I really like to think that Dream and Killer would bond after a long time of battling each other, after Nightmare is gone in someway of course.
Always on the other side of a battlefield, but still becoming pretty friendly with one another (other than the constant trying to incapacitate each other) thanks to Killer's constant talking and making fun of Dream.
And then then at the end, when Nightmare either died or has been imprisoned or has turned back into his previous self for whatever reason. They bond over it.
Because Dream missed his Nightmare, the one who died a long time ago under the tree. But he couldn't mourn him for the life of him. He couldn't cause of the constant influx of positive emotions flowing through him thanks to the apple. And he felt so guilty for it at the start. Still trying to believe his brother was somewhere inside that monster who was causing so much death and negativity.
Killer couldn't because Nightmare gave him no reason to care about him, and his messed up soul fucked with his emotions and it just got worse when Nightmare wasn't there to turn it back to second stage. He didn't fucking care about Nightmare because why would he? The guy used him and kept throwing him around. But he also had power, and Killer missed, y'know, killing people. Something Nightmare gave him. He doesn't care about the horrible mass of goop but he misses him. And god does he not understand why, but it feels right.
So Dream and Killer talk for the first time. For real finnaly. Not in a battle, not with Killer trying to distract him. No. Really talk. About everything, about Nightmare.
And after enough time, they truly bond!
JUST IMAGINE THEM AS BESTIES!!!!

"it's okay you know, if you need to vent" with Bruno? I feel like mans has got wicked anger issues he's been suppressing
Let's give it a shot!
***
Bruno was pacing by the lake when Félix finally found him. The youngest triplet had disappeared from their nineteenth birthday party and Félix had offered to find him before Alma could notice, before Pepa could grow a cloud and clue their mother in that something was wrong.
Though Félix thought Alma should have known something was wrong. Maybe it was uncharitable of him, but it was her fault Bruno had run off in the first place.
Honestly, the way people talked about Bruno needing to "settle down," you'd swear he was dying next week. He had literally just turned nineteen today, but every adult Félix came across at that party kept getting jabs in about Bruno settling down and "finding someone nice like your sisters have. Don't you want to be happy?"
Bruno's response? "I don't want to be with anyone."
Perfectly valid, as far as Félix was concerned. As far as Alma and the others were concerned, it didn't make any sense.
"You don't want to be alone, mijo, don't be silly," Alma said. Bruno had gone quiet and Alma kept trying to nudge him towards this girl or that. Eventually, Bruno had simply vanished.
"You okay?" Félix asked him now, watching as his friend continued to pace, muttering under his breath. For all his meekness, Bruno knew some truly impressive swears.
Abruptly, he stopped, scooped up a handful of stones and began to throw them into the water with more force than necessary.
"I'm fine," he said through gritted teeth. "Peachy. Perfect. You should go back to the party."
"So should you," Félix said, taking a seat on the grass.
"I'm fine," Bruno repeated, not looking at him. He threw another stone, kicked at the dirt and grabbed another handful to throw.
"It's okay, you know," Félix said. "If you need to vent." Bruno was always telling Pepa to express herself, but he was terrible at following his own advice.
Luckily, in this case, a little prompting was all he needed to let it out.
"Why are they so obsessed with me dating someone!?" he exploded. He threw the entire handful of stones, glaring at the lake like it had personally offended him. "How is it anyone's business but mine? Why does it even matter? Frankly, I think it's pretty damn creepy of them! They ignore me the rest of the time or curse me behind my back, and they have the nerve to ask when I'll 'find someone'!?"
By the end of it, Bruno was panting for breath, fists clenched. He looked like he was going to start screaming or burst into tears. Quite possibly both.
"It's not their business," Félix agreed. "Not in the least."
"Thank you!" Bruno still sounded furious. He sat down with a huff, fists still clenched. Félix reached over to gently unclench them, before Bruno's nails could cut into his palms again.
"You don't need to date anyone," Félix said firmly. "Not ever. And anyone who says otherwise can jump in the damn lake."
"No they can't," Bruno said quickly. "It's ours."
"Well, they can find another lake to jump in then, bro. But honestly? Fuck 'em."
Bruno gave a scandalised laugh as if he hadn't been swearing himself mere moments ago.
"Fuck 'em!" Félix repeated with a grin. "The whole lot of them! So long as you're happy, who cares? That's all I care about. That's all Pepa and Julieta care about. And Agustín, you know that too, right?"
Shyly, Bruno nodded.
For a moment, they looked out at the lake while Bruno caught his breath. But Bruno, being Bruno, had to get one last jab in.
"You say fuck 'em, Félix," he said, tilting his head with a grin. "But I'm still not interested."
Félix burst out laughing, flinging an arm around his friend's shoulders. "Okay, yeah, I walked into that one, huh?"
