on his back, "ok so don't throw up. But don't- yknow don't choke on thirium either. Fuck. Fucking shit. It's ok help is on the way, kid. How can I help you I don't know what to do"

Connor shook his head, "I have 8 minuetes until shut down, 1 if I throw u-up" Connor cringed, closing his mouth at the wave of nausea that rushed over him. He groaned, leaning further and heavier into Hank's lap.

His eyes were starting to focus again, he could see the panic in his eyes. "The...the deviant?"

"...dead."

Connor closed his eyes, but it wasn't peaceful at all. He tried to hold himself back from crying with all this pain. He let out pained gasps.

"It's ok. It's ok. It's ok." Hank smoothed over the hair on his forehead and rested it there, "please Connor buddy you gotta be ok"

Connor nodded, but felt rest mode taking over. His eyes fluttered again, the strange array of greens and reds he saw in Hank's face fading away.

"No. No no no Connor stay with me you gotta stay awake I don't know what to do!" Hank shook his shoulders.

"I-i. Can't. Forced sleep mode- i-i will be fine just...ngh....Hank......" His head rolled off to the side limply, broken chunk of jaw moving in the wrong direction as it fell against Hank's knee.

"Connor?...oh god...fuck...no"

All he could now was sit and wait for help with his son in his lap, watching over him best he could. The amount of blue all over Connor was freaking him out, bruised bloody beaten and electrocuted. Why him. But...Connor trusts him to keep him safe. He knew that. So he could and he would.

He just wondered why Connor only used his first name when he was dying.

Super Losers (1/?)

Pairing: Reddie, Billverly(briefly), Benverly

Universe: Misfits AU

Words: 1,650

Summary: Seven losers from Derry get hit by an electrical storm and gain crazy super powers. How will they use their powers? Will they fight crime? Will they just mess around ? Or will they try to ignore the whole thing all together? In any case, there is not much time to explore them as the storm brought along more than just their powers. They must face off with their new super-powered bullies, and something, much, much, darker.

Note: Every chapter will have a different protagonist.

BEN (PROLOGUE)

Ben should consider himself very lucky, or at least that’s what his mother told him about three times on the way over to the community centre. He was lucky that the judge had given him another chance and sentenced him with community service, another judge might have send him to juvy hall. Ben knew he was just lucky that the judge hated Bowers about as much as Ben did, and honestly, he had seemed a little impressed that Ben had torched Henry’s car and gotten away with it.

Ben didn’t regret it, even if it meant that he would spent the rest of his Summer cleaning up garbage in an embarrassing orange suite. In fact, he would do it again for what Bowers had done to her. Ben shifted in his seat and glanced over at his mother quickly, somehow fearing that she had read his mind and found out that Ben wasn’t sorry at all.

His mother stopped in front of the community centre and shot Ben a pitiful look. You would think that she was actually sending him of to jail, the way she was looking at him, and not as if she was just going to see him again before dinner.

“Now, be careful, Benny.” She said, fixing his collar for him just so she had an excuse to cup his cheek afterwards. “Just go in there and do your job, and it will all be over before you know it. Be polite to everyone, but don’t… maybe not make friends with these kids.”

“Mom, please.”

“I know, I know! But, these kids are here for a reason and some of them are just as rotten as that Bowers kid.” She gave him a stern look, the one she used when he ripped his jeans or didn’t want to finish his plate.

“Fine, I promise.” Ben sighed. “I won’t make friends.” It wasn’t as if he had ever made friends with anyone since they moved to Derry. Ironically Henry Bowers seemed to be the only one that even acknowledge his existence, apart from her from time to time.

His mother brushed off his shirt and made one of her ‘I only want what’s best for you’ speeches. Ben barely heard her as he grabbed his backpack and reached for the door handle.

“Love you, mom.” He said quickly as he got out of the car.

