#we're finally getting some rain #so I was naively hoping to find some mushrooms in the woods today #nope #nada zero zippo zilch #I don't even mean edible mushrooms #just ANY mushrooms #I'm starting to think it's not just the heat #the forest is angry #all the pine tree chopping and bulldozing #they were cutting down the trees in 2018 and we had barely any shrooms that year too
