The split screen between Fai and Kurogane as they go Full Intensity Mode is FANTASTIC though. Kurogane’s sword is OUT and READY FOR THREATS.

Luckily the people mostly just seem to be threats to themselves more than anything at the moment but it’s good to be prepared

The time loop could sustain itself comfortably potentially forever as long as everything was the same and there were no changes, but the second they arrived things grew less and less stable, and the more new things they did the more this escalated.

To the point where now when they’re asking new questions people all around them are just coming apart at the seams and the entire time loop is collapsing.

The really interesting part is that this is probably a bit of a parallel to what Evil Wolverine is doing to the universe at large - where things are all nice and working just fine as long as everything is contained within the rules that run the universe, but the more Evil Wolverine pokes holes in the timelines and disrupts things with his plans, the more the logic of the universe starts to collapse around itself and things just generally start falling apart. It’s like a slowly escalating entropy scale that suddenly starts to tip the heavy it gets - and I assume his plan is to get it to flip entirely so he can finally just do what he wants and the rules can’t stop him.

And CONFIRMED: Kurogane and Fai both read them as alive, so they are living beings in some sense or another.

Which has that LOVELY CLAMP TWIST OF THE KNIFE, where we could already guess that they were alive due to the cues given, but they didn’t confirm it in the narrative until AFTER they all started falling apart right in front of us.

Sometimes I can’t help but remember the time my less-transphobic brother asked me in one of those quiet talking-about-life moments that if trans people are this or that gender, what gender are they attracted to?

And I was like oh! This was a question I also had when I was brand new to trans stuff! So first, gender and sexuality are different things, right, and—

And he interrupted with “I don’t believe that.”

And I was just so. Well then how the hell do you expect me to answer your question. You asked me. What do you mean “I don’t believe that.” Not even a skeptical “but what about,” just a flat no that’s impossible. So do you not believe gay men exist, asshole? With hindsight and thinking about it more I think I’d have a better idea of how to respond to that, but several drinks in at 2am on christmas eve I had nothing.

“I don’t believe that.” Okay I got nothing for you then bitch. Live in denial and confusion.

#i know now that this is a view some people have #where like ‘attraction to women’ is one of the inherent traits of manhood #which is part of why they’re so disgusted by gay men #because it’s a perversion of what they believe manhood is #and so they see gay men as like. non-men for their attraction to men #but it’s such a stupid fucking system that falls apart at the slightest prodding because first of all #if gay men aren’t men then what the fuck are they? women? that would imply that you as A Man should want to fuck them #so if we ban gay men and women from the club of men and women we would need to have at least a 3-4 gender system to accommodate that #and i KNOW the level of heteronormative gender koolaid you’re on would rather kill itself than have more than just a man/woman gender binar #so the only logical conclusion is that gender and sexuality must not be linked #simply because we know gay people exist #so tl;dr the answer to your question abt trans people is Stop Being Homophobic #sepulchritudinous

It’s been said before and the fact that I’m an Izzy simp aside like having a character who survives the most certain death shit ever (shooting himself in the head at point blank) and literally being nicknamed by another character “indestructible” and then become a symbol of protection for a whole group of people die from a fucking bullet to the side that was established in universe to have no vital organs in order to “atone for his sins” or however you wanna spin it and have him say he wants to go after (see point one) literally trying to kill himself in the show that is literally about growth and betterment of the self in a cruel world that wants you dead and where the main (and mostly queer) characters survive the most batshit insane injuries is like COSMICALLY stupid writing like I don’t even understand how you get there and the fact that it’s supposed to be a kind/ happy/meaningful ending is beyond me

There’s a betting Pool amongst all the faculty of Alfea, Red Fountain and Cloud Tower as to who is gonna get with who (out of the staff)

For several years the biggest one was Faragonda and Griffin, shortly followed by Saladin and Faragonda and Griselda and Codatorta.

Avalon and Palladium joined the fray and very quickly rose in ranks to second place

I need the whole queer discourse thing to progress past interpersonal usage. Whether someone personally refers to themselves as queer or not quite literally does not fucking matter, the only thing worth discussing atp is how widespread that usage may be (calling it the queer community, is it reclaimed enough for ppl outside the community to say it in that specific way, etc.)

genuinely feel so lost in life. i fucking hate my job. i don’t want to be in school but i have to or my fucking parents r gonna kill me. i think going to school will make me more suicidal because that’s how i felt in highschool i just can’t fucking do that shit. i don’t even wanna hear about no “college is actually wayyy better than highschool” FALSE. idc if the work is easy. having work at all is genuinely gonna fucking kill me. my school anxiety was almost entirely bc i couldn’t fucking work. i turned in everything so late and had so much shit excused because i had a nice teacher. if i go to college without even wanting to be there i’ll fucking shoot myself like BRUUUHH. going to school literally only means i’ll have to email all my teachers every week that my assignments won’t b turned in on time because i’m suicidal