“Love you too, Benny, don’t forget your lunch!” She pushed a heavy brown paper bag into his hands before Ben could close the doors. He offered her a smile and made his way over to the front door of the community centre. As soon as he was certain that she couldn’t see him anymore, he dropped the bag into the nearest trash can. He would probably regret that later, but he was on a streak of doing regrettable things, so why stop now?

Ben had been in the community centre before when his mother had briefly wanted him to go to a church group. He hadn’t hated it, occasionally someone talked to him about this or that which had certainly been a nice change. She had taken him off again when they cut her wages at the factory and she needed him to get a job so they could make ends meet. He’d been working at the library ever since. He preferred it, although it was a lot lonelier.

He heard some noise coming from the smaller hall and he assumed that was where they were meeting. He followed the loud voices with the strange accents, but when he got closer he realised they were really just one voice.

The smaller recreation hall was a neat, perfectly square room with four windows, yellow halogen lights, and a dusty pool table that now looked mint rather than forest green. Today, however, the room looked spectacular, because she was there.

Ben stopped in his tracks and he thought his heart did the same. She was sitting on one of the chairs in the half-circle in the middle of the room. She was wearing short dungarees and a golden bracelet dangled from her ankle. He watched the light play with the bangles as she absentmindedly bounced her leg. He was so caught up that he didn’t realise the noise had stopped.

The noise was now waving a hand in front of Ben’s face, rudely waking him from his reverie. Ben stumbled backwards and contemplated running away for a moment. She had seen him staring like that at her, everyone had, and now they probably thought he was some kind of creep.

“Ye ol’raight there, mate?” The noise, a boy with wild curls and thick-rimmed glasses, said in a thick Irish accent.

“I’m Ben.” He squeaked and then cringed. He could hear her giggle behind her hands as the boy next to her sighed.

“Good te meet ya, Benneh.” The Irish boy said, as he enthusiastically shook Ben’s hand. “Oim Aloysius Nell, the probation worker, whai don’t ye have a seat an we can get started, laddy.”

“Oh-okay.” Ben said frowning as he walked past ‘Nell’ to take a seat. He was sure he recognised Nell from somewhere, but he thought that it was probably best to sit down and shut up. That way, he was less likely to embarrass himself.

Ben wanted to sit down next to her, but he decided to leave an empty chair in-between them at the last moment. She was hunched over and stifling her laughter behind her hands. Ben thought he saw tears in her eyes. The boy next to her only had a disapproving smile on his lips. The one people reserve for toddlers and puppies that do something wrong with great confidence.

“Stop it, Rich.” She managed to say through her laughter, and she dabbed at her eyes. “you’re cruel.”

“Alright, alright, the jig is up.” Rich, apparently, said and he held up his hands in defeat before he extended one to Ben with a flourish. “Richie Tozier is my name and voices are my game. That priss over there is Stan “the Man” Uris, and this lovely lady is Beverly Marsh.”

“He knows, we have Social Studies together.” Beverly said, leaving Ben lost for words. She recognised him?

“Don’t let this clown put you off, we’re actually very nice.” Stan said, pulling Richie back into his chair next to him where he plopped down ungracefully and dramatically. Ben frowned before he finally put two and two together. He had missed the elections, but he was sure he had heard that voice before.

“Wait, you’re Stan Uris? Aren’t you class president ánd captain of the debate team? What are you doing here?” Ben asked.

“I’ve made the wrong friends back in middle school.” Stan deadpanned, before shooting Richie a look that would have made a lesser man weep. Richie just flashed a smile and shrugged.

“Oh, don’t give me that, Staniel, you’d be boring without us.”

Before Stan could answer, three new people barged into the room. The first one was Bill Denbrough who Ben knew by name because they were both in Creative Writing together, he was followed by a boy he recognised from the football team and a kid he had seen at the school nurse once. He figured that everyone who ever went to the school nurse had seen him. The kid was arguing about something with the football player in an excited voice, but he stopped when they realised they weren’t the only ones here.

