you're always seen smiling and laughing about those vine or meme-like videos you see online. whenever you show them to gojo or toji, they're like, "uh-huh, that's nice kikufuku/angel." but like, they really don't get what's so funny about that lawnmower soaring through the sky with some girl singing a high note, or that "f re sh a voca do" one, or literally the vines and memes you show them every single time.

being a "typical" gen-z, you have your slang in your vocabulary that poor gojo and toji just can't seem to get the hang of.

"periodt" uh, are you on your period or are you talking about the exclamation mark?

"slayy" do you mean to kill? what?

your adoptive and biological fathers are so confused when you just start quoting vines and memes, as well as saying gen z slang on a daily basis. they just can't keep it up that well, but i can definitely see gojo working hard to do so. gojo wants to knows what's in and out for the youth to be able to relate to his students, and not just you.

please, even the king of curses is so fucking confused. he's like, "is this the language that people speak now?" sukuna would have also kicked you out of his domain if it weren't for your almighty chaos magic, rendering him powerless while you hit a woah that one time.

gojo definitely asks the students to translate for him whatever slang you just started saying. the same goes for toji, who asks tsumiki and megumi. 

you got into a heated argument with the higher-ups at one point because they were irritating you with all the special grade missions, and side comments they were throwing at you, and you just started yelling things like, "you're done, you're done." "objection, lack of hairline." "wow, it's internalized misogyny for me." "it's not the vibe, stop." "all of you just had to be fire signs." it both disses and baffles the higher-ups; in either way, gojo is proud.

when it comes to memeing and stuff, you definitely relate to the first and second-year students more, especially yuuji and nobara, because your age is closer to them as a teenager. in fact, you show and do tiktoks with them almost all of the time, from dances to skits. gojo occasionally joins in because he doesn't want to be left out, and he also wants to be able to relate to you and the others.

gojo definitely tells nanami all the gen z stuff he learns from you and his students, and nanami is just like (ㆆ _ ㆆ), because it sounds strange hearing those slangs, vines, and memes from gojo himself.

even when you're sad, you say things like "i'm going through it," and when you're really excited, you do that lowercase scream while shaking your head and opening your hand over your mouth.

you have a very broken sense of humor. they could show you a badly photoshopped picture of something with some random words, and you'd find it really funny even if isn't. you are enigmatic for this personality of yours, but they actually like this side of you. it makes you fun to be around. even if people like gojo, toji, and nanami don't really understand you, seeing you smile, laugh, and be enthusiastic about explaining why those videos and slangs are funny is enough to make them happy.

i wanted to do both but then i did the top 5 anime and i got very carried away with my explanations so i kept it as just that. anyway:

1. haikyuu!! probably my favorite show ever tbh. i think hq has a perfect story, like it uses its genre to do everything right, and its impact on the outside world is amazing as well. as for the series itself, it's just beautiful (ignoring that one episode in season 4) and has a very unique style, stellar voice acting, awesome soundtrack, delicious symbolism, and it really gets you hyped for volleyball :P it's very easy to get attached even to the most minor character bc the story is written in a way that lets almost everyone in this HUGE cast (well over a 100 or even 150 named characters, i'm pretty sure) shine, and you're guaranteed to find someone you like. the only downside is you'll probably end up rooting for every team so eventually a team you like will lose a game (likely to another team you like) and that hurts every time fr. and still!!!!! it manages to be so feel-good and optimistic and really gets you pumped and inspired!!!! i think anyone who is even just open to try sports anime should check it out, it's def one of the most accessible I've seen in that genre (in a sense that it doesn't expect you to already be familiar with the sport to understand the story)

2. honestly?? osomatsu-san. probably bc it's very dear to me like emotionally, season 2 was still releasing when i was stuck in the hospital for a few months, and it was like a light i held onto every week (i was also following a few mangas back then but those were harder to follow. due to oso-san's skit nature it was always a good time) and i mean, ichi was my first f/o before i even knew that term existed hehe. it's one of these shows i wouldn't actually recommend to anyone unless i know they're ok with gross or edgy humor but i do think it's really good, i love how meta it is, and i think it uses its premise to deliver maximum entertainment!

