A thought that crossed my mind today was that the eye-color inconsistencies in the DetCo anime could be explained in-universe by the characters just wearing color contact lenses 🤣🤣🤣

Like I'm still a bit shocked that Hakuba has supposedly blue eyes in the manga, while in all of his anime appearances they have some variation of the color brown. I mean, it'd make more sense for me if he was wearing brown contact lenses, especially when he's in Japan, to blend in, I guess, and not stand out as a complete foreigner (his hair could have been considered bleached in that case lmao).
