OHOHOH AND ANOTHER FALL AKI THOUGHT I'VE BEEN STUCK ON...

working w/ aki at a pumpkin patch. like I work at one as my seasonal job and it's LITERALLY THE BEST and I can't stop thinking abt if aki would work there w/ me (he would. the second I'd tell him abt me working there he'd ask for my boss' number)

like I've been there so long so at first he'd just follow and shadow everything until he gets the hint of what to do.

then he'd always be helping me w/ tasks like restocking pumpkins and he let's me pick out all the pretty ones then I'd hand em off to him and he'd fill the wagon, him helping me go around to restock the games but then we'd stop along the way and play a couple of the games together if there aren't any customers... and oh man the best part would be seeing aki interact with all the animals.

whenever I'd clean the pens he'd just be right at my side and help with the gate, feeding and watering them too and then he'd just be watching in awe as my animal whisperer ass just stops every 6 seconds to give the animals scratches. I'd show him all of my goats (esp. bcs they're my favorite animal) and he'd just absorb every mindless goat facts I share w/ him, I'd show him how to catch all the animals and where they like to be scratched the best... OHHH AND AKI HOLDING A BABY GOAT FOR THE FIRST TIME. poor pookie would be so nervous but then by the 3rd or 4th goat he'd have gotten all comfy with it and then next thing you know everytime I then around aki would just be there cuddling with a goat.

I was thinking recently about going to a pumpkin patch with aki... wearing warm clothes and taking pictures together under the autumn trees... or carving pumpkins together... just enjoying the fall weather... this is my favorite time of the year and I'd love to enjoy it with him.

aki with small animals is just so cute in general honestly like he's such a gentle and calm presence, I feel like he's scared of animals sometimes but they always get drawn to him.... hahaha

I relate to you so much... I always imagine if I'm doing something that aki is doing it with me, it makes me feel more excited and gives me more confidence... I'm sure aki would love to be beside you... 💞

there's also just something about them taking in each other as the only ones left? if that makes sense. like yes, the 2020-21 freshman class technically still has 4 people left in it but at the same time, it's different for phil and trusc. portillo could give less of a shit about the team and seems like he doesn't like any of them, and steve is really more focused on the academic side of things. but phil and trusc, they're pretty much lineup mainstays. and they're the ones their houses left behind and in that, they found each other.

CAUSE LIKE YEAH THE FACT THAT CANADIANS HOUSE BECAME THE LAND OF MISFIT TOYS IS SO SPECIAL TO ME

you can clearly tell they had a house pumpkin carving contest and who was on which team 🥺

really solidifies that the whole house is close, but phil and trusc's pumpkin. finding a home in each other through the chaos, OH the narrative

i don't have photos but i know they walk in together every game and it's clear they take the same car and ugh!!!!!

and both of them helped organize the outdoor skating earlier this year and nil club and really it's just them trying to get what's best for the younger guys and stuff

Oh they love carving pumpkins! They especially like the kinda corny hallmark ones with goofy faces, and Brad is better (I hc him to be rather artistically inclined but I'm pretty sure there's no mention of it in the actual show)

I have an idea for two! One of them is just regular clothes but with the sims plumbob above their heads cause they're both gamers, and the other is Kim and Ron from Kim Possible

🍬 How do the two of you deal with trick-or-treater's? Do you hand out candy to them, or are you the kind of people who prefer to hand out something more healthy like fruits etc.? Or do you prefer to not open the door at all and pretend you´re not at home?

The first time Ch3rr1 ever encountered trick-or-treater's she got very confused and started to just randomly give them normal household objects until Brad stopped her, now they give out regular sweets together (and eat the ones that are leftover!)

📺 Do the two of you like to watch scary movies on Halloween? If so, what´s your go to movie?

Oh Brad definitely strikes me as the opposite of Sheldon in that he loves horror movies, doesn't matter what kind whether they be goofy or actually terrifying, but his favourite is the Scream franchise in that it perfectly encapsulates both fear and comedy

My Halloween was great! Even if it didn't go as planned exactly. The plan was to watch halloween movies, make Halloween themed cookies and hot cocoa, and then camp outside for a couple hours so we could look at the stars.