(oh my god that was so much gushing abt a silly skit show i am so sorry <- guy who wrote most of the hq gushing after typing this part up. he was not aware)

3. ok so this one's really niche, idk if any of you have even heard of it heh. it's called bungou stray dogs-

ajdkflhlh while i have my gripes with how they adapt the manga, i do still think it's a very good anime as is. it was good enough to get me hooked on the story and characters and want to learn more and follow the story further, yknow? it's beautiful and i love its use of colors for symbolism, it has really great voice acting, and the energy is kept up throughout it enough to remain engaging. it's honestly a show I'd recommend everyone to at least try 🤔!

4. persona 4!!!! from one mediocre adaptation to a GREAT adaptation. i think p4's anime is really really well made - it manages to translate a game this long into a coherent and interesting story, gives its characters time to shine, and maintains a perfect balance between fun and emotions. also it has probably the best dub I've ever heard. naoto's anime voice dni. also i think episode 26 is a true masterpiece i think everyone should watch it

5. ngl. it's a three way tie for me. between shows i only watched once and don't have a lot of attachment to beyond that, but i think they're really good for very different reasons. gekkan shoujo nozaki-kun / great pretender / blue period. i won't go into details on why i love them all bc this post is already long enough. but if you're reading this you should check them out 🫡

The World Could Be Beautiful, a Tales of Symphonia ‘fic (Chapter 14)

Word Count: 78,782 Summary: After a chance encounter in Izoold, Raine and Regal both get a lot more than they bargained for. (A one-night stand 'fic with consequences.) Chapter Summary: Genis and Raine have a couple of heart-to-hearts. Pairing/Characters: Regal/Raine, Genis, George, Lloyd, Colette and assorted OCs as the story requires. Zelos shows up later. Warnings: Blanket warnings for the entire fic: pregnancy (and all that comes with it), discussion/mention of abortion, power imbalance, fantasy racism. Rating: Explicit. (No sex in this chapter, but there's a mention.) Genre: Romance/angst/friendship vibes.

We find out why Genis quit school (racism, basically). I really, and I mean really, loathe the idea that "half-elves are all intellectual by nature." It's just so gross to me, it reads like racist rhetoric (just in fantasy form).

I know we get quite a few "intellectual half-elf" characters, but that doesn't mean they are all that way.

Raine's z-skit where she thinks about how being a half-elf gives her the lifespan to indulge her curiosity and interest in learning is PEAK GREATNESS. I like the idea of leaning into her just being a curious person who likes to learn (regardless of her race, but this gives her a benefit to learning, that it can go on and on). That said, I do definitely think that if she'd had a more "normal" upbringing, she might not be quite so laser-focused on learning and on knowledge.

Something something, The Count of Monte Cristo strikes back with "freedom can be taken away (but knowledge cannot)." I think Genis likes to learn too, and I'm truly obsessed with the idea that he and Raine are intelligent in different ways...and that their passions in learning are found down different paths—him leaning toward math and science, and her toward the arts.

That said, I think Raine is the kind of person to sort of...accidentally project onto Genis her own wants. It's not that I believe she might live vicariously through Genis, necessarily, but that she'd struggle a bit with the idea that what she wishes she'd had for herself isn't necessarily what Genis wants for his own life.

I do feel very very certain that, in Raine's pursuit of knowledge and of schooling, she would have tolerated racist behavior against her, but she is not the kind of person who wants to make waves or stir (let alone feel) hatred. Genis is a different person and he's like fuck this shit I'm out.

FINALLY, Genis gets to hear Raine's side of what happened and why. You know he's been waiting ages.

I didn't get a lot of opportunity to really explore Genis in this story because I never dipped into his perspective, but you know he's been very worried all these months. Surely she wouldn't have married a man for the sake of pure convenience?

He just wants his sister (and mom, tbh) to be happy. The idea that maybe she gave up and just settled for the sake of the baby or for financial security has undoubtedly had him a bit extra worried; what if he showed up to town and she was miserable? Or just...not happy in general, even if she was okay?

Personally, I think Raine would be all right in a marriage of convenience so long as it was to a good friend who didn't push her into anything she didn't want to do, but Genis would always think she deserved better than that.