“Hi everyone.” Bill said, raising his hand casually. “I’m B-Bill, and these are Eddie and Mike.” His stutter had improved a lot over the years, and his speaking voice was now calm and direct although maybe a little slow compared to other guys like Richie and the sick kid.

“Hi again, princess.” Richie said and Eddie flipped him off. He plopped down in the chair opposed from Richie, on the other end of the half-circle, and crossed his arms defiantly.

“You guys know each other?” Mike asked, looking from Richie to Eddie.

“Yes.”

“No.”

There was a short awkward moment, but neither of the boys cared to elaborate. Ben caught Bill and Mike sharing a look, but they didn’t press it either.

Ben suddenly realised that there were only two empty seats: the one on his left and the one on his right. He was about to move to the seat next to Beverly, so Bill and Mike wouldn’t have to split up, but Bill beat him to it.

“C-can I sit here?” He asked Beverly. She nodded and brushed a few strands of her short curls behind her ear. Ben noticed the look that lingered between the two and he felt defeated. Of course, she would go for Bill. He couldn’t blame her either. He just wanted her to be happy.

“So, what are you guys all in here for?” Richie asked, leaning forward in his seat, and deliberately keeping his eyes locked on Eddie. “Have you been a naughty boy again?”

“Shut. Up.” Eddie said through gritted teeth. Everyone was looking at everyone in that moment until Ben just blurted it out.

“I torched Henry Bowers’ car.” There was a moment of deadly silence, and then everyone was talking over each other.

“That was you?”

“That’s insane, bloody amazing, but bloody insane.”

“Does Bowers know it’s you?”

“They should put you into the witness protection program, but for, like, perpetrators.”

Before Ben could answer any of their questions, the door swung open and the actual probation worker appeared. Ben could feel the temperature drop as the man’s steel blue eyes scanned the room and lingered on them disapprovingly. He thought he saw Eddie shiver from the corner of his eyes.

“Welcome to your community service, you criminals.” The man said, dropping seven pairs of orange jumpsuits in front of them. “get changed, so we can get started.

1: sexuality headcanon - heterosexual, but romantic orientation-wise he’s on the aro spectrum, I don’t know where. 2: otp - Felicity (Olicity), although starting seeing the series wth 1x07 had me kinda hugely supporting Helena/Oliver for a bit. I’ve since pretty much forgotten that was once an OTP of mine on this show though. I’m a huge fan of exploring the dynamic between Oliver&Sara or even Oliver&Laurel, but… it’s complicated. Not really the hugest Olicity shipper, but they are my otp for both of their characters.

3: brotp - I’m not a fan of this term although the more all of fandom uses it, the more I’m worn down and i don’t hate it the way i once did i guess. It still feels really weird to me as encompassing of all platonic bonds, even family? Even with huge age differences? Even when “bro” would be the last thing out of either character’s mouth?

Ok so my answer. Hmm. Idk I really really love a lot of platonic bonds Oliver has, and my level of love for each kinda shifts through the seasons. I loved Tommy&Oliver a ton in season 1, especially for what it would mean to Tommy, actually. More than for Oliver. The conversations Barry and Oliver have seem to get more special to me each crossover ep, they have a really interesting and enlightening dynamic *especially* where Oliver is concerned and it’s slowly grown on me. I definitely love Oliver&Diggle, that is intense and deep found family brotherhood in canon and they are everything. I think my love for Thea/Oliver has dwindled a bit over the seasons. I also love Oliver&Quentin more than ever since Laurel’s death. I think they might be my favorite dynamic to look at throughout every single season of the show, perhaps tied with Oliver&Diggle because both are so complex and have so many scenes, so much story to work with, so much footage to vid with, etc. I’ve never seen Quentin/Oliver vidded actually (hmm… ideas…)

4: notp - I like this term more. I think Laurel/Oliver have zero sexually charged chemistry to me but mainly it’s the Oliver slash ships that I just can’t see, especially Barry/Oliver? Or god, I’m still scarred from my first ever? forray into Arrow fanfiction confronting me with Thea/Oliver as a sexual ship?? NOO why people.

