Hello! How are you doing? You were doing free tarot readings. Do you still do them? I just wanted to ask.
Hi! Yes, thank you for asking! I do free tarot (almost) every Friday. I've been doing sessions live on Twitch recently, but tonight's will be just here on the blog since I've got Zero Energy to be live tonight. Readings done on stream are 3 cards, readings done here are 1 card.
I have been considering doing the tarot streams earlier in the week (Mondays, maybe) and Free Tarot Friday on, well, Fridays. It's something I'm looking at for April.
The official post will go up later on this evening, but if you want to send a question early and "get in line" so to speak, you can read over my rules for requesting a reading and send an ask whenever. It won't get answered until I officially start, but I always go from oldest ask to newest.
(I also offer paid readings all the time through Ko-Fi commissions at more than fair prices)

Me @ me: Remember - as much as you enjoy building in The Sims 4, you hate actually PLAYING The Sims 4, so there's no point in buying expansion packs based on how fondly you remember the corresponding gameplay from TS2 or TS3 because you'll never actually play with those features enough to justify paying that much, just use CC if you want new build/buy options
Me @ the Sims 4 Black Friday sales: Ok but listen,

egg update!
going into lockdown for the second clutch and as far as i can tell, we have eleven viable eggs. i'm not expecting all to hatch but i'd be so thrilled if they did. <3
hatch day for the first clutch is thursday and there's four eggs. shipped eggs are a gamble so i'll be happy to have even one of the four hatch. keep your fingers crossed for one of the legbars, though, because i'd love to have an opal legbar.

Since other people are posting cookies, who wants to see the ones I made yesterday?
They're pointy because dipping them in frosting was the best way to create a uniform surface without going through all the trouble of using those icing bag thingys.
Also the color is really weird, look:
It might be hard to see in this photo but the frosting is distinctly full of blue and white flecks. The reason for this seems to have something to do with adding almond milk to it (to make it thinner, I assume, but I was following a recipe so I cannot be blamed for the results), which I suspect combined weirdly with the vegan butter. (Yes I have vegans in my family and yes I feel weird mentioning it on the internet where people sometimes have strong opinions on that. Don't be a dick or I'll block you.)
So. Speckled frosting. Weird but maybe kinda cool? I'm already schemeing about ways to use this effect on purpose, assuming it's reproductible - I'm thinking it'd look cool with green, like evergreen trees with snow on them.
Anyways, that's more than anyone wanted to know about my adventures in baking.

anyway it’s really funny that my entire childhood my mother was desperate to connect with me about Aesthetic Matters Of The Flesh™ while also being bound & determined to keep me from Doing Anything Goth, which of course is the ONLY form of Aesthetic Matters Of The Flesh™ i was interested in, and had she y’know. just been supportive of that. we could’ve had that ~intergenerational Flesh Decor bonding experience~ she was so desperate about

So tired of everything being derailed by racists.
Want to talk about jobs? Blame immigrants.
Want to talk about the state of housing? Blame immigrants.
Want to talk about post-secondary education? Blame immigrants.
Want to talk about healthcare? Blame immigrants.
Want to talk about the state of the economy in general? Blame immigrants.
And it's never about the systems in place that lead to immigration or the how companies exploit young workers from elsewhere in the world (by taking advantage of their inexperience, their lack of support network, taking their money, and so on), it's all about how those dastardly non-whites are trying to screw honest Canadians out of everything by taking advantage of us, and they're personally going after you.
You can be talking about something and even be open to talking about the complex issue that is immigration but it immediately gets taken over by THEY TOOK OUR JERBS! assholes.
It's at the point where as soon as immigrants/immigration comes up, I peace out unless I know the person and can expect them to have a point beyond bigotry and fascism.
Because it's never about our systems, decade(s) of neglect, neoliberalism or conservatism, or anything like that, it's about how selfish, rich, and anti-white brown kids are and things would be perfectly fine if not for them.