I think, too, growing up with her never having had a chance to do anything for herself...always putting her all into raising him and going without for his sake... That she is content in this marriage, that it really is love, that she's...happy? He couldn't have asked for more.

Cramping after orgasm is pretty normal whether you're pregnant or not (and is not necessarily indicative of any sort of specific problem). However, Regal and Raine probably wouldn't know that (and they're not really having sex that often to begin with), so having this happen when she's eight months in is kind of terrifying.

Especially with the lie they've told everyone, it would be super obvious they were lying if she went into labor a whole month early LOL. They want to get as close to the actual due date as possible.

I feel like Raine just. Would definitely have some experience in midwifery. Something about being a healer.

Also, the old-fashioned (but still quite prevalent) idea that men shouldn't see a baby coming out of their wife's vagina is because there's just this whole fucking subset of men who, once they actually see this happen, are magically unattracted to their wives. They are gross and deserve to be bullied.

Also, four-year-old Genis casually observing a birth is just fully based on someone I used to be relatively close to (whose very young daughter was present for the birth of her second baby). Yeah a little kid would think the sudden appearance of the head was kind of fucking funny.

That said, of course Genis would not find this very funny now. Birth shifts from being really cool and fascinating to being scary quickly when it's someone you love having to do it.

Lastly, Genis seeing his sister as a "domestic housewife" is something I wanted to look at more closely from the beginning, but I think Raine sort of fell into it a bit easier (taking one step at a time) so it's not the kind of thing she's thinking too deeply about. There's a lot of relief to be had in having money, having a place to live, having the things she needs, and in having help with the baby.

From Genis's perspective though, it just sorta looks like she's being turned into a housewife. Which is weird, because she never really...gives off vibes that she'd be happy doing that.

I personally think Raine needs to hit a middle ground with a family. If, indeed, she ends up with children, she strikes me as the type of person who wants to be very involved, and would prefer to stay home, but not to the degree of losing herself and making her entire identity mother/wife/caretaker.

With Regal she gets to strike a balance between raising a child and being a wife and having a career, because she does need these identities outside of her husband and outside of her child.

Also, wouldn't Raine's little history for kids books be cute? I think she should do it, even if Genis disagrees. 🤣

I'm sorry, but I don't understand why the Star Allies intro screen is so bad /gen? I know which one they're talking about, and iirc it's just Taranza and Adeleine/Susie, I don't understand what the issue is between either of those pairings. Is is it just people seeing Susie as problematic for shipping in general, or is it because people see Adeleine as child-coded, because I took the height increase in Star Allies (around 130% what it was in DL3 and 64 regardless of what you hc the heights to be) as a significant age increase? Or is the problem with Taranza/Ribbon, bc it doesn't seem to be what's implied there and kinda seems like looking for something to be upset over, not to be insensitive since I do see why that particular pairing is kinda dubious

nothing wrong with not getting it! its definitely the issue with adeleine yeah. once again i take the neutral stance of "i never played 64 so im shrugging more than usual" but shes definitely very baby faced still. regardless of what the canonical human look for the series is, i think, and most people do, it still seems shes very young. plus its a little out there for susie and adeleine to be in the same age-group canonically i feel (to make it not weird that he was trying to hit on both of them at once, to be clear). taranzas age and whether hes a kid or adult, as i stated, is a mess and its own can of worms so i wont get into that, but i think for them to be in the same age range, susie would have to be like 18-20 at the youngest and frankly i dont think adeleine is any older than 18-20 either at present day. you have to stretch it a bit for it to make sense, but to be fair it is mostly just speculation and vibe feeling rather than anything with evidence

it may have to do some differences between shimomura and kumazakis views on the character and the kirby universe in general tbh. i know in some art in the dreamland games ado (do NOT come at me with the if ado/adeleine are the same person debate LMFAO im not having that rn) has like regular human proportions, but in gameplay shes chibified a lot which makes her look younger, and then adeleines star allies appearance is based off of her in-game 64 appearance which is also chibi ofc so its ???? Maybe a side-effect of a side effect of game necessity???? i mean its definitely up for debate but the whole susie+adeleine needing to be in the same age range is probably the most egregious issue.