5: first headcanon that pops into my head - well I don’t have many of these most of the time but two I’m thinking might be 1) that he never intended to have children, probably decided he didn’t want kids at some point before finding out about William but I’m not sure if it’d be before or during or after the island. And 2) before the island he drank a lot of alcohol ans a lot of coffee. After the island he only drinks rarely at special occasions and only a tiny amount, and doesn’t need caffeine at all, thinks it messes up his perception of his surroundings so basically avoids coffee. Is this disproven by any scenes in the show? Probably. I don’t know. I’ll look when I finally rewatch.

6: favorite line from this character - Not really something I have memorized lol. I don’t just “have” a favorite line but. When I was recently trying to vid an Oliver character study I noticed this line he said to Laurel at the end of season 1 and I love whay it says in general to tie together pre-island and post-island Oliver:“Those five years didn’t change me. They just they scraped away all the things that I wasn’t and revealed the person I always was, which is the person– That’s who you always saw. I don’t know how you saw it, but you did.”Also though I just was looking on a page of Oliver Queen quotes to see if something inspired me as a fave and idk, I do like from season 4:“I need to believe that no matter what happens in our lives, no matter how much darkness infects us, I need to believe we can come back from that!”7: one way in which I relate to this character - this is a tough one for me, I love him and care about him but he’s so different from me. But probably that he doesn’t really feel like an adult/ start getting his life together until older than average is a pretty good way the two of us are similar. And also maybe that he’s had experience with people having stronger feelings for him than he has had back and not knowing how to deal with it (somewhat related to my aro headcanon).

8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character - um... Idk. It's pretty bad when he is telling his mom he got a girl pregnant and oh, it's not laurel, and again later awkward when he has to talk about that mistake of his to team Arrow, etc... a moment like when Thea points out to him that he might be The Hood because the souvenir he brought her back from the island was indeed an arrowhead is also a contender.

9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave? - i don't think of him, typically, as really that problematic, but he is a murderer and tortures people and i guess that makes him closer to that side of the spectrum. He's not really a bubbly cinnamon-y type of guy anyway lol. The way the show handles the topic of suicide or PTSD, or maybe even grief itself, when it comes to him is also pretty messy and a little problematic but that's not "his" fault either, it's not problematic from a standpoint of the character's choices or motivations, just perhaps problematic circumstances/ reactions in terms of what it is teaching viewers? Idk.

Sera:

2: their smile

Sera’s smile is very similar to her sister’s but honestly a little bit more reserved. She tries not to be so reserved in it, but she doesn’t quite have the same willingness to share all her emotions.

3: their greatest achievement

So I’ve mentioned a lot of times how she’s really disappointed she can’t really wield a Keyblade because of the injuries she sustained with the darkness. The longer I’ve been thinking on this, the more I think her injuries are a lot more severe than just that and she probably had to go through some serious recovery, and to me I think there would be no greater achievement to her then starting to dance and being able to prove she’s physically fit to do things, even if it’s too late to learn how to wield a Keyblade.

5: their shortcomings

Her self confidence is always constantly in doubt, sure she acts super strong, but because she can’t be a Keyblade Master like her sister she honestly believes she’ll never be as good as her. This doubt and inferiority actually leads to her having a darkness issue too, one that she tries to ignore.

8: what they like to eat

Sugar, sugar, and more sugar, her sweet tooth is absolutely awful, as in it’s worse than mine.

13: their embarrassing memory from years ago

...Okay listen I’m not saying Sera actually got drunk before any of the rps but there was one time where Sera accidentally drank some alcohol while she was fifteen and remembering any of the time she was drunk and Sky had to watch over her like a two year old the entire time to keep herself from hurting herself.

