#daily cow #breed: corsicana #my favorite genre of cows; wild herds of cattle #as the name would suggest these guys are native to Corsica (french island) #they were originally used as draught animals for cereal farming #but after the farming opportunities dried up on the island it seems like the cows sorta just. got left behind #there's a lot of photos of these guys just wandering around the beaches and such so it seems like they're just a part of the ecosystem now #apparently corsicana cows have injured at least 4 people and are known to damage cars and attack tourists #and the *mayor* of a village shot one of the cows after it attacked a council member #so ???? i don't know what the fuck is going on on this island but it sounds cool