once again i refer back to what i think is the most plausible reasoning: the title screen skit was just a fun idea they had and it was never meant to be taken that seriously

one of the things i rarely come across in the fandom but i think is really interesting is mago / dedede. I think their personalities clash yet they have a ton in common; both are determined and may be stubborn at times, but also have difficulty expressing their true feelings and tend to bottle things up for the sake of others. They also both like engineering n all that stuff which is cool, just some things they could talk about. They both obviously fucked up in the past for similar reasons by letting their desires get the better of them but attempted to change it which is a huge similarity! feel like dedede could give some pointers about how to handle magolor's guilt and especially dealing with possession?? idrk

i also see like NONE of this which is sad bc both are my favorites lmao but mago / bandee !! i LIVE for their dynamic in the super kirby clash novel; how bandee doesnt put up with none of mago's shit fdgfh and how protective he is of kirby. They don't give us much to work with besides that but could always spark some good ideas anyways. (apparently we could be getting more of their dynamic soon though... Not sure) Both also like apples. mago / daroach is very good too, in a similar way to mago with dedede (both thieves who ending up taking a better turn yet still enjoy to stir things up sometimes). I like to imagine that him and daroach will purposely steal things from each other just for fun like in that one ksa skit (but they always give them back), it's just funny to watch the other freak out over it. I think an interaction with mago dedede and daroach together would be hilarious bc daroach has a grudge against dedede yet they all have a ton in common with each other and mago's just sitting there enjoying the chaos. Could be really fun to figure out

Hi! If I wanted to get into stray kids where should I start?

Oh my goodness anon, I'm so thrilled to receive this ask!! ❤️ Apologies in advance for the long reply ahead, and please don't hesitate to ever send in any other asks if you need clarification or have any other questions! I'm always happy to talk about Stray Kids ^^

I'd say the first place to start depends on whether you are already a kpop fan! If you aren't, it might be helpful--but not required at all!--to take a look at some guides to kpop to get an idea of what people mean when they talk about liners, generations, bias wreckers and daesangs. A good starting place is the kpopfairy carrd--it's a very good introduction to the terminology and culture you might encounter if you choose to become a more dedicated SKZ fan (side note: SKZ is the abbreviation for Stray Kids!).

In terms of getting into their music: a lot of their discography is heavily influenced by trap/EDM and even, notably, psychedelic trance (Side Effects--probably one of their most polarizing songs. It's incredible live though, I have to say). But even if those genres aren't quite your thing (they aren't always mine!), SKZ have one of the most diverse discographies in KPOP and almost certainly most Western groups. The music is almost completely self-produced by three of their members, and their lyrics often focus on issues like growing up and mental health. They have 18 albums + EPs + repackages in total, so the discography can be a bit overwhelming. I recommend watching their most popular title tracks--for instance, God's Menu (2020), the song about their unique musical style that catapulted them to fame both inside and outside of the KPOP circle. I also recommend a video that speedruns their songs across genres, like this one, to get an idea of their varied sound! As far as personal recommendations go, I love Phobia, Cover Me, Winter Falls, Haven, N/S, and SUPER BOARD. And, if you're into something a bit more...mature, Red Lights (a subunit song featuring only 2 out of 8 members) is their most-watched music video ever. Not only is the song amazing (and horny!), but the MV was directed by a queer Korean director who incorporates some kink elements in his work, and it's incredibly sexy. (And pretty rare to see something like that in KPOP, tbh.)

As is common in KPOP, Stray Kids have a lot of "variety" content--their SKZ-Talker series goes behind-the-scenes of award shows and when they're on tour, they sometimes do individual vlogs showcasing days in their life, and on and on! There's also their main variety show, SKZ CODE, where the content ranges from them solving murder mysteries, doing drag for an elaborate "SKZ Family" skit, or playing baseball. While all of these shows are hilarious and very fun to watch, they can be pretty overwhelming at first due to trying to tell everyone apart + reading subtitles while 8 men are shouting all at once! My biggest recommendation is to start by watching some fanmade Intro to SKZ videos like this one or this one. They're not entirely up-to-date (for one, Chan doesn't do Chan's Room anymore, which is tremendously sad), but they provide a great insight into the members' info and personalities. There's also this video which was a godsend when I was trying to figure out who's who! Once you feel comfortable enough with that, it is pretty easy to start watching some of their variety content, especially if you begin with individual vlogs where it's generally just one member!