Buuuttt what ended up happening is I went to the doctor because I messed up my ankle and knee, got to take a lovely shower while Daddy cooked me dinner! Oh we were also supposed to carve pumpkins but apparently try pumpkin carving kits don't exist in Louisiana anymore 🙄 and everyone knows Daddy would have either not let me use a knife, heavily policed me while I did so, orrr been a nervous wreck the entire time.

So not according to plan but still very lovely! How was your Halloween?

Oh yea! My Daddy was up, or rather down, because I'm in the south, they did pretty good for a Northerner.

Oh yes they treat me very well, I was absolutely spoiled the entire time. I don't think I made food for myself once in the entire two weeks that they were here 😅

(But also don't tell them I said so but they're abusive and my booty is definitely still sore)

so ethan's old enough to where he likes to pick his costume [though most times he's just different hockey players 💀] and that first halloween after finding out matt's his dad, ethan dresses up as him for halloween–in full calgary gear– but the halloween's after that when they're together as a family they might do a little family costume, but ethan's still wanting to dress with friends. but in the au timeline, matching family costumes are a thing up until ethan turns like 9 or 10 and wants to match costumes with his friends

howevvverrrr, once like miss scarlett and the other kiddos come around, they do do some family costumes [though ethan will also want his own thing lol bc tween/teen things]

traditions wise, carving pumpkins is a must!!! when miss scarlett is born, she's still pretty young come halloween, so ethan says they can share a pumpkin– he carves it and she just doodles on it with a marker 💀 trick-or-treating is also a must, and they do sort through their candy and do trades. much to caroline's dismay [and longing dislike of oogie boogie], the nightmare before christmas is a must watch while the kids are all sorting through candy.

ethan does try to get slick before trick or treating time and sneak some candy out of the bowl for other trick or treaters and if matt's home, he blames it on matt– and when scarlett and payson are around, he tries to blame it on them by using them to grab the candy for him but boy isn't slick 💀

halloweeen is a fun time in their little household, that's for sure.

I have a second to talk about my date and my life updates

Okay so what is this … the 6th date?

It was cute cute like we went to the pumpkin patch, had dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, it was cute. And then he was like "oh do u mind if we go to my old apartment? I need to sign off and return my keys" and I was like "sure"

So we get there and I'm thinking "yes I stay in car" but he was like "... aren't you coming in?" And I just ??? "Oh but I don't want to intrude if ur housemates r still there" and he was like "oh no one's there" so I just .... and he had to b like "no come in" so I was just like frantic I had to keep looking at everything cuz idk this place. And we get to the elevators and he's like "oh hey" to the person who came out - his housemate - and I just 👁👄👁 while they talked lmao and on the elevator he was like "that was my housemate i think he just left"

So we actually get to his apartment and I feel very awkward going in so I just like hesitate by the door way and he has to like pull me in so I'm like IN the place. And he's signing stuff and putting his keys in AND THEN HIS HOUSEMATES (2) COME BACK and I just 👁👄👁 shy off into the kitchen corner like a dummy lol and they're talking and I just ☺️ lmao But then the girl housemate turns to me and introduces herself and I just "hi ☺️✨” CUZ IDK IF ILL EVER C THEM U KNOW I BARELY KNOW HIM so he like motions me to go over to him and I help him disassemble one of those closets that r meant for ppl who don't have closets

And they just kinda 👀 and I just 😳

So when we left I said bye to them and they replied back 🥺 so they're nice at least about my rudeness

But then we went back to his place, carved the pumpkins, watched squid games, and played with his cat. And we had like an intense game of footsies to fight over the slippers and he found out I’m ticklish af and would use it against me LITERALLY JUST SQUEEZE MY SIDE WHENEVER HE WANTED like sir watch ur hands ur getting a little too comfortable

So moral of the story homeboys getting comfortable but today he texted me the “thanks for a wonderful night” blah blah blah “if it’s ever too late you can sleepover at my place” and now I’m just ಠ_ಠ like where? And then he quit his second job so now he has free time for an entire week until he goes back to his first job and I just - what happened. You were telling me u didn’t like having territory over ur space but now this is going on? But anyways - that’s where I’m at. I really like the person im dating but now im confused cuz idk where we both r at.