15: how they react to a brainfreeze

She literally ignores it and keeps eating, this girl is crazy with her ice cream but if she gets a brain freeze she’ll like wince and keep eating and what the fuck Sera how???

18: how they sleep

Curled into a ball, hugging a small plush toy her sister bought her right before leaving to start for Keyblade training. She’s long since outgrown the toy, she shouldn’t keep hugging the small doll, but she does anyways just because she loves it so much.

20: their reaction to a mystery love letter

Honestly Sera’s really pretty and a famous dancer, she’s very used to receiving love letters and the stuff, so she doesn’t really give it a second glance unless she recognized the handwriting.

22: what they're like on two hours of sleep

Sleep drunk. She gets silly and loopy. She also loses all sense of balance so dancing becomes a pain in the ass for her to do. XD

25: why you enjoy them

I love Sera because she’s one of the most challenging to get a grip on, but she’s also incredibly good for interaction and I can’t say I’ve had a bad performance with her so long as she interacts with a few different characters. So I guess she’s my go to when I want an easy oc.

Stella:

2: their smile

She gives a lot of small, hesitant smiles. It’s not that Stella doesn’t like giving big smiles, she’s just had a pretty rough life, and that makes it fairly difficult for her to be willing to give bigger smiles.

6: how they deal with grief

Ahahahahahahahaha. One time Dustin and I were bored (and yes Dustin I know I’m answering for you shut up) and we did a PMRP.

Stella went off the rails and tried to take over the world with her primary motivation being that she lost a very good friend. (This rp was actually why I made Stella.) To say she is bad with grief is a very, very large understatement.

7: how they like to dress

Stella would wear a dress every day if they weren’t so much pains to clean. But since they are she just tries to do her best to stay stylish and look cute whenever she can. She wears a lot of long sleeves or some reason.

10: their fashion sense

I uh...Stella has real good fashion sense, just not good color theory. It’s part of the reason why she tries to stick with dresses or jeans since they go with anything, otherwise she’s real bad at picking matching colors.

15: how they react to a brainfreeze

Stella actually avoids ice creams and smoothies and stuff to avoid brain freeze, that’s how much she hates dealing with it. Poor thing.

16: their dreams

Stella wishes to live in a world where people don’t get hurt, and where she could avoid having to hide what she is from people without worrying about them freaking out and being like “Shit what the fuck a robot? AHHHHHHHH” Too bad that won’t be happening for a while.

17: their ambitions

To escape to safety. Stella’s backstory is she’s an android who developed emotions and therefore was considered a threat when she reacted incorrectly to the people who made her who attempted to reprogram her. She just wants to avoid being reprogrammed for the most part and live in hiding safely for the rest of her life.

18: how they sleep

While she’ll sleep in a bed to preserve her own safety (typically on her stomach) Stella actually prefers sleeping in chairs. They’re easier to get out of and she can react quickly to anybody who might try to hurt her and get out of the area.

24: what motivates them

She’s motivated by two things. Love for the people who make all the difference to her, and fear of being found by the people who want to reprogram or deactivate her. Both are equally important to her.

25: why you enjoy them

Stella is a lot of fun to rp, her cheerful disposition that hides a lot of anger and hate and fear is one of the more complex characters I’ve actually rped, and that in turn makes her a lot of fun to write, not to mention her moral ambiguity is also pretty fun.

Kat:

1: their voice

Kat is very soft spoken, she doesn’t have the loudest voice and it is possible to miss some of the things she says. Honestly I’m bad at describing voices.

4: their insecurities

Anything related to her family and the fact that they’re all heroes or accomplished such a major thing, like holy crap the idea that she might fail to be as good as them is honestly so horrifying to her that it makes her not try because she’s not like them.

8: what they like to eat

Anything made by her grandpa, he’s probably the best cook she’s ever had the pleasure of meeting.