I hope this makes sense and isn't overwhelming--I know it seems like a bit much since there's a huge amount of content from them! There's absolutely no pressure to consume all of it; I've been a fan for four years now and there's definitely still things I haven't seen and probably never will. Stays (the name for SKZ fans) are also by and large very accepting of casual fans who aren't hugely active within the fandom, and the SKZ Reddit in particular is really welcoming/drama-free with an entire weekly thread for new fans called "Baby Stays" where people can chat with others and ask questions. I have recently discovered that I feel extremely meh about a lot of the canon ships, whoops XD Not that I dislike any of them but for a lot of them I wouldn't say I care super deeply about them. I think the one that really averts that is perc'ahlia, I'm a sucker for slow burn and I think the way its clear from really early that they're interested in one another but they have to dig through mountains of personal shit both apart and with each other before finally working up the courage to express that was so good. Also the entire final lead up to them getting together including Percy's resurrection/"I should have told you, it's yours"/fucking wild nat 20 persuasion roll really gets me.

tbh I forget a lot of the skits, I tend to start watching the episodes late and miss them. Tbh I, personally, don't read or write Tinsworth as like. Diet Shane/Ryan. RPF squicks me. For me, Ricky Goldsworth and CC Tinsley are characters "played by actors". If you watch anything else you're not going to immediately assume that just because someone ships characters they're going to automatically ship the actors as well. Both Ricky G and Tinsley stated as bits, as acting done by the boys. I don't see a problem with basing their designs off the boys, like people do with other fan works, because they're the 'actors' of those two characters. And there's art of them that depicts completely original designs. While I might base my own ideas of how they look off the boys it is, again, treating Goldsworth and Tinsley as characters played by actors with some different traits (different eye colors, hair colors, etc) not as Shane and Ryan direct replicas.

Not only that, but to call Tinsworth RPF either because of the boys or because of CC Tinsley... People write fanfiction of real people inserted into movies or plays because those are fictional characterizations of real people. There's fanfiction of Hamilton, Bohemian Rhapsody, and other fictionalized stories based on reality and real people. CC Tinsley may have been a real person, but the portrayal of him via BFU is a heavily fictionalized version of him to the point where the only similarities between the actual CC Tinsley and the BFU Tinsley are the names and, typically, the occupation.

I'm not speaking for everyone on this subject, of course, but that's how I feel about it. I see the concern and where it comes from, but I feel like sometimes it's taken in bad faith because the characters started as little skits and then evolved because of Ryan's 'possession' by Ricky.

i think i usually default to showing people the choromatsu incident or the kart race episode, they're both so fun and the latter has some of my favorite animation in the entire series, which TBH is probably not the way to do it but it winds up being fun no matter what

Symphonia Thoughts Pt. 6

Finally found out why Regal won't enter that city... damn Regal. And Presea too, she's lost everyone now :( I guess I shoulda seen that coming. I'm a little confused though? She was just his servant? The way he acted about her leading up to this had me thinking it was someone super personal to him like his child or love interest. Am I missing something? Uhhh, I do not trust this Mithos kid like AT ALL. His one skit was Genis was kinda sketch. Where he was talking about how humans killed his parents and how he hated them for it and he was like "You understand, right?" Like okay, are we trying to turn him into a half-elf supremacist too? Let's not put thoughts in the poor guy's head. And then in the other skit where the Kendama switched courses to avoid hitting Raine and Colette thought maybe her power did it his response to that was weird. Idk, I don't really like him so far and his friendship with Genis makes me uneasy. Genis please, I will be so sad if you betray it, it will hurt worse than Kratos. Speaking of Kratos, idk what to believe or who to trust. He seems to be trying to help us but now we have also partnered with Yuan. It seems like (judging by their past little confrontations and the fact that Yuan straight up tried to murder him once) that they're on opposing sides... so I'm really wondering if either of them are trustworthy since at the end of the day they both have Cruxis connections. We are back in Sylvarant now, which is inferior in every other way EXCEPT for the fact that I can buy eggs again now which means I can force Colette to eat obscene amounts of fried rice with bell peppers until she hates Lloyd. I plan to spend a few days doing nothing but grinding to get her affection down. The way I clapped my hands and cheered out loud when I finally found a place that sold them after looking everywhere. I originally wanna gonna try for Sheena for Lloyd's soulmate but she barely likes him rn lol😔 Zelos and Colette are already at a high ranking but she's the current highest so I guess I'll try to knock her out of the top spot and aim for Zelos since he's already there. I like Colette but so much of the story already revolves around her, I would rather someone who isn't her have the top spot so they can have more scenes. The Katz village is too cute, I want to live there.

