a/b/o jacegon & jacemond fic idea

aegon's hand on his wrist presses bruises into jace's skin. at his uncle's left shoulder, aemond stands silent and still. the other boy doesn't touch jace out of deference to aegon and, for a moment, jace has to resist the urge to laugh.

ever a second son, even now.

"i will have you, nephew. today or tomorrow, it matters little." aegon's voice steals him from his thoughts. alpha pheromones fill their crowded corner, so territorial they make jace's nose burn. "you presented for me, jace. you are mine, by all rights."

his insistence makes aemond's soundlessness and lack of a scent more apparent. between their gathered group, he is the odd one out - unpresented, for all that he is jace's elder by two years.

brown eyes have not left aegon's hungry gaze. jace tips his chin up, proud. daring and defiant and utterly unassailable despite his odds.

"your memory fails you, uncle." he bares his new omegan teeth and leans in towards aegon; the best position for taming a dragon requires closeness, not distance. "my heat was first, and your rut came shortly after. if anything, you presented for me."

spoiler alert: aemond presents as another alpha in the following week & basically, if i ever did write this fic, it would mainly be around the struggle to assert who is dominant. aegon and aemond each want jace for their own, but jace is playing chess not checkers and is already plotting a future where he has two prince consorts (in the style of the conqueror bc the dragon has three heads!!). meanwhile grandsire viserys is just like *clueless, absolutely endeared smile* "oh look the kids are getting along"