13: their embarrassing memory from years ago

So a fun fact of the day. Since most of her siblings with Kat was little had her mother’s lavender hair, Kat really wanted lavender hair, so she bought some hair dye with money she snuck out of her mom’s purse and then proceeded to dye her hair purple, but because she didn’t bleach the hair first and she died her own hair at like age nine, it looked like a disaster and her face was colored in the purple dyes for like two weeks. None of her siblings ever let her live it down.

14: how they react to burning their tongue on food

Kat will actually drop the food on the floor if it happens, don’t give her scalding hot food ever.

16: their dreams

Her dreams are really complicated. On one hand, Kat wants to be normal and nothing like her family, but really deep down, she dreams of being a hero, and it’s the fear of not being one that causes her anxieties and the belief that if she wasn’t one she’d let her family down. This causes a bunch of confusion for her tbh.

23: how they act when they're sick

Pffffft, drama queen. She acts like she’s dying, but I guess she got that from her mom. XD

25: why you enjoy them

Because Kat got good character interactions with a lot of the characters she talked to, and that was always pretty fun to do.

Nina:

4: their insecurities

Her intelligence is a big one. Nina is not the brightest apple in the bunch when it comes to anything with a lick of practicality, and as such she gets easily embarrassed by her own mistakes.

6: how they deal with grief

Nina panics, and panics, and panics, and it’s really quite good at trigger a depressive state in her tbh. The idea of somebody she loves dying will honestly make her want to die. So needless to say she is really, really bad at handling grief.

8: what they like to eat

If I were to give you one long list that said chocolate would you believe me?

13: their embarrassing memory from years ago

Honestly her entire life is one giant embarrassing memory. The worst was when she was learning to summon Vulll with her dad and somehow managed to use a Fire spell...I’m still not quite sure how it happened but she was covered in soot and managed to burn down a chair.

15: how they react to a brainfreeze

“Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow!” “Nina it’s just a brainfreeze” “Niiiiiick I don’t care it’s a brain freeze it huuuuuuuurts.”

Nina sleeps best curled into people. I have it in my head that even when she got older she would sometimes sneak into her parent’s beds to sleep at night, and she loved having friends over who were chill with it since she liked to cuddle like that.

She gets so excited and spends hours puzzling out who sent it, and even if she didn’t have feelings for them she’d probably agree to the date. Unfortunately for her, not a lot of people have feelings for her.

23: how they act when they're sick

She’s such a baby when sick oh my god. She won’t leave her blankets and acts like she’s dying literally the entire time. Nina you’re not dying stop being so dramatic a cold won’t kill you.

24: what motivates them

Nina is motivated entirely by her goals of helping others and becoming great. She’s a loving person and anybody she loves becomes another motivation for her to keep going no matter how bad it may get.

25: why you enjoy them

Honestly, Nina is fun. She’s not one of my best ocs, in fact writing wise, she’s probably one of the worst I’ve gotten the chance to use, but who even cares because she’s just fun. Does she have a serious backstory? Nope, I don’t even know most of it myself beyond the necessary events, but I also don’t care.

Terra:

1: their voice

Deeper voice, very loud. She has a surprisingly overbearing presence.

2: their smile

Terra gives out toothy smiles, a lot of the time after she’s just finished laughing especially. They’re honestly big, but not like the best smiles ever I guess.

4: their insecurities

Terra’s biggest insecurity is her fear of failure, but in a different sense than her sisters. Where as Kat is so afraid of failure she doesn’t try, Terra’s so afraid of failure she works doubly hard at whatever the goal may be.

5: their shortcomings

Terra’s shortcomings come a lot from being too determined to keep track of one goal. In all honesty in SS if it wasn’t for Matt, Clary, and Kenshi all working with Terra, she might’ve been ten times more obsessed with figuring out how to bring back Nicole. And I mean...she was already pretty bad with that in the rp itself.

7: how they like to dress

For lack of a better descriptor, think of the most stereotypical adventurer’s clothing you can think of. Now put it in a pastel shade of blue or purple.