Raine... I wonder why she was left at the gate thing (forget the name) and what exactly that means... Why am I so on edge feeling like everyone is about to betray us? Colette is keeping secrets again, Raine found out something troubling about her past, Mithos is feeding Genis weird ideas, we're probably gonna have to fight Regal when we find out he's the murderer, Sheena was angry that we didn't let her sacrifice herself to Kuchinawa, and then there is Zelos... I got a skit where he jokes about how he should deceive Lloyd and Raine tells him that if he does that then he's forfeiting his life (which like yes, let's go girl, protect your stupid found family son). He says he was just joking... "I think". WHAT DOES HE MEAN BY THIS!? I already thought he was up to something when he wandered off in the renegade base but now he can't even say with confidence that he won't betray what I assume to be a close friend of his? Sir... 😑 Plus judging by what I already know about the choice later, being told he'll have to forfeit his life if he deceives Lloyd is kind of ominous. I have no clue why he dies if he picks Kratos (only that it's seemingly intentional?) but if it's anything related to betrayal... hoo boy, I'm ready (not for him dying, I won't allow it... this time). I had an off feeling about Kuchinawa for a while, he was too nice (this game has taught me to never trust anyone who is kind or helps you out lol). For that matter I don't trust the other dude either tbh... Poor Sheena though, she just can't win. I was glad that everyone (except for Lloyd kinda) didn't push Presea to accept Altessa's apology. Even if he's remorseful it doesn't undo the pain he caused her nor the fact that she lost over a decade of her life because of him. And I have a feeling the death of her sister is related in some way too. I don't think she needs to forgive him. I don't even think she needs to forgive Regal if she doesn't want to. I just hope that she can find comfort and healing someday. It was nice to see her smile, even if it was only that once so far. And lastly, I adore Tabatha with all my heart. She's positively adorable and I love how she just gave us a whole bunch of random stuff for no reason, that was cute.

i'm technically in the middle of working on 2 fics, a oneshot and a 5 chapters fic, both skk c:

the oneshot is rated t and it's like a... continuation(?) of that one extremely cursed wan skit of dazai roleplaying as a dog. i took his comment asking chuuya if he could be his dog and went "haha bet" but like, in a wholesome chuuya-taking-care-of-dazai way. still very much with the dog aspect going on tho

the 5ch one is 😳 rated e. i mentioned it in an ask yesterday hehe, feelings realization+kink realization combo, getting together through platonic bdsm. every chapter is ramping up on both the kink aspect and the intimacy between them and it ended up being weirdly wholesome in a way i didn't expect (it was originally planned to be pwp and just an excuse to write some kinks i don't see enough fics of ngl. but i figured i may as well add at least SOME underlying plot, so, feelings.)

haven't worked on either of these in awhile tho unfortunately 🥲

and! i really really wanna turn my bsd borderlands au into a fic series at some point - start with aya and kunikida and setting up their story and the main conflict, then probably go through some other backstory oneshots or 2-3 chaptered stories 🤔

i figure that first story will end with them being saved by fukuzawa, so the one after it will be about fukuzawa and ranpo and how they got to the current situation as well, maybe throw in poe and how he and ranpo met into the mix too. then go on with other characters that play a part in the current conflict, and how they arrived there ofc, what they've been through before this story started, establish what their personal stakes here are and why they're even taking part in this story at all

aside from backstories i think the main story will also be divided into multiple parts - that first set up, its progression, and then some "side quests". like, the main story is about aya and kunikida, but atsushi and akutagawa have their own arc going on throughout it, so they'll have a part focusing on that too. with the main conflict set up, it'll have multiple branching stories that are tied to it on some level, and are all happening at once

. this is so complex and requires a lot of writing so i doubt i'll get far into it if at all, but it's fun to plan both the story itself and its format tbh 😌 there are so many moving parts lol so finding a way to connect them and bring them together into one thing is a fun challenge 🫡

idk if that ramble made any sense esp without details abt what the story actually is hehe but thank you for letting me ramble 🙏🖤

I don’t think Thomas Sanders is bi (although I could be wrong) In a lot of his videos, including recent ones, he makes jokes about being gay.

Thanks, idk it's been so long since I paid attention to him (never had vine myself) but he did make bi content and I remember him coming out as bi. Someone saying they're gay can mean a few things tho, especially in jokes and playful settings. Like gay is used by a lot of queer folks, lesbians included, especially in my experience if you are from like '98 and down to the late 80s, to signal same sex/gender attraction and when it's joking it's also often referring to "general" queer experiences/archetypes. (queer is a much more serious word and though it's used as a neutral and academic word, it doesn't hold much of a positive vibe or common usage). This is not to like counter you, like I said it's been a while with him for me, so he could have come out as gay-gay. He just made some pretty out'n-proud bi content before where he played on attraction to both men and women in som late vine/early post-vine skits if I remember correctly.

Tbh it's a little funny cause in the end, none of us know him or his inner workings and words are made up and no queer identity really benefits from strict rules and policing on use of words/labels within the community itself and if he's more comfortable with one over the other that's good on him for figuring out. It just felt a bit odd to see him be reffered to as, idk let's call it capital G-gay, when he made content that now could cause a big stir if he labeled himself gay and continued to post the same skits. But I've seen way too much seperatist/purist label policing on here the past 6 months so I'm just ~_~*

i just wanna talk about jikook 25/8 because they're so in love it makes me want to sob? like they just drop so many hints and i just think jungkook has just grown to love jimin so much? in 2013-2014 he was scared shitless of him, like of how much jimin showed his affection. and then he just gave in. he has a soft spot for jimin for sure. jungkook is dominant af but goes soft for jimin when he needs to. that spank was so much more than just for the skit tbh. u don't just do that to your hyung.

I feel like Jungkook has always appreciated and been fond of Jimin, but definitely back in the day he struggled. He was a bit shy, a little introverted and he said himself that he struggled with expressing his emotions and saying what he feels. He was really upset about his inability to be open about his feelings back in the day, if you’ll remember, when talking to/about ARMYs. I’m sure that carried to all of his relationships. As much as he struggled with interacting to and talking to ARMYs, it was probably that way with Jimin too.

That’s why he ended up just kind of freezing up or running away or teasing Jimin when Jimin was cute @ him. But ya know, he doesn’t struggle nearly as much now. Barely at all actually.

Jeongguk has really grown into himself. He’s a confident, affectionate, respectful and loving man these days. He still doesn’t speak his emotions much, because he’s a very action oriented man. That means he tends to speak through glances, through attention and touches. He’s a physically grounded man and I think more than anything, you can tell that Jeongguk is affectionate towards Jimin.

To me it seems like, over time Jeongguk learned that if he isn’t good at speaking his thoughts very much, he would just show them. And I think around that time he started growing up, stopped being quite so shy, learned how to express himself better, was the time you can see a difference in the way he responds to Jimin.

It was never about Jeongguk not liking Jimin back, it was always about him not knowing how to deal with their relationship, and how to express himself well about it either.

He definitely has no issue now. Between touches, stares, unspoken things literally EVERYWHERE, and even occasionally voicing his thoughts, or at least, expressing his fondness through teasing, he clearly has gotten used to both Jimin’s presence and their dynamic, as well as expressing himself to Jimin .

Jikook has the best dynamic in BTS when it comes to unspoken agreements and understanding each other.

ALSO, abt the a$$ slap that changed the world, Jeongguk took the MOST enjoyment out of that it was fkn WILD. I will nEVER be over it. It was 100% more than just a skit slap, anyone with EYES should be able to see that tbh.

Also can we talk about Jikook’s chemistry because???? 👀👀👀
